What Best Friends Do
If I owned this show we would've gotten an episode that showed what happened after the accident.
Danny Phantom
SUMMERY: Good friends help you move furniture. Best friends help you move a body.
NOTES: Has anybody done this yet?
WARNINGS: An attempt at humor.
Oh sh*t. Oh sh*t. Oh sh*t. This couldn't be happening. This is a dream. A really bad dream.
Sam and Tucker stared at their friends lifeless body. He laid on the floor, unmoving. His body temperature below freezing. The Fenton's white suit turned black and his dark raven hair became a snow white color. "We need to move the body," one of them said.
"What the hell?! Sam are you crazy!" Tucker screamed. "I'm sorry. I panicked. What are we supposed to do?" Sam quickly replied.
Danny was dead. They killed him - accidentally - but they killed him! How were they supposed to explain this to his family? If they move the body, they'll think he died in his sleep. Except his hair changed color and he was wearing one of the suits from the lab that was now a different color. Also, Danny was perfectly healthy. How could he die in his sleep?
They could tell his parents they decided to pull a prank by dying his hair white while he slept, but the Mr. and Mrs. Fenton were scientists and could easily find out the two were lying. On the other hand, his parents didn't realize that they put the "ON" button on the inside, so hopefully they might not be bright enough to notice an obvious lie. Plus there was his older sister. Sam and Tucker were almost a little more scared of what she would do to them rather than her parents.
"We're not moving a corpse Manson!"
"Well then what are we supposed to do? If we leave him here Mr. and Mrs. Fenton will know we were in the lab and have us arrested for manslaughter."
The two continued arguing until they finally agreed to move the body. Grabbing Danny's arms and legs, Sam and Tucker began to carry their dead friend up the stairs.
They are going to Hell for this.
Halfway up the stairs, Danny's eyes fluttered open as he felt being carried. The first thing he saw was his friends holding onto his limbs and carrying him up the stairs of his parents' lab. "Guys? What are you doing?" the boy asked.
In shock of hearing their friend's voice, they dropped him. Danny fell down the stairs along with Tucker, who was carrying his legs behind him.
"What the heck!" exclaimed Tucker.
"We thought you were dead!" Sam yelled.
"Why?" the now white haired boy asked.
The look his friends gave him could only be described as "Seriously?" This confused the teenage boy more. "What?" he asked again.
"You got electrocuted."
"I did?" Danny paused for a moment before going, "Oh, yeah," in realization. "Why were you guys carrying me then?"
"Because you died," Sam said.
"We couldn't find a pulse or a heartbeat and you weren't breathing," Tucker told him.
"You barely even look like yourself any more."
"Look in a mirror, dude."
The teen then ran to the closest mirror. He froze at the sight of his reflection. His hair was white. His eyes were green. He placed a hand on his chest in hopes of feeling a heart beat, but felt nothing. Danny hyperventilated - if that was even possible anymore. Screaming, the now deceased teenage boy fainted.
"Do we still have to hide the body?"
Nobody can convince me that the three wouldn't help each other move a body.
