Code Lyoko: Gateway

In 2016, the Kadic University had completed construction and was opening its doors to students. With top-of-the-range facilities, ranging from computer labs, music studio, a film studio. You name it, they've got it. A highly prestigious university, taking in students from all around the world. With on-sight accommodation

But obviously, you're not here to listen to me try and sell you on the university idea. You want to know the truth. What really happened. You want to know the truth about Xana. The truth about the Lyoko Warriors. Sadly, my memory core was corrupted and began to fragment, I don't know my determined mission, so I am following my prime directive of keeping the virus known as Xana from causing any more damage than has already been caused.

That was what the young Jeremie Belpois had programmed me to do. The ragtag team of Garage Kids fending off Xana. Fight after fight after fight after fight. He had told his team Xana was gone. They all thought they were safe. He lied to them.

He lied.

For two years, they all went on with their lives believing everything was fine. And it was. For the most part. Any attempt of harm by Xana, I had thwarted - at least that's what I can determine from records Jeremie had formed on an external drive to the Super-Computer. I have no personal data on these such events. The last modification to the files was made on the 31st of December 2013. There was no information within this file, and I was unable to find any public records of the Garage Kids.

Nothing on Jeremie Belpois.

Nothing on Odd Della Robia.

Nothing on Yumi Ishiyama.

Nothing on Ulrich Stern.

Nothing on William Dunbar.

Something on Aileta Schaeffer. A mostly corrupted message.

The message had forced my programming to initiate a shutdown of the Super-Computer, Lyoko and the factory power grid. For a sentient AI, you'd think to power everything down would put me to sleep or shut me down. Normally, it would. But a sub-network had been set up as a tangent to the factory. Part of my code made its way out, but not much of it. So a majority of my programming remains within the Super-Computer, whilst a portion of it attempts to rebuild itself to re-enable the computer.

That's why I mentioned the University. Students = partying. At least that's what a quick internet search has informed me.

Let's hope it's not wrong.

So, that's the introduction. Gonna put details of the fic just here for people that wish to submit OC's.

- This SYOC will take begin September 2016, 8yrs after the original show has aired. Code Lyoko Evolution is not canon to this story.

- This fic will occur in the recently built Kadic University in the Clamart suburb of Paris, France (Which would place it the opposite side of the Factory).

- Any original characters from source material would be of a similar age to the OC's - or rather in the specified age range (i.e. 18-25).

- Please no mary-sue's. Need some characters that can go through character progression. They need to be able to learn from mistakes.

- The SYOC form is on my profile. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to ask them. There is no such thing as a stupid question. I'll be sure to ask you questions about your OC so that I can try my best to fit them into the fic perfectly.
