A/N: Hello there, interwebbers! :)
It's been quite a while since I first watched Sonic Underground, but it used to be one of my go-to shows, once upon a time. Upon re-watching the first episode, several years later, one of Sonic's catchphrases caught my fancy, and I ended up with a fluffy, snarky double drabble to show for it. :)

Be the reason someone smiles today! :D And if you have a moment, I'd love a review. :)
Sonic shivers.
They were in the tundra, following up a tip about their mother. They hadn't had much time to prepare, and weren't well equipped for the trip. To make matters worse, a snowstorm blew in, one so thick, even Sonic didn't dare move in it. They'd hunkered down in some crevice in the ice, with enough of an entrance to block the worst of the wind. But they were by no means safe, and he was growing seriously concerned. They might have to move soon- or freeze to death.
"H-h-hey, bro?" Manic breaks into Sonic's thoughts. He turns towards his brother, who's bravely trying to smile through shaking lips. Sonic silently raises an eyebrow.
"I kn-know you told us this w-would be w-way past cool," Manic said, still with a crooked smile. "But I d-don't think this was-s what you had in m-mind."
Sonic blinks, and then there's only one thing to do.
He laughs, and the pitiful shelter seems a little warmer. Beside him, he feels more than hears Sonia do the same. "Nah," he agrees, breathing out a cloud of steam. "But t-there's no one I'd r-rather do it with."
And he knows they feel the same.
