Allen Walker was anything but loved by his peers, except Kanda Yuu and his family. Why would you tell me?

Allen Walker wasn't a boy with a normal appearance.

Natural white hair, too short and thin for a 15 years old boy, left arm malformation and a hideous red scar which crossed his left eye vertically.

"Monster ! " "Human error !" "Slut !"

Such were the insults he received when he was alone. He endured them harshly with a simple smile.

"Did you see that dumb albinos? I heard that he's gay and he's sleeping with guys to pay his slum!

Another new rumor among many others. Allen was used to it. Well, it wasn't totally false, he was gay but he was still virgin.

He never could get rid of this injustice. Adults won't believe him. They would stare at him with a glint of disgust in their eyes, like the others.

It was only when Mana, his adoptive father, was still alive that he felt truly happy.

Clown by profession, he thought him numerous things. Read, write, talk properly, but mostly to wear "Mana's mask", where only a sweet but false smile would appear on his thin lips for the world. Alone, mask removed, little pearls of water would flow on his rosy cheeks.

In his little circle of friends, only Kanda could see through his mask.

The behavior of the others students towards Allen was simply disgusting.

He ended to take Allen in his arms when they were alone, telling him he knew for the bullying. Allen hit him and kept repeating while crying that Kanda will be cursed if he touches him and he'll left him alone.

Kanda just tightened his hold and kissed him gently, promising him that he'll never let him alone.

Kanda kept his promise. He always stayed with Allen, protecting him from insults of the others. Sometimes, when someone was dumb enough to approach them to insult Allen, the Japanese man took the hand of the little albino while glaring to the student.

Allen always tightened his grip on Kanda's hand and truly smiled to thank him.

The students ended to know. Knowing why Kanda stayed with Allen. Knowing it was love that linked them, and not pity.

So, they started to treat him like "the monster".

Kanda would always act like a shield protecting his albino from insults, but the latter told him to give up. As long as they are together, they will keep walking and their ignorance would keep the students away.

So they let those million eyes judge them live they would, without making them leave like they wanted.
