A/N: Hey guys! This is a short one but the plot is starting to take off for sure. I've also been brainstorming ideas for another story which I know is bad considering I haven't finished this one and my updates are rare. I have the ending mapped out already but I need to organize it and write it along with the build up. I hope you all hang in there and stick it out with me!

We ended up racing through the the dense forest, no destination in mind as we ran. While running we stopped a handful of times whenever something peeked our interest. The first time we stopped Rose pointed to a cave and when walking back to meet her she shoved me to the ground before laughing and running off in the opposite direction. Growling playfully I quickly chased after her, blonde hair blowing in the wind as she maneuvered through the trees and threw teasing smiles back at me.

"You cheated you know! That's the only reason why you're winning right now!" I informed her.

"I did not cheat. It's not my fault you clumsily tripped and fell on the ground. You should check that out by the way. Vampires aren't suppose to be that uncoordinated." she cheekily retorted

Speeding up I launched myself in the air and jumped up and over Rose who started in disbelief as I ran ahead of her. Coming up was a small lake and I prepared myself for another leap. As I tensed my legs and crouched low, I was suddenly shoved forward and into the water I was previously about to jump over. Cold water was what I was submerged in and I could hear the the perpetrator's laughter from above. I swam out of the lake to the blonde beauty sitting on a nearby boulder.

"I'm sorry I wasn't planning on doing that but the opportunity presented itself too perfectly to ignore." she said and instead of answering I tackled her to ground before she could move. The boulder she was previously sitting on shattered under the force and instead of fighting back like I expected Rosalie allowed herself to be taken down giggling all the while. I was straddling her now my knees on either side of her hips with both her legs between mine and I leaned forward my hair dripping over her as I placed one of my hands near her head.

"You caught me, so what now hmm?" she was breathing slowly and honey eyes filled with excitement and anticipation staring back into mine expectantly and suddenly I was a nervous teenager again. Shifting slightly I leaned closer and watched as honey gave way to a dark amber and I gasped watching white teeth bite pink lips. My free hand was on her face not even a second later tracing her golden brows to her perfect nose and across her cheekbone, along her jawline and coming up along her chin where I hesitantly ran my thumb along her lips. When met with no resistance I repeated the action again with more pressure and with a pop Rosalie released her bottom lip from her teeth and I licked mine in response. Closing the small gap between us I desented on her slowly in order to give her time to move yet all she did was whimper as I pressed my lips to hers. We moved slowly upon first touch, starting off only moving our lips slightly against each other until please isabella was whispered against my lips and I stopped holding back. My hands tangled in blonde locks as I opened my mouth and allowed her tongue entrance and she moaned happily when our tongues meet. Hands groped my waist urgently and made their way under my soaked shirt to run up my stomach where nails scratched and clenched as I licked in and around her mouth. I could hear and smell how aroused she was as I untangled my hand from her hair and began touching her now trembling body. Rose arched her back off the ground and disconnected our lips with a loud moan that did nothing but increase my desire and the pool between my legs.

When she opened her eyes there was no color left in them as they pierced through me.

"If we don't stop now I won't want to Isabella." my hips bucked down into hers at the sound of voice and she whimpered my name in response.

Leaning down I kissed along her neck and nibbled at her jaw then gave the swollen lips before me one last kiss before rolling off the still shaking body beneath me. Closing my eyes I breathed in slowly trying to calm down but all it did was flood my senses with Rosalie and I groaned in frustration. Swollowing the venom filling my mouth I counted back from ten and opened my eyes. Rosalie was on her side staring at me worry clearly occupying her face as she waited for me to speak.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get out of hand it's just..."

"It's just what?"

With a small smile I said "I couldn't help it. The opportunity presented itself too perfectly to ignore." and the beauty in front of me gave a wide smile in return.

"I don't regret doing it. You've been on mind since I first saw you again and nothing I do changes that but I wouldn't want to change it." I revealed and she softened.

"I've never been so attracted to anyone in my life, human or vampire, as I am to you Bella. I get goosebumps just being in the same space as you and I get aroused at just the thought of you touching me." at her confession I reached out to touch her and she wrapped her hand in mine and kissed it before continuing.

"There are still things you don't know about me, things I want to tell you before we go any further. I want to get to know you, all of you including your newfound family. I love Emmett and I will always be grateful for the time we spent together but we happened so fast. I saved him and everyone took it as a sign of him and I being mates and at the time I was lonely and he was sweet. He was there and it was just so easy only to find out a little less than a century later that we weren't meant to be."

"You're right. I know that I said I don't regret kissing you and I don't but I don't want you thinking I only want this temporarily or that Rosalie Hale isn't important to me when you are. I know we only just started getting to know each other Rose but I also know that I feel for you isn't some fling that end. I want you, now and always and i'll wait as long as you want." Scooting forward I ran my fingers across her face as she stared at me. Wrapping herself around me Rose kissed my cheek and mumbled a thank you and laid her head in the crook of my neck.

The weeks following the visit to the Cullen's mansion were hectic. The fall semester was coming to an end for Jacob, Seth and Nahuel which meant essays needed to be turned in and final exams were nearing. While Nahuel took it all with a little more ease, Jacob and Seth were both struggling with math and science respectively. Hulien suggested they tutor each other in those classes which worked for two days before they got swarmed with more work and coming home to three energetic toddlers didn't help their case either. Instead they took to staying at the library until it closed at 6 pm and locking themselves in their room before I finally put the kids to bed early for the time being. This decision was met with protest at first but a week later died down due to the upcoming growth spurt I sensed coming. Fatigue, the usually playful bunch and their appetites skyrocketed over those seven days too. The physical proof has yet to occur but Leah and Victoria accompanied me in buying new clothes for the triplets after noticing the signs. No longer did their days consist of running through the forest or playing in the backyard, instead they stayed inside and slept like the year old babies they were. Now with the kids rarely going out I had no excuse to go and visit the Cullens, Rosalie in particular and the time away was starting to be felt. The two of us still kept in contact especially after the kiss we shared but it wasn't the same as seeing her in person. We haven't told anyone about the shift in our relationship but from what Rose told me she was sure that Jasper and Alice suspected something but Iris knew. I was worried about the impact our relationship might have on her family and mine. Esme and Carlisle seem to be holding out hope that Edward and I would get together again and eventually join their coven, something I do not plan on doing. If I were to tell my family I'm sure everyone would be happy for me or learn to accept it. Rosalie and I had agreed to take things slow however so technically we were still just friends I reasoned but I knew it was a lie.

Thursday after putting the triplets to sleep, I received and call from Caius which automatically sent off warning signs because he despises using phones and only calls when absolutely necessary. The rule was to keep communication between us as limited as possible to avoid drawing attention not only to relationship that I have with the three Kings and to deter enemies from learning about my families existence. Exiting Nik's room I made my way down the hall where my bedroom was and answered the phone.

"What's happened?" In the background angry shouting could be heard and with closer inspection I recognized Aro and Sulpicia among them.

"You're needed here. Bring the wolf as well." My back straightened and I swallowed hard at his words. Clearly whatever was going on couldn't be relayed over the phone and in front of whoever was around him.

"How much time do we have?"

"Saturday at sundown is preferred child. The quicker you arrive the better."

"We'll be there."

I could hear Leah and Victoria packing upstairs and and Hulien was outside my door when the call ended. A grimace adorned her face as she leaned down to kiss my cheek.

"The boys and I will watch the bebês. Ser filha segura."

"I will be. We'll be back as soon as we can tia. Thank you."

At that moment I was grateful the boys were out studying and almost wished to be taken back in time, a time when the only worry I had about was passing exams and meeting deadlines for homework due. The thought was gone as quickly as it came as I knew that I wouldn't have the family I have now if not for the actions that were set in motion. With a heavy heart, I went to each of my children's room to give them a goodbye kiss as they slept. When I finished I grabbed my to go duffel and headed downstairs to the garage where Victoria and Leah were already waiting in the R8 for me. Sliding into the back seat nodding to Tori and she started the car, speeding down to the road.

Now the three of were being escorted by Raul, Jane and Alec through the underground tunnels that led to the Volturi Castle. I had long given up trying to get information from the three as they were clearly given orders to not reveal anything but after much thought I asked a question that had Jane clenching her tiny fist.

"Do you even know why we're here? Did your kings not inform you of why it is we were summoned?"

So not even the twins were privy to whatever discord has abruptly occurred and instead of putting my mind at ease it did the exact opposite. The doors in front of us opened and now that we entered the castle I could hear the shouting coming from the throne room where the six royals were arguing. Beside me Tori and Leah tensed and the familar tingling sensation at the back of my head had me opening the link.

This...whatever this is, is not good. In all my years as an Immortal I have never heard of the three kings let alone their mates disagreeing like this.

Chelsea must not be aware of whatever is going on either because I'm sure she's not in the throne room.

As we neared the door I noted that the halls were all empty, even the humans that usually were stationed outside were nowhere to be found. The three guards stopped before we entered and looked back at us.

"Good luck intoccabili." Alec whispered and forced the heavy doors open and with my head held high I stepped through the door. The first thing we all noticed when entering the room was the pile of ashes on the far left of the room and the three vampires on their knees nearby. They were all young, younger than me even not only in human years but immortality as well. The oldest being about sixteen was a blonde haired boy with blood red eyes of a newborn not even six months old, the second looked to be about fourteen wild red hair atop her baby face and eyes that mirrored the firsts and the last was boy no more that ten with black hair but patches were missing in places as if burnt off.

The shouting seized when everyone took notice to our presence and the door closed loudly behind us as I led Tori and Leah in front of the six royals staring at us.

"Ahh Isabella how nice of you to join us, Victoria and her wolf mate as well it seems too." Aro's pure black robe flowed out behind him as he glided towards me and I bowed my head down in respect.

"It's a pleasure to see you all as always your majesties." I replied and Aro grabbed hold of my hand and gave it soft kiss before pulling me towards the large table where the other five royals and two other people I haven't seen before sat. Leah and Tori trailed after me and choose instead to stand on either side of me as I sat down next to Caius and Didyme.

"Bella before we begin I want to make it perfectly clear that everything discussed in this room is need to know only and no one outside this room is privy to the information being shared. Is that clear?" with a nod I answered Caius' question and he began.

"As everyone here knows about two years ago Isabella came here seeking refuge for her and her unborn children after having been abandoned by the Cullens months prior. No one with the exception of two of her coven members were aware that hybrids were a possibility at the time or so we all thought. It seems that Aro has been working behind my and all of the Volturi's back for centuries-" Caius furiously said and my eyes widen in disbelief at what he was insinuating

"Brother I have told you already that I had no proof that such things were possible before Isabella"

"Do NOT interrupt me while I am speaking brother. You've been lying and deceiving everyone for years and only now revealed this secret because of the actions that have now been set in motion due to your poor judgement, selfishness and greed." the blonde haired king snarled and all was silent as everyone sat frozen by the rage emitting from the ill tempered king. I felt Leah apply more pressure on the chair and silently told her to relax and only when Tori laid a hand on her trembling hand did she relax.

"As I was saying, Aro has been not only researching but conducting experiments on the findings he's discovered and now because of his recklessness we have a problem on our hands. His laboratory, which for some ridiculous reason he chose not to have here but somewhere else, was raided two months ago."

"So this whole time you knew exactly what was inside me all those months ago but you chose to play dumb and make us find witnesses and proof that my children wouldn't be threats to vampire society and for what? What was the purpose of this Aro?" I asked angrily and just stared at me.

"That's not all i'm afraid dear. Aro had been using samples of the triplets-" a loud roar tore my throat and shook my whole body as I launched myself at the man called a king but he was old and with age came speed and strength. Instead hitting Aro in his nonchalant face I grazed his robe and the throne he loved so much was turned to rubble as my fist made contact with it. Not satisfied I quickly spun around to where he now stood behind Sulpicia who was crouched low with a growl on her lips and launched myself at the pair. Before I could get far two strong set of arms wrapped around me slammed me into a pillar nearby. It shattered quickly and I performed a back flipped and proceeded to go after my target who now watched with childlike joy as I raced towards him again. With a snarl I threw a punch and just I as thought Sulpicia intended to block but I was already in the air and grabbing my victim's shoulders but before I could slam him down I was suddenly kicked across the room into the wall and hands were around my wrist and throat before I could move. I felt my skin begin to crack as the grip on the neck tightened and realized my legs were still free. Leah has shifted somewhere between the 5 seconds I had attacked and was snarling at the two unknown vampires who held me in their grip.

Leah don't move we're outnumbered and they have Bella. Bella I understand you're furious but you need to calm down and control yourself.

"Bella stop this now! Jason! Clare! Release her this instant. That's an order!" It was Athenodora who gave the order and with one more squeeze I was released. Tori and Leah were next to me, the former helping me out the wall while the latter rubbed against me.

I'm fine.

My wrist and neck were already healed and I made my way back to the table intent on listening to what Athenodora had to say. Aro and Sulpicia stood opposite me and I clenched my jaw to hold back the snarl threatening to burst from me.

"Aro used samples of the triplets Bella and those samples along with all the work Aro had done is gone. Who ever has it now holds their DNA and Aro had no leads on who it could've been until two nights ago when Jason and Clare were on patrol near the lab and found them-" the red headed queen gestured lazily in the direction of the three newborns who leaned as far away as they could from us "-leaving the premises. There were five of them but my dear husband grew tired of repeating himself and well...you see the results of that my dear."

"Assuming Aro has already read them, did he not find the necessary information needed? How is it that everyone is still in the dark concerning who did this and why?"

"It seems that Aro is unable to get a proper read of them Isabella." Caius stated and as he said this I knew that like me, he called bullshit. There was something bigger happening here and while Caius could be temperamental and bullheaded I knew that but judging from the crease between his eyebrows as he glared at Aro he was just as confused as everyone else.

"They aren't talking?" Victoria questioned

"The two adult newborns before were babbling on about some 'Devine Three' that would be the end of us. It sounded like nonsense, the babbling of a crazed child." Aro said dismissively and I ran my hand through my hair in annoyance.

I'm sure that they had the three children witness the demise of their own in a move intent to in spite fear but it appeared they decided to shutdown.

"Let me talk to them alone." I said and sounds of disagreement sounded around the table.

"Absolutely not. These three are our witnesses and as such any interrogations happening will be with us present." Sulpicia argued.

"No. Let the girl talk to them. Isabella you'll have a week to pry out any information you can and on the seventh day if nothing comes it we shall take matters into our hands." Marcus' slow and disinterested voice sounded from his seat down the table and Didyme smiled softly at me.

"What of the information she does discover? Surely you know we need to be informed of any and all findings-"

"You forfeited the right to know anything brother the minute you decided to go on your own and conduct these experiments. Need I remind you we are in this situation because of you and your uncommunicative ways. You won't be involved in this case. At all. Marcus, Didyme, Athenodora, are you all in agreement?" Caius asked and they all nodded in acceptance.

"Isabella I want to apologize on behalf of the Volturi for the trouble this will no doubt cause you and your coven. There will obviously be some much needed reshuffling done here." I bowed my head in acknowledgement of Didyme's words and with a wave of a hand the once full table was empty and only six people remained in the room. In a show of anger I flipped the table over and cursed while Victoria and Leah watched me.

"FUCK"
