The crowd was still cheering from Krillin's win. The children were laughing with each other in happiness.
"You did it! You beat him!" said Goku in happiness as Krillin jumped up and down with a huge smile.
"Goku, it was awesome!" said Krillin as he clapped his hands together.
"It looked awesome!" said Chisa with a smile.
"I don't know about you guys, but I loved that fight! I'd say that Krillin boy is goin' places!" said the announcer. He had taken off the breathing mask.
"I bet Master Roshi's going crazy!" said Goku to his friends. The other two laughed and started to look for him in the crowd, only to not see him.
"Hey W-where is he, anyway?" asked Krillin in confusion.
"Maybe he was so excited that he had to go to the bathroom?" question Chisa. Goku looked at Bulma who was in the audience.
"Hey, Bulma, do you know where Master Roshi is sitting?" asked a confused Goku.
"Sorry, Goku, we lost track of him in the crowd," said Bulma apologetically.
"He keeps leaving us and we think it's to go look at girls," said Puar in annoyance.
"Well gee, that's not very nice," said Goku innocently.
"Then he didn't watch my fight?" asked Krillin in disappointment.
"Of course, he did! Like I said, maybe he went to the bathroom because of all the excitement," said Chisa as she smiled at Krillin.
"He is old," snickered Oolong.
"I smell him!" said Goku as he sniffed the air.
"Now everybody get ready!" said the announcer as he got to the middle of the stage. "It's time for the next great match!"
Goku and Krillin started to walk behind him and look for Roshi.
"Master?" asked Goku as he looked around.
"Hello?" asked Krillin.
"Come on boys, I'm in the middle of my speech here," said the announcer as he shooed them off.
"Let's go, guys. He will be watching, don't worry!" said Chisa as she grabbed them by their arms and pulled them to go back into the building.
"I've got to admit, I've been waiting for this one, folks! It's young against old! Yamcha vs. Jackie Chun!" said the announcer as the kids stood together on the other side of the wall, just outside the building.
"Well, here I go!" said Yamcha to the children as he walked past them. They smiled and laughed.
"Good luck, Yamcha," said Goku as he turned to see his friend off. Krillin and Chisa looked forward as Jackie Chun walked up to them.
"That was a supper kick, Krillin," said Jackie to the boy. Krillin smiled in happiness and bowed.
"Oh! Thank you very much, mister!" said Krillin as the man walked away to the arena. "There's something funny about that guy."
"I agree," said Chisa as she stared at the place the man was with narrowed eyes. 'He seemed familiar. I wonder why.'
The children then decided to walk back into the building because Goku was hungry, again.
"I'm so hungry," said Goku as he patted his stomach.
"But you just ate," said Krillin as he fallowed his friend. "Gosh!"
"Goku does tend to eat a lot. You know that Krillin," said Chisa with a giggle.
"Oh, wow!" said Goku as he noticed Giran eating a whole bunch of meat.
"Huh?' grunted Giran as Goku ran up to the table.
"Now this is more like it," said Goku as he sat down. "Well, dig in!"
Krillin and Chisa ran up to the table as Goku started to eat. Chisa noticed that Giran started to eat faster as Goku was eating.
"Oh yeah! I was really starving!" said Goku as he continued to eat. He only stopped when he heard a grumbling sound. Everyone turned to see Nam blushing. Goku giggled and grabbed the rest of the food, taking it to Nam.
"I know that you're hungry! Eat up!" said Goku with a smile.
"No, I can't," said Nam as he leaned away from the food. Giran then hit Goku on the head with his tail, causing Goku to drop the food.
"What was that for?" he asked in anger. Giran stood up and glared at the boy.
"You took my food! No one does that!" said Giran as he then began to stomp on the table, breaking it and causing the food on it to fall. Krillin and Chisa fell onto the floor in shock.
"Stop your wasting!" yelled out Nam in anger.
"I'd like to see you try and stop me Mister Skin-and-Bones!" said Giran, ready to fight.
"And here are the fighters!" said the announcer from the arena, causing the others to turn that way. "In the orange and green uniform, the young and fearless, Yamcha! And in the black and white outfit – Jackie Chun! Gentlemen take you positions, let's go!"
A gong sounded, signaling the start of the fight. Goku and Chisa quickly jumped to the top of the wall so they could watch the battle.
The two opponents stayed still, simply watching each other, and then Yamcha attacked. Though he was fast, he kept missing.
"That time you almost touched me," said Jackie as he landed on one foot.
"Huh?" question Goku in confusion.
"You're fighting moves are big and fun to look at, but I'm afraid most of them are just a waste of energy," said Jackie as he looked at Yamcha.
"I'll show you!" yelled Yamcha in anger as he moved to attack. Though he tried very hard, every hit missed.
"You have to see this, Krillin! That old man is dodging every punch like it's nothing!" said Goku in shock.
"Huh?" said Krillin as he walked up to the wall.
"Unbelievable! Yamcha has launched an aggressive attack, but he can't even lay a finger on Jackie Chun! Who knew the elderly could move so fast?" said the announcer in shock and excitement.
"The old man's just having fun with me!" said Yamcha in annoyance and anger. "But let's see him laugh at my Wolf Fang Fist!"
"Goku, you know Yamcha, right?" asked Krillin to his friend. "Would you say he's a pretty decent fighter?"
"Yeah, he's really good! I fought him once and he used some crazy attack move on me!" said Goku with a smile.
"Then if he can't touch this Jackie Chun guy, I think we're in trouble."
"No! We can still pull off a win if we try hard enough!" said Chisa with a smile, causing the two boys to smile at her.
"Wolf Fang Fist Attack!" yelled Yamcha as he attacked, only for Jackie to dodge and then move back to standing in front of him, freaking Yamcha out.
"Allow me to present you with this refreshing winter breeze," said Jackie as he attacked. He gathered energy in his hands and sent a gust of wind toward Yamcha, throwing him to the wall and out of bounds. Everyone watched in shock.
"How did you like it? Wasn't it cool?" laughed Jackie, no one laughed with him. "That was a joke."
"Why-why that's a ring out!" called out the announcer. "Jackie Chun is the winner!"
The crowd cheered in surprise.
"What an amazing fighter! Jackie Chun seemed to have that victory under his belt from the first hit of the gong! Am I right?"
"Ah! Yamcha lost!" said Goku in shock.
"That old man is crazy good!" said Chisa in shock.
"Yeah. And who's gonna have to fight against the old man in the second round?" asked Krillin as he then looked at his two friends. "It's me, isn't it?"
"Uh-huh," nodded the two other children.
After a few minutes, the children jumped off the wall and went to stand on the ground.
"Don't worry Krillin, maybe that old guy just got lucky when he beat Yamcha," said Goku, trying to make his friend feel better.
"First it was that swear-face and now I'm up against a super-hero," said Krillin in fear.
The children looked up when Yamcha and Jackie Chun walked back to the waiting area. Goku smiled.
"Yam-" started Goku, only to be cut off by Chisa grabbing his arm and holding him back.
"Wait, Goku," she said as she stopped him.
"He might not be in the mood to talk right now, Goku," said Krillin as he looked at the other boy.
"Oh," said Goku in disappointment.
"This next match should be a good one, folks!" said the announcer.
"Ah! That's me!" said Chisa as she ran to the arena.
"Both these challengers are new to the fighting scene, and I really have no idea what to expect – it's Nam versus Chisa! Fighting in the orange and fuscia robe, the ever-silent, Nam! And to my eft, wearing the same fighting cloths as Krillin, is the adorable Chisa!"
"Hi!" said Chisa as she smiled at waved at everyone. The crowd couldn't help but find her cute.
"Let the third match of the tournament begin!"
The gong was sounded.
Chisa got into a fighting position and looked at her opponent who did the same. The two watched each other, and then Chisa attacked.
First, she landed a kick to his chest, pushing the tall man back several steps and shocking him in the process. Nam quickly got over the shock and pain and attacked the younger girl. Though she managed to dodge for the most part, he finally managed to hit her in the stomach and send her to the edge of the ring, but luckily, she caught herself.
"This is amazing, folks! Both fighters are really doing their best to take each other out! And little Chisa is no dainty little flower!" said the announcer as the two went at it.
'His stance is good. He makes sure to block all his openings. What should I do?' wondered Chisa to herself as she dodged another attack.
"You may be a small child, but I promised my people that I would save them. I cannot lose!" said Nam as he attacked, landing a hit on Chisa and causing her to hit the ground.
"One! Two! Three!" began the monk as he counted.
"Oh, my! Is this too much for the little lady?" question the announcer as he watched on.
"You can do it kid!" called out Bulma from the stands.
"Get up, Chisa!" yelled Goku from the wall.
"Don't give up!" yelled Krillin.
"I won't lose!" said Chisa as she jumped up and moved quickly, shocking everyone. She used her speed to add power to her punch. She landed a hit to Nam stomach, sending the man flying to a wall and landing outside of the ring and knocking him out. Everyone got quiet.
"Well, folks! It's unbelievable! Chisa has one by ring-out! Don't underestimate this little lady, people!"
"I did it!" said Chisa as she jumped up and down with a huge smile on her face.
"Chisa!" yelled Goku and Krillin as they went to hug their friend.
"That was such a good fight!" said Goku.
"Yeah! If Goku wins his, the two of you will fight each other!" said Krillin.
"You better win, Goku!" said Chisa with a smirk.
"I will!" said Goku as the three began to laugh.
The three then ran back to the waiting area.
"Good job, Chisa," said Yamcha with a smile as he patted the small girl on the head.
"Thank you!" said Chisa with a smile.
"Very good job, Chisa. You held your forms well and used your speed to your advantage," said Jackie Chun as he looked at the young children.
"Thank you, sir," said Chisa as she bowed to the older man. She then looked at her friends. "I sure hope Grandpa saw that!"
"I'm sure he did," said Yamcha as he eyed Jackie who looked away.
