Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha or Steven Universe. The story is not following the Steven Universe storyline so that some things may be different from the show but I would try to keep a good majority of it the same. Also, Steven and Connie are best friends nothing more.

This story is similar to Steven's Soulmate but different because I was initially writing this, but I accidentally ended up writing a different story on accident. I liked the plot so much for this one, so I decided to make them to different stories.

Appearances:

Steven's Appearance: Same height and build but for a man as Rose was, has black curly hair that's usually kept in a ponytail.

Kagome's Appearance: Wavy black hair and blue eyes in her human form. Silver hair and gold eyes like Sesshomaru but with a hint of blue when in demon form. Also has a fluffy silver tail not as long as Sesshomaru's.

Guest: Umm... how old is Steven? 13? Cuz even if he was in his 20's, he ages slower than regular humans.

Are you doing a sort of imitation of Youko Kurama but just the one spirit in the body

Or we making her similar to half demon cuz otherwise I don't know of any demons whose appearance changes to rapidly

Me: In this story, Steven is not 13 he is 21, and in the episode so many birthdays it is shown that Steven can age depending on how old he feels.

There's a one year age difference, and her appearance doesn't change often. Her demon form and human form, which is an illusion so that she can blend in.

She's not a half demon she's a full dog demon like Sesshomaru, she was turned into a demon after the quest which is one reason why she looks the way she does the other is because she stayed in the past with Sesshomaru and lived with him.

Chapter Six:

"What's going on?" Steven asked as he looked at all three of them. He became confused when he saw Pearl blush and look away from him before she glared at Amethyst when she snickered at her. He looked between Amethyst and Pearl curiously before he looked at Garnet hoping she would be able to answer his question.

"They were merely curious about the girl in your bed," Garnet told him before she lowered her sunglasses and gave him a knowing look. She smirked and chuckled softly when he blushed and looked away from her.

"Well, her name is Kagome Higurashi, Lion brought home her two nekomatas at least I think that's how it was pronounced, and she came to get them. I offered for her to stay the night when I noticed that she walked here and that it was still raining." Steven told them as he looked at them waiting on their reactions.

He could tell that Garnet was trying her hardest not to smile wide and keep herself together, he could only imagine how excited Ruby and Sapphire were. He guessed it was either because she had already seen this happening in one of her visions or the fact that there was a girl, sure there were Connie, Sadie, Kiki, and Jenny but those were all his friends, and he will be nothing more than friends with any of them.

Looking at Amethyst, he saw that she seemed unimpressed. He figured she was expecting a different explanation about who Kagome is, what kind of answer he didn't know if he wanted to know or not.

Lastly, he looked at Pearl he noticed that she was looking at Amethyst with a smug look on her face. He wanted to ask her but decided he was not going to ask about because he knew she was not going to tell him. Something she's been doing a lot ever since he's turned nineteen there was other things too like she was more protective of him, he would catch her looking at him before staring off into space every once and a while, and he was positive there was more that he hadn't realized yet.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to go and wake her up, please don't do anything embarrassing." He begged as he began to walk backward to his room. "We'll be on our best behavior," Amethyst said with a grin that made him wonder wheter or not waking her up was a good idea.
