Chapter 24: Interrogation

When K.O. came to, he found that he was in some strange, dark room. He also found that he couldn't move, and that's when he saw that he was tied to a chair with glowing blue chains restraining his wrists, legs, and body.

"Wh-Where am I? Rad? Enid? Dendy? M-Mommy?" he asked as he looked around, but saw no signs of his friends anywhere.

"Finally, you're awake. Took you long enough."

K.O. turned his head to see Dark Samus standing a few feet in front of him. "Wh-Where am I? What is this place?"

"Oh, this is just your typical interrogation room." Dark Samus answered as she hovered over to him. "Now I'm only gonna ask you this once. Where is he?"

"Wh-Where's who?"

"Your dark and edgy counterpart! Where is he?!" demanded Dark Samus, grabbing the boy's collar.

"I...I-I don't know who you're talking about." K.O. answered nervously.

"You know damn well who I'm talking about!" Dark Samus shouted right in his face. "Don't you play stupid with me, mister, 'cause I know what you and your friend group have been doing! You're going after that Hot Topic Krew or whatever, and that little edgy brat is with them."

K.O. didn't know what exactly Dark Samus wanted with T.K.O., but it didn't sound good to him, so he tried to find a way to get out of this. "Look, I...I don't know where exactly T.K.O. is right now. But even if I did know, I'll never tell you!"

"So, you wanna be like that, huh? You don't wanna talk, but oh I'll make you talk!" Dark Samus hovered over to a control panel and pressed a few buttons, and K.O. closed his eyes and braced himself, expecting to receive a painful shock, but then suddenly started laughing as the binds were tickling him. "You gonna answer my question now?"

"N-No, I-I still w-won't tell you!" K.O. giggled from the tickling.

"Well, alright. You asked for it." Dark Samus replied as she turned the intensity of the tickling all the way up, making K.O. laugh so hard that he had tears in his eyes. "You gonna start talking now?"

"A-Ah-ha-ha-ha, n-n-no, s-s-stah-ha-ha-ha-ha-p! I-I-I'm g-gonna p-pee-hee-hee m-my p-pa-a-a-ants!"

"Alright, enough of that. Don't want it to get messy in here." Dark Samus muttered as she turned the tickling off. "So, are you gonna give me my answer now?"

"I...I'm telling you...I don't know where T.K.O. is." K.O. answered, still recovering from his laughing fit.

"Hmm...my sensors are telling me that you're lying, and do you know what I do with liars? This." pressed another button and K.O. cried out in pain, as this time he received a rather painful shock from the binds. "That's what you'll be getting now whenever you refuse to give me my answer. Now answer my damn question! I know you know where your edgy twin is, so where. Is. HE?!" She turned up the intensity all the way up, shocking his entire body.

K.O. couldn't handle any more of this and finally shouted, "T.K.O. AND THE HOT TOPIC KREW ARE HEADING FOR THE HIDDEN LAND! THAT'S ALL I KNOW!"

Upon hearing that, Dark Samus stopped the shocking and hovered over to the whimpering boy and put her hand on his chin, lifting it up so that his teary eyes met with her cold, featureless face. "See, that wasn't so hard, now was it? If you just gave me the right answer from the start, you wouldn't be in so much pain right now."

"O-Okay, I-I told you. C-Can you please let me go now?"

"Will I let you go?" Dark Samus chuckled. "That's really cute, kiddo, but I'm afraid you won't be going anywhere, because I need you to take me to this Hidden Land."

"B-But I don't know where it is."

"Then you're gonna help me find it!" Dark Samus began to deactivate the binds. "Now just be a good boy and-"

Just as K.O. was free from the binds, he kicked her in the lower body as hard as he could and quickly ran to the nearest door, but couldn't get it to open. "Come on, come on!" He then felt something grab him and pull him away from the door.

"So, you really thought you could be smart and try to escape?" Dark Samus grabbed a cage and threw K.O. into it, pressing a button at the top that made the bars glow bright blue and gave him a shock if he touched them. "Next time you try to defy me, it'll mean big trouble for you, got that?"

K.O. only whimpered as he nodded. Wherever the LBS was, he hoped they were on their way to save him.

Somewhere in some strange, dark world, was a sinister being made of several black tentacles and a glowing eye in the center. It was at the barrier that separated its world from the current world of this fanfic, and it reached one of its tentacles out at the barrier, and it felt that it was rather weak. The sinister being began to grin...if it actually had a mouth.

"Yes, the barrier has been weakened. My thousands of years of imprisonment can finally end!"

The dark being then reached all of its tentacles out and pressed them against the barrier, and sure enough, it began to get even weaker from the pressure. From the outside, cracks were forming in the sky as the barrier separating the two worlds was starting to break. The dark being continued to tear through until it made a hole in the sky big enough to fit itself through.

"At last, I am free! Now this world shall perish under the wrath of Dharkon!" it exclaimed, but before it could act on its plan, it was suddenly hit by a light blue beam. "What the?!"

It was none other than Dialga and Palkia, and they had come to stop this sinister being from invading the world.

"SO YOU ARE THE ONE THAT IS CAUSING THE DISTURBANCE." Palkia said.

"LOOKS LIKE WE CAME IN THE NICK OF TIME." Dialga added.

Dharkon narrowed its eye. "No, you cannot stop me! This entire world will perish under my control, for I am Dharkon, the god of darkness and destruction, and I will start with you!" it shouted as it lashed it tentacles out at the two legendaries, but they quickly dodged.

"OH NO, YOU WON'T!" Dialga shouted, and the diamond on its chest glowed a bright blue and then it unleashed its Roar of Time, the force of the attack sending Dharkon back into the hole in the sky.

"N-No! This isn't over! You haven't seen the last of Dharkon!"

"WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO INVADE THIS WORLD, SO YOU WILL STAY IN YOUR DARK, TWISTED WORLD!" Palkia shouted as its right arm glowed pink and slashed at Dharkon via Spatial Rend, and that was enough to fix the interdimensional tear. "NOW THAT THAT'S TAKEN CARE OF, LET'S HOPE NO ONE ELSE TRIES TO-"

Suddenly, there was a loud noise that sounded like guns firing as the two were tied in some strange, glowing blue chains. "WH-WHAT THE?!"

"We have you now, Dialga and Palkia!" said Light Trooper #1 as the Light Troopers were holding the two legendaries with the light chains from their guns.

"WHAT IS THIS INFERNAL CONTRAPTION?" Dialga asked.

"YOU WILL NEVER TAKE US ALIVE!" shouted Palkia.

"Oh, that won't be a problem, because we have these." said the first lead Light Trooper, him and his partner holding up the two Master Balls that Lionel had given them.

Both legendaries' eyes widened in horror. "OH ARCEUS, NO! NOT THE MASTER BALL!"

"Oh yes, we have the Master Ball." The two lead Troopers loaded the Master Balls into their guns, and then they aimed and fired, sending them flying in an arc which hit both of them.

"NOOOOO!" shouted the Temporal and Spatial Pokémon as they were sucked into the small, spherical prison, and as the Master Ball captured without fail, they instantly went 'ding!' as they landed in the troopers' hands.

With their mission a success, the first lead Trooper took out their walkie-talkie and spoke into it. "Sir Lionel, we have successfully captured Dialga and Palkia. We will be returning to the main base shortly."
