Chloe watched as Trixie played with Lucas and Charlie in the living room. A little over a year had passed since Lucas was born. Their family had changed quite a bit since then. They'd moved out of the penthouse. Chloe wanted her kids to have a house and yard to play in, so they'd gotten a place in the area that, in her opinion, was much bigger than they needed. Lucifer was fine with moving, but being Lucifer, he insisted on something extravagant. It had been hard for Chloe to get Lucifer to accept the now five bedroom home they now had. He'd wanted something even bigger, but Chloe had drawn the line. It was already much more than they needed.

Chloe and Lucifer had also been married in that time. Lucifer asked her a couple of months after Lucas came home, and they'd married relatively quickly. The ceremony was three months earlier. It was small, with just their closest friends and family. Once again, Lucifer wanted to go all out, but Chloe didn't need that. All she needed was him and the people they cared about.

Chloe smiled as she watched her kids play. Lucas was growing so quickly, as was Trixie for that matter, but she couldn't believe it had already been over a year since her son came into the world so dramatically. No one would notice the rough start he had by looking at him. He was just perfect.

Lucas mostly took after Chloe appearance wise. He had her hair and eye color. He did have Lucifer's smile though. There was also the wings that came out whenever the boy saw fit that were obviously Lucifer.

Trixie looked up and saw her mother. "Hey, Mom, when's Dad gonna be here."

"Uh, I think he should be here within the hour," Chloe said. It was Thanksgiving, and she and Lucifer were hosting it. In this instance, it was good that they had such a big house. It was big enough to fit all their friends and family.

"Is Maze coming?" Trixie asked.

"I highly doubt it," Chloe said. Lucifer's father was going to be coming, and Maze knew that. Demons and God didn't exactly mix well.

Lucas walked over to Chloe and held his arms up. "Mama."

Chloe grinned and picked him up. "Hi, baby. Do you want some juice?"

"Yes," Lucas replied.

"Okay, let's go get some. Do you wanna come, Charlie?" she asked as she held her hand out for him.

"No," the boy said as he kept his attention on the blocks he was playing with.

"I'll watch him, Mom," Trixie said.

Chloe smiled at her daughter before carrying her son into the kitchen. As soon as she walked in, she could hear Lucifer and Amenadiel bickering.

"Are you sure you're doing this right, Brother?" Amenadiel asked as he watched her mess with the turkey.

"Yes. Move back. I'm hardly going to take advice from the man that has never cooked in his life," Lucifer said.

"I'm just saying it doesn't look like you're doing it right," Amenadiel said.

"I know how to cook," Lucifer retorted.

"You guys act more like children than your actual children," Linda said with a laugh.

"Do not," Lucifer argued.

Chloe chuckled. "I've been saying since I was pregnant that I have three kids."

"Dada," Lucas said with a big smile on his face.

Chloe smiled. Lucas was a daddy's boy. She knew he loved her too, but he always lit up when Lucifer was in the room.

Lucifer turned and smiled at his wife and son. "Hello, my boy. Did you want to see Daddy?"

"Actually, he wanted some juice, but he seems just as happy to see you," Chloe said before moving to the refrigerator. She pulled out an already made bottle of apple juice and handed it to her son.

Lucas took the bottle and began drinking.

"Charlie's with Trixie, I take it?" Linda asked.

"Yeah. He was not interested in walking away from the toys," Chloe said with a chuckle.

Just then, Dan walked in. "Hey, guys."

"Hi, Dan. Happy Thanksgiving," Chloe said.

"You guys too. So when's dinner?" Dan asked.

"Well, it would be done sooner if Amenadiel would stop second guessing me," Lucifer said.

Dan laughed and took the older angel by the shoulder. Yes, angel. He'd learned the truth a few months back. It had been hard to refute when two little boys started flapping angel wings right in front of him. Needless to say, he'd been more than a bit freaked out, but with a little help from Chloe and Linda, he realized that nothing had really changed. Yes, Lucifer was the Devil, but if he was going to do anything to Dan, he would've done it when Chloe was pregnant and Dan was being a dick. Lucifer was who he always had been. "Come on, man. Let's go into the living room and watch the game."

"Thank you, Daniel," Lucifer said.

"I was only trying to help," Amenadiel muttered as he followed Dan.

Dan and Amenadiel were sitting on the couch watching the boys run around with their wings flapping behind them. Trixie was on the couch opposite them playing a game on her tablet.

"This seems like it's going to be a problem when they start school," Dan said as he watched Charlie and Lucas.

"We'll be able to teach them when not to let their wings out by then. They're too young to know better right now, but they'll be able to then. Of course, it means that right now, they can't really be around people who don't know," Amenadiel said. For that reason, both sets of parents made sure their kids spent as much time together as possible. They didn't want them to feel alone, which they would be if they didn't have each other to play with.

"I guess it's good Ella and I were there the first time they sprouted wings," Dan said. He and Ella had been there for dinner one day. It came as quite a shock to both of them when Lucas and then Charlie revealed their wings in the span of thirty seconds. One had done it, and not wanting to be left out, the other had done it right afterwards. Ella had taken it a bit better than him. It took him a couple of days to come to terms with it. Ella had already felt the Devil was treated unfairly before she knew that he and Lucifer were the same being.

"Yeah."

Suddenly, a man appeared out of nowhere, causing Dan to nearly jump out of his seat. "Whoa!"

"Relax, it's just my father," Amenadiel said as if that were normal.

Dan's eyes went impossibly wide as that realization hit him. He'd met Lucifer and Amenadiel's father before. He had been at Lucifer and Chloe's wedding, as well as the boys' birthday party, but this was the first time that Dan saw him knowing that he was freaking God himself!

The two toddlers stopped playing and ran to their grandfather giggling. Their wings were flapping with excitement.

God bent down to greet them. He hugged both of them. "There are my two favorite boys. Do I see wings, you're getting big. You'll be flying soon.

"Don't mention that in front of Linda, Father. She's already freaking out over it," Amenadiel said. She hadn't taken it well when Charlie displayed his wings for the first time. She and Chloe were both worried about trying to wrangle to little angels that could fly whenever they wanted

God stood up and smiled. "Hello, my son. You're well, I hope."

"Yeah, everything's great," Amenadiel said.

God turned to Trixie next. "And how about you, my dear. Do I not get a hug?"

Trixie smiled before running over and hugging her grandfather. The first time she met him, he told her that he thought of her the same way as Lucifer and Charlie and that she could call him 'Grandpa' if she wanted. She'd gladly taken him up on that. "Hi, Grandpa.

Dan was still sitting there shell shocked. He was in the presence of God himself. He was having a bit of an issue dealing with that.

God smiled at his granddaughter's father. "Hello again, Daniel. It's wonderful to see you again."

"Um, h…hello, S…Sir," Dan stuttered.

Just then, Lucifer and Chloe made it into the room. "Dad, you made it."

"Of course. I said I would come," God said before scooping up the two boys, both of whom had reached their arms out for him. "Chloe, it's lovely to see you again."

"You too," Chloe said with a warm smile. The first couple of times she'd met with Lucifer's father, she was pretty nervous, but now it was pretty normal. It was no different than the way she treated everyone else in her family.

"Well, Dinner's ready, everyone. Shall we go into the kitchen?" Lucifer asked.

"Let's hope you did it right," Amenadiel teased.

"Oh, shut up. You couldn't cook to save your life," Lucifer shot back.

"Boys, that's enough," God said lightly as he carried his two grandsons into the kitchen.

Chloe and Lucifer watched the others follow before putting their arms around each other and walking in themselves. It had been a very rough road, but they were finally in a good place. They had their family, which had become quite large when they included their friends as well. They were finally both happy
