Megatron took a deep intake of air as he shot another glare at the mech in his lap. The Assassin was lounging boredly. Megatron sighed in annoyance and tried to once again ignore the annoyance on his lap.
The revolutionary was considering different ways to get this mech off his lap without getting his main line cut when Astrotrain spoke up for the first time in the long journey to the terrorists base, "One joor till we arrive."
Megatron turned and said to Bloodhound, "Get up. It's time for me to explain how we're going to do this."
Bloodhound pouted for a moment before slowly getting up. Megatron quickly got as far away from the Assassin as soon as he was off him. Megatron shook his helm and turned to face his new 'team'.
He took a deep breath and finally spoke, "Alright. Let's get started."
He was interrupted almost immediately.
"Why do we need to listen to you?" demanded Shockwave snootily. "I'm certain I could come up with a better plan than you."
Megatron shot Shockwave a glare and was about to remind him that Shadowfax had put him in charge when Mirror spoke up, "Weren't you listening? The Warden put Megatron in charge. Which naturally means were going with Megatron's plan. I don't know about anyone else but I'm not getting my head blown off by disobeying orders."
There was silence for a moment before Bloodhound said casually, "If you're not wanting to go along with this, I could of course kill you Shockwave. I'm certain dear old Faxy wouldn't care."
Shockwave and nearly everyone else slid away slightly from the insane assassin. Megatron shook his helm nervously and said, "May I please continue?"
"Oh, please do." purred Bloodhound.
Megatron tried to control his knee-jerk reaction of blowing the insane glitches helm off as he continued, trying to ignore how the Assassin was staring at him, "There will be three teams; the Extraction team, the Intel team, and the Distraction team."
"Ohhhhhh!" squealed Vortex. "Can I be on the Intel team? I'm so good at getting intel out of mechs!"
Megatron ignored him and continued, "The Distraction team will get in first and cause a massive distraction that will draw a lot of attention. While the terrorists are distracted the Intel team and Extraction team will move in. Intel will go to the labs, the communications hub; basically, anywhere where we can get the intel Shadowfax and the government need about them to shut them down. The extraction team will go and retrieve the prisoners. Any questions before I assign teams?"
Silence for a moment before Swindle said, "I think we all know who's on the Distraction team."
Bloodhound smirked as Megatron nodded and said, "Vortex and Bloodhound will be the Distraction team."
"Perfect," purred Vortex. "I've been wanting to get to know dear old Bloody over there."
"Ditto," Bloodhound responded, showing off way too many dentals as he grinned.
Megatron shuddered slightly before continuing, "Astrotrain, Swindle, and Shockwave will be the Intel team."
Shockwave huffed but seemed gratified by Megatron's decision to put him on the Intel team.
"And finally," Megatron concluded, "myself, Mirror, and Soundwave will be the Extraction team."
"Lovely," spat Mirror. "I have to help free the people who arrested me in the first place. How wonderful."
Soundwave said nothing as Megatron turned to the Distraction team and said, "Now, you two. Keep the killing to a minimum please. The government wants to arrest this organization and they can't exactly do that if their all dead."
"Oh, you've got it," purred Bloodhound. "We won't kill all of them, will we Vortex?"
Vortex snickered and purred, "Of course not, Bloody."
Megatron could feel a helm ach beginning to grow as he stared at the two psychopaths that he was basically about to turn loose. He slowly rubbed his helm hoping that the two of them wouldn't cause him anymore problems than he already knew they were going to cause.

Prowl stared down at his pedes as he thought of ways to get out of this place before the terrorists could figure out what he was up to. He twitched as Jazz slowly leaned against his arm. Prowl allowed Jazz to lean against him for a click before he broke the silence that had begun to fester after his declaration.
"We need to figure out a way out of here before anything else," he said. "An escape is the only way we'll ever get the answers we need."
Getaway responded, "I've been trying to figure a way out of here for some time, but nothing seems like it will work. Either they have a good sense when it comes to holding prisoners, or they've figured out how to hold Spec Ops bots from. . ."
Getaway trailed off as an uneasy silence perforated the cell. Skids finally spoke up, "There's always a way out Getaway. Even if it doesn't seem like it at first."
Getaway shook his helm and said quietly, "I've looked and looked Skids. I can find no easy way out of this cell. Somehow they've figured out ways to keep us locked up."
The silence fell and hit them all much harder than Prowl could have expected. Had these mechs done something to Hound that made them aware how Spec Ops mechs operated? It made Prowl's spark shudder in horror.
Jazz growled, "Damn it! What are we gonna do Prowler? We're stuck 'ere!"
Prowl shook his helm carefully and said calmly, "We'll figure something out Jazz. We just need to be patient. These mechs will slip up and that's when we'll make our move."
Jazz didn't look that convinced but gave Prowl a small nod as the others dispersed through the cell. Jazz didn't leave Prowl's side though and finally said, "Prowler, do ya dink we should tell 'em?"
"What?" Prowl asked in confusion. "Tell them what?"
Jazz looked practically grim as he continued, "Prowl, think about it. They shipped Hound ta the Pit afta keepin' 'im 'ere fer a while. What makes ya think they won' do the same ta us?"
Prowl stiffened. His blue optics widened at that for a few klicks before he croaked out, "We don't know that that is what they intend yet Jazz. We'll wait until we have more confirmation of such a thing."
Jazz gave a brief nod and then turned to keep careful optics on the rest of the team. Prowl meanwhile was trying to push thoughts of such things out of his helm. He could feel worry beginning to rise further in his chassis as he sat there.
He certainly hoped these terrorists wouldn't send them to the Pit.

Bloodhound casually propped his feet up against a big crystal as he and Vortex waited for Megatron's signal to make their move. Bloodhound smirked as he watched Vortex pace and spin his blades restlessly.
Finally, after several klicks of this, Bloodhound spoke up, "You should try to relax more. We still have some time before we will start our distraction. Take a load off and relax a while 'Tex."
Vortex gave a small snicker at that and said, "Aren't you excited, Bloody? Old' Megsy just gave us one rule. And I plan to enjoy myself within the bounds of that rule. This is, after all, a much better opportunity to kill than what we're given at the prison."
Bloodhound smirked, "Megatron did tell us not to kill too many. I wander how many is too many?"
Vortex grinned, dangerously, "I'm looking forward to finding out."

Soundwave silently followed Megatron and Mirror through the crystal forest outside of the terrorist groups headquarters. His thought processes though were on the Assassin, Bloodhound. It seemed to Soundwave that there was something familiar about the mech, he just couldn't determine what it was.
It could be his persona. Soundwave had known many mechs that acted like Bloodhound did, most of them completely insane. That was the answer with the highest probability of being it. Although something did seem off with that answer.
It could also be that Bloodhound resembled someone Soundwave did know, although it was very unlikely. Soundwave couldn't remember meeting anyone like Bloodhound before, even before he had been placed in prison.
Or, it could be, although Soundwave was loath to admit it, that Bloodhound's mind reminded him of someone. He could think of no one who's mind matched up to Bloodhound's though. Well at least no one who would be in prison or who would be an assassin.
Soundwave silently pushed away the thoughts of Bloodhound and moved forward to the nervousness that was beginning to cover his spark. The Main Spec Ops team had once been his team too. He had to admit, at least to himself, that he was afraid of their reaction to seeing him here.
It wasn't a happy thought, seeing mechs that had once been friends but who had turned away from that once friendship. Soundwave's spark felt heavy just thinking about it. It wasn't as if he had meant to harm Blaster in such a way. He had not been in his right mind at the time, no matter what everyone else thought.
Soundwave felt his spark deflate even more as the memories attempted an assault on his processor. He had once been different. He had once not been so silent and stoic. He had once felt alive, where as now he felt dead.
He had once spoken normally, like every other Cybertronian. Now though, after all he had suffered while imprisoned for an incident that he had had no control over, he was silent, stoic and talked much differently than anyone else.
Soundwave shivered as Megatron opened the comm line that he had had Soundwave place between them all and said, "Alright, Distraction Team, make your move."
"You got it, boss," Vortex purred over the line. "As soon as you hear the explosion, you lot can begin to move in."
"Affirmative," Megatron responded. "Shockwave, status?"
"We are ready," the cyclops responded.
"Good." Megatron said over the line. "Let's go."
Soundwave twitched as they began to make their way forward as an explosion rang out and alarms in the base began to blare. The telepath flinched at the feeling of fear-filled minds connecting with his. It was clear that these terrorists hadn't been expecting them. Either that or they had seen who was attacking.
Soundwave was certain that he wouldn't want to face Bloodhound or Vortex in a combat situation. Those two were crazy in the worst way. The former communications mech shook his helm silently as he followed Megatron and Mirror towards the complex's side door.
At least he wasn't anywhere near those two.
