"Did you find her?"

"No, your highness. It appears currently that she may not even be in this dimension."

A heavy sigh could be heard throughout Mewni Castle, as Star Butterfly - the "acting" Queen of Mewni - listened to yet another search party return to her empty handed, with no sign of where Moon could have teleported to.

"Well? What are you still here for!? Find some other dimension! She's gotta be out there somewhere!" Star exclaimed.

"But, your highness, we've been searching for days now! With Moon's return uncertain, it may be the time for you to completely take over as que-"

The guard was cut off by Star angrily tearing a portal open and kicking him and his party directly into it.

"Manfred..." Star said with a threatening tone.

Manfred, who was sitting near the front entrance of the throne room, looked rather terrified that he might be next.

"I'm going to my room. Make sure any people passing by don't get into any trouble."

"Of course, your highness," Manfred stated, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

Knock Knock Knock

"Hey Star, can I come in?"

Somehow, she knew the voice before he even spoke.

"Yeah, Marco."

Marco opened the door, noticing a somber Star lying on her bed.

He decided to sit next to her.

"You doing okay?" Marco inquired.

"No Marco, I'm not doing okay. My mom is missing, Mewni is still in a complete wreck after Meteora's attack, and I'm an acting queen that doesn't even know what to pick for dinner!"

Silence fell for at least thirty seconds.

Marco finally spoke up.

"I'm so sorry, Star. I know it's been tough on you more than anyone else. That's why I think - while the search is still going for your mom - we need to...just take a break! I mean we've been trying to solve this whole Eclipsa thing for months now!"

"But, Marco, I'm acting queen! These are my people, and they need me!"

"I know, but everyone needs a break at some point. Look, I know Moon is still out there, and I also know that you shouldn't be worried about her. She's a strong woman, you know that. And hey, I've seen what River can do. He'll have things taken care of while we're gone."

Star chuckled lightly.

"Marco, are you sure about that? I mean, I love my dad, but I don't know if he'll be able to run Mewni on his own."

"Don't worry, he's got this." Marco declared with a goofy-looking thumbs up.

Star couldn't help but smile at Marco's effort to cheer her up.

"How long would we be gone?"

"Just a few days."

"Would anyone else be joining us?"

"Oh, just one other person."

"And who's that?"

"Me," the demon prince with three iconic eyes stated while entering Star's room.

"Hey, Tom!" Star exclaimed.

"Sup, Star. Sup, Marco. Well, what did she say?"

"I'm still not sure, Tom. Star, what do you say?"

Star thought about it for a good five seconds.

"You know what? You're right Marco. We do need a break! And besides, it's only for a few days!"

"It's settled, then," Marco stated.

"Well, where exactly are we going?" Star asked.

"Somewhere we haven't been in quite a while," Marco teased while opening a portal with his hard-earned dimensional-scissors.

"Break time!" the three half-sung altogether as they entered the portal.
