Hours after experiencing one of the most irritating meetings in his lifetime, Loki sat on the floor in their tiny apartment and let out a loud sigh of frustration. Having offered his skills to Earth's Avengers as an act of atonement for his involvement in the Battle of New York weeks prior, he had expected the meeting to go well. That, unfortunately, was not to be the case as half of the members were late while the others refused to let him speak. Were all mortals like this?
Feeling a familiar warmth behind him as two arms wrapped themselves around his waist, Loki found himself mentally correcting his previous statement by recognizing that there were some exceptional mortals whose presence made life worthwhile; the one behind him number one in that statement. Reaching for and drawing one of the hands up to his lips, he softly kissed at a thumb. "I'm sorry I'm in such a foul mood, my dear."
"I noticed when you barged in and refused to look at me," Jane softly replied as she leaned into him. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Remind me why I offered to help them?," Loki said; a hint of sarcasm in his tone as he looked downward.
Drawing her arms away, Jane gradually scooted around Loki and cupped his face as soon as she was within reach. Raising his head up as she waited for him to look at her, she spoke with sincerity. "You did it because you're an amazing, wonderful person who truly wants to do the right thing. You're someone who went through hell and back and instead of wanting to part of destruction, you wholeheartedly want to be part of something meaningful and I love you for it."
As he listened to her speak, he could feel the tension from earlier slowly fading away; the result of her conviction as well as seeing him for who he was something that carried its own special magic. Offering her a smile filled with gratitude and adoration, Loki leaned in and closed the distance between the two of them by softly kissing her lips. The warmth of her lips held an equally special kind of magic as he continued to feel better as well as acknowledged and appreciated; feelings that were a constant in his relationship with Jane.
As the kiss continued, Jane slowly drew her hands upward until her fingers slid carefully in the dark, wavy locks of Loki's hair. She had been wanting to try this particular procedure, but with his recent involvement with the Avengers and her work, she wasn't able to try it out. When he came back from the meeting and seemed troubled, Jane knew it was time to make an attempt. Sinking her fingers in gently until she found his scalp, she proceeded to slowly massage the skin of his scalp. As she did so, she began to hear low, content filled moans that emanated from the God of Mischief before her.
Slowly pulling away from the kiss, Loki's eyelids remained closed as he let out another moan; pleasure soaring throughout his being. "Jane, what is this magic..?," he asked softly; his voice gradually lowering.
"It's a scalp massage," she replied as she continued; happiness at her accomplishment flooding her senses and causing her to smile.
"It's.. so wonderful. I love you so much for thinking of it. Keep it up," he purred.
And so she did; he even offering to do it to her to allow her the chance to feel as amazing as he felt.
End.
