Sulley had gone through Boo's door after Mike fixed it thirteen years ago. And in those years, not much has changed. Of course, there were a few changes. Mike and Celia have been married for five years. Monsters Inc. is a bigger success than before, laughter being stored away for not being needed, as only a few canisters power an entire street.

Boo changed as well. Sulley couldn't help but notice this during one of his daily visits through her door. Sulley chuckled inwardly; 'Boo' wasn't even her name. Once she was old enough to talk, she told him that her name was actually Mary. That didn't stop him from calling her the nickname he gave the now 15-year old girl all those years ago.

"Kitty? Are you listening?"

Yes, she still called Sulley 'kitty'. And right now, she was getting ready for her first day with this boy who she'd gone off about for weeks now. Sulley got up from his sit on the bed to look over Boo.

Dressed in a pink lapel buttoned dress, with white wedges and a pale violet cardigan, Boo stood in front of her mirror as she tried to fix her brown hair. Sulley chuckled before grabbing the brush, something he found himself doing more and more, and began to brush the girl's unruly hair.

"What were you saying?" Sulley asked. Boo rolled her eyes as she answered.

"I'm saying I'm super nervous. Like Mike when he was getting ready to propose."

"Which is funny, 'cause Celia ended up asking him," Sulley replied, laughing alongside Boo. He attempted to tie her hair up, but his claws kept getting in the way, so Boo had to pull her hair back into a sleek ponytail. "But you got nothing to worry about, kid. The guy's lucky to have you."

"Aw, thanks. Speaking of Mike though, how is he?" Boo goes towards her dresser and begins the long process of putting on her makeup.

"Fine. He and Celia are expecting, actually."

Boo stops for a second. It seemed like just yesterday she was a little girl, wearing a Monsters Inc helmet and holding Mike's hand as they ran from Randall.

"Can't believe it. Can't believe it's been thirteen years," Boo whispered. Sulley walked towards her and put a hand on her shoulder. "Do you think I'm ready for this?"

"Kid, when we met, you were a funny, curious, and brave little girl. Now, you're a sweet, beautiful young lady. Trust me; you're ready."

*Ding Dong*

"My date's here. Tell Mike I said hi, 'k? And...thanks Sull." Boo kisses the still-taller-than-her monster before heading out the door. Sulley shook his head, smiling, as he walked back into the monster world.

He felt glad they had known each other for thirteen years. Each day was a new experience, a new adventure. Just like when they met. He couldn't wait to see what the future brought.
