Well, it's a cricle...

(A.k.a. What If FMA Was A Disney Musical)

Izumi Curtis stared down intently at the two boys. It's been exactly thirty days since she dropped them off on the island to figure out the meaning of her question. They either answered correctly, or she was stending them back to Resembool.

"Well?" she asked sternly. "What is the answer?"

Edward and Alphonse looked at each other with dead serious expressions, and nodded in unison. They turned back to her. Then, they each took a deep, deep breath, and opened up their mouths.

Whatever Izumi had been expecting to come out from them, it wasn't this.

"IT'S THE CIIIIIIIIIIRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIIIIFE!" the Elrics wailed together, loudly enough that it startled some birds sitting in nearby trees.

"AND IT MOOOOOVES US AAAAAALL!" Alphonse screeched at the top of his lunges.

"THROUGH DESPAAAAAAIR AND HOOOOOOPE," Ed continued, his voice cracking. "THROUGH FAAAAAAAITH AND LOOOOOOVE~!"

Izumi stared at them blankly. When she looked back at her husband, she saw his shoulders slightly shaking.

"TILL WE FIND OUR PLAAAAAAAACE!" they stood up, hands in the air, somehow singing even louder. "ON THE PATH UNWIIIIDNIIIIIIING~!"

Izumi swore her ears were about to start bleeding like her internal organs.

"IT'S THE CIIIIIIIIIRCLEEEE, THE CIIIIIIIIRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIIFE!"

Then they finally, mercifully shut up, sat back down, and looked at her with the same serious expressions as before.

Izumi couldn't help it. Despite the ringing in her ears, she burst into laughter.

"Alright!" She face palmed, laughing helplessly. "Not exactly what I expected, but technically correct... It'll take you as my students."

"Yes!" the Elrics cheered, giving each other a high five.

Those brats, Izumi thought with amusement. They're going to be a complete nightmare.

Whatever. She would definitely make them regret their delivery tomorrow morning.
