Ok I thought the cool thing about this story was. The song was actually around at the time of the Outsiders lol. Anyway In the song Johnny would be Soda, and Judy would be Rina. Please review.
*Sodas POV*
"Hey look there's an invitation to Sandy's birthday party, and everyone's invited." I said bringing in the mail. Sandy was turning 17 and having a big birthday party and inviting all of the greasers in town...except maybe the Brumley boys or Tim's gang. They tend to get a bit wild for her parents liking.
"So any of you guys wanna go?" I asked turning to the gang
The guys shrugged. "Sure," Two-Bit said.
*Later that day*
*Sandy's POV*
"Hey guys, come on in I'm glad you could come. Especially you Soda." I said linking arms with him, Soda and I had broken up but I still wanted him back
"Uh, hi, Sandy," Soda said. "Happy Birthday."
"Thanks Soda. Your so sweet." I smiled brightly as Soda went to go talk to some of the other guest. I had to come up with a plan to get Soda back. After a while of thinking and talking to random people I decided to go put on some nice slow music and ask Soda to dance but by the time I found the right Song Soda was nowhere to be found. Steve said Soda left with Rina, a girl from school a few minutes ago and that they were holding hands as they left.

I needed something to do...something else to think of. I just decided to play more music, trying to play something happy to take my mind off Soda for a while.
"Hey Sandy you ok?" Some girl from school asked coming over to the corner of the room I has secluded myself in. I just nodded
"I'm fine...but would you give me a while alone please?" I asked quietly and she nodded walking away again. The only person I wanted anywhere near me was Soda

I kept looking at the door, hoping Soda would come back soon. Sure enough he did. But the girl I'm sure was Rina, was still with him, wearing his ring.
"Steve what's going on with Soda?" I asked when Steve came by my way. He looked back at Soda and grinned.
"Well Soda kinda had this thing for Rina since she moved here...it was after you guys had broken up. And well he finally decided to ask her out. And he gave her his high school ring to show they were going steady."
"Oh," I whispered, feeling my eyes water.
"You ok Sandy?" Steve asked looking back over at me
"No," I answered, retreating back to my corner.
Judy and
Johnny just walked through the door

As the party ended everyone started to leave and Soda and Rina made their way over to me.
"Hey Sandy, thanks for inviting me, it turned out to be a great party." I said looking over at Rina smiling. I guessed no one had told him I'd been crying most of the time.
