Hello and welcome back to The Son of Satan in Yokai Academy. It's been a while since I updated this story, but this Coronavirus pandemic has really messed things up. Now because of that, me and a lot of other employees at my job started working from home, which was not as bad as I thought it would be. The schedule they gave us is still the same, which means two days off for weekends, which means time for writing, which alongside video games, is one of the only things that keep me entertained and help retain my sanity during this isolation. Hopefully this whole thing blows over soon and everything can go back to normal. I'm glad that people are still reading and liking my story. For those who do, you all freaking rock and I hope you continue to enjoy it. As a heads up, I'm making this a two parter because I put this chapter off for long enough and I really need to get another chapter out before anything else and the fact that this will be a long chapter. I apologize if it feels like I'm being lazy, but like I said, I put this off for long enough. But if you feel I should do this in one chapter, let me know and I will fix it immediately. But for now, this will be part one of the Mizore introduction.

So last time, Rin received some new weapons to add to his arsenal along with some new powers they produce. And if that wasn't enough, Tsukune received a shock when he was not only able to summon a demon familiar, but this demon informed him that he comes from a family of exorcists. Above that, with the training he's getting from Rin and being able to summon familiars, Tsukune is now able to protect his friends instead of just sitting on the sidelines. This chapter, the gang meets a certain snow woman with stalker tendencies and who has her eyes set on Tsukune. What would happen when the son of Satan tries to keep her from the object of her affection? Find out here. Before going on, I'll answer some reviews.

Captain Imaginat: I thank you for your input and will definitely use some of the insults you suggested somehow. Also, very good catch on comparing Soichiro to John Winchester from Supernatural, of which yes I am a very big fan of the show. To be totally honest, that wasn't my intention. I just wanted to add something that would add to the drama but again a very good find. I appreciate all the feedback and suggestions, I'll see how I can use them later down the road and the insults are a good start. So thanks again.

strongdarknessking675: Have Rin learn Santoryu (Zoro's fighting style), huh? Hmmm, that sounds like a pretty interesting idea. Definitely something I could incorporate somehow.

strongsonicflash78: I'm glad you like the chapter. Yes I do have a few ideas for Tsukune to increase his skill in summoning demons the stronger he gets. Now I was planning on following the events of the anime and the manga, which would mean Tsukune would end up becoming a vampire, which would mean his power in summoning familiars will increase exponentially. How much, well that depends on how the story plays out. But keep reading and thank you so much for your feedback.

Wendel Santana: Ask and ye shall receive.

Zoran Dawn Eclipse: I'm glad you liked my idea for Tsukune. TBH, I always thought Tsukune was a wuss so I figured I give him some skills to give him an edge and maybe make him more of a bad ass somehow.

ShadowExorcist795: Thank you, I'm honored to know that I'm your favorite author and hope to continue not disappointing you. I'm also glad you are liking where the story is going. Stick around, there is more to come for The Son of Satan in Yokai Academy. Also, where did you manged to score a fire katana? I've been looking for an ice katana but can't find one for the life of me haha.

Jacquelyn Frost: I'm glad you like this story. As for your question if Tsukune will become a vampire, yes he will. I am planning to go down the manga route later down the road, I just have to see where the story goes from here. Look forward to more.

And with that, let's get to the story. So read, review and enjoy and as always, I own nothing but OCs

Chapter 11

A Snow Woman's Obsession (Part One of Two)

The Human World

It was a normal, mundane week night in the human world. People were clocking out for the day from their jobs and were either heading home or going out for a drink or two with some friends. While the Working Joes were doing that, there were others, wives or girlfriends, who waited patiently at home for their beloveds to come home. In an unsuspecting house was one such woman. She was a young woman in her 30's with short brown hair. She wore a white long sleeve blouse with blue pants. She also wore an orange apron. This woman was Kasumi Aono, wife of Koji Aono and mother of Tsukune. She was in the kitchen right now preparing dinner for her and her husband, all with a happy smile on her face and humming a tune. She was certainly happy and right to be so. She had just gotten a call from her son telling her that he was adjusting well at his new school and had made plenty of good friends. And if that wasn't enough, she just learned that her husband was due for a promotion at the office where he worked. All in all, things were shaping out to be perfect for her family.

DING DONG

She was disrupted from her thoughts when the door bell rang. "Oh, I wonder who that could be." She wondered out loud. She knew that Koji always had a key to the house on him and wouldn't ring the door bell to get in, so it might have been a guest. She turned down the stove and went to answer the door. "I'm coming." She said. Once she got to the door and opened it, she received a surprise at who was at the door. Not because she knew who it was, but because of the way he presented himself. The man was dressed in a very flamboyant white suit complete with top hat, not to mention he was also very tall, easily dwarfing her by over a foot. Her visitor was none other than Mephisto Pheles. "Umm, can I help you sir?"

"Good evening madam." He eccentrically introduced. "I'm looking for the Aono residence. Is this the place by chance?"

Kasumi was rather weirded out by the man's eccentric fashion but obliged herself to answer the question. "Um, yes it is. May I ask who you are and what your business is here?"

"Oh, of course, where are my manners? Allow me to formally introduce myself." Mephisto took off his top hat and bowed before the Aono matriarch. "My name is Johann Faust, the headmaster of True Cross Academy." He grabbed Kasumi's hand and brought it to his face. "And I must say, it is an absolute honor to meet you." He then gently kissed her hand like a gentleman would before he let it go, making her blush.

"Oh my." Kasumi blurted out flustered putting a hand to her face. No man aside from her husband had ever treated her in such a way. She snapped back to reality when she remembered what he told him. "Wait a minute. Did you say you were the headmaster of True Cross Academy." Mephisto nodded his head. "As in one of the best and most prestigious private schools in all of Japan?"

"Yes indeedy dandy." He responded eccentrically before putting his hat back on his head.

"Oh my! This is certainly a surprise!" Kasumi said bowing in respect to the disguised King of Time. "Although, I never would have expected the headmaster of an elite private school would be so...well...relaxed."

"Life is too short to be so serious all the time madam. Just because I run a private school doesn't mean I don't know how to wind down from time to time."

"Oh, I see. Well I must ask, what brings the headmaster from such an esteemed school as one as yours to our neck of the woods?"

"Actually madam, I was looking for Koji Aono. Is this his home?"

Kasumi was a bit surprised to hear him mention her husband by name. "Yes, he lives here. As a matter of fact, he's my husband."

"Ah, splendid. I was hoping to have a little chat with him. Is he home by chance?"

"May I ask first how it is that you know him?"

"Oh, I've known Koji for quite a long time. I was friends with his father."

Kasumi raised a questioning eyebrow. "Is that so? Huh, my Koji never mentioned he was acquainted with someone such as you sir."

"It probably just slipped his mind somehow. The last time I saw him was when he was just a lad." He casually waved his hand.

"Oh, I see. Well anyway, Koji isn't home from work yet but he should be here any minute now." She then gestured to the inside of her home. "In the meantime, you're more than welcome to come in and wait for him until he gets home."

"Oh that would be just wonderful. Thank you ever so much." Mephisto answered with a bow.

"Then please, come on in." Mephisto entered the house, took off his shoes, and followed Kasumi to the living room. Kasumi motioned to the table. "Please, do have a seat Mr. Faust."

"Why thank you Mrs. Aono. And please, call me Johann. I don't need the 'Mr.' to make this body feel any older." He joked as he sat down.

"Oh, well in that case, please feel free to call me Kasumi." She offered with a smile. Once she was in the kitchen, he went back to making dinner.

Mephisto took a quick look around the house. "I must say, you have a very lovely home Kasumi." Mephisto complimented.

"Why thank you Johann. I try my best to keep a clean and tidy home." Kasumi replied.

"And you do not disappoint my dear. I bet Koji Boy is always happy when he comes home to you."

"Well I most certainly hope so. So, what was it you wanted to discuss with my Koji?"

"Oh, it's been years since we've seen each other. I just wanted to drop in and say hello. See how's he's been. Maybe even talk about old times and the like."

"Oh, that sounds nice. Well I'm just making some dinner right now. You're more than welcome to join us." She happily offered.

"Ooooh, don't mind if I do. I never was one to turn down a home cooked meal."

"Glad to hear it." Kasumi replied. "In the mean time, would you like a cup of tea while you're waiting?"

"Please and thank you."

Kasumi prepared some tea and gave Mephisto a cup. A few moments later, the front door opened and a voice made itself known. "I'm home." A clearly male voice said.

"Oh, there's Koji now. Excuse me a moment." Kasumi said as she headed for the front door. She looked to see the man who was her husband. He looked like an older version of Tsukune, complete with black hair and brown eyes. He wore a grey business suit and a black overcoat. As he was putting his coat on the coat rack and taking off his shoes, Kasumi happily went up to her husband and hugged him. "Welcome home my honey." She affectionately greeted her beloved husband.

"Hello dear." He kissed her on the lips and returned her hug.

"So how was your day?"

"Same old, same old, just another day at the office." Koji responded casually while loosening his tie. The two headed for the living room.

"Well dinner is almost ready. Oh and also an old friend of yours is here as well. I invited him to stay for dinner."

Koji raised an eyebrow. "An old friend?"

"Yes. His name is Johann Faust. He says he was a friend of your father's."

Koji widened his his eyes in surprise at the name and he felt like his blood ran ice cold. The look on his face was one someone would have if they were running away from something in their past and their past just managed to catch up to them. Kasumi noticed the look in her husband's face and became immediately concerned. A million thoughts started running through his head. He felt someone tap on his shoulder and call his name.

"Koji?" Her voice was enough to snap him out of it and bring him back to reality as he looked towards his wife.

"Huh? What?" Koji asked.

"Are you alright honey? You look as if you've seen a ghost."

"Oh, I-I'm fine. Really." He replied. "It's just...Johann Faust. Heh, wow, that's a name I haven't heard in quite a long time. Not since I was a kid."

Kasumi didn't question it and simply accepted it with a smile. "Well, I bet you two have much to catch up on. He's in the dining room." She led him to the dining room where Mephisto was sitting. Once they reached the room, Koji caught a glimpse of their guest.

"Ah, Koji Boy! Long time no see!" He greeted him eccentrically with a chuckle while raising his cup. Koji just scowled at the older demon.

"Well Koji," Koji's scowl disappeared as he looked at his wife. "why don't you have a seat, relax and catch up with Johann here. Dinner will be right out." She returned to the kitchen to finish making dinner. Koji's scowl returned as he took a seat across from Mephisto.

Mephisto for his part just continued to grin mischievously, not even bothered that Koji was glaring at him. "So Koji Boy, it would seem that we have a lot of catching up to do, don't we?" He said taking a drink of his tea, Koji still scowling at him.

Yokai Academy

"Papers here." Moka shouted holding copies of the club's newspaper. "Get your own copy of the new issue of the Yokai Gazette."

It was another morning at Yokai Academy and Rin, Tsukune, and the girls along with Gin were handing out the newest editions of their newspaper. Ever since the gang joined the Newspaper Club, it has been a rousing success. Each member did their own sections. Tsukune and Moka were the photojournalists, it was their job to get the scoop for their paper, Rin and Kurumu both wrote a cooking column that featured many recipes ranging from baked goods to gourmet meals, Yukari did a tarot card and horoscope section thanks to being a witch along with tips for students to use on exams, and finally Shiemi did a column on gardening, which was surprisingly popular with many of the female population of the school along with a health column.

"This issue is hot off the presses." Kurumu announced enthusiastically as she handed out papers.

"Wait til you have a peek at what's inside." Yukari added.

"Step right up. Plenty for everyone." Shiemi added with a smile.

Student's were lining up for an issue. "I'll take one." One boy shouted.

"Pass one over here." A female student a couple people back called out.

"Wow, they even have strategies for the final exams." One boy who already had a paper pointed out as he and a couple of his acquaintances read the paper together.

Gin, Tsukune, and Rin were standing behind a table with more copies to hand out when the girls ran out. Gin couldn't help but look at the scene with a smile on his face. "Boy, the new issue is selling like hot cakes, huh?" He asked."

"Yeah, it's great considering all the work we put into it." Tsukune replied.

Rin just snickered. "What do you mean 'we' Tsukune?" The half-blood jokingly asked. "'We'" Rin motioned to him, Tsukune and the girls. "did all the hard work. He just sat around on his ass while drinking his coffee."

Gin just gained an annoyed tick mark. "Oh can it you Wretched Elf." He responded, making Rin gain an annoyed tick mark as well.

"How about you can it, you Were Wuss?" Rin shot back. Gin gained an irritated tick mark and glared at Rin, which the half-blood returned in full.

"Walking Blowtorch."

"Sleazy Schnauzer."

"Blazing Brat."

"Ball Chasing Creep."

"Scorchin' Snot Nosed Squirt."

"Granny Impersonator."

Tsukune, standing in the middle of them, just tried his best to resolve the situation. "Aw, come on guys. There's no need to throw names at each other." He calmly tried to ease the tension inbetween the two alpha males. It didn't work as the two just shot insults back and forth all the while imaginary sparks were flying between them.

The girls saw this and let out a somewhat embarrassed sigh. 'There they go again.' They all thought at the same time before they went back to distributing papers.

Some Time Later

After some time had passed, the Newspaper club had handed out the last copy and were now officially out of papers.

"We did it! We really did it! We got rid of all of them." Yukari happily exclaimed holding up an empty box for emphasis.

"Well, it looks like this issue of the paper was another big success for us." Kurumu added.

"Hell yeah, we kicked ass with this one." Rin exclaimed.

"Hey guys, I have an idea." Moka said. "Why don't we throw ourselves a rap party. We can all bring some snacks."

Everyone smiled at the idea. "Oh, I think that's a great idea Moka." Shiemi replied happily.

"Yeah, I think we all deserve to have a good time and a rap party sounds like just the thing." Tsukune added."

"Sounds like a good plan to me." Yukari happily exclaimed.

The gang were all excited at the idea until Moka realized they were short one person. "Hey hold on. Has anyone seen Gin?" Everyone looked and sure enough, their club president was nowhere in sight.

"Huh, that's odd. He was just here a second ago." Tsukune pointed out.

"I say who cares?" Rin jumped in. "Knowing Pooch Boy, he probably saw some pretty girls and ran off after them like they were juicy steaks." Kurumu and Yukari nodded their heads in agreement.

"Yeah, that certainly sounds like something Gin would do." Shiemi said with a sweat drop. And boy was Rin right. On the other side of the campus, the werewolf president of the Newspaper Club was hitting on a couple of first year girls. His flirting however looked like it was making them uncomfortable, but he was too oblivious to the fact.

"Forget about him. I say he's not even invited." Kurumu stated bluntly while crossing her arms under her breasts. Rin nodded his head in agreement.

"Yeah, that jerk's the enemy of all women!" Yukari added.

"But more importantly, what should we do for the party?" Kurumu asked.

"How about we buy snacks at the campus store." Moka suggested.

"Ooh, we should also set some drinks too." Yukari added.

"Sounds good, but nothing with alcohol." Tsukune replied.

"Alright then it's a plan." Kurumu began. "Let's meet up at the student store during lunch and we'll get the snacks we want."

Sheimi raised her hand, getting everyone's attention. "Um, I just made a batch of my special herb cookies my grandmother taught me how to make. Is it alright if I bring those?" Shiemi asked shyly.

"Sure, that sounds good Shiemi." Tsukune replied, making Shiemi smile.

"Oh yes. Homemade snacks are always good." Moka Added.

"Oh yeah, trust me guys. The cookies Shiemi make are bomb. Believe me when I say you haven't lived til you try them." Rin added.

Hearing that made Shiemi blush mildly. "Oh please Rin, you didn't have to say that." She said flustered.

"Why not? It's the truth." Shiemi continued to blush at Rin's praise. She honestly had no idea what to do with such praise. While everyone continued to talk about things to bring for the party, a girl walked up to them unnoticed.

"You people are all buddy buddy, aren't you? You Newspaper Clubbers." The girl said, causing the gang to look and acknowledge her presence. The girl before them had long, light purple hair that extended to the top of her back and she had blue eyes with a tint of purple in them. She wears a light brown pleated checkered skirt, a white sweatshirt with long dark blue sleeves with a black singlet underneath, a yellow pendant around her neck, long dark & light purple striped stockings with white shoes and a belt tied to her left leg. They also saw what appeared to be a lollipop in her mouth.

"And you all like each other. Truthfully, I never understood that way of thinking." She finished in a monotonous tone.

The gang couldn't help but feel a bit unsettled by this girl. Mainly because of how she spoke. 'Oooookay, weirdo alert.' Rin thought.

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean huh?!" Kurumu exclaimed. From her tone, she sounded like she didn't like what this girl said. The girl just ignored her while twirling the lollipop in her mouth. Being ignored didn't sit well with Kurumu. "Hey, are you listening-"

"Kurumu, tap the brakes." Rin suggested putting a hand on the succubus' shoulder, effectively calming her down.

"Anyway, is there something we can help you with?" Tsukune asked.

"...Newspaper." The girl said, confusing the group. "Can I have one?" She held out her right hand to the group.

"Oh, uh...sure." Tsukune replied. He knew that they already handed out all the papers not too long ago but kept one in his pocket. He took it out and handed it to the girl. "Sorry if it's a little folded and crumpled." He said. The girl took the paper from his hand and closed in on his face, unsettling him a bit. "Ummm, what are you doing?"

The girl was silent for a moment as she continued to observe Tsukune up close. "...So you're the famous Tsukune huh?" She then took her lollipop out of her mouth and smiled at him. "You're a lot cuter than I'd thought you'd be."

Tsukune was completely taken aback by the compliment. He had never been called that by a girl and this one just told him right to his face. "Oh, uh thanks...I guess. And you're quite cute yourself Miss...uh."

"Shiraiyuki. Mizore Shiraiyuki." The girl, now known as Mizore Shiraiyuki, introduced herself, a small blush present on her face after Tsukune called her cute. She turned to walk away and shot one last look at Tsukune. "I'll see you later." She then walked away to parts unknown.

The girls and Rin went up to Tsukune, Moka even wrapped her arm around Tsukune in a possessive fashion. "Who was that girl? Do you know her?" The pink haired vampiress asked.

Tsukune shook his head. "No, never seen her before in my life."

Rin grinned and chuckled mischievously. "But I bet you'd want to get to know her, wouldn't ya?"

"Wh-what do you mean by that Rin?!" Tsukune asked hesitantly. Rin then wrapped an arm around him.

"Aw, don't be so coy you playboy. I totally heard you call that girl cute." Rin replied, making Tsukune blush in embarrassment.

Moka and Yukari looked at Tsukune shocked. He had known them for a good while and he never called either of them cute and he just calls some random girl cute. The two couldn't help but feel a tad jealous.

"Tsukune, you called her cute?!" Moka asked irate.

"No fair!" Yukari exclaimed. "You've known Moka and me longer and you never called us cute yet you call someone you've never even met something like that!"

Tsukune knew he was in a bit of a pickle and had to find a way to fix it. "Guy's it's not what you think. I was just trying to be polite is all." He frantically explained waving his hands in front of him.

"Suuuure you were buddy." Rin humorously replied.

"Rin, you're killing me here!" Tsukune exclaimed, crying anime tears.

Rin just laughed as he smacked Tsukune's shoulder. "Relax, you know I'm just messing with ya." Rin took his arm off of Tsukune.

"Well don't that Rin, I have a very weak heart." Rin just chuckled in good humor.

"Anyway, that girl, what was her name again?"

"She said her name was Mizore Shiraiyuki." Tsukune replied.

Rin raised an eyebrow at his answer. "Wait, Shiraiyuku?"

"Do you know her Rin?" Moka asked.

"No, not personally, but I can't help but think I heard that name before."

Kurumu put a finger to her face in thought. "Huh, now that you mention it, that name actually does ring a bell." Kurumu said.

"Hey wait, isn't she in our class?" Shiemi wondered.

"Wait, now that you mention it, I think Miss Nekonome always calls that name during roll call, but she never seemed to be in class." Moka added.

"Wow, we've been going to school for a good while now. I guess she must have been really sick or something to have missed class so much." Yukari deduced.

"Even still, whoever she is, I don't like her." Kurumu said wrapping her arms around her.

"Yeah, tell me about it. There's someting about her I don't like either." Yukari added.

"Ah come on guys." Shiemi jumped in. "I mean sure she may seem like a bit of an oddball, but I bet deep down she's just shy but really wants to make friends."

'Boy, that glass of yours is always half full, isn't it?' Everyone thought at the same time.

"Hey, come on guys. Let's not any of this spoil our good time." Rin said

"Rin's right. Let's have the party of our lives after school. What do you all say?" Tsukune added.

"YEAAAAAAAAH!" The girls all happily shouted at the same time throwing their hands in the air. While they were celebrating, none of them noticed that Mizore was hiding a nearby tree and watching them. Her eyes were glued to Tsukune, a smile and blush present on her face.

'Oh Tsukune.' She thought. 'You and I are of a kind. You and I were destined to meet each other. I know I can make you happy.' She then eyed Moka and her smile turned into a scowl. 'If only that girl, Moka Akashiya were gone, then we could be together. Worry not, I'll save you from your loneliness.' Her eyes then set upon Rin and she narrowed them at the Son of Satan. 'And then there's him, Rin Okumura. The kind of power he's dishing out. I could feel it when I walked up to them. His power, it feels raw, powerful...and dangerous.' Soon enough, the tree she was hiding behind started to freeze. 'Moka Akashiya, Rin Okumura, you two are nothing but a hindrance to my Tsukune. And for that...you both have to go.'

Homeroom

"Okay then, Miss Kuruno?" Miss Nekonome called out for roll call.

"Here." Kurumu confirmed raising her hand. Miss Nekonome checked her off in her attendance book.

"Miss Muriyama?"

"Here ma'am."

"Mr. Okumura?"

"Yo."

"Mr. Sato?"

"Present."

"And finally Miss Shiraiyuku?" When Miss Nekonome called out the name but didn't hear anyone say 'here' or 'present', she called out her name again. "Miss Shiraiyuki?" she looked to the empty desk in front of Tsukune and saw it was empty. "Hmmmm, I guess she's out again today." She said downtrodden. Just then, the door opened and said absent girl entered the room, surprising everyone. Mizore then took a seat in front of Tsukune. "Oh, Miss Shiraiyuki! I'm thrilled you decided to join us today." The cat eared teacher said happily, which Mizore relied with a disinterested shrug.

"That's the girl from this morning." Tsukune said softly.

"Huh, so she finally decided to show up." Rin added.

"Moving on then." Miss Nekonome pushed up her glasses as she continued where she left off during roll call. "Well since this is the first time she's shown up, I guess introductions are in order." She gestured to the purple-haired girl. "Everyone, this is Mizore Shiraiyuki. Due to extenuating circumstances, she was prevented from attending classes until now. But everyone, please be nice and treat her like a friend."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA?" Practically everyone in the classroom shouted in shock.

Mizore looked behind over her shoulder to see Tsukune. She winked twice at him with a small smile and a blush on her face. Tsukune meanwhile was a little disturbed at the action, evident by the look on his face.

Rin just looked at the weird girl sitting in front of his best friend. 'Aw man! Why do I get the feeling this chick is gonna be trouble?' He thought to himself with a twitching eyebrow.

After Class

The day had finally ended and students were now heading home or heading to club activities. Everyone in the Newspaper Club met up in the hallway to discuss plans for the wrap party they had planned this morning. The gang all agreed they would bring the snacks they wanted for the party and head to the clubroom. Luckily for them, they all went to the student store during lunch. Kurumu said she made a cake and wanted to go back to her dorm room to pick it up while Rin said he wanted to grab something else from his own dorm. While Rin and Kurumu were doing that, Moka, Shiemi, Yukari, and Tsukune would all meet up in the clubroom. With the plan in mind, everyone set out.

Rin just grabbed a couple extra bags of snacks and drinks from his room and was now on his way to the clubroom. While walking, he couldn't help but feel someone was watching from the adjoining woods. After walking a few more feet, he stopped and looked towards the trees, a frown present on his face.

"I know you're hiding there. Come out. Now!" He demanded.

Not a moment later, Mizore stepped out into the open and walked onto the dirt path and stood right in front of him, standing a good six feet away.

"So you were able to detect me Rin Okumura. I admit, I'm impressed." She said in a monotonous tone.

"What can I say, since you came to class this morning, I've been getting the feeling of a chill going down my spine and it's just been getting worse throughout the day. Almost like someone was watching me. Glad to know I wasn't being paranoid." Rin shrugged. "Well since you're here, you mind telling me why you've been stalking me?"

Mizore just played with the lollipop in her mouth for a moment before answering. "First let me ask you this, what is your relationship with Tsukune?"

"Huh?" Rin asked.

"I'm asking you why do you hang out with Tsukune."

Rin raised an eyebrow in confusion, wondering why she would ask something like that, but decided to indulge her. "Why else? Tsukune's my best friend. He always has been since I first entered this school. Why does that matter to you?"

"Because I've been hearing some rumors about you Rin Okumura. Mostly that you were the one who sent a student named Saizo Komiya to the infirmary at the start of the school year. He may still be alive, but people were saying he was burned so bad that he won't be able to go to class for a good while."

"Yeah, so what?"

"So you don't deny you did it?"

"Hey, that bastard Komiya tried to hurt Moka and Tsukune. He was a thug and a creep and he got exactly what was coming to him." Rin answered with a raised voice.

Mizore didn't seem to flinch at the son of Satan's tone. She just continued to twirl her lollipop in her mouth. "With what you did to Komiya, I can only assume you're a pretty powerful monster. I could practically feel your power seeping from your body from where I'm standing." Rin just continued to stay silent as Mizore continued talking. "That being said, I'd like to ask that you please stay away from Tsukune from now on."

"Huuuuh?!" Rin was taken aback at the request. "Stay away from Tsukune?! And why would I do that?!"

"Because I believe that you're a bad influence." Mizore answered. Hearing that made Rin grit his teeth in anger. "I fear that if Tsukune continues to hang around with someone like you, he'll get hurt...or worse. And I can't allow that."

"Okay, first off, the last person I would ever hurt is Tsukune. He was one of the first to ever accept me, despite what I am. He and the rest of my friends mean more to me than anything else, I would sooner die before I ever hurt any of them. And secondly, who are you, Tsukune's mom? You have no say over who he hangs out with."

"Be that as it may Rin Okumura, I believe you to be a danger to Tsukune."

"You know what, why do you even care so much? You don't even know Tsukune."

"Maybe not. But I believe Tsukune to be...special. I believe he's the only person at this school who can truly understand me. He and I are of a kind." Rin just raised an eyebrow, completely incapable of forming a sentence at how demented this girl was. Clearly she had some kind of obsession with his best friend. She narrowed her eyes at Rin. "That being said, I will not allow any harm to come to him. So I will ask again, please stay away from him from now on."

"How about you back the hell off and get off my ass. You're not the boss of me." Rin retorted bluntly. Mizore just sighed in annoyance. Suddenly, the air started to feel cold. Rin looked to the ground and noticed that it was starting to ice over. 'What the hell?! Ice?!' He thought before he looked at Mizore, where the ice was protruding the most. 'It's coming from Mizore.' Mizore's hair suddenly turned to ice and her eyes started to glow white. Ice formed around her hands, turning into claws. Rin could already tell where this was going. "Hey, whoa! Mizore, I know what you're thinking and it's a bad idea!" He said with a hand raised.

"I tried asking nicely, but it appears now you leave me no choice Rin Okumura. For Tsukune's sake, you have to go. But worry not, Moka Akashiya will follow soon after."

"Moka?!" Rin said out loud.

"Rin." Rin widened his eyes when he heard a familiar voice coming from behind him. He looked to see Kurumu happily running up to him, a cake in one hand and waving to him with the free one. "Hey Rin, fancy running into you-"

"Kurumu, stay back!" Rin yelled, stopping her. He dropped the bags he was carrying and took off towards Kurumu with the intent to protect her, but he didn't get very far. "GAAAAH!" Suddenly, Rin felt something freezing hit him in the back. Mizore fired a freezing blast from her hands and shot at Rin. Ice started to from around Rin, starting at his legs. The ice started to move up his body to the top of his head. Eventually, Rin was completely frozen in a block of ice. Seeing this horrified Kurumu as she dropped the cake in her hands.

"RIN!" the succubus yelled in fright and started to run towards her frozen destined one to try and help him. She stopped when Mizore stepped in front of her, stopping Kurumu in her tracks. Kurumu stared angrily at Mizore. "You bitch! What have you done to him?!"

"I apologize, but I tried to be nice, but he wouldn't do what I asked. So he gave me no choice." She responded. Hearing that didn't make Kurumu feel any better, she just continued to stare hatefully at the mysterious girl.

Kurumu extended her nails and brought out her wings. "How dare you! You'll pay for that!" She declared angrily.

"I have nothing against you, but if you stand in my way, I'll have no choice but to get rid of you too." Mizore responded pointing her claws at the succubus.

"Just try it you frozen hag!" The two were about to duke it until...

CRACK

The two girls heard a loud crack, followed by another. The sound looked to be coming from the frozen Rin. The ice that surrounded him also looked to be melting quickly and steam started to rise from the icy prison. It continued to crack and crack until finally...

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Rin roared loudly as ice scattered everywhere, causing the two girls to cover themselves from flying shards. Rin had burst from the ice, his blue flames partially burning on his body. He angrily glared at the girl who froze him in the first place, baring his teeth and snarling like an angry beast. Mizore herself looked to be terrified.

"My god!" Mizore quietly hiccuped. "Such power! And those flames! It can't be! You're-"

"HAAAH!" Before she could finish, Kurumu, who took advantage of the distraction, picked up a nearby rock and bashed Mizore on the head as hard as she could. Not a moment later, cracks appeared on Mizore and soon, she shattered into pieces, as if she were a glass vase that just fell to the ground and shattered. "Take that you damn snow skank!" She scoffed. With the danger gone, Rin dissipated his flames and quickly walked up to Kurumu and put his hands on her shoulders.

"Kurumu, are you alright? She didn't hurt you did she?" He asked, worry very evident in his voice.

Kurumu shook her head. "I should be asking you that Rin. Are you alright?" She asked, her tone sounding just as worried as Rin's.

Rin for his part just gave her a smile, relieved that Kurumu wasn't hurt in any way. "Don't worry about me Kurumu. It's gonna take a lot more than turning me into an ice sculpture to do me in." He replied. Kurumu giggled at his comment and hugged him, which Rin returned. The two demons looked at the broken ice shards that was once Mizore. Kurumu just stared angrily at the pieces while Rin looked at the pieces with a neutral expression.

"Tch! Just great!" Kurumu complained while staring at the destroyed cake on the ground not too far away from them. "I made that cake especially for you Rin and now it's completely ruined thanks to Frosty the Snow Skank!"

"Damn, she shattered into a million tiny little pieces. Safe to say that's a bit of a first for me."

"Something tells me she wasn't the real one."

"What do you mean 'real one'?" Rin asked confused.

"From the looks of it, I think this whacko is a snow woman." Kurumu deduced.

"A snow woman?"

"They're creatures of snow and ice that appear during snowstorms. Aside from controlling ice, making clones of themselves out of ice is another one of their tricks." She explained. "I also happen to know that they have a habit of kidnapping men they've taking a liking to."

"Well if that 'man' she's taken a liking to is Tsukune, then I think 'like' is way underselling it. I'd go as far as to say that she's borderline obsessed with him. She kept spouting on that 'Tsukune was important to her' and that 'I was a bad influence on him and I should stay away from him.'" Rin explained.

"Yep, that's a snow woman alright." Kurumu replied.

Rin exclaimed with wide eyes. "Oh shit!"

"What is it Rin?!"

"Kurumu, we have to get to the clubroom. I think this crazy chick is going after Moka next!"

"What makes you say that?"

"Before she froze me, she said that Moka would be joining me soon after!"

Kurumu widened her eyes in realization at another fact. "Oh no! And it's not just Moka. Tsukune might be at the clubroom with her along with Shiemi and Yukari. If they get in the way of Mizore going after Moka or trying to get to Tsukune..."

"We won't let that happen." Rin proclaimed with a serious tone. "Come on Kurumu, let's stop that nutcase before she hurts our friends or someone else for the matter!"

"Right!" Kurumu spouted her wings and wrapped her arms around Rin's chest. "Hold on tight Rin." She said before she took to the sky and the two demons headed for the clubroom to to stop Mizore from hurting their friends.

Newspaper Clubroom - Around the Same Time

In the Clubroom meanwhile, Moka, Shiemi and Yukari finished setting up for the rap party in the clubroom. The tables were placed where they wanted them and they were lined with the food everyone brought for the party. Everything from sweets to soda. It was shaping up to be a fun party once everyone arrived. As Shiemi and Yukari were putting on the finishing touches, Moka sat patiently at one of the tables, eagerly awaiting for the rest of the club to arrive. Although the one she was waiting in particular for was Tsukune.

"Hmmmmm"

"What's wrong Moka?" Yukari asked while putting bottles of soda on a table.

"They sure are late. I wonder what's taking them so long." She said.

"Yeah, you're right." Shiemi added. "Tsukune, Rin, and Kurumu sure are running late."

"I wouldn't worry. They're probably just running fashionably late. I'm sure they'll be here any second." Yukari said.

"Yeah I guess. I just hope they didn't run into any trouble." Moka replied with a worried tone. Not a moment later, she heard the door open, perking her up right away at the thought of Tsukune and the others finally arriving. When she looked to the door, her hope was dashed when she saw that instead of Tsukune, Rin, and Kurumu, she was greeted to the sight of Mizore standing in front of her. Yukari and Shiemi were also quite surprised at the girl's appearance.

"Mizore." Shiemi said.

"W-what are you doing here?" Moka asked hesitantly. "Where's-"

"Wait for Tsukune all day if you want to, he won't come. And neither will Rin Okumura for that matter." Mizore answered. She began slowly stepping towards Moka, nobody noticing droplets of water falling off of her. Hearing that immediately put the girls on edge.

"W-what do you mean by that?" Shiemi asked.

"Hold on. Did you do something to Tsukune and Rin?" Yukari angrily asked brandishing her wand and pointing it at Mizore. "Answer me!" Mizore stopped her advance and looked at Yukari, an angry glare present on the young witch's face. Mizore just said nothing, further infuriating Yukari. "Hey, answer me, now!"

"...You really need to learn to watch your tone." Mizore raised her hand and a blast of ice shot from her hand and right at Yukari. Ice began to form around Yukari's body, starting at her neck and moving down her body. Eventually, Yukari was encased in ice, frightening Moka and Shiemi.

""Yukari!"" They shouted in fright. Yukari fell on her back completely immobilized. Moka stared back to Mizore, anger present on her face. "Mizore, what have you done?! Why are you doing this?!" She asked angrily. Mizore continued walking towards Moka completely silent. When she was finally within distance of Moka, she extended both of her arms and wrapped her hands around Moka's neck. Forcing her to the ground, Mizore started to choke her.

"Moka!" Shiemi shouted. She ran up to her fallen friend to try and get Mizore off of her. Mizore however wasn't about to have Shiemi interfere either, so she fired an ice beam at the blonde tamer. Unlike Yukari, the ice only encased Shiemi at her legs and her stomach, effectively stopping Shiemi in her tracks.

"There, now no one will get in my way." Mizore replied, returning her attention to the vampire. Shiemi struggled to try and get out of the ice.

"Why-why are you doing this?" Moka managed to wheeze out.

"Why you ask?" Mizore asked rhetorically. "Because your a nuisance. That's why. If you and Rin OKumura weren't always hanging around with him, Tsukune would have been mine a long time ago."

Moka could feel how cold Mizore's hands were around her throat as Mizore tried to strangle her. Ice began to form around Moka's throat and was slowly creeping up the bottom of Moka's face. Moka struggled and struggled but to no avail as Mizore's grip didn't loosen at all. Moka believed that if she couldn't get free using her own strength, maybe she could force Mizore off of her. "Get off of me!" She swung her right hand and backhanded Mizore in the face. It result was a portion of Mizore's face was destroyed, shocking Moka and Shiemi as well. They could see that it looked as if Mizore was made of ice. Neither understanding what the hell was going on.

"Well, that was a nice try." Mizore replied. "But the me that you all see before you is nothing more than a puppet made of ice. I did a good job making it, don't you think?" Mizore took her right hand off Moka's neck and raised it. Suddenly the are transformed into a long, thin blade of ice. "I'm sorry, but now it's time for you to die." Mizore said in a cold tone as she pointed her blade towards Moka's face. "You see Moka? In order for me to get what I desire, you have to go." Readying her blade, Mizore prepared to kill Moka.

"Mizore, please don't do this!" Shiemi tried to plea, but it fell on deaf ears.

"Goodbye, Moka Akashiya."

"TSUKUNE, RIN, HELP!" Moka shouted.

CRASH

Right on queue, Rin burst through the window, surprising everyone in the room. As Kurumu and Rin were approaching the room, Rin could see that Mizore was about to kill Moka. Knowing there wasn't anytime to got to the clubroom from the front entrance, Rin instructed Kurumu to throw him through the window. She did so and sent Rin flying though the air and straight through the window. Rin flew towards the Mizore clone with a cocked fist.

"GET OFF OF HERRRRRR!" He roared as he threw a punch. His punch landed right square into the ice clone's face, knocking her off of Moka and straight for the wall behind her. The ice clone hit the wall hard and just like her other counterpart, she shattered into pieces as if she were made of fragile glass. Landing on the ground, Rin stared angrily at the shattered clone. "I usually make it a point not to hit women. But I can make an exception this once." He said. He looked at Moka with a relieved expression. "Moka, are you alright?"

Moka put a hand to her throat and coughed a couple times before she answered. "I'm fine now Rin, thanks to you." She replied gratefully. Kurumu soon entered the room as well through the window. She looked at Moka and was relieved that her friend was alright. She looked to the other side of the room and noticed that Shiemi and Yukari were frozen, shocking her.

"Oh my god! Shiemi, Yukari!" She shouted. Rin saw this as well and jumped right in to help the two frozen girls.

"Kurumu, go help Moka. I'll get Shiemi and Yukari." Kurumu immediately nodded at her destined one's request and went straight to help the vampiress. Rin's first stop was Shiemi, who shot Rin a sincere smile, relieved that he was alright. "Shiemi, are you alright?" Rin asked.

"I'm fine Rin. Just a little cold is all" She replied. She then looked to Yukari, as did Rin. Rin couldn't help but feel angered at what Mizore had done to his friends. If he had gotten to the clubroom quicker, none of this would have happened.

"Dammit." He cursed. "If only that other clone didn't distracted us-"

"Rin, don't blame yourself. This isn't your fault." Shiemi assured. "Please help Yukari first, she got it worse than I did." Rin simply nodded his head and went to the witch. Yukari was shivering badly from being encased entirely in ice. She shot a look to her surrogate older brother.

"S-s-s-so c-c-c-cold. Rin, p-please." She barely blurted out.

"Don't say anything Yukari, I'll get you out of there in no time." He put his hand on the ice and concentrated. Eventually his hand caught fire. Soon after, the ice began melting quickly and cracks began forming on it. After a few moments, the icy prison that held Yukari shattered to pieces, freeing her. Yukari sat up and hugged herself trying to warm herself up. Rin took of his jacket and draped it over Yukari. "It's okay. You're gonna be alright." Yukari just continued to shiver. After freeing Yukari, Rin went to Shiemi. He put his hands on Shiemi's legs and concentrated. Just like the prison that held Yukari, the ice on Shiemi's legs shattered to pieces as well. Being frozen in ice, Shiemi's legs went numb. She couldn't stand anymore and she fell to her knees, but she was caught by Rin.

"Shiemi, are you alright?"

"Yeah Rin. I'm...fine." Shiemi looked up and realized how close she was to his face. Being held the way she was by him, suddenly, she felt a thump in her chest and a warm sensation shortly after. Shiemi's mind was a million miles away as she tried to comprehend how she was feeling right now. She put a hand to her chest and felt her heart pounding in her chest. 'There's something wrong with me. Why does my heart feel like it's about to burst out of my chest?'

"Shiemi?" She was shaken from her thoughts when Rin called her name.

"What? Oh, I-I'm fine Rin. My legs just..feel a little numb is all." She affirmed. Rin helped her up off the ground and took her to a chair to for her to sit down.

"You sure?"

"Don't worry, I didn't get it as bad as Yukari. I just don't understand, why would Mizore do this?"

"Because she's crazy obsessed with Tsukune. She apparently thinks Moka and I aren't good enough to be around him so she sent these ice clones to do us in." Rin answered setting Shiemi on a chair.

"But why would Mizore think that?" Moka asked sitting down.

"Why else Moka?" Kurumu retorted. "Because that snow skank is bat shit crazy!" Kurumu replied.

After setting Shiemi down on a chair, Rin went to get Yukari. He picked her up and carried her to the vacant chair next to Shiemi, placing the young genius next to her. Rin looked around and noticed that they were short one person. "Wait, where is Tsukune?!" He asked.

"We don't know." Moka answered. "He wasn't here when we got here. We've been waiting him, you and Kurumu to arrive so we can start the party."

"That's when Mizore came and attacked us." Shiemi added.

Both Kurumu and Rin widened their eyes in shock realizing that if Tsukune wasn't at the clubroom, then that meant only one thing.

"Oh no!" Exclaimed Kurumu before she looked to Rin. "Rin, if Tsukune isn't here, then that means-"

"That Jack Frost ripoff already got to him!" Rin finished. Hearing that, shock and fear soon plastered the faces of the other girls, particularly Yukari and Moka.

"Wha-what are we gonna do?!" Yukari yelped frantically.

"We have to save him!" Moka added. The two girls practically bolted out of their chairs and run for the door to rescue their friend/love interest, but they didn't get far.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, no you don't." Rin said putting his hand up to stop them. "You two aren't going anywhere except to the infirmary to get checked out."

"But Rin-"

"No buts Moka. You, Yukari, and Shiemi were almost turned into icicles, you three aren't going anywhere near her again. That's why I'm going to go find him."

"Rin, wait. I'll come with you. We'll have a better chance at finding Tsukune if we take to the skies." Kurumu suggested.

"No way!" Rin exclaimed. "Kurumu, it's gonna be dangerous-"

"We don't have time to argue Rin. I'm going to help you and that's that!"

Rin gritted his teeth in annoyance. Kurumu already had a brush with Mizore once already, but luckily for him he managed to free himself from his predicament and stopped any kind of fight from happening between them. However he soon realized that she was right and that there was no time for arguing. Mizore had Tsukune and Lord knows what she was doing with him. So with no other choice, he agreed with Kurumu's suggestion.

"...Alright, you can help, but you keep your distance. I'm not going to risk you getting hurt in all this." Rin said. Kurumu smiled and nodded her head.

"Rin." Moka spoke out.

"Don't worry about us Moka. I got the firepower to stand against Mizore." Rin affirmed with a confident smirk.

"Yeah, we'll stop that snow skank from turning Tsukune into an ice sculpture." Kurumu added with her own confident smirk.

Moka was silent for a moment. She wasn't okay with Rin and Kurumu going to try and save Tsukune by themselves let alone just sitting around doing nothing. However, she knew that Rin had a point, his powers with fire would give him an edge over the snow woman. So with any further argument, she nodded her head at the two demons.

"Alright. We'll leave saving Tsukune to you two." Moka said, which made Rin nod his head.

"But Rin, what will you do when you come face to face with Mizore?" Shiemi asked.

"I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Right now saving Tsukune is the priority."

"Alright, let's go." Kurumu brought out her wings as she and Rin went to the window. Grabbing Rin from behind, the two demons prepared to go rescue their friend.

"Rin. Kurumu." Shiemi called out, making the two look at her. "...Be careful." She said worryingly. Rin and Kurumu just grinned and nodded their heads. Eventually, they took off to rescue Tsukune. Shiemi put her hand to her chest and felt her heart pounding quickly once again. At first she thought it was out of worry, but then she recalled the moment when Rin released her from the ice and how she felt when Rin held her close. 'My heart is pounding again. Why? Why is this happening?' She thought. Suddenly, her eyes widened. 'Oh no! Could it be...am I falling for Rin?' She closed her eyes and shook her head. 'No. No, that can't be. I mean I like Rin sure, but as a friend. Kurumu and I are good friends and I know she really likes Rin and I told her I would stay out of her way of pursuing Rin. If I end up having feelings for Rin too, it will be like I'm betraying her. What should I do?'

"Shiemi?" Shiemi snapped out of it when she heard her name. She looked to see it was Moka. "Shiemi, are you okay?" Moka asked concerned.

"Oh, I-I-I-I'm fine Moka. I'm just worried about them." She falsely replied.

"Don't worry." Moka affirmed with a smile. "Rin and Kurumu are as tough as they come. I have nothing but faith that they'll be just fine."

"I hope so Moka." Shiemi somberly said. "I hope so."

The Forest Outside the School

A portion of the woods could be seen covered in snow and ice. Even the lake had frozen over. To some, it would look like a winter wonderland, but for Tsukune, it was anything but. After class had gotten out that day, Tsukune met up with Rin and the girls to discuss their plans to meet up at the rap party they were throwing themselves. After everyone made their plans to meet up at the clubroom for the party. Before he could leave to do his own thing, he felt someone watching him. His instincts were right when Mizore revealed herself. She had come to return the newspaper Tsukune had given to her earlier that morning, saying that she was a big fan of his work, surprising the boy greatly. She even showed him a scrapbook where she kept various clippings that had various things written around them. Things that would be written by someone with something of an obsession for someone. This greatly made Tsukune uncomfortable to the point of being somewhat terrified, he thought that Mizore was some kind of a stalker.

Mizore went on to tell Tsukune how she admires how he writes from the point of view of the weak and the helpless. Even saying that somehow she could relate somehow. She believed that Tsukune was lonely and that she knew how he felt. Before long, Mizore took him to the lake in the woods to skip rocks. Tsukune figured she wasn't as bad as he thought and decided to indulge her in some simple, innocent fun. It was getting late and he knew the party would start soon, so he tried to take his leave, but Mizore stopped him. She spouted that all Tsukune had to do was to be hers, immediately sending up some red flags so he tried to get away from her, but to no avail. Mizore managed to throw him across the frozen lake.

Tsukune slid across to the other side of the lake. "Whoaaaa! Oof!" He yelped in pain as he came to a stop. He propped himself back up to see Mizore coming towards him. "Mizore, why are you doing this?" He asked

"I'm not going to let you get away from me." The enigmatic girl answered as she approached Tsukune. Mizore's appearance had changed slightly. She was still in her human form but her hair had turned to icicles and her hands froze over and took the shape of claws. A cold and icy wind could be seen coming off of her. Tsukune even saw ice beginning to form at her sides as she walked by. Seeing this made Tsukune eyes widen in both astonishment and fear. He hadn't seen a monster like Mizore before and wondered what in the world she was.

"What the hell are you?"

"You've really never seen a snow woman before?" Mizore asked in a surprised tone. "I have the power to bend ice to my will and make it do whatever I want." Tsukune looked to the ground and saw some ice starting to come towards him. He managed to jump out of the way before the ice could even touch him. He had the training Rin had given him to thank for that. He looked at Mizore with an intense glare. "My, you're quite light on your feet, aren't you?"

"Mizore, stop this now! This is starting to go too far!"

"Tsukune, why don't you understand? We were drawn together because we're both so terribly lonely. I feel the connection between us. I think you and I can understand each other. Just embrace me and we can warm each other's frozen hearts."

Tsukune couldn't comprehend what Mizore was talking about but knew that the situation was starting to turn dangerous. 'Guess I have no other choice.' He thought. Tsukune rolled up his left sleeve and concentrated. The mark that Miyamoto had given him to summon him soon appeared on Tsukune's arm. With the mark, all Tsukune needed now was some of his blood. He bit his right thumb and swiped it vertically across the mark, leaving a streak of blood on the tattoo. Before he could summon Miyamoto, he thought he should give Mizore one last chance to stop.

"Mizore, I'm warning you. If you don't stop right now, I won't have a choice." He warned.

"Tsukune, why do you resist?" She asked, a somewhat psychotic smile present on her face. "Just let me encase your body in ice. Once that happens , you won't be going anywhere ever again. And then you'll be mine and mine alone."

With that, Tsukune knew trying to talk to her wouldn't get him anywhere. "You know, I really don't like to have to resort to force, but I guess you leave me no choice Mizore. I'm sorry." He apologized before he slammed his left hand on the ice. "Come forth, Miyamoto!" Suddenly a swirl of black smoke shot from the place where his hand was, stopping Mizore in her tracks. When the smoke dissipated, Mizore saw a black armor clad demonic knight stand in front Tsukune in a protective stance. Seeing the demon surprised Mizore greatly.

Miyamoto looked behind him to see his master. "You summoned me, Master Tsukune?" He said in a light tone.

Tsukune for his part smiled at his new protector. "Sorry for calling you out so suddenly, but I got myself in a bit of a jam."

Miyamoto looked back to Mizore and narrowed his eyes at the snow woman. "I can see that. And a snow woman on top of it. It seems to me that you attract a great deal of creatures to you."

"Oh wow Tsukune." Mizore said in astonishment. "I never would have thought you had the power to summon demons to you beck and call. That only shows how truly amazing you are."

"What are your orders, Master Tsukune?"

"It looks like talking to her is a waste of time Miyamoto." Tsukune began. "So we're gonna have to scare her into stopping. So Miyamoto, don't kill Mizore, only intimidate her. If we can get her to stand down, we can end this without any more trouble."

Miyamoto nodded his head and bowed slightly. "By your command my master." Miyamoto started walking towards Mizore, making Mizore get in a defensive position. "Snow woman, I am Miyamoto of the 666th Inferno Legion and protector to Tsukune Aono. I am only going to warn you once, leave now while you have the chance. It will only end badly if try to stand against me."

Mizore silently glared at the obstacle before her. "...You're in my way." Mizore brought up her hand and fired ice shards towards the demon knight. "Get lost!"

The ice shards managed to hit their mark, but it was for naught. The moment they touched Miyamoto's armor, they shattered into pieces. And to add to the futility, they didn't even leave a mark on him. Seeing that frightened Mizore greatly, causing her to back up away a few steps.

"N-no way! His armor destroyed my ice so easily!" She exclaimed.

Miyamoto simply wiped away where his armor was hit like it was nothing and looked at Mizore with contempt. "You dare attack me?" He chastised. "Did you really believe you stood a chance against someone who is leagues far above you? Hmph, you are either daring or foolish."

Mizore gritted her teeth in anger as she stood her ground against the demonic knight. "I won't let anyone stand in the way of me and Tsukune. He and I were destined to meet. We are the same, he and I. We belong together." She barked.

Miyamoto scoffed at the girl's delusional statement. "You truly are delusional, snow woman. My master gave me the order not to kill you and I will do my utmost to obey his command. So, I offer you this one final time." He held out his hand. "Leave now and I will forgive any and all transgression you have made here. However..." He balled his hand into a fist to illustrate how serious he was. "if you refuse, I swear to you here and now, I will not hold back. I will crush you."

Mizore defiantly continued to stand against her opponent. Having witnessed the demon knight's power first hand after that burst of energy, she knew that she was no match for Miyamoto. Despite her legs shaking in fear, Mizore wasn't going to let anyone or anything get in the way of her getting to Tsukune. She got into an offensive stance as did Miyamoto.

"So be it then."

"TSUKUNE!"

Before a rumble could go down between the snow woman and the demon knight, everyone looked to see Rin and Kurumu flying towards them. Tsukune smiled at seeing his best friend again, even Miyamoto shot a smile and a nod to Rin.

"But how?" Mizore asked displeased. "My puppet should have gotten rid of you Rin Okumura."

"Sorry to disappoint snow skank!" Kurumu sneered. "But Rin isn't the type of guy who you can kill so easily."

"If you really wanted to get rid of me that badly, you should have come after me yourself. I'm actually a little offended you sent one of your little dolls to do your dirty work." Rin retorted as he and Kurumu continued towards their friends. Mizore angrily unleashed more of her ice powers by sending sharpened stalagmites towards the two demons.

"You stay out of my way!" Mizore yelled angrily. Kurumu managed to dodge the attack and dropped Rin right beside Miyamoto. Rin performed a superhero landing right next to Miyamoto while Kurumu landed next to Tsukune.

"Ah, the young prince. Good to see you again." Miyamoto greeted the half blood with a smile.

"What up, Miyamoto." Rin greeted back with a grin. His grin disappeared when he eyed Mizore, glaring at her intensely. He looked over is shoulder to see Kurumu helping Tsukune back up on his feet. "You alright Tsukune? She didn't hurt you did she?" He asked his best friend.

"I'm fine Rin. Don't worry about me." Tsukune assured. Tsukune suddenly remembered that Mizore told him that Moka wouldn't be around for much longer and widened his eyes in fright. "Rin, Moka and the others-"

"Don't worry about them, Tsukune, they're all fine." Rin said, relieving Tsukune greatly. Rin's gaze returned to Mizore as he took out Kurikara from his sword bag.

"So Moka Akashiya still lives as well?" Mizore gritted her teeth in annoyance. "Tch, you are really starting to become a thorn in my side Rin Okumura. Quite frankly, I'm sick of it."

"Yeah well, I aim to please." Rin retorted facetiously.

"This is starting to get annoying. All of you trying to get in the way of the true love between Tsukune and myself is getting on my last nerve. You all need to just disappear. Especially you, Rin Okumura." Mizore raised her claws and pointed them at the son of Satan. "I've had enough."

"'True love between Tsukune and you.' You are one seriously messed up chick, you know that?" Rin gripped the handle of Kurikara. "And I think it's time you get a dose of reality." Rin unsheathed his sword and became engulfed in his blue flames once again. Seeing this made Mizore back away a few steps in fear.

"Those-those flames! It can't be, the flames of Satan! The stories about him are true!" Mizore exclaimed. Rin just remained silent and continued to stare daggers at Mizore. "I knew your power felt strange when I first met you, but I never would have thought you were a spawn of a monster like Satan. You truly are a bad seed Okumura and nothing but a bad influence on Tsukune."

"Shut up you psycho snow angel! You don't know me." Rin angrily replied.

"What's there to know? Your father is Satan, by far the most evil creature to ever exist. It only stands to reason that you, as his son, were born bad too."

"Ohohohoho, here we go, here we go. Everybody drinks the kool-aid now. All the kids and adults I know back in my hometown, you, the stupid clown Mephisto, all my so-called friends back at True Cross. All because of who my father is, everyone thinks I'm some kind of a threat. You know, everyone here is some kind of monster, yet I'm the only one to get singled out because that filthy beast Satan is my father! Go to Hell Shiraiyuki!"

"I heard the stories about Satan!" Mizore retorted. "Satan is truly an evil and vile monster. A monster who kills without any kind of reason other than that he simply could. Satan is as evil as they come and his offspring all take after him."

"Is that what you think or is this what you got from a book?" Rin asked. "Get a damn clue Shirayuki, books aren't always reliable."

After Mizore's last comment, Tsuukune finally had enough of her slanderous accusations against Rin and decided to step in in Rin's defense. "You got that right!" Tsukune interjected. He walked in front of Rin, a serious scowl on his face. "Mizore, you don't know the first damn thing about Rin. All these things you're saying about him are nothing but lies. Rin is nothing like Satan." Mizore was wide eyed in surprise to hear Tsukune defend him.

"Tsukune, you're defending him?"

"You're damn right I am! Rin isn't evil in the slightest. I mean, sure, he's a little impulsive and gets into fights sometimes."

"Hey!"

"But that doesn't matter. Rin is my best friend. He's honest, kind, compassionate, and fiercely loyal to the people he cares about. When you're feeling down about something, he's always the first one to try and make you feel better." Tsukune rolled his hand into a fist. "I owe Rin my life in more ways than one. I wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for him." He pointed a finger at Mizore. "And I won't stand by and let you slander him any longer." He said with fire in his voice.

Rin smiled at Tsukune's words as did Kurumu. Even Miyamoto could't help but smile at his master for defending his friend. 'Hmhm. Master Tsukune, jumping in in defense of your closest friend. I expected no less from you. You remind me so much of Hideki.' He thought.

Mizore started to shiver. "But, but Tsukune-"

"Enough!" Tsukune interrupted. "You have no further business here Mizore. Leave us be!"

Hearing that was the last straw for Mizore as her eyes began to tear up. "So then...you're rejecting me?! You don't care about my feelings? Tsukune, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!" She let out a bone chilling wail as a white mist surrounded her, blowing furiously around the area, causing Rin, Tsukune, Miyamoto, and Kurumu to cover their faces. Once the mist dissipated, Mizore was nowhere in sight. With the danger subsided, everyone let out a sigh of relief, thankful that it was over. Rin sheathed his sword, making his flames disappear. Everyone soon got of the frozen lake and headed for solid ground.

"Oh man, that was intense." Tsukune said. He looked to Miyamoto. "Sorry I couldn't have you do a little more since I called you out here Miyamoto ." Tsukune apologized. Miyamoto simply shook his head.

"Worry not, I told you that I would be your sword and your shield. You are free to call upon me anytime you wish." He assured and bowed before him, which Tsukune returned. "If you have no further need for me, I shall return to my domain. Til I am summoned again, I bid you all farewell." Like last time, Miyamoto disappeared in a cloud of black smoke and returned from whence he came. Tsukune then turned to Rin and Kurumu with a smile.

"Thanks for coming to help me guys."

Rin returned the smile and put his hand on Tsukune's shoulder. "Any time pal. And Tsukune...thanks for what you said. It really means a lot, especially coming from you."

"Of course Rin. I wouldn't have said any of those things it they weren't true."

"I gotta say Tsukune" Kurumu said walking up to the human. "you're certainly becoming more confident lately. I never would thought you had it in you. Good for you." She said lightly tapping his back. Tsukune's cheeks turned pink from the compliment.

"Oh, well uhhhh...I guess it's all the training I've been getting. I think it's really giving me more confidence." He let out an embarrassed chuckle. Rin and Kurumu chuckled along with him.

"Well come on. Let's head back and check in on the others." Rin suggested.

"Good idea, let's get going." Tsukune said with Kurumu nodding her head in agreement. With that, the three headed off back to the school to check on their friend. Tsukune looked behind him at the spot where Mizore had disappeared from and couldn't help but think why was she acting the was she did. He was no one special and this girl told him that she was special to her. He wondered why she would think something like that. It was true that she tried to hurt his friends and turn him into an ice sculpture and Lord knows that will take a long time to forgive her for, if he will at all, but somehow he couldn't help but think there was more to Mizore than what it seemed. He would have to ponder about that later as he needed to make sure Moka and the other girls were okay.

And finally done with part one of the Mizore introduction. This one was a pain in the ass to get done, but I did it. Thank you all for your patience, you all rock. So as mentioned above, I apologize for making this a two parter and make seem like I'm being lazy, but I really want to get another chapter of this fiction out for all the readers. This was a long chapter and I had to work to make everything fit together. And I wanted to give Miyamoto some screen time. If there is something I could have better, please let me know in the comments. Again, nothing to mean, I am open to suggestions and ideas. If you think I need to do it all in one go,do let me know. Otherwise, the next chapter will conclude the Mizore intro. And also, with this chapter, The Son of Satan in Yokai Academy has officially made it over the 100k word mark, which is a real milestone in my book. Woohoo!

So anyway, this chapter, we see that the Aono household has Mephisto Pheles over for dinner and it appears Koji has a history with him. What could it be I wonder. And it also seems Shiemi is starting to devolop feelings for Rin, but will she be able to suppress them since she said she would stay out of Kurumu's way so she could pursue him. Guess we'll find out further down the road. Next chapter, the Mizore intro comes to a close as Rin comes face to face with a certain perverted gym teacher who will stop at nothing to get his hands on Mizore. This chapter will follow the manga portion. And also, Koji Aono's past with Mephisto Pheles will be explained in the next chapter. I hope you all look forward to the next chapter and I promise I will get it out as soon as possible. Next time on The Son of Satan in Yokai Academy, Chapter 12: A Snow Woman's Anguish. So read, review, and as always, everyone continue to stay awesome. And also a big shout out to everyone still working during this pandemic. Keep up the awesome work. TravyMcNavy184 signing off.
