I don't own DB or DC

A/N: I still some people arguing that Gohan is a pacifist and wouldn't want to fight… I think they're forgetting what timeline this story is in. Schools don't exist anymore, Gohan has been fighting for his life for nearly twenty-years and started fighting when he was four, and never stopped fighting after age 10 because of the Cyborgs. He's not a scholar, guys.

Also, there's an important cliffhanger at the end of the last chapter that's relevant to this one but, wasn't added in until a day or two after I posted the chapter initially. So, if you didn't read it, head back now, it's not long.

Chapter 8

"This is for Trunks!" After a second or two of dodging his attacks, Gohan announced this and spun to kick him in the chest before charging energy between his palms that, once fired, pressed Seventeen back into a canyon carved earlier by Supergirl, completely obliterating the mountain in a white-hot explosion.

Coming up from the water like a bullet, Eighteen rushed Gohan so fast she was almost impossible to spot, and yet the Saiyan was prepared and used her own momentum against her by landing a counter-kick so accurately that the velocity of her approach only increased the force of his attack; another sonic boom was sent out at the moment of contact with her face.

Eighteen was sent hurtling into the fiery remains of their old cliffside headquarters, barely recovering when an intense beam of yellow Ki energy struck her from just one of Gohan's hands, toppling the entire mountain-side into the ocean with a similar explosion, and dragging her down along with it. She didn't need air and fought to get free but, billions of tons of rock and concrete pinned her momentarily a hundred feet below the surface.

Supergirl floated down, having seen the entire fight, she was astonished at Gohan's new level of strength and speed, "Wow…" she announced as he stared down Sixteen, who now floated alone in front of the powerful Super Saiyan. Her eyes glimmered at the sight of his glowing aura and golden hair, it seemed far more tamed than it usually was, he was literally sparkling above the ocean water, "You're amazing!"

Gohan peeked over his shoulder with a confident smile, "I told you, this ends tonight, I can thank my father for this one!" he assumed a proper fighting stance facing Sixteen who was already combat ready.

They floated closer to one another slowly, "I'm going to give you one chance, because I don't see that you've taken any life, to walk away from this."

Gohan's plea fell on deaf ears as Sixteen responded, "My programming does not allow me to avoid conflict with Son Goku, you share a large portion of his DNA."

"So, if you kill me, you wouldn't go on to kill anyone else?" He asked reasonably, surprised to hear any sort of reasoning coming from an android.

"Your inquiry is irrelevant," in a feat of speed, Sixteen vanished and rematerialized above Gohan with his fist aimed downward; he didn't have time to react and so he took the full force of the punch. It pierced his powerful aura and struck him in the face with the weight of a planet, sending the Saiyan tumbling back through the air, barely catching himself as his aura involuntarily dispersed.

He wiped his lip and looked down at the small trickle of blood that he smeared off on his Gi, "Okay, fine, an android is an android," Gohan shouted igniting his Super Saiyan energy once again which illuminated the night sky around them but, didn't seem to generate any response from Sixteen.

Kara watched as they collided at speeds far faster than light, by hundreds if not thousands of times, even with her superior senses she could only catch glimpses of the shockwaves they created when they clashed, vanishing and reappearing to clash and vanish once again, repeatedly. She darted her head to the left where she just barely caught sight of Gohan landing a knee strike to the android's chin before they both dematerialized. Supergirl was almost shocked that she couldn't at all follow their combat, only barely hearing the vibrations from consecutive blows connecting as another quick flash of Sixteen right hooking Gohan in the face appeared before vanishing yet again.

"What incredible speed!" Her attention was quickly drawn behind her as the mountain Gohan destroyed atop Seventeen imploded, quaking the ground around it and vaporizing all of the rubble in his way; he was breathing heavily, his hair a fray and his shirt was torn in various ways.

Eighteen lifted a three-hundred ton steel beam off of her and darted out of the water, leaving a trail of bubbles behind her, she suddenly felt incredibly pain in her leg… something she forgot she could even feel, not like this. Slowly rising out of the water, she swung her blonde hair back, running her hands through it to get it out of the way of her eyes, "Damn, how did he get so powerful so quickly? We only left him for four maybe five days?" She tore the mostly shredded blouse she had on off revealing a plain-black sports bra which matched her torn leggings, it wasn't surprising that she was in peak physical condition with a tight six-pack to prove it.

Seventeen appeared beside her as they both set their sights on Supergirl who was now unprotected, "Well," he started as he took a breath and sighed, "We finally got the big-guy up and running and it looks like…" Gohan's golden fist clashed with Sixteen's much bulkier one, sending a shockwave out from above them as they dematerialized again in a burst of speed, "He's got old stumpy occupied leaving you… open."

She floated back as the Kryptonian attempted to fire her heat-vision to avoid close quarters combat but, Seventeen stepped out in front of his sister countering with his own purple beams from his Ki powered ocular weapons. Their energies collided and sent bright magenta sparks out around them as the colors of their blasts mixed, it wasn't long before Supergirl was overpowered, just barely getting her arms in front of her before being hit with them beams, igniting an explosion.

Kara rushed out, gliding over the ocean water at her top speed to try her best to put distance between them and herself but, it proved fruitless as she took a look back finding Eighteen following from behind. She just barely reacted to Seventeen who'd already materialized in front of her, cornering her once again; floating back, she tried to do the last thing they expected and attacked.

Supergirl flew in to strike Eighteen in the face but, after her favorite blouse was ruined and they'd realized how much stronger Gohan was than them, she was in no mood to humor her. So, the punch landed on her face which only pushed her back through the air a foot or two as her face recoiled with little to no results.

"Ouch," Seventeen said with his hands on his hips as the female android started chuckling, "That'll hurt your pride," he chided as a tear welled in Kara's eye and she looked between them and her fist.

Eighteen cracked her neck, "I know something that'll hurt more," she grinned as she right hooked Kara in the face sending a splatter of blood out over the ocean, Seventeen followed up by punting her downward with two palms but, before she could hit the water Eighteen palm-struck her in the center of the chest. Supergirl skipped across the water at the speed of sound for miles like a smooth stone before hitting the cliffside she just tried to escape from back first, deeply carving her body into the rock.

Seventeen appeared and punched her in the center of her chest, above the breasts, shattering a large chunk of the mountain behind her as he grabbed her by the face and flew at the speed of light, dragging her through the coastal line, uprooting thousands of tons in rock. Supergirl snapped her eyes open as they shun crimson and fired off a beam but, she'd used almost all of her solar energy and so he just used his newly replaced palm to stop the beams forcing them back into her eyes, burning them with her own attack.

Eighteen appeared next to him, grabbing her by the ankle and pulling her from the mountain-side, she tossed the Kryptonian back towards Sixteen and Gohan before speeding ahead of her and right-crossing her in the face, sending her back first into the mountain again.

Kara pulled her head from the side of the mountain, the rest of her body still pinned as she gasped for breath, spitting up saliva and blood, Eighteen appeared in front of her by only a few inches, "I told you from day one that you had this coming, bitch!" she followed up this statement by rapidly uppercutting her in the lower abdomen, involuntarily sending more blood spilling out, splattering it across her jaw and chin.

Gohan brought his left forearm up which blocked a powerful right hook, attempting to counter with a right-straight but, the punch was caught in Sixteen's grip, pulling back his right arm, Gohan expected a punch but, not one in the form of a projectile. Sixteen's rocket-fist just barely grazed the Saiyan's cheek as he refused to release his grip but, now only had one hand as the other was behind them circling around to return to the bot.

Gohan used this opportunity to fire a beam of yellow Ki from his free hand, forcing Sixteen back enough to release his grip; a golden energy surged around him as the Super Saiyan dove head first in an attempt to land a right-cross to his face.

Sixteen's scanners were superior to either of the Cyborg's making it easy to calculate his trajectory and aim the returning rocket-arm to come from above before he could make contact; all of this took place in the span of a microsecond as they realigned with the speed of everything around them when Gohan fell.

The fist hit the center of his back at speeds twenty or thirty times that of light, rupturing his spine in several different places as it sent him into the ground at the android's feet. He pushed himself up as best he could as Sixteen reattached the arm like a gauntlet, floating down with scrapes and cuts across his face.

Gohan could see Supergirl being savagely beaten by Eighteen and Seventeen as he lifted his head, he trained for this but it clearly wasn't enough; Kara had been tossed into the canyon and trapped, she needed him but, this new android was far stronger than he expected with a totally different skill set than either of the first two.

Sixteen was twenty feet away from Gohan who faced the ocean from the cliff they stood on, looking up only at Supergirl as she was being brutally pummeled; "I truly am sorry, I will ensure that she at least survives," This was shocking as in this moment, he showed something that neither Cyborg ever had in his experience… compassion. Of course, he followed this up by tucking both of his arms under the opposing armpit, detaching both of his arms revealing cannons built into him. Yellow Ki energy gathered slowly as it concentrated until it was strong enough to wipe the entire planet out, possibly even enough to force the Sun to go supernovae if it were applied that way.

Gohan closed his eyes and focused on the power he trained so hard to master for nearly an entire twelve months to the day but, he wasn't sure he had the control enough to tap into that power. His training consisted mostly of mastering the stamina drain that came with his Super Saiyan transformation, he tried staying in the form for as long as possible but, failed after only a few weeks. He focused intently on growing in power, using the multi-form technique to train with duplicates of himself and spending days fortifying his mental defenses with image training. His hard work did, however, give him the boost he needed to beat the androids, that much was certain but, how could he have ever planned for a third? His Super Saiyan form may have been mastered but, it wasn't enough to compete with this behemoth.

Eighteen grabbed Supergirl by the collar of her liquid-fiber suit and pulled her in, raising her fist and igniting it with yellow Ki, as Gohan dug his fingers into the ground a golden hue suddenly begun emanating from his body in waves; he had done so much mental and physical training in the Room of Spirit and Time but, he couldn't master his emotional outbursts in time. He couldn't trigger that ascended state he sought at will, it just happened on its own and this fact was killing him. That he had the power but, didn't know how to use it, couldn't use it, to save the woman he loved.

The meter on Gohan's prosthetic suddenly begun rising as the inner wiring began to hum with a bright neon-blue glow lining the entire silver arm. Sixteen stopped for a moment, his readings were going off the charts as his opponents power growth was an unexpected phenomenon in itself, "I wont let you cruel bastards take her from me…" he muttered under his breath his blood dripping from his lower lip as he stood to one knee, "I wont let you take anyone from me, not ever again!" shouting this time, his outburst reignited his powerful aura and collapsed the cliff they stood on, sending Sixteen off balance as he decided to reattach his arms instead of attacking.

Clouds formed above them as the force of his power attracted a powerful thunderstorm, forming billions of joules in lightning followed by loud claps of thunder; just his powering up changed the weather itself as the night sky was suddenly littered with grey clouds again. Overcasting the moonlight, Gohan's relentless aura was now the brightest source of light around them as it approached midnight.

Gohan's muscles contracted, his bangs shot up as his hair grew in length slightly, the golden lightning he charged turned bright blue, like bolts of electricity flashing across his aura which became twice as thick, "Hah!" with one hand, he charged and fired an intense blast of yellow energy, pushing Sixteen off his feet and away from him, while he was distracted by the weather changing.

He blasted off in a straight line, leaving a massive shockwave behind that caused Sixteen to recoil, as he quickly intercepted Eighteen's assault on Kara; grabbing her wrist mid swing stopping the next blow from landing, using all of the restraint in his body not to rip her arm off then and there, "Hagh!" he shouted as he sent a pulse of Ki out forcing both twins back, forcing Eighteen to let go with sheer power alone.

"Caution is advised, his power has doubled since he arrived!" Sixteen shouted as he recovered from being blasted, only slightly smoldering as he stood back up.

Gohan held a hand out as Kara struggled to pull it from the side of the mountain she'd been pummeled into, grabbing hold of his forearm, she pulled herself out of the rocks immediately keeling over in pain with Gohan supporting her, "Are you okay?"

She tried to speak, "I'll-" coughing abruptly as blood splattered into the palms of her hands, "Be fine…"

Gohan quickly sent his glare at the two Cyborgs which sent yet another pulse of energy strong enough to force them back even further, like they were pushing against the current, trying to swim up a waterfall. Said metaphorical waterfall being an immense surge of Ki that was still growing stronger as his aura grew brighter and the bolts of lightning surrounding him became more frequent, a tear ran down his cheek as he stared them both down with a ferocious scowl.

Sixteen flew from in between them, too shocked by his skyrocketing energy to react, the ginger landed a solid right-straight to the Super Saiyan's exposed chest but, the blow didn't even make him flinch. Gohan simply looked down at the mechanical fist pressed against him, the force of which felt like an airsoft gun or perhaps a rubber bullet. Using his new strength, he reached down and grabbed the arm too fast for Sixteen to back away, knowing it detached, Gohan crushed the hand in his grip from the wrist down. Sixteen retreated back a few feet once he finally unlatched his right fist which the Saiyan tossed aside, into the ocean below.

"We need to help him," Seventeen suggested as his sister nodded in agreement; they appeared on either side of Sixteen, either one with fists faster than light aimed for his head only, they never made contact. Gohan had calculated their exact positions and effortlessly caught each fist simultaneously; he spun his arms once, sending both Cyborgs in opposing directions at dangerous speeds before advancing towards Sixteen bringing his hands down on his head, keeping it in place as he swung upwards for a knee-strike to the face.

Kara tried her best to see what was going on but, what Seventeen did to her eyes had blurred her vision and all she could see was Gohan's glowing golden back, surges of electricity cackling across every muscle, "Damn," she mumbled trying to wipe away the burning sensation from her eyes.

Seventeen, Eighteen, and Sixteen eventually recovered, floating back up to face him, "What should we do?"

Eighteen hesitated as she pulled on the thin strap keeping her sports-bra intact, "I don't know, if he blasts me one more time, I'll either be dead or topless and I'm not opting for either."

"Strategic retreat is highly advised," Sixteen suggested.

"Actually…" an unfamiliar, raspy voice announced itself from atop the cliffside itself; a lot of it had been destroyed in the ensuing battle but, the creature standing before them was too big to ignore, "You're all right where I need you to be…" he motioned to the injured androids below with a smiling beak-like feature. He was a tall, dark-green, bipedal insectoid-creature, with a long-pointed tail and reptilian skin.

"W-What the hell is that?" Gohan announced as it stared down at then, licking its beak as though it was salivating at the thought of them, his aura dispersed spite keeping his ascended super form, pointing up at it, "Who is that?"

Seventeen turned around for just a moment before Eighteen did the same, "How the hell should we know?"

"Brother… Sister… and," the creature stopped when seeing Sixteen, "Whoever you are… I am here to reunite us in glorious perfection as we were always meant to be!"

"Did you say brother?"

"And sister?"

Supergirl placed a hand on Gohan's shoulder, keeping behind him as her vision still failed her even with her healing factor; the Saiyan could tell that the Cyborgs truly had no clue about this new advisory that waited so long to show itself.

"I was created as designation: Cell," he responded, placing a hand on his chest, "You were programmed with the fighting styles of the strongest fighters on Earth; I was born with the DNA of the strongest fighters in the Galaxy," he made the difference very apparent by emphasizing his point, "Once I absorb you two, I can assume my perfect form and fulfill Gero's programming."

Seventeen chuckled, "Yea, we're not about to let some creepy bug-thing absorb us, I'd rather stick with the living glow-stick over here," he jabbed his thumb back at Gohan, who kept on guard but, didn't react.

"I don't recall giving you an ultimatum," Cell's tail slapped the ground, cracking the stone beneath his three toed feet; he pumped his body full of Ki, letting it course through him as his true power level started to show a clear, thick, powerful aura formed around him, "Ha!" he shouted.

Miles and miles away, Bulma exited the facility and pushed aside the few guards they had left, climbing up the ladder leading to the roof; as she was climbing, the ground below shook and she felt herself cling to the metal bars for a second. As it subsided, she climbed over the edge and dusted off her pants, there had been a spree of earthquakes coming from their old base sight but, Kara and Gohan were nowhere to be found.

Not having the resources that she once did, she used the best set of binoculars she could find and raced to the highest point of their building. Grabbing the goggles from around her forehead, she lowered them over her eyes as they zoomed in for her, miles upon miles away massive explosions erupted.

She couldn't see for sure but, there was the faint glow of golden light also coming from that area, so long as they were on top of whatever was happening, she could relax. Without Trunks around, there wasn't much left to worry about so, she pulled out her carton and popped a cigarette between her lips, sparking it as she watched the fireworks from afar.

"This thing is powerful," Gohan noted as he stared up at the creature charging its Ki energy, "But, that isn't the crazy part, I can sense my father, Krillin, Freeza, even Vegeta all at once… He really is made from us somehow," He tightened his mechanical fist at his side as he watched in wait for the organism to make its move. His battle instincts were on edge, he didn't care personally if he lived or died, all he cared about was protecting Kara who was tucked behind him.

Cell ceased his power output as he exhaled slowly, looking down on the two he only saw as snacks; he dematerialized from their scanners but, Gohan followed him effortlessly as he leveled with them in the air, wrapping his tail around Seventeen's waist.

Seventeen charged an energy blast as he squirmed, his strength wasn't enough to break free and the blast he fired into Cell's face didn't do any damage; Eighteen was too shocked to say anything but, quivered as she backed away a foot or two, "Get the hell off of me!"

"Excuse me," Gohan announced as all four artificial creations turned their attention to him at once, "I couldn't care less if you get rid of them both for me but, I have to ask, what happens when you do?"

Cell grabbed Seventeen's arm and crushed it in his grip as the cyborg shouted in pain, blood squirting from exposed wires, "I'm going to absorb them, their bio-mass will be added to my own and their cybernetics… integrated," he said the last part slowly, as if it was intimate somehow.

"And, after that?"

Sixteen analyzed the situation, his scanners couldn't even read the power levels coming off of Gohan and Cell now; he thought he was the strongest among them but, it soon became very apparent that he was no match for these titans.

Cell chuckled, "After that? There is no 'after that'! Once I'm perfect, there won't be anything in the Galaxy that can challenge me!" he tightened his grip on Seventeen's arm, "Earth will be dust beneath my heel," he shouted with a raspy cackle.

Gohan closed his eyes and sighed, "You had me…" vanishing in an instant; his aura exploded from behind them as none noticed his approach, chopping through Cell's tail with one hand, his Super Saiyan 2 form was more than strong enough to take this creature out, "Then you lost me."

"AGHH!" Cell shouted as he recoiled, floating away as, surprisingly the androids drifted to Gohan's side of the battlefield; Eighteen was side by side with Kara, too scared to get close to the monstrosity.

"If it makes any difference, I'm sorry I called you a bitch," Eighteen announced toward Kara who could barely see her but, raised a brow, "If we're about to die and all…" flipping her hair, she turned her attention back to the battle.

Seventeen held his bleeding arm, crushed and mangled, it was practically useless; Gohan put an arm out, the electricity of his golden aura stopping anyone from even thinking of stepping in, "I'll take care of this!"

Cell held the end of his tail in anger, "Do you know how long this is going to take to regenerate?"

Gohan raised a brow as he felt a familiar energy bubbling beneath the surface of his opponents power, his old sensei's power, as the tail sprouted out of its severed end just like the Namekian's could; "It wont prevent me from absorbing the Cyborgs but, if its any consolation…" Cell's voice deepened as his scowl became incredibly serious as did his power, "That hurt like hell."

Gohan rushed in without a word, elbowing Cell in the neck and slamming him up against the mountainside, "Ha!" He shouted as his aura exploded, strengthening his muscles to keep his opponent pinned. It was easier said than done as Gohan was forced to turn as the sharp end of Cell's tail aimed for the back of his head.

Avoiding the attack, Gohan immediately caught Cell back in his sights and fired a beam of Ki from his artificial arm directly into the chest of the creature, the explosion sent a plume of smoke up around them both but, this creature was completely organic so he could still feel his presence. A single purple beam flew from the smoke as Cell pointed his finger, blasting away at his opponent who he could also sense. Gohan backhanded one of the death-beams to the side as it flew over the ocean water, it managed to randomly connect with a small island nearly two-hundred miles off the coast causing a massive explosion to go off behind them.

"That was Freeza's move just now," Gohan thought to himself as the night sky was suddenly brightly illuminated by the flash of light which died down a moment later forming a thick mushroom cloud that was visible behind them; Eighteen, Sixteen, and Supergirl turned to look once the shockwave shook the entire surrounding area with large thundering cracks forming on the ocean floor, the tides became more wild and uncontrollable.

Cell scanned his group of opponents, he'd waited precisely for this moment to appear as he knew with the androids weakened and Gohan nearly exhausted, he'd be able to fly down and absorb both Seventeen and Eighteen in one fowl swoop. He wasn't, however, expecting such a transformation to emerge from Gohan and when he the fight looked like he'd finally kill all three of them… he needed to protect his own prey.

"Gohan, always the clever one, tell me," Cell placed two of his fingers on his forehead, directly over his eyes, as yellow sparking Ki energy funneled in from his forearms focusing into the tips of his fingernails. "Do you recognize this technique?"

The ascended Super Saiyan scowled knowing full well he was using the signature technique of his dead master; Piccolo first developed the move to kill Goku but, ironically it was used to save the Earth from Gohan's evil uncle.

"I'm guessing it looks something like this…" Gohan responded by charging energy into his fingers as he placed them on his forehead without flinching, suddenly cackling with energy; he taught himself a multitude of techniques over the years but, this one was special to him.

"Special Beam Cannon!" they shouted simultaneously as both beams unleashed had spiraling energy swirling around them clashing with intense piercing power, only Gohan's was slowly overpowering his opponent's beam who held his wrist with his free arm struggling. The Saiyan on the other hand was effortlessly keeping up, pushing only a bit more power into his attack with a single glare which consumed Cell's blast and shot right through his abdomen. The beam even carved into the mountain, tunneling for who knows how many miles before dispersing as Cell held his arms over the gaping hole in his chest, "Gah…" the same green substance that seemed to be his blood, seeped from his beak as well.

Kara's vision had mostly recovered in the few minutes that she was able to float idly, while she couldn't see everything and certainly couldn't fight yet; she still saw her blurred surroundings which included the creature's lethal injury.

"Do it now! Kill it while its injured!" Supergirl shouted but, Gohan put a hand up gesturing for her to quiet down, the raw power they were experiencing now made them all a tad more docile.

"No, let him regenerate…" Gohan announced as his serious scowl turned into a short smile, watching as Cell flexed his muscles, filling in the muscle tissue, bone marrow, and blood that was lost from the middle of his body in seconds.

Seventeen chuckled, "You're kidding me? After everything that's happened tonight, you're having fun?"

Gohan didn't take his eyes off of Cell who wiped his beak of green blood before spitting out a bit of it, "What can I say? It's the first fight that I know I can win in twenty years, I'm a bit excited, really," it was in his DNA, his hair stood on its ends and chills ran up and down his spine, facing off against someone with comparable power was enticing.

Using this momentary advantage, Cell threw both hands up in front of his eyes and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Solar Flare!" catching everyone off guard, even Sixteen's scanners were blinded by the intense source of light blinding them, only making Kara's condition worse and allowing Cell to slip passed Gohan finally as his tail opened up unbelievably.

The light died down and Seventeen was already half-way through being absorbed, it was quite disgusting to watch as he was slowly processed through the tail; Eighteen backed away in horror as did Kara, Gohan shifted his position to face them now that he'd claimed his first victim.

Sixteen leaped out at Cell and gripped his tail, trying desperately to tear it off before the absorption was completed, however; he was backhanded in the head promptly and with more power than he expected. The attack blew a hole in his head and sent him tumbling down into the ocean water below, "Sixteen!" the final android shouted, watching the only person left in the world she could relate to plummet thousands of feet into the water.

Cell groaned as he flexed his energy, sending out shockwaves as the lining of his insectoid-body flashed white energy; Gohan put an arm out as Eighteen and Supergirl backed up with him, the transformation altered his physical appearance drastically. His skin color and texture were the same, however; his face had become more humanoid including lips and a nose, he was over a foot taller than he was prior, and his muscles were much thicker with orange plating lining his body.

As he let out a satisfying groan, stretching his fingers and arms as he adjusted to his new body; white electricity still shrouded him in mind boggling energy, he casually floated down to land on the nearby cliffs.

Gohan was shocked by the levels of power he was sensing; the proportions were enormous and almost inconceivable, and this wasn't even his 'Perfect Form'? He charged a powerful aura, trying desperately to match him, consuming his body with lightning once again as his body was cascaded in golden flames. Without hesitating, the Saiyan blasted off leaving Kara and Eighteen behind floating a few hundred feet from new battlefield.

"I'm ending this!" Gohan landed the first strike to Cell's cheek, knocking him through a dozen thick trees but, he braced himself and used his heels and hands to stop his momentum. Now on his hands and knees, he chuckled and opened his mouth where a bright light emerged. Suddenly, from his gaping mouth unleashed a Ki blast that tore a massive trench in landscape as it approached the cliffside where Gohan stood.

He charged a layer of Ki into his mechanical arm as it hummed neon blue from within, he prepared to deflect the blast as it made contact with him but, he wasn't prepared for it to detonate in his face in a massive crimson explosion. Gohan tore his Gi off as smoke drifted from his chest and shoulders, his breathing had become heavy and he was slowing down while it seemed Cell had only just begun.

"You want to get rid of Eighteen, don't you?" Cell announced as he got on his two legs and walked forward nonchalantly, strolling towards him, "Let's make a deal."

Gohan huffed, "What kind of deal?" both Supergirl and Eighteen were behind both within earshot of them both as Cell emerged from the now torn down forestry.

"Let me absorb Cyborg Eighteen and become Perfect; if you do that, I'll leave planet Earth, hell, your whole Solar System in peace," Cell's pitch was a tad tempting but, suddenly realizing that if he was to obtain such power that a mere solar system is of not concern, than giving him that power doesn't guarantee he'll keep his word.

"How do I know you won't just destroy everything the second you get the chance?"

Cell stepped forwards with his hand out, "We'll shake on it, you have my word that I have no interest in Earth and will never return to it," Gohan heard this and felt his power draining by the second, every moment he stayed in this form he was draining energy.

Looking down at his extended hand, the human in him would have agreed but, the Saiyan blood coursing through his veins refused, "No deal," he dipped below Cell's extended hand and uppercutted his abdomen, followed by a concentrated blast of Ki energy that sent him back on the defensive.

"You're making a big mistake!"

Gohan didn't respond, "Ka… Me… Ha… Me…" focusing the full might of his new found power into the palm of his hands, a blue spherical orb of energy grew between his fingertips, shrouding them in light as Cell dashed forward in a desperate attempt to get passed him.

"Ha!" the famed wave of pure wind-energy consumed Cell as he attempted to reach through it, Gohan closed his eyes and pumped even more power through his body as the gauges on his prosthetic neared critical mass. It was just enough to knock Cell off his feet, following the energy wave's current through the mountains as an even bigger explosion erupted from miles away.

That was it, Gohan's aura vanished and his hair returned to its normal shade as he collapsed to one knee, breathing heavily as he fell back Supergirl wasn't far behind to catch him, "W-What should we do?"

"W-We cant go back to the base with… her," Gohan noted as he fell another peg down to his rear, leaning back on his hands as he slowly felt exhaustion take over, "We cant let her… out of our sight or he'll… find her, so it's us three against him… for now."

"We're supposed to work together?" Eighteen and Kara said almost simultaneously.

"If you don't… you have to run… now…" Gohan's eyes fell shut as he collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious; Supergirl held his head in her lap as she used her enhanced vision to see that Cell was just now recovering from the resulting explosion.

Kara turned to Eighteen, still shaken by the last fifteen minutes, losing both Sixteen and her brother at the same time was something any human would have trouble with but, she wasn't human so… why did she feel like this? She didn't know she could develop emotions; she didn't know she could feel vulnerable, she didn't know she could feel… human. Such a flurry of reprogramming for decades to kill and murder, another several decades following that programming and now she was without purpose and comrades. She was scared.

"Are you going to help us or run away, you pick one now or I'll try for killing you myself," Supergirl stood up, leaning Gohan's head down lightly as she faced the cybernetic killer, what she wasn't expecting were tears.

Eighteen didn't just let tears fall from her eyes, she wept almost collapsing into Kara's shoulder, "I… I…" she didn't know what to say, "I'm so sorry…"

"You're… what?"

Another explosion went off miles away as Cell emerged and located his targets, "We're definitely talking about… that… later, for now let's go," Kara threw Gohan over her shoulder and flew off breaking the sonic barrier so quickly their wasn't even a shockwave, both Eighteen and Supergirl made their way across the hemisphere to get as far away from Cell as possible, leading him away from the human camps nearby the battle.

Eighteen folded her arms after almost an hour of flying, "What do we do now? Where do we go?"

Kara being an alien from another planet that exists in another Universe had absolutely no idea how to traverse this planet without Gohan, once again finding herself useless without him; she couldn't contact Bulma and her boyfriend needed medical treatment.

To get medical treatment they need to go to one of the very few doctors, and simultaneously not let Eighteen out of her sight which would prove difficult when she's literally the eradicator of seventy percent of life on Earth but, something told Kara that there was more to her story than what it seemed.

This was actually one long chapter that I split into three, this is it for now. Lol.
