A/N: This is just a short story that came into me while I am writing the 5th chapter of the new boy in school. Enjoy!.

Winter has always been a wonderful time of the year. Snow's everywhere and people throwing on it to each other enjoying the game. Or just simply rest in their home with their loved ones. This is accurate to a certain couple.

Humphrey cozily laid his head on Kate's lap while she's massaging his ears while reading one of her favorite romance novel from an author named Raven. Humphrey is wearing his blue sweater that says 'Kate's cuddly wolf' and a black cargo pants. Kate on the other hand wears just a white shirt with green cargo pants although she wrapped herself with layers of blanket.

They are relaxing on their bed. Soft relaxing music enveloping the room along with the apple scented candle. The hot cocoa mugs on their nightstand. The light was set to dim giving the room a somewhat pleasant lighting. The blizzard is in full swing for today. No snow fight or building fort or snowman for today.

Kate decided to finish her reading for today. She closed the book and set it in the drawer on the nightstand. She then full concentrates on spoiling Humphrey with her love.

"Ahhh… ah-hehehe that tickles…" Humphrey smiles as his leg spasms a bit from the sensation. Kate giggles and kiss his wet nose. "Oh hush you, allow me to give you all the love you deserve". "I know, it feels wonderful". The two continue to be in that position for a while. Neither dared to move as they are enjoying the moment to the fullest.

"Kate would you mind give me my mug?". Kate grabs his mug and pull his head higher which is now resting on her chest. "Help me drinking it? Pretty please?" He gave her his best effort on puppy eyes. Kate giggles again and carefully tipping the mug to his muzzle as not to spill it. Humphrey gladly drink down the chocolate delight and sighed in content. "Mmm… thank you my dearest Katiepoo". Kate stuck her tongue out and boops his nose. "You are the most welcome WhinyHumphrey".

"Hey where did that come from?" Humphrey said pretending to be upset. "It just came over me. You like it?" "Actually I do. That's pretty corny but it's cute" Humphrey said scratching her chin lightly. "No you're cute" Kate said. "No you are" Humphrey replied. "No you" "No no you". And thus they start to bicker with each other.

"You wanna take this personal huh?" Humphrey said releasing himself from Kate's grip. "Bring it on". The two then starts a playful wrestle on the bed. "H-Hey no fair you are tickling me!" Humphrey protested when Kate tickled him on his side. Humphrey effortlessly grabs both of her hand with his right hand. "Time for some payback my little devil". "Humphrey no i- HAHAHAHA!" He always knew Kate is way more ticklish than he did and her biggest weak spot is her neck. Kate trashes wildly and laughs uncontrollably.

"Okay okay you win!". Humphrey continues to tickly her for a while before releasing her. "Ow what was that for?" Humphrey nursing his cheek when Kate slapped him lightly. "That's for making me cry". Kate then leans for a kiss which he would never deny. "And that's for making me happy". Humphrey smiles and kiss her again. "Cuddle with me?" He asked. "When did I ever say no to that?" Kate rest her head on his chest listening to her most favorite sound in the world: his beating heart.

Humphrey wrap his strong arms around her and pull the blankets on top of them. Sleep starts to invade the two.

"Kate?" He spoke. "Yeah?" She replied.

"I love you".

"I love you too".

They kissed one last time before falling asleep with a content and lovely smile on their faces.
