div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"I am extremely grateful to all of the support I received in 2019 when I lost my job. Many times I thought I would never be able to write again, and then someone would pop in with a review or a PM that encouraged me to keep going. And I did, writing behind the scenes and anticipating finishing my two stories so I could share them with you./div

div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"Naively, I thought I would be able to keep going, no matter what happened./div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;" /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"But I can't./div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;" /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"The last two months have landed some heavy blows, and the news I received today was the heaviest. My dad is on dialysis with end stage kidney failure. I have stage 3b kidney failure, the same disease that will take his life. And now my beloved heart dog has blood cancer, and will likely not see summer come again. /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;" /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"I need time to grieve, I need time to figure out what my next move will be. Maybe I just need time. So instead of leaving you the readers hanging, I'm formally putting the two stories, Abide and Every Moment, on hiatus. I can't make any promises as to when I'll return to Fanfiction. If things continue to sour, I will most likely lose my home as well as the people I am closest to. I do promise not to take these stories down. They were written for your reading enjoyment. /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;" /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"Please, enjoy them. It will give me some comfort knowing these stories provide a little escape to someone who might need it. In time I hope that I will heal enough to finish what I've started. /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;" /div
div style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"Until then, may your lives be blessed. Shandiss/div
