Launchpad entered the house, placing bags of groceries on the counter. "Hey, DW! I'm home, what's up?"

Only silence answered him.

"Where could he be?" He wondered to himself. He took out a small, heart shaped box of candy from his pocket. Well, at least he can't see this. Oh, the note! He thought, running over to the counter. He had left a notepad and pen there, but nothing was written on it.

"Hmm…" He wondered aloud as he picked up the pen. "I can't put this off any longer. Uh…" He began to write.

"Dear DW,

I've known you for a while now and I just wanted to…uh…well, I thought this would be a good present for you. But, just know that I really like you, and I saw this chocolate in the store today, and I thought you'd really like it, and maybe me, too? And aren't you proud, I only crashed the car a few times on the way back! But anyway, maybe sometime we should go out for dinner or something. Or I could buy you more chocolate! Yeah.

From, Launchpad"

That doesn't sound too bad. He thought as he got tape out of a drawer and taped the note to the box of chocolate.

I just wanna give it to him, but where is he? Gosalyn's at school, his car is still in the driveway so he couldn't have gone to stop a crime…eh, I'll just put it in his room where he can find it.

Launchpad walked upstairs until he arrived at Darkwing's room. As he approached, he heard what sounded like a thumping bassline.

"DW? Is that you?" He stepped closer, but still received no answer.

He probably left his TV on or something. Well, might as well just drop this in here.

Lauchwing opened the door only to see Drake standing with his back turned. He was singing loudly.

"…..Oops, I did it again! I played with your heart, got lost in-" Drake turned around. He screamed as he saw Launchpad entering the room.

"Launchpad? What are you…I mean, I didn't expect you to be home so early!"

"Is it karaoke night already?" Launchpad asked, smiling.

Drake blushed. He was holding a hairbrush up to his mouth. He slowly lowered it away from his face.

He looked at Launchpad for a minute, and then placed his brush down. He sighed. "Please, don't tell anybody, okay?"

"Of course I won't, DW!" Launchpad gave him a salute. "But, I don't think there's anything wrong with it."

"Y-you don't?"

"Nah! I think it's….cute."

Drake looked away for a moment, and then his gaze met Launchpad's.

"You think I'm…cute?"

"Of course, DW!" Launchpad winked.

"Oh…thank you." Drake smiled. "Why were you coming in here anyway?" Drake started to walk out.

"Oh, uh, no reason." As Drake left, Launchpad took out the candy and note. He found a pen on Drake's desk. He added to the note:

"-PS, your singing is adorable, I'd love to do karaoke with you."

He then placed the note on Drake's bed and followed him out.
