"You are so frustrating!" Veronica yelled.
"And you think you're a walk in the park? If you do, then you're clearly delusional."
"Why can't you just agree with me?"
"I'll never agree with you when it comes to you putting your life in danger for your cases."
"This is the same old argument, one we had a million times. You're okay with me putting myself in danger if it means clearing your name. But not when it's a different case. Can you say hypocritical?"
He glared at her. "The difference is when it's for me, I'm always with you so I can provide sometimes needed muscle. But when it isn't for me, you want to be by yourself."
"This is my job. And the way I do it is my business. I don't tell you how to do your job in the Navy, do I?"
He shook his head and turned his back on her. "Veronica, it's amazing the kind of feelings you incite. Some days I want to kill you and the rest of the days I want to kiss you."
Veronica crossed her arms. "If that's the way you feel maybe you should walk away, and we can be done with this."
He looked at her. "Is that what you want? To walk away from me?" The again was left unsaid.
She relaxed her posture. "No, of course not. I've already tried that, and it doesn't work. I always end up back in your arms, and I'm done fighting the truth. I belong in your arms. Normal doesn't work for me. When I moved back from New York, I knew there couldn't be any more breakups because of a fight. And I haven't changed my mind about that."
"It's just..."
"We fight. A lot," he finished for her.
"Right. And our fights get loud and mean."
He took a step closer to her. "To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't want it any other way. I think I'd rather fight with you every day of my life than have an easy relationship with some other girl."
"That might just be one of the sweetest things you've ever said to me. After the epic speech of course.
"What can I say? You bring out the sweetness in me."
Veronica laughed and stood on her toes to kiss him on the lips. "Can we pause our current fight? Just for a little while?"
Logan's lips moved over hers as he worked his hands underneath the waistband of her jeans. "I think that can be arranged," he muttered between kisses.
She giggled, letting her hand go under his shirt to touch his bare stomach. "Go. Because I have some plans about how to better spend our time in my mind."

Notes: If anyone would like to see me write anything, feel free to prompt me. I usually only write in this collection if I have prompts I need to write, so no prompts, then no LoVe Drabbles. The prompts can be anything: a scenario, a word, a setting, an emotion, anything at all. If you want to see it, tell me.
