~ Chapter Thirteen: I came here so you'd come for me ~

The "not-so-much" abandoned mansion, Mystic Falls. Night.

Leon Lorell's exhibition party was in full swing. All members from the Founder's council were present with their respective partners. Some of them with their teenage children. All were wearing fake smiles, soaking up the world of the rich. Each of them attempting to make small talks with the infamous Leon Lorell about the unique artifacts on display, while gossiping about the latest affairs of others within the room.

Meanwhile, Sora Nakamura hid away upstairs in his room, staring outside. Suited up, he opened the glass doors and stepped out to the balcony to stare at the incoming guests, getting dropped off. Sora winced from the sudden burning sensation from his left wrist. Pulling back the sleeve of his black blazer and white shirt, he sees his yin-yang tattoo glowing brighter than ever, causing Sora to smile in realization.

She was here.

Pulling the sleeves back down, he looked up in time to see a black jeep drive through the entrance gate, driving towards the entrance of the house. The vehicle parked near the steps leading inside the estate; it was the perfect view below him. A tall, dark raven-haired man opens the passenger seat door and out stepped the beautiful girl of his dreams. Looking down, Sora finally sees her. The girl he has been dreaming of for the past year.

His dark brown eyes widened at the sight of her.

"Beautiful," he whispered in Japanese.

Damon smirked at the sight of Bonnie Bennett the moment she stepped out of the jeep his eyes travel from head to toe of Bonnie dressed in a knee-length fitted strapless ivory dress with red pumps. Her hair in waves and her make-up was so alluring that Damon couldn't stop staring at those bright red lips of Bonnie.

Bonnie adjusted the thin strap of her black laced clutch bag. Damon opened his mouth about to speak but stopped when Bonnie held up her hand to silence him. She turned to Marcus who was seated at the driver's seat

"Earpiece okay?" asked Marcus

Bonnie nodded, fixing her hair to cover her ears. "Yep. I can hear Robbie and Michael arguing"

Marcus chuckled his eyes subtly, looking at the big house then back to Bonnie, stating seriously to her, "Be careful in there."

"Don't worry, Marcus; you guys have my back like always."

Marcus looked to Damon with a stern look and said: "Don't screw this up."

Damon rolled his eyes and dismissed the young teen with a wave of his hand. Marcus shook his head unimpressed at Damon's action and drove off, leaving the two alone. He parked his jeep at a nearby park not far from the house behind a black delivery van, where Michael and Robbie were.

"Ready my lady," Damon says, holding out an arm towards her, but Bonnie detected the playfulness in his tone.

Bonnie turned to get a perfect view of what Damon was wearing. Damon was wearing what she would assume [if listening to Alexis rattling off about fashion helped her] the latest Armani one-button suit. And as God is her witness, she had to admit that the suit was made to fit only Damon Salvatore perfectly.

Mentally pushing aside her observant thoughts, she slipped her arm through his, stating, "Don't enjoy this fake date too much."

Damon bent his head down a little "I think you should take that advice," he says lowly enough for her to hear.

Bonnie let out a small breath she hadn't realized she was holding in from the closeness of Damon to her.

Bonnie pulled in enough confidence to reply, "Trust me, Damon, you couldn't handle being with me."

A growl left Damon's lips from what he felt was an insult as she continued speaking, "Now, now don't go chucking a tantrum; we have important things to worry about than your bruised ego. We got work to do so put on that charming smile of yours that you fake to everyone while I try to figure out where the map is"

Once she finished her sentence, she winced from the sudden burning feeling. Bonnie quickly unlinked her left arm from Damon's and placed her hand at the place of her tattoo.

"What's wrong?" Damon asked his attitude immediately, shifting to concern.

Ignoring his question, Bonnie followed her instinct and looked up. Her breathing quickened as her eyes narrowed in curiosity, hoping it wasn't her imagination of now seeing the back of somebody walking away from the balcony located diagonally above her back into their room.

"He's here," she whispered, feeling a little breathless of the idea that the mysterious boy could be here.

"Who's here?" asked both Damon and Michael

Wincing from the surprise of Michael's voice in her ear, she just shook her head, replying to answer both Michael and Damon.

"Sora."

Sora clenched and unclenched his fists in anticipation of finally seeing her. Pacing his walk from not breaking out into a run down the stairs to catch a glimpse of her, he pulled out his cell phone from inside his jacket, sending a text to Leon of his dream girl's arrival. Still, with a smile on his face, he placed his phone back in a blazer pocket and headed downstairs, ready to catch sight of her.

Leon refrained from chuckling at Sora's message about his mysterious lady ready to enter the mansion. Tucking his phone back into his jacket, he looked up in time to see a beautiful dark-skinned woman walk up the stairs and enter through the entrance of the house. Her arm linked with a dashingly good-looking man.

His eyes traveled back to the woman and made his way towards the duo welcoming them,

"Welcome to my exhibition. I'm Leon Lorell," he said, holding out his hand towards the suited gentleman.

Damon smirked, placing his hand in Leon's and shook it, stating his name "Damon Salvatore."

"Salvatore-" paused Leon taking back his hand and then smiled in realization "-Salvatore as in one of Mystic Falls founding families."

"Yep, the one and only," Damon says sarcastically.

Leon chuckled to Damon's tone and looked to the beauty beside Damon. Leon reached out for the girl's free hand, placing a chaste kiss against his knuckles, "And who is this beauty?"

"Bonnie. Bonnie Bennett," she said, smiling slightly to the man's reaction upon hearing her last name.

Leon knew Bonnie caught his shock reaction upon hearing her family name. Now it made sense as to why Sora was dreaming about her. In Leon's line of work, he has heard about the reputation of the Bennett family and the assassin coven but has never once crossed paths with them.

Leon let go of her hand as his eyes took another once overlook, stating, "I'm surprised Gabriel and Rosario are not here. I would have loved to have met the infamous Bennett duo."

Bonnie smiled a fake smile, not at all buying Leon's line, "Maybe we may cross paths again, and you may meet them."

Leon smirked at young witch's comeback nodding. "I believe we will be crossing paths again, Miss. Bennett."

Damon's eyes narrowed at Leon's words questioning the man, "What is that supposed to mean?"

Bonnie winced a little from the sudden shouting of Michael's voice in her ear. "Yeah! What's that supposed to mean?!"

Leon smirked at Damon "None of your concern Salvatore but please enjoy the show" he ignored of anger that flashed across Damon's face turning his attention back to Bonnie

"Until next time," he said

Bonnie nodded, tightening her hold around Damon's arm as best as she could to stop Damon from attacking Leon.

"Yeah, until next time," she said lowly, but Leon heard her as he motioned with his hand towards the showing room.

Once in the showing room out of earshot of Leon Lorell, Bonnie unlinked her arm from Damon and stood in front of him, catching him by surprise by her next action of fixing his black tie as she retorted, but loud enough for only Damon to hear.

"Dammit, Michael, I don't want to go deaf by the end of this mission. You know what Leon means, too, with me knowing Sora."

Damon frowned in confusion as Bonnie looked up to him, looking pleased as if she fixed the tie that didn't need fixing. She placed her hand upon his chest, looking at him in a way that an outside party would believe they were more than friends with the close contact between the two.

"Sorry, Bon. I don't trust that Leon guy, I have a bad feeling that you being there might have made you an easy target" said Michael followed by Robbie explaining

"But of course we knew that so we are prepared. Now you need to be careful according to our screens. It reads that there's someone else upstairs in that house."

"Hmmm," hummed Bonnie as her hands moved up to circle Damon's neck, who was not complaining about the way Bonnie was, and of course, to help keep up with this act, he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Bonnie raised an eyebrow at Damon, who said with a smirk, "Just keeping up with the act."

Bonnie didn't believe him but motioned with her eyes to the Pandora eighteen carat white gold bracelet on her right wrist.

Damon raised an eyebrow as she explained, "The microphone for me to speak clearly to the boys is installed in this bracelet."

"Fancy," commented Damon.

"I know-" she replies playfully.

She turned her head a little to eye the crowd in the room, spotting Leon across the room.

Turning her attention back to Damon, she said casually for the mouthpiece to pick up her word, "Can't be Leon since he is at the moment talking to Mrs. Lockwood."

"Maybe it is Sora," Adara says in her mind.

"Why do I feel nervous?" Bonnie thinks back.

"He's your Kindred. Always been in your dreams these past months. It's normal to feel nervous."

"Maybe"

"Maybe"

"If it is Sora that I saw. That means we are getting closer to the Immortal stone."

"Bonnie?" Damon says, lowly shaking her connection with Adara.

Bonnie looks up to him, detecting a worried look. Bonnie can't help but smile at Damon.

"Does he even know how worried he looks?" Bonnie wonders

"Sorry," she says in the best assuring tone, "Are you sure it's not a bodyguard upstairs?" Bonnie asked, unwrapping her hand around his neck.

Damon unwraps his arm around Bonnie's waist and holds back his surprise when Bonnie grabs his hand. She leads him through the crowd. He catches sights of Carol Lockwood and Elizabeth Forbes, looking at them in a shock of their appearance together. Bonnie seemed to have missed it as she moves him to stand beside her in front of small sculpture in a glass case. Both were pretending to admire it.

The boys were silent for a while before Robbie responded to her, "Positive Bonnie. He seems to be in some room, possibly an office holding onto some object, looks like a cylinder of some type-" he paused to concentrate of the mysterious figure upstairs locking the said cylinder container behind a portrait.

Marcus was now heard in Bonnie's ear "Bon, this is no bodyguard. If our guess is correct, the map we're looking for is upstairs in an office. It's in a safe that's hidden behind a portrait."

"Lame ass hiding 101" finished off Michael.

Bonnie chuckled at Michael's snide comment, "Either it is a stupid hiding place, or they are luring me there."

She turns to look at Damon and tells of the plan [with the boys listening] "We will mingle for a while at least do your duty as a council member and say your greetings, and we'll admire the artifacts on display then I'll slip away looking for the office."

Damon nodded, "Hmmm, but change that around because I'm coming with you."

"Damon," she said warningly, but it seemed not to affect him as he said

"You're going to need me to compel someone if you get caught."

Bonnie bit her lip; she didn't need him to know how she can compel vampires and now humans. She just smirked at him "This isn't my first time Damon."

"I beg to differ," he retorted back to the witch.

Bonnie scoffed at his answer and turned to walk away.

Damon grabs her wrist, "Wait," he says.

Bonnie stops and looks unimpressed at Damon's hold around her wrist.

"Please," Damon says as he lets go of Bonnie's wrist and waits for her to approach him.

Bonnie turns to face him, awaiting his answer.

"We're in a stranger's house. Walking into what we think it's a trap; I know you can handle this, but I need-" he couldn't finish the sentence. It was too soon to feel this need to protect her and not out of duty.

"I need to follow you along with your plan; at least your family won't kill me if something happens to you, and I wasn't there to protect you."

"I can protect myself," Bonnie says stubbornly.

"I know that I just-" Bonnie places a hand on his chest, stopping him.

"Just follow my lead."

Damon sighs, thankful he didn't have to continue talking about his feelings.

"Can we continue this mission?" Bonnie hears Michael ask sarcastically in her ear.

Marcus tsked before commenting, "You two are the most complicated partners to put in a mission. I think Robbie and I's plan will fail right now with you two's bickering! Seriously how in the hell did you two work together in the past? Never again putting you two together."

Bonnie chuckled before smirking at Damon. He spotted mischief in Bonnie's eyes, "Michael and Marcus believe we make a horrible team," she says.

"Really?' he faked offense

"Shall we prove them wrong?" she asked with a raise of one eyebrow for the challenge.

"I'm up for the challenge," he said, now turning Bonnie to face the room as they spotted Leon talking to Carol Lockwood.

"Bonnie, that figure is making their way downstairs," said Marcus.

Damon and Bonnie stopped in front of an artifact pretending to admire it as Bonnie said loud enough for Damon to hear, "Marcus said the person that was upstairs is now coming downstairs."

The duo turned around as Bonnie gasped at finally seeing him. Damon's eyes narrowed at the sight of the suited Japanese boy walking down the stairs. The said boy kept his intense gaze on Bonnie, almost as if looking at her for the first time. Damon looked down at Bonnie, seeing her too entranced at the sight of this new boy.

He touched her elbow to get her attention, "Do you know him?" he asked

"That's Sor-" Bonnie was cut off mid-sentence from the sound of someone clinking against their glass to get everyone in the room's attention.

Damon and Bonnie turned around again to see Leon, in the middle of the room with a glass of champagne in his hand

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen…"

Bonnie tuned out Leon's speech turning her head a little to catch a glimpse of the guy again, but he was no longer there. Turning entirely around with Damon following the motion, he too looked around the room for the new guest. He was no longer in sight; it was like he just vanished in thin air

"Oh shit!" screamed Michael, Marcus, and Robbie caused Bonnie to wince from the sudden yelling in her ear.

"My ear dammit!" said Bonnie as lowly and sternly she could.

"Sorry, Miss. Bennett" apologized Robbie immediately and explained

"Whoever just went downstairs just simply vanished from our screen when Leon was speaking and then appeared in that same room where the mysterious object was hidden."

Bonnie wanted to go ahead to sneak to the room, while Damon created a distraction, but she knew Damon would not be so compliant with that plan.

"It's Sora" is all Bonnie can think at this moment.

"We need to get to that room now, Damon, while everyone is distracted," Bonnie said to Damon as she noted everyone was listening intently to Leon, but the three bodyguards in the room were on high alert for anything suspicious.

Bonnie looked up to Damon, speaking for the boys in the van to hear, "Boys, we need a distraction for the bodyguards."

Robbie smirked from Bonnie's request looking to Michael stating "I'm going to need that seat,"

Michael stood up as the boys switched seats with Robbie. Robbie, now in the middle with Michael and Marcus on both sides of him, watched the young teen place his fingers on the keyboard in front of him quickly accessing the security system of Lorell's estate.

"Since it was so easy to access the security camera set up in the house...his alarm system-" paused Robbie typing the last few keys and smirked when a notice blinked notifying him of successful access into the security system

"-should be a little easier to access. Although I should say, I'm a bit unimpressed that Leon's security system's firewall is so easy to break through," finished Robbie.

Marcus and Michael looked to each and nodded knowingly of what they were both thinking as Marcus said

"Bonnie, be careful."

"It's Sora. It's safe." Bonnie's voice echo within the van

"Okay, Miss. Bennett, here comes the distraction. Lights off," Robbie says, pressing the enter button.

During Leon's speech, the lights in the house turn off, causing everyone to gasp and begin to panic in the darkness as the bodyguards rushed around in the dark to the lightbox in the kitchen. Seeing the chance now, Bonnie grabbed Damon's hands and made their way upstairs.

Once at the top of the stairs, she realized she was holding Damon's hand and quickly let it go not before catching Damon's smirk. Rolling her eyes, she spoke into the bracelet to lessen the chance of being caught "We are on the second floor."

Hearing Bonnie's confirmation, Robbie's fingers typed crazily on the keyboard before pressing enter "Lights on."

The lights in the house were automatically switched on, causing a state of confusion amongst the bodyguards.

The three bodyguards left the kitchen to go to the display room. They noted that nothing was stolen from the room, and nobody seems to be hurt. Leon looked around the now slightly less panicked crowd and noted that Damon and Bonnie were no longer in the place which just caused the older man to smirk

"Well played," he thought and was cut out from his thoughts when one of the bodyguards spoke to him.

"Mr. Lorell, I apologize for what just happened. Everything seems to be alright, but we'll check the rest of the house to be sure."

Leon nodded, thinking that Bonnie and Damon will have to find a way not to be caught by his bodyguard.

"Yes, please do so," said Leon turning back to his audience and said, "It's okay everybody, please remain calm. It was a false alarm, now where was I…"

Public Library, Mystic Falls. Night

Alexis yawned at the words before her eyes. She sits back in her seat and stretches her neck to look up at the ceiling of the library.

"How do mom and Robbie enjoy all this research?" she thinks only to smile a little at the thought of her parents. Yes, Robbie and her go back home when they can on the weekend, but she has missed the routine of seeing her parents every day. Alexis chuckled, wondering if she's the first one to get homesick before Robbie.

"Alexis?"

Alexis lifts her head and looks to her left to see Jeremy Gilbert approaching her table.

"Hey, Jeremy," she says, sitting up, "What are you doing here?"

Jeremy holds up his notebook, "Got an art project."

"Will I have a chance to look at it?" Alexis asks.

He stutters, "They will be rough drawings."

Alexis raises her hands in defense, "It's okay. It's up to you if you want to show me," she says assuringly.

Dropping his book and bag, Jeremy takes a seat next to Alexis only to frown at the stack of books, "What are you up to?"

"Work for the coven."

"On the civil war?" he questions, looking at the titles.

Alexis nods, "I'm just going as far back as I can find of any mentions of vampires. Thought I would start with Salvatore times, then go back further and further until I get to the years of the Mikaelson family or even a mention of them. They must have returned to Mystic Falls at least once."

"You should check out the reference section," Jeremy stated, standing up.

Alexis raises an eyebrow, "Why?

Jeremy chuckled at her suspicious tone, "It has all information on Mystic Falls history. From original settlers, town archives, Founder's information. It's all there, but you could ask Damon or Stefan Salvatore your questions."

Alexis stands up, "Lead the way, Gilbert."

Jeremy couldn't help but smile at Alexis's sarcasm. Walking ahead, he freezes at the sight of Anna standing in front of him.

"Jeremy," Anna says with a smile, "Can you see me?" she asks only to sob out, "You can, can't you?"

Alexis moves to stand beside Jeremy, looking in his direction, "What do you see?" she asks, touching his arm, knowing that look.

Alexis's touch brings him back to reality, Jeremy looks to her then back up to see Anna no longer there.

"Nothing"

Alexis bites her bottom lip, hoping she isn't overstepping, "I am a witch, Jeremy, so it won't sound crazy if you saw something."

Jeremy shakes his head, downplaying his shock, "I'm not. I thought I saw someone I knew from class," he says his lie with a smile. Jeremy motions his head towards the reference section, "Let's go find what you need," he says and walks ahead.

Since Derek's betrayal, Alexis had become (some would say paranoid) more aware of how people lied. The only skill Alexis hadn't mastered is picking out the reasoning of their lies. Then again, she had to know the lie first. Jeremy and herself have only known each other for a couple of days, so, understandably, they would both hold back secrets about themselves despite knowing of each other's lives.

Alexis sighs and slow jogs towards him, "Wait up," she says loud enough for him to hear but not to disturb the environment of the library.

The "not-so-much" abandoned mansion, Mystic Falls. Night.

Walking down the long hallway caused a shiver down Bonnie's spine "Everything okay?" asked Damon weirded out from her sudden silence

"Yeah. I feel like I've seen this hallway before…" she said softly, walking further down slowly, wondering why this part of the house felt so familiar.

"It's the dream," Bonnie thinks.

"It is," Adara confirms.

Before the boys could alert Bonnie and Damon that a bodyguard was heading their way, Damon heard the footsteps before Bonnie and pulled her into the nearest room. Bonnie gasped in surprise as Damon had her pressed against the wall near the closed door. Minutes past and according to both Bonnie and Damon's acute hearing, they heard the said bodyguard walk past them again and back down the stairs back to the party.

Damon with one arm against the wall above her head and his other hand around her waist he held her body close to him

"Damon," she whispered, wetting her bottom lip out of nervousness of their proximity. Even with her calling his name, it didn't alert him to move and continue their mission of finding the map; instead, it just caused his hand brushes a strand of her curl behind her ear. Bonnie's breath hitched in her throat from Damon's action as his finger moved from her ear to outline her jaw, his face inching closer towards her. Bonnie dropped her eyes to Damon's lips inching towards her. Consciously she closed her eyes and waits for-

"YOU TWO BETTER NOT BE KISSING!" yelled Michael's voice in Bonnie's ear causing her to wince from the loudness of it while Damon growled annoyed at him for disturbing their moment

Bonnie quickly responded, "We're just hiding from the bodyguard. Umm, where's the room?"

"Oh, sorry on the screen; it looked like... yeah, so it's the next room on the right."

"Okay, thanks," said Bonnie, her eyes lowered to the ground from Damon's intense stare and bending her head a little to avoid hitting her head with his arm. Damon followed Bonnie out of the room.

"Hey," a voice calls to them, stopping them.

Damon and Bonnie turned around to be facing the missing mysterious guest from downstairs. Now seeing him up close, he looked to be about six feet tall, and he looked to be of Japanese descent and around Bonnie's age. He wore black shoes to match with his black pants, white collared shirt and a black tie finished with a black blazer to complete the attire. His dark brown eyes looking at Bonnie, his smile grows at the sight of the beautiful girl finally in front of him donned in a strapless ivory dress.

"Well, it's about time," the stranger says teasingly.

Damon looks over at Bonnie to see tears well up in her eyes. Bonnie can't help but chuckle and have the urge to cry tears of joy. He was here. All those months of Sora in her dreams, he was standing in front of her.

Through her tearful laugh, "Sora." she says.

Damon frowned again in annoyance from the way Bonnie has been saying his name these past days. It rubbed him the wrong way the kindness in her tone towards his name.

The stranger's eyes widened in surprise, "You know my name?" he smiles at Bonnie.

Bonnie nods.

"How? I don't even know yours," he says, stepping towards her.

Bonnie holds out her hand, "Bonnie Bennett," she says with a smile.

Sora gasped Bonnie's hand, "Sora Nakamura," he says, lifting Bonnie's hand to place a chaste kiss, both feeling the electrical feeling pass onto her hand from his lips.

They both hiss a little when they let go.

Bonnie moves her hair to sit on the right shoulder. Damon's eyes widen at the sight of Bonnie's tattoo beginning to glow, "Bon," he whispers, stepping towards her. Bonnie looks back at her tattoo then back to Sora, who smiles at her. He pulls back his left sleeves to reveal his now glowing yin-yang tattoo on his left wrist.

Bonnie chuckles, turning around. The glow now diminishes.

"I believe this was our connection," Sora says, looking at the yin-yang tattoo on Bonnie's left shoulder.

Bonnie bites her bottom lip, nodding.

"Bennett? As in the Elder coven?" Sora asks, surprised.

Bonnie turns around nodding, "As you are too"

Sora smiles a little in understanding, "Of course fate is reuniting the Nakamura coven to the Elders."

"So it seems," she says then asks, "Why is that?"

Sora shakes his head, "My grandfather will be best to ask. I haven't been told of the reasoning of our separation," he said, staring into Bonnie's green eyes. He stares at her in amazement, still in some disbelief she was real.

"You're here for the map to the Immoral stone?" Sora softly asks.

"Yeah," she says a little breathless from the way he was looking at her.

Bonnie snapped out of the moment when Damon places his hand on her back, "The both of us."

"Stay on guard, Bon," Michael says in her ear.

Bonnie holds back her response.

Sora held out his hand towards her "Do you trust me?"

Bonnie knew her coven, and everyone would not like her answer, but she couldn't explain this pull to him. Maybe it was the spell of the Kindred, but she trusted him in her dreams, and she trusted him at this moment. Bonnie nodded and wordlessly slipped her hand into his. Sora led her into the room they were supposed to go in. Damon followed close behind, holding back the urge to pull Bonnie away.

Public Library, Mystic Falls. Night

Jeremy lays his pencil down a little happier in the progress of his drawing. He looked to Alexis beside him and again couldn't help himself but smile at the sight of her in concentration mode.

Carefully flipping through articles and writing notes in her book.

"Beatrice Bennett," Alexis mutters only for her eyes to squint, "The Bennett family have always come back to Mystic Falls somehow," she concludes and turns the page.

Jeremy holds back another smile when he hears Alexis groan in annoyance when she finds more writing on the next page. The teen can't help but lean his head against his closed fist and watch Alexis.

"What? You've never seen me work this hard?" Alexis says, feeling Jeremy's stare.

Jeremy chuckles, "I mean the past couple of days in class with you has been you writing notes to me and making funny faces. You know you almost got me in trouble for laughing"

Alexis gasped mockingly, "No, I would never do such a thing. I'm responsible"

Jeremy smirked at her, "It is cool you get to do this."

She raised an eyebrow at him, "What? Look through old papers," she says, lifting the article in her hand.

Jeremy nodded, "That and the whole assassin coven life you have. From being a witch and helping other people with supernatural cases."

Alexis smiles a little at him and looks back down to her notes. Seeing her demeanor change worries Jeremy as he sits up, "Sorry, did I say something wrong?"

Alexis looks to Jeremy shaking her head, "No, you didn't. I get why my life would look cool to you but just being a teenager looks cool too"

Jeremy shrugs, "It gets a little boring."

Alexis chuckled, "It might, but I'll never experience it. My life has been about being a witch. Training my powers until I come of age to join the coven. From then it's training, research, keeping up with school. Robbie and I couldn't make friends with humans without exposing that we were witches. There's so much excuse you can feed them before they get tired of it. Your sister and Caroline might annoy me, but they're Bonnie's friends. They grew up together had the whole join cheer squad, shopping, going to the movies friendship. For me, Robbie and I were memorizing supernatural history, practicing our magic, learning how to kill, and constantly being told our lines are to protect the Chosen One."

"Bonnie"

Alexis nods, "Yeah. I wouldn't change my life, but it would be nice not to be talking about magic, Klaus, the coven, supernatural, or the Prophecy."

"Okay. Let's go," Jeremy said, packing up his stuff.

"What?"

Jeremy looks to her, "Do you trust me?"

"I barely know you."

Jeremy grins, waiting for another response.

Alexis rolls her eyes, "Fine. I only trust you right now."

"Good. Let me help you pack, and we'll have one night of normalcy."

"Jere, I can't I still-
"Please, you have pages of notes you can go through tomorrow. The library is always going to be here, holding those documents. Besides, the library will be closing in two hours."

Alexis exhales in surrender, "Alright. One night" she says, standing up to pack with Jeremy's help.

The "not-so-much" abandoned mansion, Mystic Falls. Night.

Sora led Bonnie into his office to the dark brown leather couch near the fireplace as they took a seat followed by Damon across from them on the dark brown single leather couch his eyes narrowing at the sight of Bonnie still holding onto Sora's hand

Bonnie took a deep breath in and out. She didn't know what she was feeling, but just holding onto Sora's hands made her feel safe, almost as if her hands were meant to be held by him. Some would assume that this feeling was romantic feelings, but it wasn't.

Sora laced his fingers through Bonnie's hand, causing her to gasp a little feeling her body heat up, but the hand Sora held felt warm.

"I'm your other half," he stated.

Bonnie's eyes bulged out, and on instinct, she pulled her hand away from Sora's grasp, but he held on with both of his hands.

"What do you mean, her other half?" Damon asked immediately.

Sora, still looking at Bonnie, explained, "The map of immortality has been in my family for many generations. I do not know where it originally came from, as our family line didn't spell the map. It's a special map too for not just any witch can decipher the map, but I was able to decipher a bit of the map from a young age, and that's when my grandfather knew."

"Knew what?" asked Bonnie as Damon intently listened

"He knew that the prophesied witch hybrid was going to be of my generation."

Bonnie let out a tired sigh of hearing again about her being the chosen one. Noting her discomfort, Sora ran his thumbs in a circular motion to soothe her, causing her to smile.

Sora further explained, "I don't know what he meant by that, but what I do know from what I've been told, is that to be able to read the whole map I need to join my powers with the prophesied witch hybrid."

Looking back, Sora, she said, making sure she understood the boy correctly, "So our powers together will allow us to read the map."

"Yes"

"Do you have any other powers. I mean, do you have any elemental powers?" wondered Bonnie thinking of Mayu Nakamura. From what she remembered Nakamura line was of water element.

Sora nodded. "Mayu Nakamura was the first witch of our line, and she was the first element user of water. This element has been constant of the Nakamura family, but I got word that the Bennett family has a fire element in not only their family but also water."

Bonnie nodded, "Yeah, my uncle and cousin's element power is water. How is that possible? All members of the Bennett family has the power of fire. So you can guess how surprised my dad was when he found his older brother manipulating water so easily," she chuckled lightly.

Sora chuckled along with Bonnie "I guess that will be something unsolved. Just write up your family's two-element dilemma as an unknown witches mystery."

Bonnie unsure accepted that reason for now before getting back to their main priority

"Where's the map?" she asked.

Sora clicked his fingers, causing a spark and a puff of gray smoke to leave his hand, revealing him holding a rolled-up scroll.

Bonnie smirked, stating, "Impressive."

Damon rolled his eyes, irritation prominent on his face at the scene unfolding in front of him with Bonnie moving closer to Sora as he unrolled the piece of paper. Sora told her to place one hand on one side of the scroll while he put his hand on the other end of it.

They all looked down at the blank scroll. Sora turned over his free hand near Bonnie's free hand, "Are you ready, my lady?"

Damon's eyes widened in annoyance hearing a girly giggle escape Bonnie's lips

'What the hell? Yeah, I say words like that she rolls her eyes!' Damon thinks angrily.

Pouting like a little child, Damon crossed his arms over his chest, leaning angrily back in his chair only to lean forward from the lights flickering and the flames in the fireplace blasting higher in its spot. He turned his eyes to Sora and Bonnie only to gulp scarcely, seeing both with their eyes wide opened Bonnie's eyes to be filled with white while Sora's eyes filled black, and their hands glowed over the map. Damon leaned forward in his seat to have a closer look at the map. His eyes were widening, staring at the center of the paper, darker lines tracing the outline of Mystic Falls, and then shone five different colored circles highlighting specific locations in Mystic Falls. Damon stared at the familiar places only to stop at the white ring that was quite close to them. If he was correct, this spot was not far from where Michael and the rest of Bonnie's gang were in that van.

Sora and Bonnie gasped, taking in a deep breath as their eyes returned to their typical colors. Bonnie smiled feeling Sora squeezed her hand in comfort as they both looked to each other and their smile widened at the sight of each other

"That was-" started Bonnie "-amazing' finished Sora

Letting go of their hands, they looked down to the completed map of Mystic Falls

"The five elements" whispered Bonnie in amazement of the colored shining circles each color indicating an element

Sora looked at the map in awe; his dark brown eyes widened in the realization of what the route was showing.

He looked to Bonnie, asking, "So this is about the immortal stone?"

Damon and Bonnie looked at Sora in surprise for different reasons.

"You know about the immortal stone?" she asked him.

Sora nodded, explaining, "I didn't know it was true; it was just a fairytale told to us when we were kids. It was about this vicious monster that lived for centuries with all the power in the world but had one weakness that could end him. No one knew this secret, but the monster couldn't take a chance of someone in the mystical land finding out what could kill him, so he decided to seek out the immortal stone. A stone that was created by two powerful witches that went against the balance of nature. They tapped into dark magic to create this object, but one knew the fault of creating this and used the elemental powers to split it into five pieces and scattered it across the mystical land-"

Damon cut off Sora's story with a roll his eyes "Is there an ending in this story? Because you seem to be taking forever to get there."

"Damon!" said Bonnie sharply then turned her attention back to Sora smiling apologetically at him even though she knew the whole truth to that story

"It's okay," mouthed Sora to her he turned his attention back to the map. His eyes staring hard at the paper zoning out and repeated the message of the story off by heart from the many nights of his childhood of hearing it from his mother.

"Not only was it the unknown secret that could end the monster, but it was also the immortal stone that could end him. A powerful young witch will be able to wield power from heaven and hell, for she will be the chosen one to resist temptation and finally destroy the monster and finally bring balance to the world."

Damon's eyes flickered to look at Bonnie, who continued to stare at Sora, but his ears picked up on her racing heartbeat and heavy breathing.

Sora looked to Bonnie. "That's why you're my Kindred. All those dreams, the tales, this map was to help you."

Bonnie felt tears well up from the story and the reality of it all. Everything that had been happening these past months, heck years of what her father was doing to protect her.

Nodding slowly, she chuckled sadly. "Yeah, so I've been told."

Sora grabbed her hand, their fingers interlacing hoping to bring some comfort to her, and surprisingly it did. As soon as Sora's hand wrapped around her, she felt a wave of calmness wash over her.

The sudden constriction of her emotions loosened, letting out a sigh of relief she heard him say, "I guess my destiny starts now."

"What destiny?!" asked Damon immediately getting bored and annoyed with this Japanese kid and at the scene unfolding between Bonnie and Sora

"The Nakamura family is trained just like you guys. Our coven is to protect the balance of the world and get rid of any supernatural being that may be a threat to it, but also trained to protect the chosen witch hybrid and help with the finding of the immortal stone."

"Woah! Hold up new witch!" said Damon raised his hands in defense leaning forward in his seat

Sora rolled his eyes to the nickname dubbed by the annoying vampire.

'What was the purpose of this guy here?' wondered Sora as Damon continued talking

"Are you saying that you are some protector for her?" he asked, motioning his hands towards Bonnie, causing the said girl to glare at him from the way he said the statement.

Sora nodded. Damon stood up smirking down at him "Sorry to disappoint you kid, but that role has been appointed to me by Bonnie's great, great, great, great, great oh you get the point grandmother. So it looks like all that training was for nothing" he said

Looking to Bonnie, he motioned with his head to the door, "Let's get out of here before I get any more bored, oh, and don't forget the map."

Sora smirked at the cocky vampire who now had his back to him, walking towards the door to leave.

Still seated, he raised his right hand, freezing the vampire in place. Bonnie's eyes widened, looking to Sora, who stared at her briefly and winked at her then looked back to the frozen Damon Salvatore. Closing his hand into a fist, he raised his pointer finger then pointed it downwards and made a small circular motion

"What the-?" started Damon but stopped when he felt his whole body turned to face Sora and Bonnie on the couch

Damon's eyes immediately bled black, veins prominent on his face as his fangs extended, anger rushed throughout his body; the adrenaline was kicking in, and he was ready to lash it out on this witch.

"You better let me out of this little trap of yours right now!" he barked his orders to Sora

Sora stood up and walked to the vampire standing in front of him. "Hmmm, I could, but I'm just having so much fun kicking you off your high horse."

Bonnie couldn't help but let out a laugh of the scene in front of her as Sora turned his head back a little to her, asking, "You want to have a little fun with your magic, beautiful?"

Bonnie chuckles out of the embarrassment of Sora's nickname to her, while Damon's hands closed into a fist in the agitation of not being able to move. Bonnie stood up to stand next to Sora and looked to Damon (still with his vampire face on) and shook her head

"As much as I would love to, he's on our side, and I can't torture him just for fun," she said.

Sora let out a teasing sigh, "So you truly do live by your code."

"And I'm guessing you like to break those rules" Bonnie retorted back

Sora smirked, "I'd have to be a part of your coven to be able to break those rules," he said.

Bonnie smirked back impressed that there was another guy besides Damon that could keep up with her in witty comebacks

"Just let him go, Sora," she said.

"Fine anything for you," said Sora closing his hand into a fist then opened it quickly, releasing his hold on Damon.

Damon's hand went up to grab Sora by the throat but was caught off guard when all he grabbed was air causing Damon to get angrier

"I think someone should take up meditation to get better control on all that anger," said Sora a few feet behind Damon

Damon turned around, and vampire sped towards Sora to attack but was quick to stop himself from crashing into the closed door

"Now, now, Damon, I could do this all night."

"So can I," mumbled Damon in anger and again moved towards Sora while Bonnie rolled her eyes, seeing Damon being unsuccessful still. It was like watching a cat trying to catch a mouse.

Bonnie picked up the map, "Boys, did you get all of that?"

"Yeah. So the map-" Michael starts

"-leads us to pieces of the immortal stone," Bonnie finished the explanation while watching Damon and Sora continuing their game.

"Pieces?" asked Robbie intrigued while Bonnie got bored watching the two trying to one-up each other and turned their backs on them.

"Sora and I. can only activate the map. The map showed us five pieces, each linking to our elemental color."

"You think those pieces connect to make the Immortal stone?" Marcus asked.

"Yeah, I do. It makes sense from what Ayana told me about the night of destroying the stone," Bonnie says.

"Okay. We know what to do next. Now Get your ass out of there and let's call it a night on this successful mission," Michael said happily.

"On my way," she said and turned around to face Damon and Sora. Both were standing in their spot now on either side of the room. Damon was glaring at the smirking Sora.

"Okay, calling this mission a complete," she said, taking her phone out of her purse and handed it to Sora telling him.

"Give me your number, and I'll text you my address and the time for you to meet my family and me tomorrow."

Sora nodded typing in his number then handed it back to Bonnie, stating, "It doesn't always have to be about missions for you to call me."

Bonnie just raised an eyebrow at the boy while he shrugged his shoulders and opened the door

"See you tomorrow beautiful," he said, causing Bonnie to roll her eyes playfully of the flirtatious attitude she was going to have to get used to.

Mystic Grill, Mystic Falls. Night.

Alexis smiled at the waiter leaving with Jeremy and her orders, then looked around the packed restaurant.

Alexis looked across the booth to Jeremy, "I want to say I'm surprised, but I'm kind of sad of choice."

Jeremy laughs, "I like it when you tell the truth. I did warn you being a teenager gets a little boring."

"That is true. I was warned," Alexis replies with a laugh.

"Okay. What is your favorite color?"

Alexis chuckled, "That is a very random question."

Jeremy smiled, "One night, no talks about being a witch assassin. You are a new student."

"But I am a-" Alexis stops when she hears him chuckle.

"Sorry," she said and nodded for him to continue.

"You are my new friend that I want to get to know. We bond over the best burgers and fries in Mystic Falls."

"Technically, Mystic Grill is the only place with burgers and fries," Alexis stated only to close her eyes from her straightforward talk.

"That is true," he says, watching Alexis open her eyes and smile back at him to his response only look down when she sees Matt approaching the table.

"Hey Alexis, what are you doing here? Thought you would be on the mission," Matt says, taking a seat beside her. He notices Jeremy sitting across, "Oh, hey Jere."

"Hey," Jeremy says, trying not to sound disappointed.

Alexis looks apologetic to Jeremy than looks to Matt, "It didn't require me, and it was going to be boring sitting in the van tuning out Marcus, Robbie and Michael non-stop talking at the back. Now, what are you doing here-" she sniffs only to move back, knowingly, "-after training?"

"Hey I showered"

"I know," she teases.

Matt rolls his eyes, "I'm picking up dinner for Uncle Gab, Ty, and I then I got to pick up Aunt Rosario from your place," he says, looking to Jeremy.

"Can't believe how quickly Aunt Jenna is handling the revelation of vampires. A lot better than many," Jeremy said.

"How did you handle it when you first found out?" Alexis asked curiously.

"Uh," Jeremy starts unsure how to explain that his dead ex-girlfriend was a vampire. His eyes widen when he sees Anna appear and then walk towards the bathroom.

"Um sorry, just excuse me," Jeremy says, getting up and walking towards the bathroom.

Matt and Alexis turned around to watch Jeremy, then to each other.

"Is he okay?" Matt asks.

"I think he is seeing someone, like a ghost," Alexis says to him.

Matt stays quiet as Alexis continues her explanation; "He has that same look that Marcus or Bonnie has when they see a spirit."

"That faraway look?"

Alexis nods, "He says it's nothing, and I could be wrong."

Matt places his hands on her shoulder, "Hey. Don't doubt yourself now. I'll go check on him."

"Please, don't make it weird," Alexis says to Matt, standing up.

"What throw in a big brother threat won't hurt him."

"He's just a friend, Matt."

"Uh-huh. I need to make sure that Jeremy knows that," Matt says with a wink. Alexis wanted to use her powers to stop Matt, but truthfully, that would motivate him further.

Jeremy barges into the men's bathroom to Anna standing by the sink.

"Anna," he says

"Jere," she says with a smile.

Jeremy rushes to her about to touch her, but she steps back, shaking her head, "You can't," Anna says tearfully.

"How is this-"

"I don't know," she says, looking up to him, "But I started appearing whenever you seemed to think of me."

"That time when I was in the kitchen here when the lights-"

"That was the first time I felt the pull; then, I was able to force myself to stay longer after you thought of me. Soon it was harder for me to leave."

"Why?"

"Because I couldn't stop thinking of you," Anna admits stepping towards him.

Jeremy lifted his hand to try and touch her face.

"Jere?" Matt says entering the bathroom

Jeremy turns to the voice and turns back to see Anna gone.

"Everything okay?"

Jeremy blinks and then looks back to Matt, "Yeah, everything is fine."

"Are you sure? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Jeremy laughed bitterly, "Now that's crazy talk."

"We're living in a town of vampires, werewolves, and witches. Spirits are not crazy talk," Matt said.

The teen walks past, but Matt reaches out, grabbing his arm, "I'm serious, Jere. Are you okay?"

Jeremy roughly pulls his arm out of Matt's grasp, "I'm fine," he states frustrated with Matt's persistence, "Now I need to go see Alexis," he says, turning to leave.

Matt rolled his eyes and grabbed Jeremy's shoulder and shoved the boy against the wall, and placed his arm across Jeremy's chest under his chin holding him in place.

Shocked by Matt's strength, Jeremy tried to move, but it was no use, "Matt, what the hell?"

"I'm going to blame it on the fact that I've seen you grow up and my relationship with Elena, but you are still a horrible liar. Now Alexis will get mad at me, but I am doing this to protect from getting hurt again. If you are hiding something, tell her. When she asks," Matt stares threateningly at Jeremy, "Tell her, or you will lose this friendship with her. Lie to her, and I will make sure you don't go near her again. You don't want to know what her family and the Lockwood family will do to you if you hurt her."

Jeremy gulped, never seeing this side of Matt. He had overheard from Elena and Caroline about how much Matt had changed since leaving Mystic Falls and training with assassin coven. Still, being able to witness it, he couldn't help but be jealous of Matt's confidence and his friendship with Alexis.

"Do you understand me, Gilbert?"

Jeremy nodded. Matt let go of Jeremy, "Good. My dinner and your food must be there now," he says and leaves Jeremy staring after him.

Jeremy gasps when he feels something cold and light wrap around his hand. He looks down to a hand holding his and then up to see Anna standing beside him.

Jeremy looks at Anna, "I'm sorry I need to tell her. I want to tell her. Maybe she can help you find peace."

"I can't. Don't tell the witch. I still need to find my mom" Anna says before disappearing leaving Jeremy alone in the bathroom

Flashforward...

Sunday, 6th June 2010

Kim residence, Grove Hill. Night

"Oh, the oven is going off, but please, please call me after you see your mom" Rosario's voice echoes in Stella Kim's room.

"I will," Stella replies, staring at Rosario through the computer screen.

"Have a safe flight, and please give my love to Leila. I can't believe you are both doing this. You are returning, and Leila is seeing your coven for the first time. Good luck, and I love you."

"Love you too," Stella says with a tight smile holding back the urge to tell her best friend the whole truth.

They wave goodbye to each other. Stella ends the call. She sighs while closing her laptop and place it behind her on the bed.

"Are you okay?" Liam asks, walking into the room.

Stella closes her eyes when he kisses the top of her head. She looks up to him, following his move to sit beside her.

"I hated lying about what you were then and still now. Now Leila has to do the same"

Liam grabs her hands, "I know, but the moment Leila has control of her powers, and we get back, you can tell her everything. I will handle Samael. He can't punish us, not when there have been many more of witch-reaper for generations."

"Now Leila is this generation's witch-reaper," Stella says with a smile feeling comforted by Liam's touch, "We're doing the right thing. Telling my family."

Liam nods, "I don't want you doing this unbinding spell alone. I know you won't ask Rosario. They have enough on their plate. Plus, I want to see you reunited with your family. I want Leila to know her family. I can't offer much besides reapers that we called brothers and sisters," he finishes with a sad smile.

Stella places a hand on the side of Liam's face lifting his attention to her, "You're enough for her."

"Thank you," he says.

"Leila's asleep already?"

"First trip to South Korea. She has five alarms set up to make sure we are all up not to miss our flight."

"Now, are you ready?" Stella asks, dropping her hand.

"For?"

"For Kim coven to know what you are."

Liam nods, "Their shock and embarrassment will make up from the judging looks they gave me along with the harsh whispers on the day of our wedding. I sense many will suck up to me."

Stella laughed only to quiet when Liam placed his hand against her face, "Are you ready to get your name back, Byeol."

Stella smiled a little. Since she was banished from the Kim coven, she was forced to give up her first name. Her Korean name. She stuck with her English name, Stella, but it just wasn't the same. Rosario also lost her mind and was ready to wage war when she found out that she had to go by Stella. Stella chuckled to the memory of the young Rosario, writing down her arguments, ready to argue against her mother and say that she shouldn't give up her name. Rosario would've made a brilliant lawyer if Rosario was able to win the argument against her mother. She had stopped Rosario because she wanted to protect her new husband and start a new life with him. Stella pushed down the hurt of being kicked out of the coven, the loneliness of being the only Kim witch in Oakbridge, the betrayal and pain she never thought she would feel from her mom for choosing love over adding power for the coven.

"I am," she says with a smile and turns in her seat to lay her head against his shoulders, "No more secrets."

Liam puts his arm across her shoulders, "No more," he looks down at her, "I promise," he swears to himself internally.

Unknown location

Leila felt a sudden rush of air infill her chest forcing her to wake up. Breathing in oxygen, she shuts her eyes from the sudden bright lights on her. She moves her hand over her eyes to shade it from the glaring rays.

"Leila Kim" an unfamiliar male voice called out.

The light dims down in the empty room. Leila moves her hand to see a well casually dressed dark-skinned skinny man walk to stand in front of her with a smirk on his face.

"Who are you? Where am I?" she asks.

"We are in your head."

"What" Leila attempts to move from her spot but is stuck, "I'm guessing you're in control of it for now."

"Perceptive. You are most definitely Liam's daughter," he says. Suddenly a replica of Leila appeared beside the man. Dressed in black with her arms bound behind her and tape around her mouth.

"Who are you?" Leila asks, trying to control her panic of how having no control of the situation and looking at her replica self who struggled to break free.

The man clicks his fingers, and her duplicated self disappears. The man walks towards her, "I am Samael. Archangel Samael and you best listen to what I have to say if you want your powers back."

Leila chuckled, remembering what her father told her, "I'm a witch-reaper. Born on Earth. I have the free will not to follow your orders."

Samael chuckled back, "Yes, you did."

"Did?"

Samael smirks, "No witch-reaper has ever had their power bound. That's why a deal had to be made."

Leila looks down, overwhelmed by her realizations. She looks back up at the Archangel. "You tricked them, then?" she retorts, thinking of her parents being fooled by this Archangel.

"No, I gave them a solution. No witch can bind such power on their own. They needed me to allow it."

Leila held back her tears; "So I can get my powers, but I have to follow your orders" she chuckled bitterly "I thought you were supposed to be one of the good guys."

"I'm neither good or bad. Everything I do is to appease God's orders."

Leila stares angrily into the Archangel's dark brown eyes, "And what are your orders?" she asks.

AN: I can't believe I have this posted before February. Finally, you all get to meet Sora (officially). I really loved writing his character.

Sora is an extroverted character. He is going to be very open about his feelings towards Bonnie and her involvement in the Prophecy the more he learns about it. As Bonnie's kindred they are going to be protective of each other which in turn is going to ruffle Damon's feathers (lol) and make the coven wary of the Nakamura family line that didn't even know they were of the Elders line.

I did want to sort of follow the ghost storyline of Jeremy but I didn't want to include Vicki. It will only be Anna appearing. The reasoning will be different than the show along with the reasoning of why Jeremy can see her in future chapters. I hope it will make sense.

Now you guys have also gotten introduction of an Archangel *claps happily*. The other Archangels in this series will be making an appearance in Book 3 (currently in the planning process). Are they good or evil? Will Leila get her reaper powers and follow Samael's order? Will you guys get to know Leila's order? (That I can tell you in due time).

Hi to those who have started this series [I see you guys]. I hope you guys are enjoying this series. Heart all to those favoriting and following this series. BIG thank you to those reviewing love reading them 3

Next chapter I'm hoping to have posted up by the end of Feb or early March
