"Come on!" Jasmine urged in a whisper, pulling on Ariel's arm as the two princesses headed for the castle door. After meeting with Ariel today, Jasmine's father had insisted that the two princesses join in the banquet that evening. However, neither princess wished to attend. Jasmine had offered to show Ariel around the Arabian town once their meeting was over, and Ariel, being always curious, had eagerly agreed and looked forward to it all day.

When the Sultan's back was turned, Jasmine had bolted out the door of the room, grabbing Ariel as they went. Contrary to Jasmine's soft flats, Ariel's small heels made a clacking sound as she walked across the tiled floor, so Jasmine motioned for the redhead to take them off. With brief hesitation, Ariel did, making the two petite princesses very silent.

In a few stop-and-go motions, the pair finally reached the castle door, unseen. Jasmine tried as quietly as she could go open the heavy mahogany door, but it was so old that it creaked loudly when opened, attracting all the guards' attentions.

The head guard appeared, as well as a few others, and starting walking briskly towards the two stealthy princesses. "Your Majesties!" he called to them. "You must not leave!"

On that note, Jasmine and Ariel slipped out the door and broke into a run, hearing the guards hurry after them. Ariel struggled to hold her heels in one hand and her dress in the other as she ran, quickly becoming out of breath. Jasmine led them to a wall that seemed to separate the palace from the town.

"Just follow me," Jasmine instructed, calling to her pet tiger for assistance. Ariel paused briefly when seeing the large animal run towards the princess but knew the guards would catch up soon. The tiger seemed to lift Jasmine high enough for her to scale the wall. Following her lead, Ariel carefully was lifted over the wall, just as the guards reached the tiger. But Ariel and Jasmine were on the other side, out of reach of the guards.

The duo took a deep breath and looked at each other, giggling. Now they were free to explore the busy Arabian town.
