WARNING: This fic assumes that you have at least watched Isekai Quartet. This is still a crossover with four different series, however, so THERE WILL BE SPOILERS.

The format of this fic will consist of episodic short stories in a loose continuity, with the loads and loads of characters and maybe the occasional serious arc thrown in.

Basically, Gintama.

In the setting of this fic, all the chibi spinoffs (Pure Pure Pleadies, Youjo Shenki, etc.) are canon unless otherwise stated. Some liberties may be taken with with the mechanics.

Overlord comes in post volume 13

Tanya the Evil comes in just after volume 3 but before the events of volume 4 proper

Konosuba is intentionally vague so that I may draw shenanigans from the entire series.

Re:Zero takes place towards the end of volume 9, with a slightly changed ending to at least delay arc 4 collapsing on Rem.

May be prone to change.

This fic is primarily practice for my writing, to knock off the suck so to say, so updates will be irregular. Given that I work a lot of overtime, and nights, this may be a while between chapters.

Constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated.

AtheistBasementDragon, if you are reading this, know that I acknowledge your challenge, and raise you a published fic.

With that out of the way, onto the story!

Ainz considered his dilemma.

He had come across some rather interesting intel the other day. At first, he dismissed it as irrelevant.

He soon found the thought would not leave him. As the days went on, it would echo in his head, and with it, the desire to act upon the implications. It grew more and more appealing by the hour. If he decided to act upon the hypothesis he formed with the intel, it would indirectly confirm numerous other theories he was never able to test before.

Even when safe within the walls of Nazarick, his vassals never left him without an escort of some sort, be it the maids or the Eight Edge Assassins. Because of this, time to himself was always at a premium and incredibly hard to come by. It was maddening to feel their eyes, full of nothing but pure admiration, staring at him day in and day out. He would always second guess himself under their gaze, wondering if was sorting through his documents fast enough, or if he had seated in the manner befitting of a king.

He couldn't send them away because of the incredible distress it caused them, and it made him feel bad that he would make them believe they'd done something to displease him when it was entirely not their fault. He would simply have to endure.

One of these days I'm going to put my foot down and enforce vacation time.

Now that he had found himself in this strange new world, he had a lot more personal freedom and a surplus of free time. Here, he was not the Sorcerer King, but a student attending High School - something Ainz never thought he'd ever get to see from the inside.

One could even go so far as to call this a vacation.

With that in mind, he now found himself in a position where he could act upon his current thoughts. It was only he and the floor guardians, and with the conclusion that any violence would lead to dire consequences, it shouldn't be too hard to convince them that it was safe enough to go out and about without an escort.

Hmm. Actually…

Dark sockets ignited, red flames observing their surroundings: a clean stereotypical japanese classroom that looked straight out of an old anime, complete with stereotypical school grounds and wall visible from the window. His fellow students, consisting of his Floor Guardians, a strange and poorly geared adventurer party, military mages led by a terrifying eleven year old girl, and what appeared to be a normal japanese boy accompanied by a colorful array of females.

Now that he thought about it, the circumstances could not be better. They were no longer in the Sorcerous Kingdom, and therefore separated from their various duties; if Ainz was no longer the Sorcerer King, then Albedo was no longer the Prime Minister, Cocytus wasn't the Governor of the lizardmen, and so on. This was the best chance he was ever going to have at making them take anything resembling time off.

Course of action decided, the skeleton once again returned to his previous train of thought.

The risks involved with the plan he'd slowly been formulating as the days went on certainly weren't negligible, but they were by and far the lowest they've ever been and possibly would be. So long as he took the proper precautions, Ainz was certain he'd never get caught in the act.

Ainz finally made up his mind. If he passed up on this golden opportunity, he would never forgive himself.

Now certain of his actions, Ainz began the first stage of his plan.

When they were initially displaced, whatever method used to transport them teleported everything that happened to be in the Throne Room at the time, which consisted of him, the Floor Guardians… and a pair of the only permanent high tier undead he'd managed to create so far - [Windshadows]. He reached out through the ethereal connection he had with all his undead summons and issued his orders.

Both of you, go and scout the town. He felt his creations give acknowledgement. Soon, he could no longer detect their presence as they drifted off to do his bidding.

[Windshadows] were rather interesting undead in that, functionally speaking, they weren't actually undead so much as simply categorized as such by the game. Introduced rather late into Yggdrasil's development cycle, [Windshadows] made their debut in the Valkyrie's Downfall expansion in a rare case of the developers listening to player feedback.

Some time in the past, the low tier undead [Wraith] and their mid tier counterpart [High Wraith] were compatible with the spell [Undeath Slave Sight], and made for some very effective scouts due to their ability to phase through walls and hide in shadows. The Devs quickly caught on and patched it out of the game.

Players voiced their discontent, and for the longest time their requests to restore the ability went ignored. This wasn't unusual for the Shitty Devs, as their reputation had been well established by then.

It was why the players were surprised when it got out that a new monster was added into the game that filled the same niche the thereby dubbed 'Jeepers Peepers' strategy filled, save better. The [Whisper Hound] was an artificial undead elemental created when the remaining natural energy left behind by a deceased wind elemental came into contact with negative energy.

A level 40 monster, the mid tier summon quickly exploded in popularity. The undead construct was almost purely stealth based, and as it was originally an elemental, it possessed an ability to boost its chances of evading detection by 'blending in' with the natural energy of the land, on top of being able to phase through walls and be a valid target for [Undeath Slave Sight]. It was also rather cheap to summon, simply requiring the fifth tier spell [Summon Undead 5th].

In exchange for the boosted stealth and reintroduction of an intangible summon compatible with the spell, the monster had absolutely no attack capability whatsoever and moved somewhat slowly, as well as being detectable through a sensation similar to a cold breeze one experienced when one was in the general vicinity. When it was actually detected through any methods magical or otherwise, its stealth buff became a massive debuff. The detection disrupts it's magical makeup, slaying the creature immediately. Due to its unstable nature, it only had an active duration of about 5 minutes before it faded.

The [Windshadow] was its high tier counterpart and of the same creature family, far more restricted in how it could be summoned. A level 90 undead exclusively based on stealth and nothing else, one could say it was an incredibly overclocked [Whisper Hound]. Its variant of the natural energy stealth skill was such that only a high level druid or sensory type entity could detect it, and even then the method used needs to be a far higher tier than what would detect its mid tier variant. They were notably faster and did not expire immediately upon detection, nor did they have a short active period.

This time the Shitty Devs made the decision to make such a powerful monster cost a lot more in resources one must expend to summon them. For starters, unlike the [Whisper Hound], they could not be directly summoned through any means save through the skill [Create High Tier Undead] or it's druid counterpart [Create High Tier Elemental]. Even then, it could only be created with the undead skill if the user had undergone the [Rite of Darkness] needed to compound the slots required for a level 90 summon.

The other method was to summon ten [Whisper Hounds] and use their hidden skill to combine into one entity. While [Summon Undead 5th] was a fifth tier spell it was on the higher end of mana costs within its tier, and to cast it ten times wasn't an amount of mana a caster would spend without deliberation.

It was through the second method Ainz managed create permanent [Windshadows]. When experimenting with the various undead and the corpses he used to create them, he found that the summon duration of a [Whisper Hound] was negated through the use of a corpse like the rest of his undead creations.

After that discovery, it was only a short leap in logic to assume its high tier variant would also be permanent if he combined the hounds. Ten corpses and a few hours of observation later, Ainz now had access to exceptional scouts. No small number of them went to his borders to aid the ghost ship in border patrol.

The guardians knew he had them, but never knew where they were and never saw need to learn the specifics. Ainz doubted they knew about the two he always kept in his general vicinity. He never expected this to actually benefit him someday; since they were not aware of the summons, he could freely send them out to follow up on the intel he obtained and scout out his potential targets with them entirely none the wiser.

He felt bad going around the guardians like this, but he really didn't want them to know what he was up to.

With the first step initiated, Ainz turned his attention back to class and the book in his hands. High School was very expensive after all; he wasn't going to let his free education go to waste.

A few days later and ample abuse of [Undeath Slave Sight], Ainz felt he'd done enough reconnaissance and prepared to move on his selected target.

As the final Supreme Being and the ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick (isekai'd or not), he still had a certain level of responsibility in maintaining his image. Only the Major von Degurechaff knew the truth, and while he had his suspicions on the other two probably japanese boys, he would rather play it safe.

He needed to be very careful in the next few steps on his plan.

His skull turned to the clock and took note of the time. Class is just about over. The Overlord psyched himself up for what was next. This would be by far the trickiest part. He took the final few minutes of class to go back over the steps.

The bell rang, and after Instructor Lergen gave them a final reminder on the subject for the next class and the reading they needed to cover, the students all packed up what few things they brought with them and left the classroom.

They took the usual path to return to the fortress Ainz summoned as their home base. Along the way, he took note of the little details.

After the incident with the crazy goddess, the guardians stepped up their vigil. Whenever they returned to base, Albedo and Shalltear would make a point to stay in front of his person at all times, with Cocytus right beside them. Aura and Mare, standing at his direct sides, would keep an eye on their surroundings using their superior detection skills to make sure no other interlopers could sneak up on them like the first time. Demiurge took up the rear.

Ainz was also certain he caught sight of a small, yellow furred critter following some distance behind them. He decided to ignore it.

It appeared that the guardians felt responsible for what happened the first time, and this bothered him to no end. It was especially bad that they couldn't have been at fault in any way whatsoever - after all, there was no indication that blue haired woman would attack them anyways, never mind her baffling effectiveness in doing so.

It was time to put and end to this. Seeing them so tense when they could take this chance to relax stressed him out. He'd have to be very careful in how he went about; their heightened caution would make them harder to convince.

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, he cleared his throat, catching their attention. "I've come across some rather interesting intelligence the other day. There is something I wish to confirm."

"In that case, let us accompa-"

He cut Albedo off. "No. I apologize, but this is something I must do on own. Return to base without me"

"But Ainz-sama, you've already been attacked once. It was our carelessness that caused you harm. I could never forgive myself if harm befalls you again when it is within my power to prevent it!" At Albedo's fervent declaration, Ainz took a close look at each of their faces.

"Hm. I see. Is this how you all feel?" He was met with fervent nodding, the rest of the guardians agreeing with their Overseer. They'd even gone so far as to arm themselves as of late, bordering on the verge of excessive. "What happened the other day was no fault of your own. If anything, I am the one at fault. I was careless in our surroundings." A beat. "After all, something about this world feels very familiar."

Something about that caught Demiurge's attention. The Archdevil moved up from his rear position to address his liege. "Ainz-sama, while I would not dare to assume your thoughts, are you saying you've been to this world before?"

"U-umu." While Demiurge's query caught him off guard, it was a perfect opportunity to steer the conversation to his desired subject. I need to be very careful here. "No. This world is completely new to me. However, the attributes of it are familiar. I have a theory, and the answer will carry great significance in what we do there on out."

While Abledo gained a pensive look and the rest of the guardians seemed to contemplate the implications of that statement, Demiurge appeared to reach an epiphany. "Ah. I see."

"Hoh? That 'thing', is it?"

"Yes, that thing!"

"...that thing!"

"Yes!"

...seriously, what thing?

Well, no matter. For once, Ainz had anticipated Demiurge would unintentionally give him the run-around.

"Hmm. I see." Ainz said, rubbing his chin and stressing the final word. He felt bad at having to shatter that belief for once, but he had to stop this now before it got out of hand. This time he could get away with his plan being blatantly different. I'm sorry, Demiurge, but this time, its for your own good.

Something in the way Ainz said that made Demiurge suddenly feel uneasy. "Ainz-sama?"

"...Demiurge. Your ability to predict my plan has been impeccable thus far, but for once I am sad to inform you that your assumption could not be farther off."

The demon recoiled, as if struck, and stumbled back some uneasy steps. "B-but how could… Ainz-sama, forgive your servant for his gross incompetence!" He knelt down and bowed his head as he spoke, taking a submissive posture.

Seeing Demiurge's completely crestfallen and flustered demeanor as well as the guardians' undisguised shock as hearing that the smartest and best at 'divining his plan' among them being openly shot down made Ainz add a quick amendment to his words.

"U-Umu. It's not your fault, Demiurge. There is nothing to forgive. Circumstances being what they are, perhaps it'd be better to say you are half wrong."

A glimmer of hope appeared in the demon's crystalline eyes as he looked up at Ainz. "H-half wrong, my Lord?"

"Correct. It would be better to say that you did not fail in foreseeing my plan, but how many of them I have. You simply cannot have had the same information I do. Therefor, you could not have known I had two plans, both completely unrelated from each other. The way things are, it's looking more and more likely the first one will have to be scrapped altogether."

"Ahh... To only assume the Supreme One had just a single plan of events… how foolish of me. I cannot touch even the soles of your vast intellect, and to assume I was closing the gap was the height of folly. Sasuga, Ainz-sama. I will not make this mistake again!"

Er, wait a minute. I don't like the sound-

"However, this still leaves me at a woeful disadvantage. To have been so far off..." Demiurge faltered.

Ainz' words must have shaken the demon more than he thought; it was unlike Demiurge to be at such a loss for words.

Had Ainz not had his emotions regulated, Demiurge's next words would have give him a panic attack. "If I may be so bold to ask, in order to perform your will better, as my own capability to do so is now in doubt, would you please impart even just a little of your vast design upon this humble servant?"

The devil's unexpected query brought immediate reactions from all present.

"Uwah!"

"Demiurge!?"

"D-Demuirge!"

"How dare you question the will of the Supreme One!?"

"It. Is. Not. Our. Place-"

"You're too noisy! Quiet down!" In this surprising development, Ainz fell back on 'Royal Silence #3' in an attempt to settle things down and buy time to scramble for an answer.

He asked directly!? Crap, I didn't expect that at all! What do I say? I don't actually have an answer for what the second plan was because I didn't expect him to ask! How can I just tell him there isn't… one…

And just like that, the perfect answer came to him.

First, to address their agitation. Ainz looked at the kneeling devil, and addressed the crowd. "Now then. First off, there is nothing wrong with seeking help if you aren't sure of what to do. This goes for the rest of you as well."

He took a moment to appreciate the fact that as a skeleton he could not choke on his hypocrisy.

"Secondly, to answer your question," Ainz continued, "the plan, is that there is no plan."

His words were met with blank looks.

Then Ainz dropped another bombshell on them. He rubbed his chin and leaned closer to them, as if inspecting them. "When was the last time any of you had a vacation?"

Another wave of reactions.

"Ainz-sama!?"

"Have we displeased you?"

"It. Is. Our. Duty. To. Serve-"

"We are but the humble servants of the Supreme-"

The Overlord could not let that golden opportunity pass. He cut them off amidst their protests. "Yes, exactly. You are all my servants, not slaves. I will not tolerate slavery in any part of the Sorcerous Kingdom. Not in E-Rantel, not in the Baharuth Empire, not even within Nazarick itself. I will not see myself or any under me guilty of that vile practice." Red flames contemplated the crowd in front of him. "I deeply appreciate your devotion and hard work, but I wish to see you rewarded for all of your efforts in a manner beyond 'the honor of serving'. This strange world is the perfect opportunity for that."

He took a deep breath and another moment to gather his thoughts, mentally sighing at how difficult this was. To have a battle of words with the Guardians was tricky, and he wanted to make sure there would be no misunderstandings in his intentions, his earlier slip up with the number of plans notwithstanding.

That was definitely going to bite him in the ass later. Better not worry about that right now.

"As I mentioned earlier, there is a theory I must confirm before we go about this. Based on all the evidence, I suspect this world is a Hub World." Ainz said.

"A- a hub world?" Mare asked. The poor elf child looked more and more lost as the conversation went on, his sister and the rest of the guardians not faring much better. At least Demiurge returned to his feet when Ainz gestured for him to stand.

"Umu. It seems I must elaborate" Ainz said, rubbing his chin again and recalling what he came up with. He was very glad he took the time beforehand to prepare this explanation. "As you know, there are many different worlds out there, and they all fall into general categories and have their own rules.

"Hub Worlds are interesting realms, distinct in that they usually aren't a standalone world. Rather, they are a place where several congregate together and bleed into one place. They are worlds where denizens from multiple realms gather, like the various members of our class. Each of our four factions comes from a different world. Due to the crossover, Hub Worlds fall under truce: visitors are not allowed to attack one another or otherwise engage in any sort of malicious activity, as they are places of peace and communication. The breaking of this law is a great taboo, one I refuse to entertain." He gave them a significant look. "Should I prove to be correct in my assumption, this goes for the rest of you as well. It is why it is particularly important I confirm this before we take any other action."

He gauged their reactions, which took the form of varying degrees of understanding and curiosity. It made sense; this was the first time he openly spoke of 'other worlds' and his experiences in them. No doubt it would confirm a number of Albedo and Demiurge's theories.

"It seems that outside of that archpriest, the rest of our class understands this. She was probably just uninformed, and Satou-san stepped in to keep her in line. Beyond that, no other faction has caused incident and they appear to be making an effort in refraining from doing so."

"Wait, so does that mean the others are Supreme Beings?"

Eh? Aura's sudden question caught Ainz completely off guard. The others were supreme beings?

Before he could open his mouth to throw out the first denial that came to mind, he came to a sudden epiphany. By their definition, supreme beings were entities who had the power to transverse between worlds (play video games) and take different forms throughout the realms (make player avatars).

On top of that, when considering his own circumstance, Suzuki Satoru was normal guy that suddenly found his body replaced with that of Momonga and no longer had the ability to 'log out', nor the ability to 'cross worlds at will'. Caught up in his dilemma, he was forced to step up into the role of the Overlord of Nazarick.

Major Degurechaff was in a very similar situation: average salaryman suddenly trapped in another body and world due to circumstances completely beyond their control and forced to step up into a role vastly different from what they were used to in order to survive.

By their definition and his own experience, Tanya might as well be a supreme being.

With that logic in mind, he made his answer. "After speaking with her and learning of her past, I can say with certainty that Major Degurechaff is indeed a supreme being, though not one I ever met in Yggdrasil. I cannot say anything about the others, though I have my own suspicions about Satou-san and Natsuki-san. They all understand this place is not one for conflict and keep themselves in line.

"We are all relatively certain of this fact, but I wish to confirm it myself to be certain. Once I determine it is perfectly safe, I will feel much better letting you all go about as you please." His eyed each and every one of them, speaking his next words as if he was already certain of the outcome. "Once it is confirmed, think of what you wish to do. Pick up a hobby for yourselves, make some friends from outside Nazarick. Relax, and enjoy yourselves."

It took some more finagling, but Ainz finally convinced the Guardians that it was safe enough for him to go off alone after he summoned a pair of [Eternal Deaths] to guard him just in case, and even managed to get them thinking about what they could do with themselves when Nazarick was not involved. Ainz was happy he finally got through to them.

Whenever they would work tirelessly in pursuit of his plans, Ainz always felt bad. He would always imagine the greedy corporations he and his guildmates worked for, and the poor, sagging form of HeroHero, exhausted from overwork. Even if they claimed otherwise, he refused to let himself become a slave driver who demanded much from one's employees and offered little in return.

Figuring out how to enforce this once they returned to their own world was another issue for another day. At the very least, this set a precedent for future incidents.

The first thing he did once he left the guardians to return by themselves was to raise his scrying protections and layer a few more anti-information spells. One could never be too careful - 'Scry and Die' was a powerful and common tactic back in Yggdrasil, after all.

After a happy accident involving the imperials and their computation orbs' magic detection feature, he'd taken to keeping his scrying protections lowered whenever he was outside of Nazarick's temporary base. Thankfully no one died, but the sheer number of broken bones and ruptured organs convinced him to lay more caution when he used his barrier.

At least that crazy goddess healed them all, and no one ever found out what actually happened or who was responsible.

Once the scrying protection was cast, he marked the clearing of the random park he was in. This locale was rarely frequented, and where he stood in particular was out of the way from the common area. Here, he laced a few more area-targeted scrying protections, like [Wall of Anti-Information] and [Deny Vision]. When those spells were set, he moved onto his main payload. "[Greater Magic Seal], [Greater Teleportation]. [Perfect Unknowable]."

Now invisible and inaudible, he reached into his inventory and pulled out two gold coins, keeping them at the ready. Preparations complete, he made his way to his selected target.

Of the undead summons he had tailing him, he sent one [Windshadow] and one [Eternal Death] each to scout ahead and make sure none of the others would catch him doing this, while commanding the two others to remain at the park. He wanted to be certain that this would remain confidential until he either confirmed his theory and refined the method, or pretend this never happened in the event of a negative outcome.

His summons confirmed the area was clear and the target was unprotected. Despite himself, his hopes began to rise. If this turned out to be feasible, his quality of life would improve dramatically.

Ten minutes of walking later, he entered the same vicinity his undead stood vigil over, and confirmed for himself that the info was good. Further heartened, he turned his gaze directly towards his target:

A Yakisoba Stand.

He held his gold coins at the ready. Thank you for the intel, Tanya-san! Man, food like this was incredibly rare and expensive back in my Japan. Only the super rich could eat food like that.

He probed at the mental link to the undead he left back at the designated fallback location, and asked them if the marked location was still secure. The information they sent back left him satisfied. He then sent back the two undead currently with him to join the others.

After one final check of the perimeter, Ainz prepared himself.

He got into position, and broke into a quick sprint. As soon as he came into reaching distance, he grabbed one of the prepared platters off the counter of the stand, and in the same motion dropped off the two gold coins in exchange for the meal. A moment later, he released his stored spell and got out of there with the stand owner none the wiser. "[Greater Magic Seal], Release!"

The moment he reappeared in the obscure park location he had marked earlier, he recast [Perfect Unknowable] and immediately had all four of his summons expand their security net. He waited a few minutes for the all clear before he proceeded.

All obstacles overcome, he finally returned his attention to his prize: a yakisoba pan platter consisting of three sandwiches

Back when he was simply Suzuki Satoru, an everyday salaryman, he was only able to accrue the bare essentials of what one needed to survive, and even then he would only make the minimum effort, choosing to only ever eat various disgusting 'meat' flavored gels complemented with nutrient pills to meet his nutritional needs. Anything more grew more and more expensive the better taste one sought, and real food was something strictly enjoyed by the rich.

He enjoyed food such as what he held less times in his life than the number of fingers on one hand. The last time he consumed anything like it was when his mother was still alive.

He contemplated his next issue. Back in Yggdrasil, various races such as the undead were unable to eat or drink as a racial trait. I have no reason to believe that has changed, but… The only senses one could experience in a DMMO were sight, touch, and sound. Now that I am my avatar, I've also gained the ability to smell. All that, and without the anatomy to support it.

It was that last thought in particular that led him to his current theory: if he could see without eyes, smell without a nose, hear without ears, and feel without nerves… Who's to say he couldn't taste without a tongue?

Because of the other complications that followed, he never tested this out properly. After all, it was completely unbefitting for one of his standing to make a complete mess of themselves when eating, splattering half chewed food across his bones and robes. He would never live down the embarrassment if anyone saw him do what he was about to attempt. It was for this reason he never tried before now, especially since back in the New World the denizens of Nazarick made sure he was never alone.

It certainly took a while, but now there was no one, not even the denizens of Nazarick, to accompany him. With his free hand, he reached for the first sandwich. The smell alone was incredibly tantalizing, and had he still salivary glands, he was sure he would be drooling in anticipation. He brought the morsel up to his jaws, and after a final moment of hesitation, opened his mouth. What followed surprised even him.

I CAN TASTE! He could no longer contain his elation, and began ravenously biting at the sandwich.

While the food fell from his jaw as he chewed, the short moments where they passed the place his tongue would be flooded him with an incredible mix of flavors he'd never experienced before. If anything, he felt that as an Overlord his sense of taste was stronger than what it was in life.

Vaguely, he registered that Nazarick could certainly prepare fare better than this, but he noted that that food had buffs cooked into it. While he could certainly enjoy his newfound ability to taste, he was still unable to actually ingest the food and by extension gain the buffs they contained, and he was loath to let it go to waste like that. Better to save it for those that could benefit more than he.

In his frenzy, one sandwich quickly became two, and two became three, and very soon he found himself with an empty platter. Once finished, he gave a deeply contented sigh. "Ahhhhh… That was amazing."

Then he looked down at his robes and was immediately grateful he went to such lengths to remain hidden. Embarrassed despite himself, he quickly cast a simple spell on himself to remove all of the shredded food staining his robes and body, cleaning himself up. He absentmindedly put the plate into his inventory.

Ill need to give Tanya-san proper thanks for the information she gave me. She said she loved coffee, would a batch of coffee grounds do the trick? Mmm, better get something fancy just in case, this world has to have something nice in its large selection. Or maybe some of those magic coffee beans I had Mare work on?

...Tabula would have loved to meet you...

Ainz brushed that thought aside.

While he had the undead out scouting, he was shocked at the sheer breadth of the food selection one had access to in this period.

To think that people could enjoy food like this whenever they wanted, all those years ago. It was incredible.

Now that he had confirmed his theory, his mind shifted to trying to find a means to refine the eating process and remove the mess. He grew lost in his thoughts. Maybe I could use [Telekinesis] to stop it from falling from my jaw. Ahh, but I'll need to come up with a way to get rid of it after I chew it… Maybe a low level fire spell?'

Ainz then remembered the guardians were waiting to hear back from him and his confirmation of his 'theory'. Now that his taste test was out of the way, he could simply tell the guardians he was right about this world. He cast [Message] and came in contact with Albedo, and shared his 'results'.

"Albedo, it appears that I was correct. This world is indeed a Hub World..."

To those of you that read this to the bottom, thank you for taking the time to read my story. As my first official foray into fanfiction (you cant prove that garbage I wrote as an edgy 12 year old was written by me), I hope this is good enough to bring enjoyment to any potential reader. Please leave a review and share your thoughts, I would love to hear back from all of you.

My hopeful goal of this fic is to get the TV Tropes entry of Isekai Quartet to form it's own fanfic recs tab and have this appear as it's first fic, or failing that, make it onto any of the four featured works' fanfic rec pages.

Next up is the Tanya the Evil series. After that is up in the air, as whatever I have next changes on the fly depending on what hits me on inspiration.
