I'm so sorry that I am unable to keep a schedule. I'll update as often as I can- my real life is crazy at the moment. Hope you enjoy!

Hermione, Ginny, and Lianna made the grave mistake of staying awake until three in the morning. The girls all gossiped about the past years at Hogwarts, and the students in the other years and houses. Lianna liked Ginny and Hermione. Last school year, Hermione was the one in the Library with Lianna has she researched stuff about her past. Hermione was the one who read through her essays and critiqued her theory. Though Hermione could be a bit of a know-it-all, especially in class when she always tried to answer all of the questions first. Lianna, preferred letting her brilliance shine through performance instead of answering questions.

Lianna quickly learned that Ginny was no pushover either. That girl loved her hexes, and was good at performing offensive magic. Perhaps it was because she had all of those older brothers?

The three girls went to bed after realizing that they had to be awake in about an hour and thirty minutes. Which was absolutely horrifying.

And within the blink of an eye- Mrs. Weasley was shaking them up. Ginny groaned loudly as Lianna forced herself to get out of bed. Lianna dug through her trunk and pulled out her clothes for the day, struggling to get each leg through the appropriate hole. She wished she thought to brew and Invigoration Draught before leaving Amelia's house. She pulled a grey cotton tshirt on over her undershirt and grabbed plain black witch's robes. She stared at herself in the mirror; liking the muggle and magical clothing she was wearing. She ran fingers through her wine colored hair before rushing down the stairs.

Lianna could smell sausages cooking and coffee brewing. Hermione and Ginny were behind her, trailing after Mrs. Weasley, who looked rushed as she had to move the girls along in their morning routine.

"Why do we have to be up so early?" Ginny complained rubbing her eyes and sitting in one of the empty seats.

"We've got bit of a walk," Mr. Weasley answered, looking up from his paper.

"Walk?" Harry repeated. "What, are we walking to the World Cup?"

Lianna smirked as she poured her mug of steaming coffee, not even flinching as she downed the whole cup. She felt more awake as the rancid taste raced over her tongue. Hopefully the caffeine would be a suitable replacement for the potion she wished she had.

"No, no, that's miles away," Mr. Weasley answered, smiling at Lianna's face as she poured herself another cup. "We only need to walk a short way. It's just that it's very difficult for a large number of wizards to congregate without attracting muggle attention. We have to be very careful about how we travel at the best of times, and on a huge occasion like the Quidditch World Cup-"

"George!" Mrs. Weasley suddenly exclaimed sharply. Everyone at the table jumped. Ron looked as though he had passed out over his own plate of sausages and pancakes.

"What?" George asked in an innocent sounding tone that couldn't fool anyone.

"What is that in your pocket?"

"Nothing!"

"Don't you lie to me!"

Mrs. Weasley pointed her wand at George's pocket and said, "Accio!"

Several familiar looking objects zoomed out of George's pocket. He tried to grab them, but missed, and they sped right into Mrs. Weasley's outstretched hand.

"We told you to destroy them!" Mrs. Weasley said furiously holding one of the candies between her fingers. "We told you to get rid of the lot! Empty your pockets, go on, both of you!"

Mrs. Weasley started rapidly shouting the Summoning charm. Lianna sighed at this. Laughter was never a problem, and she didn't think the Ton-Tongue Toffees were that dangerous. She tugged on the back of Fred's rumbled tshirt to grab his attention. And she shamelessly, reached into Fred's back pockets collecting as many toffees as she could and stuffing them into her own sweatshirt pockets. She hoped that the flush on her face could be taken that she had downed one and a half cups of black coffee, and not the fact that her hand was in Fred's back pockets.

Needless to say, the atmosphere was not friendly upon the group's departure. Fred and George didn't even say 'goodbye' to her, which made Mrs. Weasley fume even more.

"Thank you for letting me stay here, Mrs. Weasley," Lianna said politely.

Mrs. Weasley's look softened a little. "Of course Lianna. You are welcome any time," she said to her. "Have a lovely time," she called to the group, "and behave yourselves!"

For the most part, the group walked silently in the direction Mr. Weasley had pointed. The sun started to rise. Ron, Harry, and Mr. Weasley were at the front of the line. Ginny and Hermione were following them, with the twins and Lianna in the rear.

After some time of walking, Lianna felt Fred grab her hand and give it a squeeze. "Have I told you how amazing you are?" He asked.

George raised his eyebrows. "Why do you think Lianna is amazing?"

Lianna sniffed. "You both should think I'm amazing," she clarified before pulling a handful of toffees out of her pocket.

George's eyes lit up. "We love you, Lianna!" He exclaimed collecting half of the candies and stuffing them back in his pockets.

Fred grinned and stuffed his own candies back where they belonged. "Lianna went into my back pockets to gather them for us!"

His twin stared at the younger redhead. "You did?" A sly smile was forming on his lips. "It seems as though you both enjoyed that experience."

Lianna flushed. Fred gave his brother a grin. "Shut up," Lianna snapped without any malice.

"I'm kind of jealous, actually," George continued.

"You are?" Lianna asked questionably.

"You are?" Fred repeated her but rather in a monotone voice.

George snorted. He took Lianna's other hand and the trio hiked their way up the hill to catch up to the others. The sun broke through the horizon when Mr. Weasley finally ordered everyone to start searching for the porkey.

Only a couple of minutes passed when a shout rang throughout the morning air. "Over here, Arthur!" Lianna looked up to see a tall man waving his arms on the other side of the hilltop.

The group crossed the hillside and came to a man with a mop of brown hair and beard. He and Mr. Weasley shook hands excitedly. "This is Amos Diggory everyone. He works for the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures-"

A figure dropped out of the tree that Amos was standing next to. He landed gracefully, and stood firmly, moving to shake Mr. Weasley's hand as if he had been there the entire time. "And I think you all know his son, Cedric?"

Lianna pulled her hand out of Fred and George's grasp so she could stand next to Hermione and Ginny. Both girls looked the brunette Hufflepuff in appreciation, their cheeks turning pink.

"Hi," Cedric said to them all, smiling. Lianna let her eyes roam his face for a moment before pinching the side of Ginny's arm. Cedric Diggory was a seventh year Hufflepuff. He was seeker and captain of the Quidditch Team. His honey colored eyes always made the girls' swoon.

Everybody responded with their greeting at slightly different times, except for the Weasley twins, who crossed their arms over their chests and nodded identically. Lianna shot them both a look.

"Long walk, Arthur?" Amos Diggory questioned.

"Not too bad," Mr. Weasley answered. "We live just on the other side of the village there. You?"

"Had to get up at two- didn't we Ced? I tell you, I'll be glad when he's got his Apparition test. Still…not complaining…Quidditch World Cup, wouldn't miss it for a sackful of galleons…"Amos laughed and peered around at all of the kids. "All of these yours, Arthur?"

"Oh no. Only the red heads." Arthur responded, to which Lianna cleared her throat loudly. "Well most of the redheads," Arthur responded. "This is Lianna, Hermione, and Harry, all Ron's friends.

"Merlin's beard," Amos's eyes widened. "Harry? Harry Potter?"

"Er-yeah," Harry answered shooting Lianna a look. He seemed to be uncomfortable as Amos's eyes raked along his forehead for his scar.

"Ced's talked about you, of course," Amos said. "Told us all about playing you last year…I said to him, I said- Ced, that'll be something to tell your grandchildren, that you will…You beat Harry Potter"

There was a tense silence. Fred and George were both scowling and Cedirc looked embarrassed.

"Harry fell of his broom, Dad," he muttered. "I told you…it was an accident…"

"Yes, but you didn't fall off, did you?" Roared Amos, slapping his son on the back. "Always modest, our Ced, always the gentleman…but the best man won. I'm sure Harry'd say the same, wouldn't you, eh? One falls off his broom, one stays on, you don't need to be a genius to tell which one's the better flier!"

Lianna smiled coldly. "Well, if we're going for the best flier- I seem to remember Slytherin crushing you during our game," she commented offhandedly. "That must make me the best flier.

Amos did a double take at her- as though he was trying to figure out who she was an why she was with the horde of Gryffindors.

"Must be nearly time-" Mr. Weasley interrupted quickly. "You just need to touch the Portkey…a finger will do."

The group all stood around this horrid old boot. It even smelled rancid. Lianna found herself squeezed between George and Cedric.

"And….three…two…one," Mr. Weasley muttered with an eye on his watch.

Lianna was jerked forward by the boot and was lifted off the ground. Her shoulders slammed against Cedric and George's. And her damned finger was stuck to the boot to the entire time.

Her feet slammed to the ground, and she crumbled immediately onto George's stomach. She groaned and blinked the stars out of her vision as she saw he Diggorys and Mr. Weasley gracefully landing with a small thud.

"Merlin-" Lianna hissed before standing and brushing her black robes off. She lifted a hand o her head and felt a rat's nest of knots and tangles. "Merlin," she swore again tearing her fingers through the strands.

"Seven past five from Stoatshead Hill," a voice stated tiredly.

It took a moment for Lianna to register where she was. She was standing in a foggy field, and her head was resting on something soft.

"Uh- Lianna," George wheezed, as though he had his breath knocked out of him. "Do you mind?" He questioned.

Lianna flushed heavily. "Oh, I'm sorry George," she apologized and pushed herself off his stomach. She was incredibly surprised to see Cedric Diggory with a hand extended towards her.

With a small smirk, she took his hand and let him pull her to her feet. "Er, thanks Diggory."

Cedric flashed her a bright smile before running a hand through his windswept hair.

Lianna's eyes scanned the field and she realized that they were not alone. Two wizards, who looked as though they really tried to dress as muggles, were standing. One had a giant gold watch- this one was wearing a tweed suit and galoshes. The one with a roll of parchment and a quill was wearing a kilt and a poncho. Those in the magical community never could seem to get muggle clothing right.

It was immediately apparent that Mr. Weasley knew these men. Lianna had forgotten that he does work for the Ministry of Magic. After a bit of small talk, the man called Basil pointed the Weasleys' in the direction of their campsite. The Diggorys' were in another site. Ginny looked the most heartbroken as they moved away from the handsome seventh year.

The group walked in the direction they were told. Lianna was between Fred and George. The boys were whispering above her head about the prices of the taffys they created.

Lianna smirked at the pair of them. The taffys were brilliant really. They had used an engorgement charm on the candy that activated when swallowed. She knew that Mrs. Weasley was upset with the boys for not achieving as many OWLs as she hoped, but it was really good magic. This joke shop that they were planning was well thought out it seemed.

The Weasleys, Potters, and Hermione all approached a cottage door. Mr. Weasley was speaking to the muggle that ran the campsite. He seemed suspicious of all of the people that were camping. He continued on about how it seemed as though everyone was foreign and "weird". This man needed a memory charm desperately. Lianna opened her mouth, about to suggest just that when a wizard appeared out of thin air with his wand pointing at the muggle.

"Obliviate," he cried sharply. The campsite manager's eyes instantly slid out of focus. He looked dreamy, and unconcerned.

After receiving the charge and a map of the campsite, the group left with the Ministry wizard grumbling about anti-muggle security, and how Mr. Roberts needed a memory charm ten times a day.

Lianna rolled her eyes at that. Certainly, a memory charm ten times a day did no good for the muggle's mind. It seemed a little excessive. She shook the thought for her head almost automatically. That wasn't- shouldn't be- a Slytherin's way of thinking. Why would she care about a muggle anyways?

Fred, George, and Lianna all laughed and pointed at the tents as they passed. Some tried to look non-descript and plain. But others- well- the magical folk definitely love their bells and whistles. Obviously the worst was a full scale miniature palace, complete with live peacocks tied in the front yard. It was no wonder Mr. Roberts needed a memory charm ten times a day when he was exposed to that.

While Mr. Weasley enthused about using a mallet to set up the tents with Harry and Hermione, Lianna wandered around their campsite. Harry was with Hermione and Ron. And though Hermione seemed to like her, Ron still wasn't sure about her. She passed the miniature palace again, this time stopping for a moment to observe the peacocks. There was someone attending to them now. A part of her wasn't surprised when she saw Daphne Greengrass standing in the lawn, with a furtive looking Theodore Nott.

"I should have guessed that this campsite was yours, Greengrass," Lianna called from the golden fence that encircled the yard.

Daphne looked up and smirked. "Evans! I didn't know you would be here!"

Lianna shrugged before opening the gate. Peacocks rushed at her in greeting. "Didn't know I would be," she responded. "Call off your birds," she laughed awkwardly. The birds reminded her of overly excited dogs.

Nott gave Lianna a small half smile. "Who are you here with, Evans?"

Lianna looked at him. "Just some family friends," she answered easily. "What team are you rooting for?"

Nott shrugged. "I'm only here with the Greengrass family to get out of the house. My father is having some important meeting tonight, and I don't really want to be there," he answered. It sounded as though he was almost defending himself. Against what, Lianna had no idea. But, she watched as Daphne gave Nott an encouraging smirk.

"Bulgaria of course," she fluffed her hair over her shoulder. "I hear Viktor Krum isn't much older than us."

Nott rolled his eyes at that. And Lianna couldn't help but almost do the same. She heard a lot about Viktor Krum over the past twelve hours. As Ron was in love with the young man himself. She shook her head. "Krum is one good player. Ireland has 7," she stated in a flat voice.

"And, it still seems that you are unaware of he importance of a brilliant seeker, Evans," another voice chimed in, low and almost mocking.

Lianna turned to see the familiar blond hair of Draco Malfoy approaching the trio. She was about to open her mouth in a reply but was cut off with a "Salazar's spit Greengrass- why bother with the peacocks!" Malfoy screeched, as one of the colorful males approached the new intruder with a weary expression, and tail unfurling wider.

Lianna snorted, comeback lost as the blond Slytherin eyed the bird cautiously. There was a whistle from instead the castle-tent, and all of the birds scurried away through the doors.

"I'll acknowledge a 'brilliant seeker', Malfoy, when I see one in action," Lianna responded in a biting tone. "Brilliance is hard to come by these days. I do hope you learn something from this match. I would hate to lose the Quidditch Cup again-"

Malfoy's eyes narrowed. "Take the summer to come up with that insult, did you Evans?" His voice low and dangerous, "or, are you finally showing us all your true colors?"

"I never had anything to hide, Malfoy," Lianna lowered her voice to match the silky calm of the boy in front of her. Though she was being completely serious, she couldn't help but notice a spark of amusement in Malfoy's eyes. She wondered why it was there. She wasn't exactly trying to be funny. Perhaps she just didn't want to be invisible this year at Hogwarts. It was hard to maintain an image around the Weasleys and the Gryffindors because Harry outshined her. He was Harry Potter- the boy who defeated Voldemort three times since he was born. And she? She was just the Girl-Who-Disappeared.

Daphne was looking at her with an odd twist to her lips. "I was wondering when you would grow fangs, Evans. You seemed to be more fit for Hufflepuff last year."

This visit took an odd turn. But, Lianna had all summer to figure out how the Slytherins worked. Respect wasn't given. It was earned. She always lived by that saying. She realized that last year; she didn't really earn the Slytherin's respect. Other than letting the snake out on the Quidditch Pitch, Lianna kept that side of her on a leash.

Nott rolled his eyes again. "Well, come on then guys. The butterbeer is in the kitchen. One of the servants went to Hogsmeade specifically to get it for us."

Daphne scoffed. "Theodore," she scolded softly. "You can be positively Hufflepuff sometimes."

Nott grinned, but it was more of a baring of teeth. Daphne's eyes flashed with something as she watched him. "Or perhaps I tire of you all spewing pointless insults at each other," he said with a pointed look towards Lianna and Malfoy.

Lianna shrugged, her hands in her pocket. "Or perhaps playing a Hufflepuff is an act: a disarming tactic. And effective," she smirked as she followed Nott into the house.

Dusk came quickly for the four Slytherins. Lianna knew that she would have to get back to the Weasleys. A part of her wasn't surprised that they hadn't come looking for her. But, none of them really knew her well enough to know where to start. She hastily said her goodbyes to Nott, Daphne, and Malfoy before pressing into the campgrounds again.

Most families were getting ready for dinner. She laughed at those wizards and witches trying to start a fire without a wand. Sometimes she witnessed them get frustrated enough to take out their own wand and silently cast the spell needed for fire. And then she simply saw others take a blue flame out of jars and place them on to the wood. The magical community was hopeless really, not being able to do anything without magic. What if their magic was stolen from them? How would they survive? Amelia taught her that magic was important. Magic was their way of life. But, it was also a crutch for some people. It made people feel powerful. And that was something that she understood. It did make her feel powerful when a simple task was in front of them. A muggle had to use a matchbook and matches to light a fire, while Lianna merely only had to wave her wand.

Coming up to the camp, Lianna wasn't surprised to see the Weasleys, Harry, and Hermione all surrounded by the campfire. Two other wizards were with them, mumbling about security and whatnot for the Match.

Fred, George, and surprisingly Harry looked to her when she quickly slid behind the shadows of the shabby tent. But it was Fred who poked her side first and asked, "Where did you sneak off to?"

Lianna answered his question with a small smirk of her own. "Nowhere special. Just exploring." She noticed the Golden Trio carrying lots of trickets and souvenirs from the vendors around the campsite. Harry held out a green rosette for her representing the Irish Quidditch team. She beamed as she took it, the flower sparkly with a green glitter and already shouting names of the players. "Thanks," she grinned at her brother.

"It's time!" Mr. Weasley exclaimed. "Come on lot, let's go!" He eagerly led the way into the wood.
