Fluff Drabble

A/N: Just a small drabble, I'm sorry for any grammatical error

Akashi was walking passed the boy's changing room when he heard a stiffled sob. He paused and peeked inside the room. There he saw the chocolate-haired boy sitting alone while trying to muffle his crying. Akashi wondered if there were none any of his friends nearby that he could pour his heart out. Akashi's thoughts were disturbed when he heard Furihata Kouki chocked in the middle of his sobbing.

No other choice then. He sighed to himself and stepped inside the room.

Upon hearing the door being closed, Kouki looked to the entrance in shocked. His supposed to be enemy, the one he marked in the basket court was standing there with an unreadable expression.

"I'm sorry, I didn't meant to disturb but I cannot just leave you alone."

"A-Aka-Akashi-san-"

"Please calm down, Uhhh... Kouki?"

"S-s-sorry for this, this embarrassing state. I'm-"

"Don't tell me that you're fine because you don't look fine at all."

Furihata stopped and looked down from Akashi's frown. He curled his fingers and trembled. "I'm not doing a very good job marking you as a Point Guard."

Akashi approached him and sat down. Furihata jolted at the closeness.

"I don't think that's an excellent job either."

Furihata felt like his heart dropped to his stomach.

"But it could be better with lots of training and and hard work." Akashi smiled an continue.

"Why do you feel down and cry because of this? Did your teamates do this to you? If they did I'll-"

"NO!"

Akashi looked at Furihata, quiet taken back at the sudden outburst.

"Ah sorry, I mean, no, they didn't do anything. I'm just concern because lots of people can see my performance and it sucks to think about how everyone looked at me. Talking about how my ability isn't as good as them. I'm just ordinary boy who happened to be in the same team but I love basket more than anything." Another droplets of tears fell down from his cheeks. Furihata was surprised when Akashi wiped the tears away.

"A-Akashi-san?

"You don't know how valuable you are, aren't you?" Akashi smiled.

Furihata stiffened when Akashi pulled him into a tight hug. He blushed at the affection but too scared to move away.

"Kouki, you clearly watch all of your teamates during the game. You even dare to stand against me in the court, you even made a score! Can't you be proud by all of those?"

"But-"

"I'm sure the more you practice the more you'll be unbeatable, Kouki. Trust yourself and value yourself more!"

Kouki couldn't believe his ears. Akashi Seijuurou, the former captain of Generation of Miracles, the one who have the ability called Emperor Eyes, was just supporting him from his pressure. His heart tugged by he strange awed feelings. He stared into those gentle red eyes. There were no lies in his words.

"I..."

"You have to value yourself more." Akashi said and enterwined their hands together.

Furihata looked down to their hands and looked back to Akashi. "I... I'll try."

"Good. We should practice more and I'll teach you how to be a better Point Guard."

"Eh?! Y-you don't have to-"

"I insist." Akashi interrupted.

Fidgeting at the small command, Furihata slowly nodded.

"Okay..." He stuttered. He could learn how valuable he is. If it's with Akashi, he will surely learn so many things.

Together.
