Well everyone, this is the final chapter for CinderYuu. But rejoice, there will be sequels with this story. To any that know Disney's Cinderella, then you know exactly what will be coming your way soon. For now enjoy the ending of CinderYuu as Dreams Become True are in the makings.

Chapter 11

Love

After taking a short moment, Mika looks Mahiru straight in the eye and tells her his decision. "My lady, you may threaten me all you want, but I will never choose Shinoa over Yuu. I love him with all my heart and I'll never betray him, nothing will ever make me betray him."

At his confession, Yuu felt overly happy, Shinoa touched, and Mahiru furious that the prince would still choose a pathetic lowlife. Just as she is going to slice his neck and Mika is about to grab at her wrists, the double doors swing open as a voice rings out in anger, "Mahiru!"

Turning to the open doors, the four gasp in surprise to see a much older woman standing there, her lavender hair very short, her rose-colored eyes full of anger towards her oldest daughter, Narumi and Kouta standing right behind the woman. Realizing who it is, Shinoa says rather happily, "Mom!" while Yuu said "Lady Lorraine!" at the exact same time, causing Kimizuki, Yoichi and the girls to hurry into the lobby to see their mistress is home.

Her glare still set on Mahiru, Lorraine demands in a low voice, "Mahiru, release Yuichiro at once."

Fear taking over her, Mahiru obeys and lets go of Yuu, who at once runs into the safety of Mika's arms while Shinoa took this chance to get away from her insane sister and to her mother's protection. Now that her youngest daughter and stepson are safe, Lorraine gives Mahiru a very deadly glare. "Makoto informed me what you've been doing whenever I am gone and I am not pleased with how you've acted and treated everyone in this house all for your selfish reasons."

"But mother," Mahiru tries to defend herself, "I only did this with Shinoa's best interest at heart."

Then Shinoa shakes her head. "Mahiru, stop kidding yourself. I should have told you this sooner but I don't want to marry the prince for his crown like many others in the kingdom would. I don't want to take away what has made Yuu very happy after all of these years of hardships you've put him through. As for me, I only want to marry someone I love."

To hear that her stepson has found his own happiness and that her daughter has decided to find her own love, Lorraine glances over to him to see the way Yuu is being held protectively and lovingly in Mika's arms. A smile then forms on her face as her expression softens a bit at their love and happy to hear that Shinoa is doing the right thing, not listen to her sister and not make Mika fall for her like Mahiru wants.

Ignoring her trembling daughter for the moment, Lorraine faces Mika and Yuu with a gentle smile. "Yuu, I am beyond glad that your dreams for happiness have come true. You have your own happy ending." This had caused light blushes to form on their cheeks as the two teens look each other in the eye, then the blush fades as they smile and Mika holds Yuu tenderly.

Lorraine then grabs Mika's attention. "My prince, thank you for being Yuu's light in the darkness that Mahiru had caused." Mika simply nods. "So have you two have that special moment?"

"Yes."

"So you've proposed already?" Lorraine gives the pair a teasing grin.

This had left Yuu completely surprised. "When did you propose?"

Then Mika gives him a sneaky grin. "Yesterday morning, when I gave you the ring." His hand going into his pocket, the prince takes the ring out that Mahiru had given back to him, believing that Yuu stole it. "Mahiru told me that she thought you had stolen this ring. But now it's time to put it where it belongs."

To hear what Mahiru had thought as Mika gently holds Yuu's left hand this time, Lorraine glares back at her. "We need to have a talk, young lady."

At those words, Mahiru lowers her head, fully aware that she is in more trouble than she ever was since her childhood.

Yuu's eyes widen as Mika slides the ring onto his wedding finger instead on his right hand. Still holding his left hand, Mika locks his gaze onto his emerald pair and says softly, "Yuichiro Amane, ever since we first met after hearing so much about you from my mother, I knew that you were different from many. You've shown that no matter hard things are or how dark and hopeless it seems, you remained strong, you fought for a way to make your dreams a reality.

"You never gave up, you had inspired your friends to never give in to Mahiru's cruel actions like you have. I may not have been around to see it, but after meeting her at the masquerade ball last night, I learned what she is capable to do in order to get her way." To hear the prince say these words, Yuu and everyone else in the main hall are completely moved.

"Watching you stay strong made me realize that you can give this strength to others that need it in their own hardships. I want to make that possible if you are by my side, ruling the kingdom along with me. Yuu, I want to be with you and share my life with you."

Then, holding Yuu's hand in both of his own, Mika kneels on one knee, his eyes still on the raven, "Yuichiro, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

To hear the official proposal, tears of happiness form in his eyes as Yuu then holds Mika's hands and answers with a smile, "Yes, I'll do this honor."

Overly happy that he has accepted his proposal, in very quick speed, Mika stands back up and scoops him in his arms, the two laughing and everyone else cheering, even Mahiru had looked up to see how happy everyone is. Setting Yuu back down, Mika says in excitement, "We should return to the palace to inform my father."

"Of course." Before leaving, they turn to Lorraine and the others. "Invitations will be released sooner than you all think."

"Don't you worry, Yuu hon. We'll be there." Lorraine promises with a nod of understanding.

"As if we would miss your special day." Kimizuki gives the raven a wink with Yoichi and Kouta giving the pair two thumbs up.

Smiles growing, Mika and Yuu hurry out of the chateau, mount Krul and Asuramaru, and the two were off to the palace. Once there, the two are just full of excitement that they didn't stop their steeds, leaping right off the saddles and hurrying to his father's office, the prince calling out in delight, "Father!"

Arriving at his office, the king had looked up from his work when he had heard his call for him to see his son and a raven boy beside him, smiles on their faces but panting from the running. "Mikaela, what is the meaning of this?" the king asks with a light chuckle.

Catching his breath, Mika takes Yuu's hand and the pair enter the office. "Father, there is someone I want you to meet."

His eyes set on Yuu, Sirius studies him closely, indeed finding resemblances of Frnos and Angelique. "So you're Yuichiro Amane?"

Yuu bows to his king. "Yes, your majesty."

"I've heard so much about you back when your parents were still alive and from my son. I must say that I am delighted that you, the son of my wife's closest friend, has won my son. I am certainly looking forward to you becoming a member of this family."

To hear that must mean that he already knows that they are engaged now. "Father, how did you already know?"

"Guren has been watching and he's informed me of what had happened at the chateau. I'm sorry to hear that your own family has put you through a living hell."

"It's alright, sire. That time is now over now that a new life is about to begin for me."

Sirius smiles at that. "Well said. Shall we get this wedding underway?"

"Yes." both say at the exact same time. With that, Sirius dismisses the two after summoning a few castle servants to get them ready for their wedding while he worked with Guren to create the invitations.

Within the next few hours, the ceremony takes place at the church. After the invites have been sent out, almost instantly the entire kingdom had come to attend the wedding, Lorraine, Shinoa, Kouta, Yoichi, Kimizuki, Mirai, Tomoe, and Narumi, his family, being the first guests to arrive. Mahiru had wanted to attend, but she had decided it's best if she didn't now that her mother has made her into a scullery maid, making her do all of the hard work she's made Yuu do over the last years since his father's death.

Once the ceremony is over, the newly wed couple make their way to the royal carriage, with Asuramaru and Krul at the lead.

Have faith in dreams

And someday

Now seated in the carriage, the coachman snaps the reigns and as the carriage leaves for the honeymoon, all that had attended the wedding throw rice, wave flags, give Yuu and Mika their congratulations with the pair waving everyone goodbye.

Your rainbow

will come smiling through

After waving to Sayuri who had made a sudden appearance among the audience as she waves back to him, Yuu glaces into Mika's eyes, smiles growing now that they have a very bright future ahead of them.

As the carriage disappears, Yuu and Mika are seen drawing close to each other and finally share their first kiss, their hearts leaping with joy at the kiss.
