Zane jumped back from Aspheera, ice spraying from his hands. Don't touch him! Suddenly, Zane tensed up. There's got to be more!

Near him, Jay gasped with excitement. "How did you do that!?" The blue ninja's hands were clenched with apprehension. Zane ignored him and took a step towards the frozen pyro snakes. His hand tightly gripped the pole that the scroll was tied to; his source of strength.

Wu took a step towards Zane. "Zane," he gently, but gravely commanded. "Give me the scroll." Zane froze. But, the power and the snakes! "Please Zane," Wu urged, his eyes showing concern. Zane sighed. Fine, I'll take them on without the scroll.

As Zane went in to give Wu the scroll, the nindroid sensed movement. A splitting zap was heard and within the next few moments, Zane dived in front of Wu. It felt familiar. The power bolt hit him instead of Wu and Zane's sight was purged by purple light. It was enough to make Zane drop the scroll. Zane closed his eyes when he realized that the scroll made him go way too far.

Upon, opening his eyes, the titanium ninja realized he had to answer another question before he could analyze his situation. He wasn't dead again, so where was he? He scanned the cold, frosty environment, only to gain no insight on where he was. The only thing he recognized, was the mech from the battle. At least the staff wasn't lethal, the nindroid reasoned.

Then, his eyes fell to the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu nearby. He'd have to take it with him. Zane understood that the scroll might not be as important as the Golden Weapons were, but it was too powerful for even him. Power corrupts, he reflected as he remembered the incident with Kai and the staff of elements.

Forcing himself to stay in control, Zane picked up the scroll and walked further into this unknown land that, unbeknownst to Zane, was the Never Realm.
