Mama Yang Hero Academia-49

"Hold up, All-for-One, as in the villain that Yang took down a few days ago?" Uraraka questioned.

"Yeah, I think that my Darkness form is the magical version of it. My Darkness Form is the magical representation of the Goddess of Destruction. But destruction isn't something that's entirely evil." Scythe said.

"May I ask, why you think that?" Iida questioned.

"Well, think of a condemned building. It's destroyed for the purpose of building a new, safer, structurally sound building." Scythe exclaimed.

"So you think your Darkness Form, destroys villains' careers by taking their Quirks away?" Tsu asked.

"That's one way of looking at it." Scythe said.

"What about your Light Form?" Todoroki questioned.

"Well, from what I could tell during my fight against Chisaki the other day, it allows me to harness 100% of my strength I inherited from All Might, without harming myself." Scythe stated.

"That's incredible." Iida exclaimed.

"Well now that we know what she was talking about, every one of you will get started on training for Ultimate Moves. An' if you need to make adjustments to your costumes to accommodate for your Ultimate Moves, then just go and talk with the support course." Aizawa said.

"Excuse me, Mr. Aizawa." Scythe said, reverting back to her normal Argonaut Form. "I was wondering if my request I submitted the other day after I finished settling into my dorm, was accepted or not?"

"Ah yes, Power Loader has granted you permission to use the Support Course Workshop, so long as he's there to supervise. He seemed pretty excited to learn about Remnant Technology. You can go if you wish." Aizawa said.

"Thank you Aizawa Sensei." Scythe said walking out of the gym, though a bit stiffly and slowly.

"Xiao Long, is everything all right?" Midnight asked.

"This is normal…" Scythe said. "Any time I use one of those forms my body hurts for a bit afterwards, and the longer I'm in either form, the more excruciating the pain will be when I revert to my normal Argonaut Form. Right now it just feels like the pins and needles someone feels when their legs fall asleep and wake up."

"That is a serious drawback of those forms." Kirishima said.

"Hold on, don't we have to give your Light Form's power, a proper name?" Momo questioned. "Oh, I know, how about One-for-All?"

Scythe froze, with Ruby and Weiss joining her, all three of them looking nervously at her.

"What do you mean by that? Why that name exactly?" Scythe asked.

"You know, like the Three Musketeers, their world famous quote is All for one, and one for all. I think it fits." Momo explained.

'Oh thank the Goddesses, she's just naming off the other half of a quote from a book.' Ruby and Weiss sighed in relief.

"Well, that actually does make sense in a way." Tsu said. "One power, to protect all. It just seems right to call it One-for-All if the other half is All-for-One."

"She's right, but ultimately it's Scythe's decision on if she wants to name the other half of her power like that or not." Uraraka said.

"Well, it seems like it does make for a good name. I guess I can go with it." Scythe chuckled.

"All right, now that you've got the naming issue resolved, everybody back to what they were doing." Aizawa said clapping his hands to gain their attention.

As the students went to create their Ultimate Moves Scythe left for the Support Course Workshop. Once there, she had to sidestep as she opened the door, avoiding an explosion that came out of the doors.

"Damn it Hatsume. You nearly blew up the entire workshop again." Power Loader cried out in anger yelling at the girl who came flying out with the explosion and hit the window.

"Sorry about that." Hatsume said.

"Good grief what am I going to do with you Hatsume?" Power Loader said.

"Um, excuse me." Scythe said.

"Oh, Xiao Long, please come in. I've been expecting you, Aizawa called from Gym Gamma after you left and told me you were on the way." Power Loader said escorting her in. "An' FYI, Hatsume knows about everyone from Remnant."

"How the hell did she find out?" Scythe questioned.

"Aizawa and I were talking about it, and we didn't even notice her coming into the teacher's lounge before it was too late and she heard ninety percent of our conversation." Power Loader sighed. "So we had to fill her in on the rest after swearing her to secrecy."

"So, is it true you and your family are aliens from another planet? Is it true your world has technology and babies that far surpass ours? What are you doing here? Did you come as a pre-emptive scouting troop so you could invade earth? Tell me your secrets." Hatsume said, grabbing Scythe by the shoulders and shaking her.

"We were kidnapped by a villain who's Quirk was temporarily enhanced enough to travel to different worlds." Scythe said, trying to get Hatsume to stop shaking her.

"Oh, is that all?" Hatsume questioned.

"Aizawa and I told you this Hatsume." Power Loader stated.

"So, what interesting babies are you going to make? Maybe we can make some together?" Hatsume suggested.

"Okay, first of all, that statement has me creeped out, quite a bit." Scythe said. "Second, I'm not wanting to change much on my hero costume. I'm just wanting to add some things that I think could be beneficial for me and the people I save."

"Well, let me know what stuff you do change, an' I'll gladly submit the alterations to the agency responsible for making your costume." Power Loader said, smiling under his mask.

"I'm not gonna be doing much. I'm just changing my footwear, from combat heels, to iron souled boots. I want to create them to where they can boost the power of my kicks without going over the safety limits of the power I inherited from All Might." Scythe exclaimed.

"Really? To be honest, I was hoping I could examine some of your Remnant technology." Power Loader said, sounding a bit disappointed.

"If that's all… then knock yourself out." Scythe said tossing him her scroll. "That's known as a scroll. The screens are made of high density light particles that are condensed enough to feel like a glass screen when activated. I was thinking of making an upgraded version some time."

"Why don't you make your own version? It's not patented here on Earth, so if you could make your own version, and connect it to some sort of cell service like you have with this one, you could make a fortune in sales." Power Loader exclaimed.

"I'll keep that in mind. But I'd rather avoid going anywhere near plagiarism if I can help it." Scythe stated.

"Well, back on topic. Your idea is pretty good, especially if your body can't handle its power completely." Power Loader said, handing her the scroll back.

"Well, actually it wasn't my idea. Midoriya and Neo came up with it to help me put more power into my attacks, without risking going over my limit." Scythe explained. "In fact they recommended it for my Aunt Ruby to." Scythe chuckled. "Speaking of Neo, how is she doing, you know as a support course student?"

"Oh she's great, I was kinda skeptical at first because she's a former criminal from Remnant, but she's actually shown some really good promise. She's already helped Midoriya with his gear multiple times since he became a student in Class-B." Power Loader exclaimed.

"Yeah, I'm glad he was the one to replace the Dark Side of U.A, and make it brighter." Scythe sighed.

"The… what now?" Power Loader asked, before another explosion went off, but not as big as before.

"Monoma. I've heard people calling him the Dark Side of U.A on multiple occasions." Scythe explained.

"Ah, well that does make sense." Power Loader chuckled.

~Four Days Later~

"Aizawa, how are things progressing?" Toshinori questioned walking into Gym Gamma, greeting his fellow teacher this had been his fourth visit so far.

"You're back again?" Aizawa questioned. "We're getting there, progress is slow but going faster than expected."

"Now, onto me Dark Shadow." Tokoyami said, gaining their attention. They looked up to see Tokoyami covered by Dark Shadow like armor. "By having Dark Shadow cover me, my strength is enhanced, and I'm better at close combat. I call it Abyssal Black Body."

"Is that hard to say? It's important that it's easy to call out." Midnight said, overlooking Tokoyami's training.

"Got it." Dark Shadow said.

"Some of them have finally solidified their fighting styles." Aizawa exclaimed. "An' there are those already putting together special moves."

They turned to look up at Bakugo as he prepared for his attack as he held his left hand, fingers in a ring form, up to the palm of his right, and that area seen within the circle began to light up.

"Not from my entire hand. But a blast concentrated from a single point." Bakugo said as he let the attack fly off. "AP Shot." He called out as he smirked. "Haha, I did it."

"No surprise that young Bakugo is doing well. As usual." Toshinori said turning back to look at Aizawa, missing the concrete slab that was cracking before it broke and began to fall towards him.

"Hey watch out." Bakugo called to Toshinori.

Aizawa moved and grabbed his scarf to wrap around Toshinori, as he turned and stared at the falling piece of cement. But before Aizawa could execute his plan, a blur of black and red came whizzing by him as a footprint was left indented into the ground with cracks surrounding it, as Scythe went whizzing towards the falling piece of cement.

Scythe's hero costume had changed considerably since the last time Toshinori, Aizawa, or the entirety of 1-A saw it. Her suit consisted of a black sleeve-shoulderless shirt with three red claw like markings on each side of her torso. Around her waist she still had the red sash tied at the hip, with a small thin metal plate, on the sash near the knot on her right hip, engraved with Yang and Blake's emblems. For lower garments, she had on a pair of slim fitting black pants with black and red armored shin guards that highly resembled motorcycle shin guards. On her arms she wore black fingerless Sherwood Bracers that reached up to her mid biceps and triceps, with big red metal vambraces over them. Her boots looked military grade, with iron souls.

"SMASH." Scythe called out as she kicked the piece of cement to bits.

"Whoa, talk about a major costume change." Toshinori said in awe.

"You okay Grandpa Toshi?" Scythe asked walking up to him with a bit of concern.

"I'm fine. Thanks to you Scythe." Toshinori smiled.

"Yo Scythe, what was that? You swooped in and wasted that rock." Kaminari said, gaining her attention and showing the changed they made to their costumes.

"I always thought you were more of a puncher than a kicker." Kirishima smiled. "An' that new costume, finally decide on one you wanted?"

"I'm actually an even amount of both, and yeah this is the final costume I designed, pretty simple but still made of light durable alloy based fabrics, surprisingly I was able to get tungsten alloy." Scythe smiled. "I even took Neo and Midoriya's advice and upgraded my footwear, I replaced the heels with military grade combat boots, and applied iron souls that can spring out at the front and back, boosting the force of my kicks. Though to be honest, that's all I really wanted to do to change my costume, guess I went a little overboard."

"That's amazing." Kirishima smiled.

"I haven't even put my mask on yet. I upgraded it and used the one you gave me as the base for the frame work of it." Scythe smiled.

"That's so cool." Kirishima stated.

"I just came by to get some last minute training in before the gym is taken by Class-B." Scythe smiled. "Though I still got a long way to go before I can call anything besides my other two forms, ultimate moves."

"I don't know Scythe." Toshinori said grabbing her attention. "Based on that kick, I'd say you've already got another move added to your arsenal."

"Hey All Might, it's dangerous in here, you should be careful." Aizawa stated.

"Yeah I know." Toshinori said. "Sorry for the scare young Bakugo." He called out to the ash blonde above.

"You watch yourself All Might." Bakugo said, setting off an explosion.

"Man he's just as grouchy as ever. Don't get what my Aunt Ruby sees in him." Scythe sighed. "So you guys made improvements to your costumes to?"

"Yeah, I see you've noticed we look pretty awesome." Kaminari said.

"You're not the only one here with a brand new style. We've all been making changes here and there." Kirishima stated confidently. "Now's the time to upgrade right?"

"Just wait, my new special gear is gonna blow your mind." Kaminari stated. "It's a serious power boost. Wanna see? Come on, it's totally amazing."

"You shoot a disc out of that device on your arm and it acts as an anchor for your electricity so when you use it, it's more of a precise shot, instead of a big wave that could hit both friend and foe. Right?" Scythe asked.

"Ah, how'd you know?" Kaminari asked.

"I was the one who came up with the design when Power Loader hit a snag in making the blueprints, so he enlisted my help after I finished submitting a full redo of my costume." Scythe snickered. "Neo and I have basically become his honorary apprentices outside of our regular classes, and for some reason, my mom doesn't seem to mind it."

"That's enough Class-A." Ghira chuckled alerting them to his presence with Class-B in tow. "Hey there, just coming in to let you know we're a bit early, but we'll wait until it's actually our turn."

"Ah, I see you're polite as ever Ghira." Aizawa said. "You always give off such a diplomatic vibe."

"Well, I was the Chieftain of Menagerie you know. I think I might still technically be the Chieftain, seeing as my responsibilities did take me out of the country for long periods of time, the people just might believe I took a business trip and have yet to return." Ghira said.

"Whoa wait, you mean to tell us you are basically a king back in your country, you called it Menagerie right?" Kirishima asked.

"If you want to get technical yes." Ghira chuckled. "An' don't worry about the rest of Class-B finding out about our origins Scythe. Nezu had me tell them everything if I wanted to continue working as a teacher here."

"So wait… if he's a king then that would mean…" Kaminari trailed off turning to look at Scythe. "Holy Crap we've got a princess in our ranks."

"Hmm?" Scythe asked turning to him.

"Hahahahaha." Ghira laughed. "I guess that's true Young Kaminari. Scythe I guess you could say, was my first choice for taking my place as leader of Menagerie when it was time for me to retire."

"Seriously Grandpa? You wanted me to be leader of Menagerie when I got older? What about Mama?" Scythe questioned.

"Blake is good, and has a strong sensible head on her shoulders, but she made it abundantly clear when she was little that she didn't want to become Menagerie's leader after me." Ghira exclaimed. "So that responsibility fell to any children she might have, which turned out to be you."

"All right, 1-A, let's pack it up and head back to the dorms, we'll continue the training tomorrow." Aizawa called to his class.

"Yessir." The entire class called back.

"Xiao Long, before I forget…" Aizawa said handing her a business card. "Mirko sent this for you in the mail, normally we don't let students do anything like work studies until after the entire class has gone through the provisional licensing exam, but you've already gotten your provisional license from the training camp, so we agreed to this. Plus, Mirko doesn't usually take a shine to anyone, doesn't have any sidekicks, or makes any teams, but she seems rather interested in you, and has made this request."

"Wait so… I'm not gonna be watching the rest of my class take the test?" Scythe asked.

"Unfortunately no, even if you hadn't gotten this offer, you still wouldn't have been able to." Aizawa said. "You'd just be sitting either on the bus, or in the dorms until we got back."

"Think of it this way, you'll have a head start on work experience than everyone else." Toshinori said. "But you will have to make up the studies, and lessons you miss."

"I understand." Scythe said.

~Mirko Agency: Day of the Provisional License Exam~

"Hey, look who it is, the little rookie." Mirko smiled as Scythe, in her Argonaut Form, walked into her agency.

It was a rather small office space, but that was to be expected from someone who's never taken on a sidekick, or formed teams with other heroes.

"Mirko, it's nice to see you again." Scythe said. "So what's up?"

"Well, it I wanted to test your merit. You're quite the diligent student, from what your mom tells me, and…"

"You're wanting to know more about my draconic abilities?" Scythe asked.

"Pretty much, I mean there's Ryukyu, but that's just her Quirk." Mirko said. "You were actually born a dragon."

"Dragon Faunus." Scythe said. "There's a difference."

"True enough." Mirko chuckled. "Anyways, we can discuss your draconic heritage more at a later date, right now I've got a job for us to do. It involves an abandoned research lab in the mountains, near the area where we met."

"I see." Scythe said, cupping her chin in thought with her index finger and thumb. "Possible League of Villains Activity?"

"A possibility." Mirko said.

"So when do we leave for it?" Scythe inquired.

"We leave in an hour." Mirko said. "So gear up, and get ready for a fight."

~Exam Area~

"Is anyone else getting kinda nervous?" Jiro questioned.

"I wonder what they're gonna make us do." Mineta questioned. "Ugh, what if I can't get my license?"

"Mineta." Aizawa said, gaining the grape head's attention. "Don't ask if you can, say you will."

"Right. Sure, I've so got this."

"If you can pass this test and get your provisional licenses, then you novice eggs will hatch into chicks, you'll be semi-pros. I expect your best." Aizawa exclaimed.

"All right, I can't wait to be a heroic chicken." Kaminari said.

"I cannot believe you just said that." Weiss said, looking at him with a, really, look on her face.

"Let's call out the usual you guys." Kirishima said, not noticing the student with the white shirt and black hat on his head joining their group. "On my mark, go Plus…"

"Ultra." The student not of their class cried out raising his fist, at the same time as Kirishima.

"Who the hell are you?" Ruby questioned.

"You know it's pretty rude to barge into other people's huddles like that Inasa." Another student, wearing the same uniform as Inasa, exclaimed.

"What? Pardon me." Inasa said, a smile still etched onto his face. "I am. So. Ver. Extremely sorry." Inasa said, bowing so far down, his head hit the concrete, while his hat flew off his head from the momentum of the bow.

"Who is this guy, I do not trust his enthusiasm." Kaminari questioned.

"It's him." Aizawa said, recognizing the student.

"Hey look at their uniforms." Jiro said.

"They're from that famous school from the other side of Japan." Sero said.

"U.A, in the East, Shiketsu in the West." Bakugo exclaimed.

"So, what's with Shiketsu?" Ruby inquired.

"Eh? Oh right, you're not aware of all our world's affairs." Bakugo exclaimed. "Basically, Shiketsu is the Western side of Japans version of U.A. Their hero course actually rivals that of our own."

"I see." Ruby said.

"I wanted to say it just once. See, I really love U.A High School, I am extremely honored to compete against such incredible students." Inasa exclaimed, as blood poured from the wound on his head. "I'm so looking forward to it."

"Whoa, blood." The girl in the Shiketsu uniform exclaimed.

"Let's go." The purple haired boy said.

"Inasa Yoarashi." Aizawa stated.

"Do you know that guy Mr. Aizawa?" Toru asked.

"Indeed, he's strong." Aizawa said, causing his class to gasp. "He's the same year as you all, and received the top scores for students accepted through recommendations, but for some unknown reason, he turned down his acceptance to U.A, went to Shiketsu."

"Wait, he's our age?" Ruby inquired. "But if he had the top scores for those with recommendations, then wouldn't that make him, better than dual elemental student?" Ruby asked, looking to Todoroki.

"Hold on is anyone else confused here? This guy says that he loves our school, but he turned down his chance to enrol when it was offered?" Sero asked.

"Yeah, what a weirdo." Mina said.

"Well, it could be that there's someone at U.A, he doesn't like, and felt that if they went to the same school, it would cause nothing but problems for both him, the student, and the school if they constantly got into conflicts." Weiss theorized.

"That's actually a valid point, and reasoning as to why he might have turned it down. But with that being said, it must have been someone in the recommendations group, because the exams for the recommended students, was the only time before the school year began, that he or any of the others stepped foot onto the campus." Aizawa stated. "Still though, that doesn't change the fact that he's the real deal, keep an eye on him."

"Eraser?" A woman's voice called out, causing the sleep deprived hero to freeze up, before he straightened his posture, and gained a look of annoyance. "I'd know that scowl anywhere. I saw you on T.V and at the Sports Festival, but it's been a while since we've been this close in person."

"She looks familiar." Ruby stated.

"Let's get married." The green haired woman said gesturing her finger between her and Aizawa.

"No."

This impromptu proposal caused Mina's heart to pound as she was a sucker for romance.

"You're a real laugh riot, buddy." She said, laughing while turning away.

"As usual you're impossible, Joke." Aizawa stated.

"Oh now I recognize her, that's Ms. Joke, the Smile Hero." Ruby smiled. "Her Quirk is Outburst, she forces people around her to laugh which affects their ability to think and keeps them from being able to move. Her fights against villains are always full of insanity."

"You're starting to nerd out like Deku, how do you know so much about all the heroes of our world if you're not from it?" Bakugo asked.

"Hmm? Oh, that's easy, in order to make our backstories believable, I did a ton of research on a lot of heroes, which I became fans of quite a lot of them, Ms. Joke being one of them." Ruby said.

"Come one imagine it. If I was your wife, you'd have a future full of constant laughter." Ms. Joke said, giving Eraser a thumbs up.

"That sounds like an actual nightmare." Aizawa said, causing Ms. Joke to laugh.

"It seems like you two are close." Tsu exclaimed. "Our agencies are near each other, as young heroes striving to make a difference in the world, a mutual love bloomed."

"No it didn't." Aizawa stated.

"I do, Mr. Quick Retorts." Ms. Joke smiled. "You're my favorite person to tease future husband."

"So Joke." Aizawa said, ignoring her last comment. "If you're here, then that must mean…"

"That's right." Ms. Joke said, before turning to the students coming her way. "Over here everyone, this is U.A."

"Oh whoa, it really is Class-A." A black haired student stated.

"Oh wow, it's so amazing. I've seen them on T.V before." A blonde haired girl, with her hair looking like Bakugo's mask accessories, exclaimed patting her classmate's shoulder.

"Seconds Years, from Ketsubutsu Academy." Ms. Joke smiled. "This is Class-2, they're my students."

"Hey I'm Shindo, seems like U.A's had a lot of trouble this year, must have been tough for you." The black haired kid said grabbing Ruby's hands.

"I'm gonna stop you right there Mr. Grabby." Ruby said pulling her hands away. "Your face might say you're wanting to be friendly, but you're eyes give you away. You're wanting to size us up so you can crush us." Ruby stated.

"Hey Todoroki, can I have your autograph? You were so cool at the Sports Festival." The blonde girl said.

"Uh…" Todoroki didn't know how to respond to that, even more so as Weiss was giving the girl a look that she didn't even notice, but Todoroki could sense the hostile intent behind those eyes.

"Seriously Nakagame? Stop fangirling over him." Another boy in the academy uniform said.

"Hold on, where's All Might's Granddaughter, I wanted her autograph to." Nakagame said looking among the U.A Students.

"She's right Eraser, I don't see that star pupil of yours anywhere." Ms. Joke said. "Was she forbidden from taking the exams as a first year because of her actual age?"

"No, nothing like that." Aizawa said.

"What was it then, tell me." Ms. Joke said.

"She's off doing work studies with the Rabbit Hero Mirko." Aizawa explained.

"Wait, if she's doing work studies already, doesn't that means she's got her provisional license?" Shindo questioned.

"She does." Aizawa said.

"How did that happen?" Nakagame asked, looking and sounding desperate to know.

"She took down the S-Class Villain Muscular in front of the examiners of the Training Camp, the Wild-Wild-Pussycats, showing impressive skill and strength in both combat, and civilian safety as she rescued, and kept safe Mandalay's second cousin Kota, while also keeping the other villains attacking the camp, away from the injured and weakened. Not to mention that had caused Mandalay, to see her cousin's death as avenged, since Muscular had killed Kota's parents." Aizawa explained, leaving everyone from Ketsubutsu Academy shocked, even Ms. Joke was speechless. Aizawa took this opportunity, to his advantage. "All right 1-A, look alive. Grab your costumes and head for orientation."

"Yessir." The class exclaimed.

~Orientation Hall~

"Look at this crowd." Ruby exclaimed as they were all dressed in their hero costumes, surrounded by other schools and hero course students.

"There are so many." Uraraka said.

"Ugh… Okay then, let's do this exam thing." A tired voice said gaining all their attentions. "I'm from uh… the Hero's Public Safety Commission, name's Mera. My Circadian Rhythm is all screwed up, aw man. I've been swamped lately and I haven't gotten much rest. We're too short staffed, I'm so tired. With that confession, I'll now begin orientation."

"I'm thinking this guy could use a vacation to Hawaii, before he loses his marbles." Ruby said, looking a tad concerned.

"So about the content of this license thing. Basically 1,540 examinees compete in a free for all exercise, or whatever we're calling it this year." Mera stated.

"Seriously? That's not a lot of info." Sero exclaimed.

"See, we've got a lot of pros around, and since Stain was arrested, many people have expressed doubts in heroes of society." Mera sighed.

"He's talking about Stain's convictions. The idea that most pros aren't worthy of the name hero, that the only things they're after are fame and fortune." Weiss said. "The Hero Killer, is still affecting our world."

"But, when you really think about it, getting paid makes sense. If you're going to risk your life to save someone, why shouldn't you ask for a reward, huh? That's just the way the world works. God I could use a coffee." Mera exclaimed. "Anyway, whether they're in it for compensation, or a sense of duty, we've got too many heroes working in the streets these days to keep villains at bay. Honestly, the time between when an incident begins, and when it's resolved is ridiculously short. You are all here trying to receive your provisional licenses, so you'll be swept up in this tiresome mess yourselves pretty soon. Those of you, who don't have the speed, frankly just won't cut it. Which is why that's what you'll be tested on." The instant Mera said that, the screen behind him showed that the first test was that only 100 people will be able to pass. "The first hundred students to fulfill the requirements will pass today."

"There are over fifteen hundred people taking this test, I thought they said that about half of us would be passing?" Momo questioned.

"This means the actuality of the exam, is less than one percent will pass and get a license." Weiss exclaimed, speaking Tsu's thoughts.

"Oh man, I'm getting way more nervous." Jiro said.

"Well the world can be pretty crappy. I suppose I should say something about luck." Mera said, standing up. "So anyway, here are the basic rules. The examinee will put three of these targets on his or her body, they can go anywhere you want, as long as it's an exposed area, so no souls of the feet or armpits. Each of you will also have six of these balls. The targets are programed to light up whenever they've been touched by the balls. If all three targets light up, you're out. Oh, and the person who lights up your third target will get credit for your defeat. You get through this round, by taking down two people. Got it, good. What else? Uh, I guess we'll start passing out the targets and balls. Then you'll have a few minutes to get situated after we open."

"Open?" Todoroki questioned before the building began to shake, as the walls and ceiling came apart like a cardboard box opening and flattening on its own.

The outside revealed several different areas similar to the USJ's Layout, but had an increasingly higher amount of space, and more areas to be taken into account.

"I'm sure each of you have different terrains that you like or want to avoid. Use your Quirks well, and do your best, or not, whatever." Mera sighed.

'This is so unnecessary.' Ruby thought as Mera stood up.

"Yes I know, it makes for a great reveal, doesn't it?" Mera questioned. "An' for what? So much sleep loss for this. Hopefully some of these kids are fast and we can get this over with, until then I'm gonna rest my eyes."

Up in the stands, Aizawa was in a bit of an annoyed mood.

"Eraser." Joke said trying to hold in a laugh. "Your fly is down."

'Why is it that I can't find a moment of peace and quiet in my life?' Aizawa questioned.

"I can't believe you still have twenty students. Let alone little over that. It's unusual for you not to have expelled someone." Joke exclaimed. "You must actually like your class this time."

"Not really. An' to be honest, I already had two students this year who took the early graduation exam, both passing with flying colors." Aizawa stated.

"Ah, don't be embarrassed, that's so like you." Joke laughed. "Please date me."

"Shut up." Aizawa said, causing Joke to laugh even more.

"But really, you know what about to happen down there. An' yet, you didn't mention a thing to your class." Joke said, looking at him with a knowing gleam in her eye.

Back down in the arena every student was running for different terrains.

'If the first people to finish the exam win, then no one will go after their classmates. The best way to win is to team up with people whose powers you already know.' Ruby thought. "Everyone, stay close together, we'll fight them as a group." She said, earning confirmations from Uraraka and Iida.

"Yeah right. Sorry babe, but this isn't a field trip." Bakugo said before running off.

"Idiot, wait up." Kirishima said as he ran after him.

"Bakugo you get back here, or so help me I'll stop making you my special rice cakes." Ruby shouted at him, only to be ignored.

"I'm going on my own to." Todoroki said. "It's hard for me to use my powers safely when a big group's around."

"Don't worry, I'll be right behind him." Weiss said as they both left.

"Todoroki, Weiss." Ruby groaned.

"Rose, there's no time. Let's go." Mineta stated.

"How did you get out of the ice block Weiss trapped you in for peeping on the girl's locker room before orientation?" Ruby questioned.

"I have a built in heater as part of my upgrades for my costume." Mineta said, before he felt a ball press on all three of his sensors.

"There, I got my first person." Ruby said as Mineta began to cry dramatically at her betraying them.

"Rose, how could you do that to a fellow classmate?" Iida asked.

"He's a perverted little troll who's only interest in becoming a hero, is building his own harem. I did society a favor." Ruby stated.

"She is ruthless." Sato exclaimed.

"That's a born and raised Huntress woman for ya." Momo stated.

Back in the stands, Ms. Joke was watching the students keenly with Aizawa sitting a few seats away from her.

"Every year, the test is different, but one thing's always the same. It's kind of like a tradition during the licensing exam." Joke exclaimed.

Back in the arena.

"I still don't think it's a good idea for them to go off on their own." Ruby stated.

"Why's that?" Uraraka questioned.

"Think about it. Everyone already knows what powers we have, thanks to the Sports Festival." Ruby exclaimed.

Back in the seats.

"Most of the students who compete in the exam, have pretty equal footing, except for one school. U.A comes in at a severe disadvantage, because the top school's sports festival is broadcast across the country, show off not just your students Quirks, but their weaknesses and fighting styles to. Kind of funny, isn't it?"

Back in the arena.

"The other schools have probably figured out the same way to win, that I have." Ruby stated. "This is most likely going to end up being a battle between schools, but with one key difference. They're likely to gang up against Quirks they already know."

"Does that mean?" Mina asked.

"Don't tell me." Jiro confirmed.

The sound the horn going off, signaled the start of the exam.

"The first test will now begin." One of the examiners declared.

Back in the seats.

"If you like your class this year, then you should have warned your students about all of this." Joke stated. "We've seen it time and time again in this exam. U.A, is immediately crushed."

"So you think we'll be taken out?" Aizawa questioned. "I don't really see a reason why I should have warned them. I doubt anything would have changed if I had. They're still going to have to overcome this either way. Real heroes could turn this situation around. Besides, if they become pros, they'll face villains who already know their Quirks. Perhaps at U.A, we look a little further ahead than other schools. We go beyond, Plus Ultra style."
