Marinette walked silently down the street, looking at a magazine. She was so intrigued with what she was looking at, that she didn't hear Chat Noir yell, "Princess, look out!"
The next thing she knew, she was on the ground, her head feeling like it had been hit with a brick. She groaned, and started to black out. The last thing she saw, was Chat Noir standing over her, raw panic in his eyes.
She woke up in a soft, warm piece of furniture. She knew it wasn't a bed, because once she looked around, she saw a bed that looked like it was attached to the wall.
"Marinette?"
Marinette turned at the sound of her name, staring at the boy sitting next to her. He had blond hair, and emerald green eyes. He was wearing a black shirt, and a white, short sleeved jacket. He had navy blue skinny jeans, and orange sneakers. She had to admit, he was kind of cute.
"Marinette, are you okay?" the boy asked.
"I'm sorry..." she said, looking extremely confused. "Do I know you?"
He stared at her in shock. "You... you don't remember me?"
"Am I supposed to?" Marinette asked, panicking slightly. Was she going crazy?
"We're friends."
"That's a yes." Marinette groaned.
He immediately looked anxious. "What's wrong? Are you in pain?"
She gave him a questioning look. "Why would I be in pain?"
"You got hit in the head when I- I mean, Chat Noir accidentally dropped something..." he replied, rubbing the back of his head nervously while giving her a sheepish smile.
"Chat Noir..." she murmured. "That sounds... familiar..."
He smiled. "You remember a name. That's good!"
"Speaking of names, what's yours?" Marinette asked.
He grinned. "I'm Adrien."
Adrien. Adrien. Adrien.Something told her that his name should mean something, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She looked around again, suddenly noticing all of the pictures that were covering that walls.
"Where are we?" she asked, giving him a smirk. "Your girlfriend's room?"
He chuckled. "No, this is your room."
Marinette looked around again, shaking her head. "I must really like you..."
He sighed. "Yeah... you did."
She looked at him questioningly. "Were we...?"
Adrien's eyes widened in alarm. "N-no! We were just friends!"
She nodded. "Y-yeah... okay..."
He fidgeted with his thumbs nervously, staring at his hands. "So... is there anything that you remember?"
Marinette thought. Her thoughts went back to Chat Noir. "I remember Chat Noir making a lot of dumb cat puns... and... there was this nickname he had for me... he eould always call me 'M'Lady'."
Adrien's head shot up, and he stared at her in shock. "What?"
Hi there! Thank you for reading this, and hopefully not barfing because of how bad it is. I am currently having writer's block for my two other fanfics, "Don't Leave Me" and "Miraculously in Love". If you have any ideas for it, then please tell me! I am extremely desperate! Also, as you can see, I'm not dead. I know I haven't been uploading, and writer's block isn't the only reason. I accidentally locked myself out of my account for a while, so I had to fix that. But I am back now! Please keep reading! I swear that my writing will get better!
