It had been hours since he'd fled Harumi...three hours since the believed demise of his uncle and comrades. He wasn't faring well. He was in a deep depression and his mom and the others weren't much help.

He had locked himself in a closet, his emotions now running rampant. He couldn't take it.

"I'm supposed to lead this rebellion, but I'm just scared..." he whispered to no one in particular. "I can't... I can't do it..."

A soft purple glow emerged and Lloyd couldn't help but admire it. "Lloyd, my son...you mustn't think so lowly of yourself..." it whispered.

Lloyd couldn't believe it.

His father. Was here?

He watched as the glow changed into a humanoid form, eventually solidifying. Time seemed to pause in that very instant. As if there were nothing separating the two, he ran into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably. "F-Father...!" He couldn't contain his emotions any longer.

"Lloyd...shhh...shhhh...I'm right here..." Garmadon consoled. "You are going to be okay..."

"I missed you so much..." Lloyd cried, his body shaking, trembling in relief.

His father caressed his hair. "As have I..."

"B-But your evil side...disowned me..." Lloyd's sobs grew stronger. "A-And then...I had to watch as the C-Colossi killed my friends and uncle... And now my crush is against me...SHE BROUGHT YOUR EVIL SIDE BACK!" He cried out again.

"Lloyd..." Garmadon sighed empathetically. "I'm so sorry..."

"And my powers...they're gone..."

"Your eyes...they've lost their usual green color."

"I know...!" Lloyd sobbed. "I'm so scared... S-So scared... Father... I messed up... I let my feelings control me..." Lloyd buried his face into Garmadon's chest again.

"Look at me, Son..." Garmadon spoke, his voice more authoritative now, but still calm. "You may be a child at heart, but you are still the Chosen One. You are still the leader of the team. You are a master now. You may not be perfect, but your mistakes help you make better choices," he continued.

"F-Father, I need you..."

"I understand completely..." the destruction elemental sighed, brushing his son's cheek with his fingers. "I will always be with you... We may be worlds apart, but our memories never fade. I love you, more than anything in the world. I would want nothing more than for you to finish what I started. Go on, take back Ninjago. Stay strong for me..."

"I will..." Lloyd spoke, his voice filled with emotion.

"I love spending time together with you... I will miss you, but we'll be together someday... I will always be a part of you..." Garmadon slowly pulled away.

There was a fire alarm in the distance.

"I have to go..." Lloyd sighed. "Thanks for everything."

"Of course... I love you..."

"Me too... Goodbye, Father..." Lloyd glanced back and rushed out the door.

Oh Lloyd... you have truly come so far... I couldn't be more proud of you...
