Early in the morning of Axel Town, where the sun is just about to rise, our main protagonist, Tsukiyo, was taking a jog...around the walls of Axel…
After the events that happened with The Guild, Tsukiyo has taken the initiative to get serious about his training.
Despite his efforts against the Conqueror of the Fire Hell, Berial, Tsukiyo blames himself for not being strong enough to take him down.
Especially when this led to the retirement of an old hunting team.So far, it's been about 3 days since Tsukiyo resolved himself to get better, without my help.
Tsukiyo's own training has consisted of a jog in the morning (which sometimes lasted 2 hours), 50 push ups and sit ups, some basic sword training with a sword he bought, and finally ending with him trying to summon and send the spectral swords the way I taught him to. I tried to help, but he seems keen on working on this himself.
After everything that's happened, Tsukiyo's stats took some boost;

Tsukiyo's been pretty hard at work lately, but at times he seems to push himself too far…
At times in his training, there will be ties where he will do more harm to his body rather than good. Skipping breaks, trying to push his body past his limits, and generally getting frustrated at his own faults.
This mainly stems from his newly forged grudge against Berial.
The fact that he was able to walk away from a fight after doing what he did to Turok and the others left a really bad taste in Tsukiyo's mouth.
Tsukiyo vowed that he'd get him someday, even if it took him years to find, he'd find and kill him.Whether or not this mentality will help or harm him later on is up to him, I'll decide to step in when I consider it necessary…
...but I have a sneaking suspicion that things will take a turn for the worse.
I hope that he doesn't take the same path I once did.
Vergil Log - Day #480
I set down the book and pen that I used on a table near me as I laid on the couch of my old home.
Still though, the appearance of both The Toads and the Fire Demon Berial….it's all too peculiar to me…
Is it really possible that these creatures are coming from the Imposter, Kosuke, or are they coming from another entity?
The fact that Kosuke is aware of them, debunks the latter idea, but it is a possibility since Berial was nowhere near Kosuke, and vice-versa…
...And then there's that V character…
I stood up from where I sat and walked up to one of the book cases near me. I pulled my hand out and pulled out a thin, but slightly worn book, one from my childhood.
The book cover was nothing special, just a leather cover with the letter V engraved onto it.
Almost an exact replica of the book V had…
I remember this book from my childhood, despite being almost 9 years old, I was able to roam around my neighborhood as if I was a regular adult. And it was at that time, where I found the book store where I got this book.
It was strange.
Despite it being a well populated neighborhood, it was almost always empty with me being the only customer.
I opened the book to its first page. Majority of the stories in this book were poems, and most of them were written by a poet named William Blake.
I flipped through the pages of the book, before stopping halfway through.

Back to Tsukyo's Point of View…
I panted from exhaustion as both my mind and my body was tired from today's training.
So far, I'm slowly getting closer and closer to getting the basics of the spectral sword down. I've managed to get its shape down, but I just can't get it to go fast enough.
I summoned the spectral sword one more time as I aimed for the tree that was near the mansion. I carved a makeshift target onto the tree with my sword, and constantly tried to send the swords at it.
There were small stab marks all around the target that was carved in, but not a single one managed to hit the bullseye or somewhere close to it.
Just before I was about to summon another sword and send it to the tree, the front doors to the mansion opened. From it, Darkness came out and took a peek at my training like she has done for the past couple of days.
"Morning." I said to her.
"Morning." She replied back happily.
Darkness has been waking up early just to watch me either work out or work on my spectral sword skills.
"You're always working so hard, you should at least take a break." She told me.
"Don't worry, I will." I said as I focused and summoned another sword. I launched this one as if I was throwing a dart and almost got to the 3rd middle ring.
"Here." Darkness said as she pulled out a small towel. I don't know where she pulled this one out of but I'm not gonna question it too much.
"Thanks." I said as I took the towel and wiped away some of the sweat on my head and face.
There was a bit of an awkward silence as I wiped my face from sweat, but Darkness broke the silence as she brought something up.
"I think you should take a break from training...at least for a day." she said.
"I wish I could, but I don't think I can." I replied back.
"Tsukiyo, I know you want vengeance on that Demon that retired Turok and his team, but you've been working really hard these past few days. Take a break from training, for me, please?" She asked.
I was a bit hesitant to actually stop training, but since Darkness is getting concerned for me….
"Alright, I guess I can stop training for today." I said as I gave in.
"Thank you, Tsukiyo." Darkness said as she gave me a light hug.
"I don't think you want to hug me, I smell pretty bad." I said trying not to get too close.
"I don't mind." she replied back as she got closer.
"Alright, alright. Let me take a shower first, then you can cling on as much as you can." I said as I pried her arms away from my body.
"Y-yeah, go do that." She said while lightly blushing.
I found it a bit strange that she was blushing while she said that, but decided to ignore it for the most part as I headed inside and towards the bathroom.
...but that's when it happened…
So far, I was minding my own business and washing off the sweat that was built up for the last 3-4 hours.
I heard the door from the outside open and close, "I'm in here, get out." I said loud enough.
I didn't get a response.
"Don't make me use my spectral swords on you as a training dummy. Kazuma if this is you, I'm gonna post you up and paint a bullseye on you." I threatened, "So you better get the hell out."
Still no response.
"Alright, target dummy it is." I said as I stood up and was about to head to the door before it opened.
"Ok, kazuma. Get ready for some broken-" I stopped dead in my tracks and rushed back to the stool I was sitting on with my towel.
"Lalatina, what the hell." I said as I faced away from her.
I couldn't see much before I rushed back, but I was able to see a small flash of blond hair and that she was covering herself up with a towel.
"I-I'm sorry, Tsukiyo. I thought I'd wash your back after seeing you work hard these past days." Darkness said almost in a whimper.
"But why?" I asked.
"I remember K-K-Kazuma saying that washing the back of your l-l-loved ones is a great method to relieve s-stress, s-s-so…" She said while stuttering.
"Why are you still listening to Kazuma?! You know everything he says is never legitimate!" I said trying to reason with her.
"Y-yeah, I guess you're right…" Darkness agreed.
"Then why-" I was about to ask her before she cut me off.
"B-but still-! I want to...help you...de-stress…" She said, "You sometimes go out of your way to talk to me and be with me...so I want to return the favour…"
Darkness did sound a bit sad as she said that, "Do you still….?"
Ugh, fucking Kazuma….
"F-fine…" I said as I gave in, "You can...wash my back…"
I knew I'd probably say those words someday when I was probably 27 or 28, but not 1 week after I got my first girlfriend…
"R-right…" She said. I heard her faint footsteps wall up to me before a small shadow casted over my shoulder and the texture of a towel touched my back.
While Darkness used the towel to wash my back, my heart was beating rapidly.
I mean, who wouldn't keep calm in a situation like this?!
Both of us are nearly naked and in the bath!
What the fuck is this?!
is this….good?" she asked.
"Y-Yeah" I stuttered as I tried to keep my cool.
"Ok…" She said before taking off the towel.
Is she done? I think she's done…
...Boy did I think wrong…
Just as I was about to get up, Darkness wrapped her trembling arms around my shoulders and I felt the towel again...but with a softer pressure on them…
This was enough to wake up my son…
"Ok! I'm gonna go head to the tub!" I quickly said as I stood up and almost dove into it, facing away from Darkness.
"Ok, if you're done with...washing me off, you can go. I'll be out in 10 minutes…" I told her.
I was really hoping that she'd leave just so I could calm down….
...I really hoped….
I heard the sound of footsteps walking somewhere and thought that she'd be heading towards the door, but my expectations were shattered (ironically) when I heard and felt the bath water being splashed around.
Of course it wouldn't be that easy...
I was still facing away from her as I made a mental sigh, she said she wanted to relieve me of my stress but I think she caused a bit more...
As of right now, me and Darkness were now back to back sitting in the middle of the overly large bath-tub, hot-tub, thing. Neither of us were taking a chance to peak at each other.
"So...is this something Kazuma also told you?" I asked.
"...No. This…was my own choice…" she replied…
"Ok, and why?" I asked.
She didn't respond.
"Please don't tell me it was a heat of the moment thing...you're honestly gonna make me feel bad." I told her.
"N-no, it wasn't in the heat of the moment…" she said.
"Then…?" I asked.
"I...don't know…" She said, "Ugh! Just thinking about this is making my head spin! Why did I come into the bath with you?"
I sighed as Darkness questioned her own choices, "I won't question why you did this, but just know that you can leave if you want and I'll act as if this...exchange...never happened.."
"That's...something I don't want either…" she said.
"Man you're so complicated sometimes…" I said as I made another sigh.
"I know, I'm pretty selfish at times and I don't blame you if you think so too, but…" She said trailing off her words.
"...I don't know…" She said, "I think I'm taking this to an extreme…"
"Yeah, sounds about right. I mean most of the time, you're an extreme kind of person with your fetishes…" I said with a chuckle.
"That's another matter…" She said.
"But, I guess that's fine. Your problems are my problems, I'll be more than happy to help you out when you need it, just don't follow me into the shower." I told her.
"...R-right, I'll make sure not to do that next time." Darkness said, "I-I guess I should leave you to yourself. I guess, I won't mind if you peek-"
"I won't." I said immediately rejecting her idea.
"R-right. But, before I leave…" Darkness said, "Tsukiyo...c-can you face me for a moment, b-but keep your eyes closed…"
I was really going to reject her idea again, but for some odd reason decided to go with her idea. Why? Why am I doing this to myself?
Doing as Darkness said, I turned from where I sat with my eyes closed and my son asleep, I didn't have much to hide.
"Alright." I said as I swallowed some spit.
"Ok then." she said.
It was a short while before Darkness did anything to me, but after that while, I was able to feel her hands on my shoulders and her unsteady breath in front of me.
Her hands were trembling a lot more than before on my shoulders, and before I knew it, she already made her first move.
Never in my life, I'd expect my first kiss to be from a crusader masochist.
But what made this idea even more far fetched was the fact that it would also happen while I was in the bath…
...especially when both of Darkness' bare breasts were touching me in almost full force.

I'm not sure how long this kiss lasted, but I do know that both me and Darkness were out of breath when we finally stopped and both of our faces were beyond red...
"I...I did it…" Darkness said happily and exhausted...

After Darkness collapsed onto the water, all sense of reasoning and logic began to flood into my brain, and everything in my mind went into full panic as the situation unfolded.
After a solid 5-7 minutes of thinking about what to do, I grabbed a couple of extra towels from outside the bath and covered Darkness with it as I tried to take her out of the bath.
With step 1 completed, I managed to get her out of the bath without touching her too much.
And I'd move onto step 2 which would've been to get her to her room before anyone found out, but then Megumin opened the door and threw all my plans out the window.
She stood there with a look of both shock and awkwardness.
"I know this looks bad…" I said to her, "But hear me out."
It didn't take her long to slowly close the door in front of her without saying anything before she said, "So you're just like Kazuma...I'm ashamed that I've stood up for you."
"This is not my fault!" I shouted, "You can talk to Darkness about this!...After she wakes up!"
….she didn't listen, and I don't think I blame her.
It would take a while before Darkness would actually wake up and explain this entire situation. So in the meantime where she wasn't awake, Megumin and Aqua were looking at me the same disgusted way they would look at Kazuma.
And this was for most of the day too!
There was a point where Darkness wouldn't come out of her room from her sheer embarrassment with what she did, so that made things even worse…
It was already late evening when Darkness decided to finally step out of her room and actually explain everything.
"...And that's everything there is to it. I'm sorry for making such a fuss about it, Tsukiyo isn't in the wrong about this." Darkness said as she told Megumin and Aqua, I wasn't sure where Kazuma was since he isn't back yet from...I don't know, somewhere in the town? If we don't do something today, he'd either stay in his room or head into the town for drinks...
"Darkness, are you sure what you're saying is true? Are you being blackmailed by Tsukiyo to say this?" Aqua asked in a concerned tone.
"No! I'm not." Darkness denied, "This is the truth."
"Hmmm…" Megumin looked at me with a suspicious gaze.
She stared at me for a while before speaking, "I'm willing to let this one slide, but please refrain from doing things like...that in the bathroom. We have our own 'Private' rooms for a reason…"
"Yeah, I know. We'll make sure to do things like that in private…" Darkness said shyly.
"Good." Megumin said, "But as punishment for doing that, you two will be washing the bathroom for the next 2 weeks. No Objections!"
"Alright, I guess that's fair…" Darkness said.
"...and you have to clean the gravestones behind the mansion too…" Aqua spoke up.
"Aqua I don't think you have a-" I tried to speak up, but Aqua cut me off.
"Silence you pervert! You need to learn things like discipline and self control, so clean the gravestone behind the mansion too!" She said as she wore a tone that looked down on me.
The front doors of the mansion opened suddenly as Kazuma walked in, looking a bit drunk, and staring at me and Darkness for a while, "So...what happened here?" he asked.
"Tsukiyo's become a pervert!" Aqua told him.
"Not a pervert. If you were actually listening to Megumin, then you'd understand…" I told her.
Kazuma, instead of looking at me disgustedly, looked at me with a warm smile and a look of familiarity, "Tsukiyo...you finally joined us…"
"Of course trash would support trash…" Aqua mumbled in disgust.
"Aqua, shut the hell up. Just this once, just shut up…" I told her.
"So rude! Are you really gonna say this to your goddess who brought you here!" Aqua complained.
"I'm sorry but I only recognize Eris as my Goddess. You know, with her being actually nice and useful compared to you, but then again it doesn't take much to be better than you…" I said.
"Yeah, I gotta go with Tsukiyo on this one. Eris really is a better Goddess than you, this is just a straight up fact." Kazuma said, "Besides, it was me that brought you here since you were being such a bitch."
Aqua started to get really pissed when she said that, "Are you serious?! What does that flat chested arrogant goddess do that makes her so much better than me!? I don't get it!"
"Everything."
"Everything."
Me and Kazuma said at the same time.
Aqua looked like she was about to flip her lid before she stomped off, "Ok fine! If you love Eris so much why don't you marry her then!" she said as she headed to the wine room.
"God, what's her problem?" Kazuma asked.
Megumin just sighed as she witnessed everything, "Let's just forget everything that happened. Tsukiyo, Darkness, you two are on bathroom duty for the next 2 weeks. Do those things in your room please, I don't need to be scarred at this age…"
"Right, we will." Darkness said.
"Yup." I added.
"Ok. Kazuma, go apologise to Aqua. Make sure she doesn't drink herself to death." Megumin added after.
"What! Why?!" He asked, almost dumbfounded.
"Just go apologise. Today's been tiring for me." she told him as she walked off to the couch where Chomusuke was.
"Tch, are you serious…" Kazuma said as he walked to the wine room.
Before we even knew it, it was just the two of us alone...and awkward.
"S-sorry for not clearing this up earlier…" Darkness said earlier.
"As long as this has been cleared up, it's fine. I don't want to be labeled as a pervert like Kazuma…" I said.
Neither of us could really look at each other in the face, especially after what happened in the bathroom.
"I'm…"
"Let's…"
Both me and Darkness said at the same time.
"Y-you go." I told her.
"N-no it's fine, you first." she said.
Ugh…

"I'm-" I was about to speak up before the front doors opened up loudly.
In front of the doors stomping in with a flushed red face, was Megumin's friend, Yunyun, I think her name was…
"You know you can't just walk in like you own the plac-, and she's just ignoring me, cool." I tried to say before she walked past me and towards Megumin.
"Yunyun, what are you doing here?" Megumin asked as she stood up from the couch.
"S-Satou Kazuma...Where is he?" she asked.
"Oh no. Kazuma! Get in here!" Megumin said a bit angrily.
Kazuma poked his head out of the wine room and walked over to where Megumin and Yunyun were.
"What, what did I do?" Kazuma asked, "Why's Yumyum here?"
"It's Yunyun, and that's why I'm asking her. She wants you for some reason, did you do something?" She said as she glared at Kazuma.
"No! What the hell did I do?! I just came back from drinking with Dust and Keith!" Kazuma defended himself.
"Oh really…" Megumin said unconvinced.
"Megumin, it's fine. He didn't do anything wrong." Yunyun said shyly.
Yunyun was trembling for a bit before she breathed in deeply and almost shouted, "S-S-SATOU KAZUMA! I WANT YOUR CHILD!"

All of us here were in absolute shock even to the point where Aqua poked her head out of the wine room.
...But Kazuma felt something different...
"It's here…" Kazuma mumbled.
"ITS FINALLY FUCKING HERE!" he shouted almost as if he was celebrating, "My fucking Popularity Arc is finally here! Fuck Yes! Suck it Tsukiyo! It's my turn to be the main character!"
Kazuma almost ripped off his pants as he looked at Yunyun with a flushed face.
I wasn't sure if this was instinct or not, but I covered Darkness' eyes from seeing Kazuma's green striped boxers.
"I'm gonna steal Aqua's words, but Yunyun are you being blackmailed?" I asked.
"This is blackmail…" Megumin mumbled in utter shock, "This has to be blackmail…"
Megumin stomped over to Kazuma very angrily and dragged his shirt collar to her height, "Kazuma! What did you do?!"
"I didn't do anything! It's just that Yunyun finally realised my charms and wants to have a kid with me!" Kazuma argued.
"Kazuma I think we can all agree that you have almost zero charm in you." Aqua said loudly from the cellar.
"As much as I hate Aqua, I do have to agree, you don't have anything a woman would want…" I added.
"Oh shut up! You're just jealous of my growing harem!" Kazuma said.
"Man, you really are that desperate…" I said as I pitied him.
"I don't have a choice Megumin…" Yunyun said as she trembled, "If I don't do this now, then the entire village is doomed!"
Ok, aside from the things Kazuma has been saying, we actually have to take this seriously now.
"Yunyun, what...do you mean?" Megumin asked.
"If I don't have Kazuma's child, then our home, the Crimson Village will disappear!" Yunyun said desperately.
The room was almost silent as Yuny said that.
It wasn't long until Yunyun pulled out a couple of crumpled up pieces of paper, "I got this letter today...it was from my father…" She said as she handed Megumin the paper.
Megumin read the letter and her face looked grimmer and grimmer by the second as she read the letter outloud...
(Yes, I am going to type out the letters. If anyone bitches about it, I'm going to find out where you live and bitch and moan constantly until you get annoyed. Don't tempt me! I'm a professional at complaining! -Konran)

You don't have to worry about me, I just like complaining just to complain (that and I always hold myself to some standard), I wrote those chapters one by one from the beginning of May, and ironically, I finished the OVA once first (at the end of May)while the others slowly got finished in June. It's not like I finished all the chapters in 1 day, no way in hell am I that lazy and determined to do it all in one day...
I know COVID has made everything a shitshow, but it really hasn't affected me in a severely negative way, just an annoying way.
