Chapter Twenty: Dreams to Reality
(Late) 300 AC
"So how are my projects going?" Danny asked. He was in his council chambers dealing with matters of his empire. Now that he was done with the White Walkers he could deal with the other problems that were popping up. The only people around him were his queens and concubines. Just looking at the table Danny had to admit that his current version was not working. The table was too small for all his people to sit and be able to face each other. It was something that would need to be dealt with while his new castle was being finished. Westeros and Essos were connected now and so Danny wanted to finally have his permanent castle created. It would be the new capital city of the connected continents. The supplies were coming from both Essos and Westeros to complete construction. It was a metaphor for his empire. One majestic empire created from the unification of two separate lands.
"Things are going very well." Mya said with a smile on her face. Danny was glad to see that she was feeling more confident. It had taken a while but now Mya was able to talk around the others with confidence.
"How are the construction of my statues going?" Danny asked. He had spent days going over the quest system wondering how he could make it more efficient and spread it out to villages, cities, town, etc.. without him being in the place to observe the task being done and reward the individual(s). He could split his mind into duplicates but doing that too many times could lead to unintended dangers and unforeseen possible consequences.
"The blacksmiths are working along schedule. The stones are being shipped from the Vale and being brought to Kingslanding. They are then being shipped out with guards who are fully dedicated to making sure the statues reach their destination." Mya answered.
That was good to hear. It was taking longer than it would have if he had done it personally but there was a reason to having other people do the work. His dream was almost accomplished. He would soon be king of over two continents and the only thing still standing in his way were a few cities with a stubborn man claiming to be king. He had people sneak into Pentos to try and find out where the man was living but every time they approached the city they would be discovered.
From the reports of survivors the people of Pentos were under protection from the Warlocks of Qarth and and the Priests/Priestesses of R'hlor. He wondered if they knew that he had defeated their ancient enemies. Would they treat him as their promised savior or stand in his way as an enemy? It would be useful to send a bard to tell his tale. They would be able to tell his tale the closest to his desire and if they were killed by them than he would not lose anyone important.
"How are our citizens faring in terms of food and shelter?" Danny asked Margaery.
"We have a surplus of food. If we were to focus on this city we could feed the soldiers and citizens for years if properly preserved but you are probably thinking of feeding more people than that?" Margaery asked him.
"That is good to hear. I want to make sure that they are stored in different areas." Danny said wanting to make sure there were no incidents. He would not be surprised if Aegon and the others resisting his rule tried to poison his supply of food and claim it is as some omen for the people following him.
"Have there been any more people urging an uprising?" Danny asked. He had been waiting for some sign of it since he returned from The North. That also reminded him that he wanted to rename that whole part of the continent. The name was uninspired and not deserving of the place where he had saved mankind. He was also thinking of Naming the area beyond the wall Mordor. In part becuase he was planning to put his most dangerous creatures there.
Unless you were the Night's Watch one does not simply walk into Mordor.
He could feel a smile rising on his face that he quickly crushed like it was the dreams of an artistic hipster.
"Not since you have returned. It has all been quiet." Arianne said.
"What do you think it means?" Danny asked. He personally had his own ideas but it would not hurt to get the opinions of his wives.
"We think it may be that they are becoming more subtle in their meeting place." Sansa said.
"They are probably trying to hide from me." Danny said with a frown on his face and leaning his head on his hands.
"We thought that too." Danaerys said. Looking at her Danny knew that he wanted to finish all this off before she had their child. He did not want to worry about anyone coming for it and using in in crazy magical rituals or raising it as a weapons against him. He would not put it against the Warlocks of Qarth to try given what Daenerys had told him when she originally visited Qarth.
"Do you think they are still meeting somewhere in the city or have they fled?" Danny asked.
"If I were them I doubt that I would want to stay want to stay in the same city as someone with your power." Margery said.
"Very well we may have to give up on finding the individuals and instead deal with their leader." Danny said.
"You mean the man that is pretending to be my cousin?" Arianne asked with a frown on her face and anger in her eyes.
"Yes. How do you feel about it?" Danny asked curious on her feeling on the matter. He wanted to know if his plan was successful or not.
"Whether it is true or not does not matter. He is the reason my uncle is dead and for that he has to pay." Arianne said the cold anger in her voice a drastic difference frim the hate in her eyes.
"I promise that Aegon will not meet a happy ending." Danny said being very careful with his wording.
"I have heard that Aegon has dragons and wizards on his side." Mya said.
"So do we." Danaerys said with an intense look in her eye.
"You have an intense look in your eye." Danny said.
"I have wanted all my life to have this throne. No one is taking it from me." Daenerys said promising death and pain for anyone that tried. Danny could see in her eyes a flame that could and probably might take her over later in life. A part of him was tempted to see that but a larger part knew that it just would cause him problems if let free. Daenerys had been making great strides before he left for The North. She had acknowledged the problems that had led to her family getting overthrown. Her brother's Rhaegar's madness and her father Aerys's cruelty. It might have been hard for her but she knew her brother Viserys's madness and from there it was all about showing similar instances with them.
"I will finish him off personally." Danny said.
"I want to be there." Daenerys said and he could see that she was beginning to tap into the power he gave her and become an actual fire. The sight reminded him that he wanted to give the others their own version seven women he chose to spend the rest of his life with. He would do it separately but eventually he wanted them all to be on a level similar to Daenerys.
"I really do not think that would go well. You may believe you can stand it but the person I will be fighting and killing might be your brother. Seeing one brother die is enough for any person." Danny said. Not to mention the fact that she was still pregnant. Fighting in a war on a dragon with a child was just too much of a risk. It was like running in a crowded street with scissors and a blindfold. It sounded dumb and would probably end horribly for a lot of people.
"Anyway enough for this meeting I need to plan what is going to happen next. All of you except Sansa leave." Danny commanded. Th others looked hesitant but still followed his orders.
"What do you need? I will help in any way I can." Sansa said seriously with kindness in her eyes.
"Nothing. I just wanted to know if you wanted to visit the Lannisters today?" Danny asked. According to his soldiers Sansa had been visiting her prisoners less and less frequently lately. Danny wanted to know what was going on with her feelings towards them.
"I am fine." Sansa said. He could still see anger in her face whenever she heard their name but it seemed liked torturing them was getting boring for her. Danny wanted to know if it was because she was getting use to it and found it less fun or she did not want to do it anymore. Each outcome had a response prepared.

"Hello and how are the two of you doing today?" Danny asked as he faced Joffrey and Cersei who had chains binding them to the walls. They had been held for months but their anger had yet to fade. No matter what Sansa put them through and no matter how much they cried out they were healed and ready for their next session. Say what you will about the Lannisters but they would not give in easy. Whether it was pride or anger they had something to keep them going.
"What do you want you bastard?" Joffrey asked glaring at him full of hate.
"I just wanted to tell you I will be letting you out for a bit soon." Danny said with a smile on his face.
"Why would you do that?" Cersei said staring at him the anger fading. She was clearly suspicious but He could tell she could not help the little bit of hope rising inside of her.
"I want to two of you to see when my true coronation. When I finish conquering Essos and combine it with Westeros. It will be a grand celebration to mark my reign. I would not want to two of you to miss it." Danny said with a smile watching their anger rise.
"You smug bastard!" Joffrey growled and tried to lunge at him with the intent of choking the life out of him but due to the chains tripped and fell before he even got close. Danny just had a smile on his face as he walked closer to the fallen king. He gripped Joffrey's chin and forced him to look up to him.
"I think I deserve to be a little smug don't you? I mean I will have accomplished more than anyone else in the history of both lands." Danny said with a smile.
"You are full of arrogance. All of it undeserved." Cersei growled at him but made no effort to charge him like her son did.
"I think my arrogance is warranted. I won after all." Danny said.
"The only reason you won is because you are an unnatural abomination." Joffrey said.
"You hold advantages over mortal men and you think that it makes you better. Your arrogance blinds you to the fact that without your power you are nothing. no one would love you or follow you." Cersei said hitting deeper than she knew. Danny would not show a reaction to let her know how her words were affecting him but part of him was tempted to remove her ability to speak but all that would prove was that she was right.
He would never let that happen.
"It does not matter what you do to us. I will eventually get free and then you and your whores will pay for what you have done to me." Joffrey said with an ugly expression on his face. There was so much anger Joffrey's face that Danny thought he might have accidentally turned it into a tomato.
"Don't worry I am sure Sansa will get bored of torturing the lot of you eventually. You will be free then." Danny said. Of course that was the day the Lannister prisoners would die and all the people inside the room knew it.
"Well this has been fun but I have to go now. Cities to conquer and enemies to smite." Danny said walking out of the room with a smile.
0-0-0-0-0-0-0
Danny looked at the table in front of him. There were two letters each for different destinations. One was for the man leading the Free City of Braavos and the other was for the man claiming to be Aegon Targaryen. These were letters of submission. He did not think they would take the offer but he would still like to give them.
"What are you doing?" Arya asked and Danny turned to see her and Mya behind him.
"Offering my enemies the chance to surrender. They are not likely to take it but I still want to give them a chance." Danny said.
"They may take it." Mya said to him with a smile and Danny just wanted to smile at her optimism. The current Sealord of Braavos Ferrego Antaryon might accept the letter given that his terms were simply surrendering the city and letting him execute the House of Black and White and all the Faceless Men inside. He did not want any magical assassins in this world that he did not create or could control.
They had already proved to be his enemies given that they were trying to lead his people in revolt. This would not be like Stargate. There would be no revolutions that sent him fleeing from this planet. These assassins were going to die in agony as a sign to those who would ever get the idea to overthrow him.
Aegon on the other hand would probably refuse his terms. For the man that claimed to be a Targaryen his offer was that Aegon would surrender to his army and a majority of the people of Pentos would survive as long as they surrendered to him. He thought these terms were fair given the trouble these people were trying to bring to him.
"What are you two doing here anyway?" Danny asked.
"I heard from Missandei that you were sitting in here glaring at something troubling you." Mya said as she walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Thank you." Danny said smiling at her which in turned caused her to smile at him. The two of them were getting lost in their own world and forgetting anything else existed until the sound of a chair falling reminded them that someone else was in the room.
"Yes Arya?" Danny asked.
"Before the two of you started ignoring me I was on my here to ask you something." Arya said as she picked up the fallen chair.
"What is it Arya?" Danny asked his sister-in-law.
"When you deal with Braavos can you spare my friend?" Arya asked.
"Your friend? You mean the Faceless Man that saved you?" Danny asked.
"Yes. He helped me stay alive when I was a prisoner and hiding from the Lannisters." Arya said and just like her sister her face tightened when she said their name. Sansa may have been losing her anger towards that family but he doubted Arya ever would.
"I can try." Danny said. Most of the Faceless Men had to die that was not changing but he could make one exception for family. There were plenty of ways to deal with him without killing the man. Danny waved his hands and the letters vanished.
All he had to do now was wait for the responses. How they responded would dictate his next action. Whether it would be peaceful of if those Free Cities would suffer a fate similar to his earlier conquests. His dream was so close to becoming a reality and he would allow no one to stand in his way.

(End of) 300 AC
"Today is a wonderful day." Danny said as he looked over the city of Braavos from the giant bronze statue. The screams of soldiers rang out along with the clashing of swords. The canals were transporting the bodies of the dead. Carrying them from the battlefield to the ocean. There were no trees in the city except for in the private estates. The city was made of stone and water.
"Die bastard!" A voice shouted out and Danny looked to see that it was an archer aiming at him from a rooftop.
"You first." Danny said and burned the man alive with blue flames. The man screamed and tried to get away. He fell to the ground and landed with a crack. His blood flowing in the concrete streets. The arrow was stopped in the air and sent to strike and enemy soldier in the leg. The pain distracted him for a moment allowing one of his soldiers to stab him in the chest with a dagger.
Without a care Danny jumped off of the bronze statue to land in the city. Danny turned that bronze statue indestructible. He was going to be taking it later as a trophy and so he did not want anyone to burn it done or somehow crack it during the fight. He continued walking through the city and anyone that was dumb enough to challenge him. There were more than a few dumb enough to try. Some tried cutting through him with swords but they broke upon contact and the soldiers were given an energy blast through the stomach for their effort. Others tried using arrows when they saw close combat would not end in their favor. Danny turned intangible and let the weapons pass through him before sending them right back to their owners. The ones that tried to dodge the arrows were set on fire for their trouble. Danny changed the colors of the fire with each target.
There were enough colored fires to form a rainbow several times over.
Danny continued calmly walking to his destination. The house of Black and White was the headquarters of the Faceless Men. It was not that hard to find all he had to do was look for the building with the black and white doors. It was probably useful for the mystical brotherhood of Assassins to be located so easily as they were a long accepted part of Braavosi culture. According to what Missandei told him they were the reason that Braavos was able to be formed. They were the slaves that had escaped the rule of the Valaryens by learning how to swap faces.
They probably never expected someone like him to exist and come after them.
"My King." A soldier said appearing before him to bow while keeping a hold of his sword. Looked like he was a member of his spy division. A part of him had been tempted to send them to deal with the Faceless Men. A shadow war of assassination between magic spies. It sounded amazing but it would take too long and he was not sure if they could get rid of them all. It was better to do it in person. Or have a version of him do it anyway.
"Yes?" Danny asked.
"It seems that the Sealord of Braavos has been slain." The soldiers said. The man really should have accepted his terms when he offered them three weeks ago. Now he was dead and his city was in ruins.
"Very well how is the battle going?" Danny asked.
"The battle is almost finished. Besides several areas where the soldiers have taken to hide in most of the city is yours and the fighting will soon finish." The soldier said.
"Good." Danny said.
"Will we be joining the other army at Pentos when this is over?" The soldier asked.
"No. After this is done you and the others may drink to your heart's content. I have another army ready to deal with Aegon and Pentos." Danny said causing the soldier to nod and vanish again.
Looking up at the sun and clear skies Danny felt at peace. It would all be finished today. Danny picked up a stone uncaring of the dead bodies next to it. The next instant it turned to a silver sword. he swung in the air a few times to get the feel of it. When he was comfortable with it he resumed his previous pace to the House of Black and White. Without his noticing he had started whistling.
The tune was nonsense but as he walked through the streets it caused a shiver to go done the spines of whoever heard him. Whether they were on his side or against him. It was a sound promising death and on the face of a monster humanity never had a chance of fighting against. It would give many nightmares years later and drive others to madness.
Danny Eventually reached his desired building walked up the different colored steps. He turned intangible and walked right through the doors. Before he moved even a step he sealed the doors. No matter how the Faceless Men pushed all their doors would not budge an inch. Air could still flow through them but for the most part they could be considered another part of the wall.
"Demon!" A man shouted as their eyes came into contact. he charged at him with a sword slice that Danny turned sideways from and countered with a slash that cut through the man from front to back. Blood and guts sprayed in every direction.
"Wonderful." Danny complained with a glare at the man whose blood he was wearing.
"Now where is everyone else?" Danny asked conjuring a compass to point him in the direction of the Faceless Men. He had already put in them an impulse for all members to return to this house today. He wanted to get rid of the group all at once and not spend another day having to hunt them down.
He would not lie and say that he would not enjoy hunting them down He could have flooded this place and drowned everyone if he wanted it over quick. He wanted to enjoy this before he was forced to fade away.
"You dare come in here!" A voice growled aiming a crossbow at him causing him to look to his left at a kneeling Faceless Man while one from another hallway came charging with a dagger.
"Let's have some fun." Danny said breaking his sword into two daggers for each hand. He extended each hand to face each of his opponents. The Faceless Man with the sword came with a sword slash that Danny dodged by dodged by turning intangible and sliding on the floor. He stabbed the man in the Achilles heel bringing her down to her knees and following with a strike through the head.
"Thanks friend." Danny said to the corpse that he was holding that had blocked the Faceless Man's arrow.
Danny threw the body at the Faceless Man who rolled out of the way but while he was doing that Danny jumped all the way behind him. The Faceless Man glanced around looking for him without a clue that he was behind him. The Faceless Man turned around quickly but that did not help given that he turned invisible.
He still did not die as whether by instinct or mystical power he backed out of Danny's range.
"You are good." Danny said as he became visible holding his sword in his hand which had been intended to stab through he man.
"You reek of blood demon. Alongside your bloodlust you are easy to find." The faceless Man said glaring at him.
"Lesson learned." Danny said and starred swing the sword. With each swish music started ringing out around them.
Are you ready, hey, are you ready for this?
Danny tensed his hand and moved in for a charge. The tension was building in the room. The Faceless Man's eyes darted around looking for the source of the music but always returned them just as quickly to Danny making sure to keep him in view.
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?
Out of the doorway the arrows fly
To the sound of the beat
"What is this?" The Faceless Man said pulling out a shorter dagger from his robes.
"The final song that your brotherhood will ever hear." Danny said as he snapped his fingers. Before the assassin could question him he was turned to stone. It was not long after that Danny sliced the statue in half. The broken pieces of stone turned to dust and in a few seconds were gone.
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you, too
Another one bites the dust
The music kept ringing through the building bouncing off the statues of past members and the statues of the god of many faces and his disguises creating an ominous echo that promised nothing but doom.
Danny felt that it was the perfect song for today.

Danny smiled as he looked at the city before him. The city of Pentos had high walls that were tiled and glinted when hit by the sun. It's building were of a similar color as the sand of the Essossi desert. It made it difficult to differentiate but at night it probably gave it a beautiful glow along with the night wind. He had grown fond of Esossi nights since he arrived in this world those two years ago. The warm sand that his feet could sink into alongside the cool night watching the stars that were different from his memories and seeing the constellations that they formed.
"Should we charge upon the city my king?" A soldier asked causing Danny to look over at him. Danny was mostly focused on the armor. It was a black chest-plate with white highlights from the breast upwards. The shoulders were varied in appearance depending on preference. Some pads extended from the shoulders for one version, while another was held by straps over the shoulders, another had the shoulder pads lead down and guard the higher parts of the arm while still allowing full use of the arms.
"Not yet." Danny said cracking his fingers and jumping down from the podium. Looking behind him He could see all thirty thousand soldiers behind him waiting for him to give the order and march. They had come this far and they wanted to help him reach the end. They would probably tear apart the city brick by brick if he gave the order.
"Aegon Targaryen come out!" Danny shouted as he walked closer and closer to the city. His voice was amplified to ring over the entire city.
"What do you want?" A man shouted from above. Looking up he could see that it was Griff or Jon Connigton as he had been known before his exile. The man had stopped dying his hair blue and allowed it to return to its natural brown. There was a sword in the man's hand that was sharp and capable of reflecting rays of the sun off of the blade.
"I stated my desire. I want Aegon Targaryen to come outside and to have us talk face to face." Danny said with a smile.
"Come out to be slaughtered by your army no doubt. Aegon is no fool and matter what effort you make to insult him he won't fall for your ploy." Connington said.
"I just want to have a drink with the man. Do not worry I don't plan on killing him yet." Danny said with a smile.
"What sort of fool would fall for that ploy. You would probably poison him if he met you." Connington said.
"How about I come alone into the city. You supply the wine so you do not have to worry." Danny said.
"You are just as dangerous inside the city as you are outside so I will deny your invitation on our king's behalf." Connington said.
"You make an astute observation I am dangerous whether I am inside the city or outside." Danny said stretching out his hands. "So here is an ultimatum Aegon Targaryen comes out or I sink this city and drown all of you in a sea of sand."
"You are bluffing." A voice cried out.
"You are a demon!" another voice cried out with desperation.
"Save us king Aegon." Another voice cried out.
"I'll do anything please do not kill us." Another voice cried out breaking down into sobs.
"Sure bring Aegon Targaryen to me and I will allow you all to live." Danny said with a smile.
The man did not get far because as soon as Danny heard the sound of footsteps he heard screams of pain and the sound of flesh being pierced. Well it looks like the person pleading for their life did not get very far.
"My King above you." A soldier from behind called out causing him to look up and there flying in the sky was a dragon. It was about the length of four adults with red skin and black scales. It had horns that extended from it's skull located near the eyes. It had very sharp teeth and rigid spines along that back that would have made for a very uncomfortable ride which was probably why the saddle looked to be extra sturdy.
The soldiers looked shocked but he was used to dragons both in this world and the previous one. Danny could see that the dragon was about to open its mouth and let loose a rain of fire hot enough to turn the sand they were standing on to glass. Of course Danny could not allow his soldiers to become barbecue and so he increased the gravity on Aegon and his dragon bringing the crashing to the soft ground.
"Ow." Aegon groaned in pain.
"Don't worry. I made sure the fall would not kill you." Danny said tossing the dragon off of him and looking at the crushed leg. Danny winced at the injury before healing it completely. It would ruin their talk if the man was crippled for the short time he had left.
"Bastard." Ageon growled at him.
"Probably." Danny said lifting the man up and conjuring tent and table around them. On the table was a golden jug filled with wine and two green cups to drink it out of.
"I will never surrender to you monster. I will fight you until the end and I can claim my throne." Aegon said looking at him with a glare.
"Relax. We can talk about that in detail after all that is why you are here. Take a drink." Danny said as he took a seat. He grabbed a cup and poured the wine in his before offering for Aegon.
"Why would I trust anything you give me?" Aegon asked.
"Do not be too suspicious I do not plan on poisoning you." Danny said looking Aegon over. His skin complex was similar to Arianne a tan brown and his hair color was similar to Daenerys's platinum blonde. He had to admit that if this man was a fraud than they got one very close to what might have been the real child of Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell.
"Just because you say it does not mean it is true." Aegon said.
"How about I drink first?" Danny asked. He knew that the wine would taste like a strawberry smoothie even if it wasn't
"Does not matter. I know about your abilities could make it so that it only poisons me." Aegon said.
"Fine then if you are going to force my hand." Danny said
"Drink." Danny said as his eye glowed an ominous green. Aegon looked at him with a glare but that did not stop his arm from moving.
"Wh-h-h-h-y can't I stop?" Aegon stuttered as he tried to lower his arm. Even using his other hand to stop it from rising. Nothing worked and the terror on Aegon's face grew as the cup grew closer to his lips.
"Because I do not want you to." Danny said looking at the other king.
"Please stop." Aegon begged.
"Don't worry. I told you it is not poison." Danny said watching as Aegon drunk the entire cup with tears running down his eyes.
"There happy now?" Danny asked looking at Aegon who finally had control over his arm again.
"I'm not dead?" Aegon asked.
"I told you that I was not going to poison you." Danny said with a smile on his face.
"Now let us talk. King to king." Danny said pouring another cup.
"There is not much to say. I want my throne and my home. I will not rest til I take back what you took from me.
"I mean Daenerys has the better claim as she is the daughter of King Aerys while you claim to be the son of Prince Rhaegar." Danny said.
"That is not how Westeros works. Ever since the Dance of Dragons it has been decreed that the when it comes to succession the male comes before the female. My claim is stronger." Aegon said.
"That only depends if you are strong enough to take it. You aren't." Danny said with a smile and took another sip.
"I have dragons, wizards, and priestesses. We will find a way to end you." Aegon said with a hard look in his eye.
"You might have if any of you had a chance to survive the next few hours." Danny said causing Aegon to jump out of his seat.
"You said you did not poison me." Aegon said with rage on his face.
"I did not but that does not mean the wine was just wine." Danny said with a smile as he turned Aegon to stone. The wine had an effect that linked Aegon together with everyone that had ever pledged loyalty to him. He had thought about making this one huge spectacle to add to his legend but he figured why not just get it over with.
All he needed was for Aegon to appear before him.
"Well I hope you find peace in whatever afterlife awaits you." Danny said snapping his fingers causing the stone statue to turn to dust and scatter with the wind. The cries coming from the city meant that the others were suffering a similar fate.
"My king is it done?" a soldier asked after walking up to the tent and pushing through the curtain. Danny thought that it might be Rohlf. He used to be a Sheppard from Essos if his memory was right.
'Yes. It is done." Danny said lifting the toy that he had turned the dragon into. He could either give it to his future kid or give it to Daenerys one way or another.
"What is our next task?" Rohlf asked.
"Now my soldier? Now we celebrate." Danny said with a smile and another sip of his drink.
It tasted like victory.

Early 001 P.D.C.
Danny looked from upon his table at the center of the festival at all the people celebrating. Today was his coronation and the day that marked the true unification of the east and he west. He had long connected Westeros and Essos with each other and completed his empire. The Castle he would spend the rest of his reign at was still being constructed. It was being constructed in a way that combined the styles of both continents. Large buildings with twisted arches. Paintings from both sides as well. He thought it might have been too big but It was how his wives wanted it. They put up with his selfish goals so he went along with theirs.
The party was being held in a huge garden. There were pillars around them with images of dragons and wolves in equal amount to represent the Starks and the Targaryens. There were green and yellow roses representing House Tyrell lain across the pillars in a row of seven for each pillar. There were drums that gave off different colors of fire in intervals of three minutes. Once leftover bits of food were tossed into them they would come out of the fire as a butterfly of the same color. It would only last til the end of the day but the children loved it even if it annoyed their parents to see them wasting the food. That was more in amount and better in taste than they regularly got as peasants.
There were plenty of prostitutes around but they were subtle about so not to scar any of the children. It was legal already in both countries beforehand so he saw no reason to get rid of it. He did have Ros oversee them all and make sure that there were no people below the age of adulthood and He made sure that no one got any diseases after curing the ones that already had them.
No one should be miserable during his reign anymore than he needed them too.
Danny got up and cleared his throat which when amplified got everyone's attention.
"I am glad that we could all come here today. The people we fought with and the people we love." Danny said looking out into the crowd for the people that he could recognize. There was Egon Emeros enjoying a cup of wine, Barristan Selmy watching Daenerys with joy, Leonidas being accosted by several young women. He had given the man a huge amount of gold and some land in Essos for all his help. There was Mercylla and Edric walking together along the edges of the garden with complicated looks on their faces. The Starks were with the Tullys enjoying being united again as a family. Edmure still looked uncomfortable while Roslin looked very content so and he was fine with that. Turning in another direction Danny could see the Ironborn sitting at another table very uncomfortable being here but Kera wanted to be here along with her son and the rest of the Ironborn were not going to disagree with her and invoke his wrath. Especially not on the day that marked his celebration. They all knew how long he had waited for it.
They knew they would either suffer through it or they would die. Looking at the Ironborn Danny could not help but remember what happened to Theon Greyjoy. The man's life ended a few weeks ago due to a lightning strike. Danny found it odd especially since he had no hand in it. The gods if they were real must have just hated him to kill him like that after everything.
Perhaps it was a mercy. No more suffering.
"In the beginning I knew that I would fulfill my dream but I did not know how many people I would come to care for through my trials." Danny said looking at his wives that were sitting next to him and his concubines that were sitting at the edge of the table where it bent like the lower letter n. In the few months since he conquered Pentos they had changed. Daenerys had her child which turned out to be a son with his eyes and her hair. His name was Vytor. Danny had told Daenerys that there were too many Aegons and he wanted the child to find it's own path and not be named after anyone who had come before.
The kid may have a different opinion when he had children but for now no child of his was ever going to be named Aegon. They needed to come up with new names not just repeat what had came before. Sansa was getting a similar lecture when she had kids. No Brandons.
Danny got there early and made sure that the boy was a half ghost and with nowhere near the amount of power he had. He had long promised that he would not become like Cronus or Aragon. He would not abuse or try to destroy his relative he just altered reality and made sure that no child of his could ever rise to his level of power. It was a good decision because even with the amount of power he had now he was a handful for his wives and the kid's nanny.
Apparently he inherited a lot from Daenerys and was very fond of fire and flying. Danny wondered if the kid would get shapeshifting. Then Daenerys could truly be called the mother of dragons. He was just waiting for the day. Margaery and Mya were also pregnant. The people of court were waiting to see which one would be born first. He would not be surprised to learn that they were betting on it.
"I just want to thank all of you that helped make my dreams come true." Danny said raising a cup for a toast amid the cheers and claps. Loooking even further than before Danny could see the growling faces of Joffrey and Cersei hidden behind cloaks and surrounded by soldiers. They could hear and see every word and his smile only made them angrier.
He enjoyed the sight. After all one of the most important things that Vlad learned and imparted in him was "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women!"
That made victory even better than the sweetest wine.
