Hi everyone,

So that was the last chapter of Necessary Evil and I want to thank everyone who had been with me during this looong long journey to completion. Thank you for all your kind words and support, for your patience when I skipped out on updates and for your understanding.

This is the first fanfic that I actually finished. I had always thought that it would be Inari Blessed that would end first because that was my first story and I have had a vested interest in it from the beginning.

Truth be told, I began Necessary Evil when I wanted a break from Inari Blessed and the constant rush of ideas in my head. I just wanted something simple and overused; a cliche. So I picked Banishment as my poison of choice and began writing without any set goal in my mind. I just wanted a break so I wasn't really paying attention to what all I was writing and made a killing out of bashing characters(Usually I try for a better characterization). I bashed a lot of the characters and it was just fun. I wasn't even planning on finishing this.

But then somewhere along the way, this story gained more interest than Inari Blessed did and after one too many messages and comments on how you all loved this story and wanted more chapters, I just couldn't leave it alone and tried to develop an actual plot than just going along with my whims.

I am still not sure how much of a success I had with this but I will wait for all your opinions.

All in all, I am glad I started and finished this work.

And of course, I have had my fair share of haters, homophobes and general bullies in comments and although they put me down for a minute or two, the rest of you always managed to cheer me up.

Once again, thank you.

I know that some of you may not be satisfied with the ending since more than a few had requested me to wipe out Konoha and make Naruto never forgive them all. But I have never found that kind of vengeance appealing. I always think that if the person who hurt you doesn't regret it, then what's the point? Unless of course the person is evil.

For all the readers and followers, thank you, you all are great.

I just hope that I am able to finish my other works as well and maybe become an established writer someday...

Sincerely,

Iris Evergreen
