"Aha!" Bruce said as his helmet came down. "You guys are so screwed now!"
"Bring me Thanos!" Thor shouted going into battle.
Jessica snapped out of her vision, "Thor..." she trailed off and looked at Loki. "...he's alive. They're battling him now." Jessica paused for a moment and reached out and touched Loki's arm. "We need to do something "
Jessica sat there meditating trying to find strange, she needed to reach him. Ten minutes went by and Jessica could feel her stress levels rising, 'no Jessica,' she thought to herself. 'Calm down.' Jessica sighed and tried to find her zen once more. After a few breaths her surroundings started spinning, blurring and zooming in and out until she was in the abyss with strange.
"Where are you?" Jessica asked him, she hadn't seen Stephen like this before. He was anxious, rubbing his eyes with his hand.
"We're on our way back to wakanda Jess," he said, "do you know the plan?" Jessica nodded, "good, I've seen over 14,000 version and this is the only way."
Jessica went to ask more questions but he disappeared. Jessica opened her eyes and saw Loki staring at her.
"We need to go" she told him.
Loki was silent, he smiled weakly at her and nodded. Jessica calmed her mind, this would be a challenge for her. Under any normal circumstances she would never try this, but Loki was here and this was something he was quite good at. "Are you ready?" He asked, Jessica holding his arm in her hand. "Remember the plan?"
"Lets hope this works." Jessica nodded, now grabbing Loki's other arm with her other hand. "To wakanda!" They both shouted and as that happened a portal opened underneath them, the spiral glowing and they fell through. Jessica felt Loki and her mind were connecting as he helped navigate them through this teleportation.
"Now." Loki said and Jessica reopened her portal.
Bolts of light came flooding down onto the ground in wakanda. The light disappeared and Jessica and Loki could see the battle commencing around them. She looked down at her hands and up at Loki - recognising the familiar face of herself. "It worked." She mumbled. Loki had been able to transform himself into her and by the looks of it she was able to do the same.
"Brother!" Thor's voice could be heard booming through the battlefield, Jessica looked over to Loki who shot her a look. "Jessica..." Thor said a bit more quieter looking at Loki - which made Jessica feel slightly weird. She watched as Loki looked at Thor and then turned his back and commended to battle. Jessica watched Thor sigh and fly up with his axe rejoining the battle.
Thor's pov
He continued battling, feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders. He would not let Thanos win, he was a better warrior than that. His dad has trained him better than that, his mother would have expected better. In fact even to the lines that Asgard deserved better than that. He could see his brother battling in the distance and he thought how strange it was - in all the years they had battled together - over a 1000 in fact he had never battled like that. He wouldn't have called it clumsy - but it was very similar to how his fellows avengers fought.
Thor looked towards Jessica and it made him wondered what had gone on since he was gone. How had she learnt to fight like that.
'Oh shit' Jessica thought to herself, she was seriously overwhelmed right now. She knew that she would never want to be an avenger, in fact she wanted to go home and eat some ice cream.
She knew that when Thanos had taken her that her life would have never been the same. It's just when she looks back on her memories - he had been nothing but kind to her, strict - he had trained her to fight and ebony had awoken the gift that was inside her. But then after several months Thanos had changed and Jessica found herself scared of him. The children of Thanos - or however they wanted to call themselves didn't like the fact that Jessica did not see Thanos' way of living. When she had heard about it she needed to leave and that's when she escaped.
When she had found her way back she found strange and he nurtured her gift and showed her friendship. She had been traumatised - and once she had found her strength again she went looking for Tony to only find that the headlines were that he was going to be getting married pepper. Heartbroken - earth shattering heartbreak.
Steve - no where to be seen. No idea how to contact him. That could also be the same for Bucky.
Clint - missing. And Thor - who would have even known where to start.
Jessica pulled herself out of her thoughts when she saw Natasha and the spear woman about to get run over by one of the Threshers. Jessica took a deep breath and channeled her energy - she could feel her hands glowing as she lifted the thrasher up and threw it in to a charging mob of outriders. Jessica looked at Natasha who looked absolutely shocked, "us girls have got to stick together," she said simply and Natasha smirked.
"Wouldn't really say you were much girl power Loki"
Jessica internally groaned and shout herself back into the air to join another battle. She needed to get out of there. She couldn't mess this up.
After a while of what felt like forever Jessica realised that the outlanders were retreated. "Loki," she asked him as she approached closer to him, "why are they retreating?" The wind started changing and it suddenly felt eerie.
"We have in coming." Loki told her
Loki and Jessica made their way to where Steve, Natasha and Sam had gone. Jessica watched as her friends fell one by one.
"Stop," Loki shouted to thanos moving away from Jessica, thanos turned round.
"Ah childe, you have returned to me." Thanos said, "and I see you have bought the time stone."
"You want it," Loki told him, "you have to fight me." He said conjuring up knives into his hands and leaping into fight him. He managed to get one knife into him but was thrown into a tree where he was just forced to stay - feet not touching the ground.
"Now I don't want to do this," thanos said, "but I need that stone Jessica, now you're going to give it to me." His grip on Loki tightened and it was clear he was losing air.
"Loki, no!" Jessica shouted to him as she ran towards them. The time stone shining as Jessica channeled it's power.
"What?" Thanos said and he looked back to the tree and Jessica and turned to Loki and Loki who was running up to them now was Jessica.
Jessica threw her magical abilities towards thanos, trapping him into different dimensions. She used so much of her strength, so much power. She didn't know how much longer she could hold out.
"What's going on?" The raccoon shouted, the sky was going grey and the wind picked up.
"We have another incoming." Steve shouted ◦
