"So this is the new Chaotic rule book?" Tom asked, holding up a gray book. The book is about the average size as what most novels are.
He and Kaz are sitting at one of the Port Court tables. Kaz had a cup of coffee but Tom had just gotten there so he didn't order his cup yet. A few of the robots are carrying around duplicate books of the one Tom is currently holding and giving them to any player who asks for one.
"Yep, there's a digital version you can download on your scanner." Kaz said, then shows Tom his digital copy on his scanner. "I recommend just downloading it since it's free and you can't bring the physical book back home with your code. So you would have to leave it here where anyone can just take it and put it somewhere else. You would probably have to ask for a new one every time you would need to look at the rules."
"Then why are they giving out all these books?" Tom asked, looking around at all the robots giving out books.
"Beats me." Kaz says as he scrolls down the new list of rules.
"Well that's just stupid." Tom says as he flips through the book. He puts the book down and takes out his scanner. "Where do you go to get it?" He asks.
"Go to where you enter a code and just type in rule book." Kaz answers. "It takes few a minutes to download."
Tom follows Kaz's instructions and then waits as the rule book loads.
"So how many rules are they changing?" Tom asks.
"I think the Code Masters just added a few more rules and didn't change any of the old ones." Kaz says, as he reads the new rules. He gets to one that made him read it thrice to make sure he wasn't misinterpreting it.
"What's wrong?" Tom asks seeing the funny look Kaz was making.
"Read this." Kaz says and hands his scanner over to Tom.
Tom takes it and reads the new rule Kaz pointed to. Tom's face pales.
"This has got to be a joke. Who would even think of doing that!" Tom says, flabbergasted.
"I'm not supersized to be honest but the fact that they made a rule about it must mean at least one player tried it."
"There's got to be a story behind this." Tom says. "I'll ask one of the robots and see if they know." He waves at one of the robots to come over. When the robots got to their table, Tom asks: "Did someone do that to get rule 156 made?"
"Yes, there were two players who decided to use a beta drome for their sexual fantasies." The robot conformed. "They did it at night when very few people where in Chaotic. I believe one transformed into Aivenna and the other transformed into Chaor."
Both Tom and Kaz cringed at the thought of what went down in that drome and they knew if they learn which beta drome it happened in then they would never use it again.
If you're wondering what the rule said then here it is:
Players are NOT to sexually touch themselves or others while they are transformed into creatures and while they are in the dromes. The dromes are only meant to battle, practice fighting, learning about the locations, battle gear, and mugic. Dromes are not meant to have sex in. It is also unethical to use a creature's code to satisfy sexual fantasies.
