Level 17: I AM GUNDAM!

Last Game: Emu and Nanami butt heads as how to deal with handling the Gashat Thief. But it was put on hold when Washizuka Noriko, a 16 year old student of Seibi Academy was infected by the same Gekitotsu Robot Virus. Now Emu goes to the source of Washizuka's stress, to hopefully make grounds to help Washizuka apologies.

We are Emu

I leave the CR hospital bedroom, I know where to go now. Washizuka-san's school. As I leave the elevator. I'm grabbed by someone and pushed up against the wall. "Hey, do you know which doctor is taking care of a friend?" The woman asks as she pulls up Washzuka-san's ID. I look at the woman. She has red eyes, her hair has patches of yellow and red spread across. She wears an all black jacket, and running pants, with a red top.

Emu:(looks at woman) You must be Washizuka-san's freinds correct? Or is it more precise to call you her "Parent?"

Girl 2:(surprised) Wha?! So you have BB too?

Man:(off set) I didn't realise doctors could use it.

Emu:(looks at man) You'd be surprised.(grabs arm) And I am Washizuka-san's Doctor. Can you please let me go?

Girl 1:(tightens grip) Not till you tell me if she's going to be okay.

"She is." I said, showing them a video of Washizuka-San in bed. "She's going to need someone to stay by her side. Someone to remind her that she's not alone." The girl looks at the screen then at me, before she let's go and backs up. "Just go in, and tell them that you're her friend. She needs people to stand by her. Now more than ever." I said to the three. They look at me. "I will save her. If I can't… Then what's the point in calling myself a doctor." I walk past the three. I stop at the door and turn to the three of them.

Emu:(bows) Please keep her company. Be good to her, as her doctor I want the best.

Girl 1:... (chuckles) Sure thing, Doc…

Emu:(stands up) Thank you.

On the road...

As I ride towards Washizuka-san's school, my mind is rushing with ways of how to approach this problem. If I'm going in, I'll have to do this through the internet. I check my messages to check with Poppi. I send her a message to see if she's in position. "You in position?" I messaged her.

Poppi:(message) Yes, I am waiting for you on the other side.

Emu:(message) Thank you. I'm approaching. I'll see you there.

I park my bike at the front of Seibi Girls Academy. I kick up the bike leg. Peeking inside, I see that I was able to time it correctly with lunch time. With how things look, I'm right with the idea of direct IRL. Too much time consuming to go the normal route and just walk in and ask for a pass. Takes too long, and I don't know how much time I have. Best to do it the Burst Linker way. I look at the Wifi and I connect to the Seibi academy's Wifi. How you may ask? Well… I uh… asked Poppi to enter their wifi so I can use her as an Anchor. Phew~ Here we go. "Burst Link." I mutter.

Accelerated World...

The world goes blue, I walk into the academy grounds. I see Poppi standing next to the tree in the VR world. I walk over to her, she sees me and walks over to me.

Poppi: This feels wrong, Emu.

Emu:(nods) Yeah, I know. But still, if this is to save Washizuka-san then I'm fine with taking the blame.

Poppi:(smiles) You really want to save Washizuka-chan don't you?

Emu:(chuckles) I really don't want to see such a sad face. Don't you?

"Yes I don't want to see her being so sad." Poppi said with a smile. We share a laugh, I pull up the challenger list. Iris Alice is her BB name. I'm just going to challenge her so I can explain Washizuka-sans situation. "Okay. Here we go Poppi." Poppi nods. I press the challenge button, as I get transported to an almost fairy tail esk arena. "I've never seen this one before." I note looking around.

?: Um… Who are you?

I turn to a light blue Linker with dark blue hair and wearing clothes that make her look like an old victorian era doll. "Ah, sorry. Iris-san, I want to ask-" My words are cut off by the sound of someone cheering. "He doesn't look so tough! Take him!" I look up to see three figures overlooking us. One is an Orange Dragon with a red scarf standing on two feet, the second figure is a woman figure in violet and dressed with a headdress reminding me of an arabian princess. She also has a scary long nail, the final figure is colored aluminium with a wing motif.

Emu:(looks at figures) So they must be your Legion members then?

Iris:(nods) Yes, um… Who are you, why did you challenge me?

Emu:(looks at Iris) I actually didn't come here to challenge you. It's because I need your help.

Iris:(confused) What? Help with what?

Emu:(smiles) This is going to break gamer protocol, but I need you to know.(puts hand on chest) First up, my name is Iijima Emu, I'm a doctor at the Umesato hospital. Do you know someone named Washizuka Noriko?

Iris:(nods) Yes… She used to bully me alot.

Emu: Phoo~ Got it right on the first call. Yeah, and she's currently guilt ridden and also contracted a deadly disease. The Stress is worsening her condition, she wishes to apologies and I would like you're assistance to-

I notice a glimmer behind Iris, I grab her. "Look out!" I said, grabbing her and pulling her out of the way of incoming fire. We hit the ground and I looked to where the shot came from. You've got to be kidding me?! The Black Ex-Aid steps out walking towards. "Emu!" Poppi exclaims running over, I get up and look at the Black Ex-Aid walking over. "What the heck?! Who's this guy?!" The Orange Dragon exclaims. I stare at the Black Ex-Aid as he stares at me.

Emu:(serious look) How did you get here?... What? Here to stop me? Why? What do you get out of this?

Dark Rider:(aims weapon) Nothing of your concern.

Emu: I think my patient's life is my concern! Do you not care for who may get hurt?!

Dark Rider: Hmf, her life means nothing to me.

Life means nothing to him?! I clenched my fist in anger as I grabbed my Belt and took it out. "Okay. I was referring to both of you. But if that's how it's going to be!" I strap my belt on and take out my Gashat. "I'll take you down, and save my Patient!" I said activating my Gashat. "Mighty Action X!" The level generates, around me. "I'll change my patient's life… With no Continues!" I exclaimed, as I feel energy surging through me as I swing my arm and exclaim. "Dai-! Henshin!" Flipping the Gashat I lift it up to the sky before inserting it into my driver and opening the belt. "Gatchan! Level up! Mighty Action X!" I stand ready to fight.

Iris:(surprised) Wha-?!

Orange, Violet, Aluminum:(shocked) He Transformed?!

Ex-Aid:(deep breath and exhale) I hope you're ready. Cause I'm not holding back! I'm going to Cure you!

Dark Rider:(scoffs) Try it if you can.

A ring generates around me as a hammer icon spins around the ring. "Gashacon Breaker!" The hammer exclaims as I grab it, I switch it to blade mode as I charge at the Dark Ex-Aid. Dark Ex-Aid takes out his gun/saw Hybrid and switches it to saw mode. "Tadaa~!" The blade flips out and we begin to exchange blows. We swing at each other and enter into a bladelock, spark go flying as Dark Ex-Aid's saw grinds against my blade. I lean back before headbutting and knocking Dark Ex-Aid back, he's staggered but he switches to his gun mode and shoots at me hitting me. Argh! I fall back while Dark Ex-Aid continues to shoot at me. But then he stops and scoffs.

Ex-Aid: What? Want to gloat over me?

Dark Rider: No need for such things. It's been long enough.

Ex-Aid: What the hell do you mean?!

I stand up only to see him disappear… Why would he leave? Unless… Oh no! "Poppi! We need to go! The Bugster has to be here now!" I exclaim, going to leave. "R-Right! You girls also need to log out! You're all in danger!" Poppi said before we logged out of the fight.

IRL…

I awaken to hear screams. I look to see the gate to the school broken down, Asuna runs over. We look at each other and we run into the campus to see the Robot Bugster stomping towards a band student. "S-Someone help me!" She exclaims, I rush over. "Stop right there!" I shout, as the Bugster stops and turns to look at me. A car drives up and parks, Nanami-san steps out and walks over to us. "I'll take the Gashat back." Nanami-san said strapping on her belt. Dead set straight out of the gate huh?

Taiga:(walking over) Sorry, but I'll be the one taking it.

Asuna:(surprised) Taiga, how did you…?!

Nanami:(scoffs) Must be the President, it's just like him to do that…

Taiga:(looks over) I challenge you, Ex-Aid, Brave…(looks over to Kiriya) Laser.

We all look over to see Kiriya walking over. "Eh, I'll pass. You see..." Kiriya looks over to Dark Ex-Aid in Level 3 who walks in on the scene. "I have another appointment." Kiriya said, Dark Ex-Aid looks at all of us. "I'll take you all on." Dark Ex-Aid said to us. This situation is going to be an all out battle Royal at this point! "Interesting." Taiga said. "I have a lot of questions for you." Kiriya said, taking off his sunglasses.

Emu:(steps out) Wait! We're in a public area! There are still students still around! Plus he's a patient and you want to fight him?!

Nanami:(takes out Gashat) Intern, your presence is not required here, thank you.

Emu: That has nothing to do with what I said at all!

Nanami, Taiga, and Laser activate their Gashats. "Taddle Quest!" "Bang! Bang! Shooting!" "Bakusou Bike!" Their respective levels generate as they enter their transformation poses. "Henshin." They all said in unison and inserted their Gashats into their driver. Opening their drivers they select their characters as their armors appear on them. "Gatchan! Level up! Let's game! Super Game! Ultra Game! Whatcha name?! I'm a Kamen Rider~!" W-Wait, why are none of them leveling up?! Lazer I get, but why Brave and Snipe?! "Right! Coming up first!" Lazer said as he charges in, Dark Ex-Aid takes off the bike wheel and Dark Ex-Aid has an easy time battling Lazer. "Stop it Lazer!" I exclaim. "Phase 2." "Now proceeding with level 2." Why did they not do that off the bat?! "Gatchan! Level up! Taddle Quest! Bang! Bang! Shooting!" The Bugster stomps into battle the two. "Mission starts." Snipe said as he began to open fire on the Bugster, I turned to the school to see 4 girls exiting the main building in a panic.

Emu:(worried) Crap.(looks at Asuna) We need to get them out of here!

Asuna:(nods) Right, let's go!

Emu:(running over) You girls! You need to get out of here-

Russian Girl: That voice, you are Emu-Sensei?

Emu:(looks at girl) That voice? You must be Iris then?(pulls up file) Excuse me… Usachova Lilya, you and your friends need to get out of here!

Hoori: Okay, let's go you- Look out!

I turned around to see Brave fall down on me. We hit the ground, Brave looks at me and quickly gets off. "H-Hey! Get off me!" Brave said as she got off me and picks up her sword again. I look over and see Lazer mumble something to the Dark Ex-Aid. It aggravates Dark Ex-Aid as he tosses Lazer away before throwing his wheel at Lazer. Gaining energy the Wheel boomerangs into Lazer, knowing him down before it flies over and begins hitting Snipe, knocking him to the ground then flying towards us and Brave. "Look out!" I said, as I grab the girls and we duck under the wheel as it hits Brave knocking her down.

Emu:(looks at Brave) Brave! Are you okay?!

Asuna:(looks over) As expected, Level 3 is just too strong compared to Level 1 and 2.

Emu:(sweatdrop) Yeah, that's pretty obvious…(looks at girls) Go! Run!

Lazer tries to get up, as Dark Ex-Aid stomps towards Lazer. "You..." Lazer begins before Dark Ex-Aid kicks Lazer, knocking him back down before he goes to grab and bringing Lazer back to his feet. After getting Lazer to his feet, Dark Ex-Aid kicks Lazer in the face, knocking him to his knees, Dark Ex-Aid goes in again with his knee knocking Lazer down. "No! It's going to be game over!" Asuna-san shouts, Dark Ex-Aid again kicks Lazer sending him flying across the campus and hitting the tree at the center. Dropping to the ground Lazer's Gashat flies out. "Gashun~!" Lazer's armor fades as Kiriya lies defeated. I get the girls out of the way, I look back to see the Bugster launches it's rocket arm towards Snipe. Snipe manages to jump out of the way, but the fist explodes close to Brave, knocking Nanami-san out of her armor.

Emu:(runs over) Kagami-san! You okay?

Nanami: Tch! It's becoming too risky…

Snipe: All Gashats are mine!

Christ! He sounds like a broken record at this point. Snipe battles the Robot Bugster, dodging it's arm as he attacks. Creeping around the battle Dark Ex-Aid moves towards us, the Bugster hits Snipe sending him flying into the air, as he spins through the air Snipe takes aim and shoots the Bugster.

Dark Ex-Aid:(distorted) What's wrong, Ex-Aid? Come at me.

Emu:(stands up) Why are you putting yourself in such strain?! I just want to cure your sickness!

Dark Ex-Aid:(chuckles) I believe you mentioned this before but… I think you're mistaking me for someone else.

From behind walks over… The Patient?! "Oh, come on! Again Kiriya?!" I shout in anger. "He's not the Dark Ex-Aid?! Then… Who?" Asuna asks, as the Patient readies the same device that Dark Ex-Aid is using as a weapon. What the? Why does he have one? Putting it up in front of him, the man presses the A button. Ominous music begins playing. "Bio!(replicate)" The man then takes the device and hooks it onto a handle. "Infection!" Bringing the device close to his head, the patient's body begins to change… He's not human… He's a Bugster! "Let's Game! Bad Game! Dead Game! Whatcha Name?! The Bugster!" I step back in surprise.

Chiaki:(surprised) What the hell is going on anymore?!

Snipe:(looks at Bugster) Graphite… So it was you?!

Emu:(confused) Gra-Graphite? Then… He's a bugster! So that's how he infected her.

Snipe begins shooting Graphite which seems to do little in the way of damage. Graphie readies his dual sided staff blade? Using that weapon, Graphite proceeds to beat the shit out of Snipe knocking him to the ground. "Dragon's Fury!" Graphite exclaims swinging his staff blade? In an X as energy flies at Snipe. In reaction, Snipe closes up his driver and reverts to Level 1 before jumping and spinning into his bullet form slamming into the attack. While Snipe manages to break through the attack, Graphite simply smacks away Snipe, flying over and hitting the School building before slamming into the ground. "Gashun~" Taiga-san falls down his Gashat hitting the ground. Dark Ex-Aid approaches me.

Emu:(looking around) Oohhh~ No.(grabbed) Argh!

Lilya: Emu-Sensei!

Asuna: Emu!

I'm lifted up into the air by Dark Ex-Aid as I look him in the eye. "Only the strong survive. That's the Rule of the game, you should've known that." Dark Ex-Aid said tightening his grip on my throat. "Y-Yeah… Well… Real life… Isn't like… Predator!" I exclaim. "Let him go!" Kuruma-san shouts, Dark Ex-Aid just chuckles. "Children should stay out of this fight. Brain Burst doesn't compare to a Real game like this. Yet you seem to be unable to get the picture. Genius Gamer, Second M!" Dark Ex-Aid exclaims. H-He knows about me? How?

Kurumi:(surprised) Second M?!

Chiaki:(looks at Kurumi) Who's that?

Hoori:(looks at Chiaki) A Master gamer, said to be able to complete any kind of challenge. He's broken multiple world records for speedruns, tournaments, and even done near impossible Raid's Solo.

Dark Ex-Aid:(still choking Emu) All that prowess and yet, you cling to Doctor Ideals? A Doctor Ideal holds no value here.

Hearing that, I think back to what people have been telling me up to this point. 'I'm sick of your goddamn Idealism!' Nanami-san's words echo through my head. 'Said crystal will shatter into pieces, no longer shining.' Tyler-san's words echo through my head. "Gg…AAAA~!" I scream out. "Emu!?" Asuna said, I looked Dark Ex-Aid straight in the eyes.

Emu: I just don't… Get it… Just… Just who the hell are you?! What do you want?!(tossed) Wha!

I hit the ground, I take a moment to get back up to look at Dark Ex-Aid. "If you want answers, then play the game." He tells me. Asuna-san runs over to help me up to my feet. "Emu! He's just provoking you! We have the girl's, we need to run!" As Asuna-san gets me to my feet, I gently place my hand on her shoulder and push her back. "Emu?" Asuna-san asks, as I strap on my belt.

Emu:(pissed) You mess with people's lives… Target emotionally distressed people… You don't care if people die…

I activate my Gashat, as the level loads around me. "Mighty Action X!" Energy surges through me. "Now you want me to play?! Fine then… But I'm going to Beat the ever loving SHIT out of you!" I shout, putting my arm out and swinging it around me. "Henshin!" Flipping the Gashat I insert it into my driver and open it up. "Gashat! Gatchan! Level up! Mighty Action X!" My armor forms on me. I reach my holder and activate stage select. "Stage Select!" The courtyard changes to a steel mill.

Ex-Aid:(looks at Dark Ex-Aid) I hope you're ready for this. I'll beat your game… With no Continues!

Dark Ex-Aid reaches for his wheel, while I ready my hammer. The two of us begin to trade blows but my attacks don't do much damage, Dark Ex-Aid's wheel on the other hand does in turn do a lot of damage. "Raagh!" Dark Ex-Aid hits me knocking me back, close to a block. Getting to my feet, Dark Ex-Aid throws his wheel towards me. I hit the block behind me as I acquired the power item. "Power up!" I exclaimed before smacking away the wheel and charging towards Dark Ex-Aid, he braces for my attack. Oh, you think my target is you? Jumping on Dark Ex-Aid's armor I use it as a jump pad as I launch myself high into the air. Removing my Gashat from my belt I insert it into my Breaker. "Gashat! Kimewaza! Mighty Critical Finish!" I fall down towards the Robot Bugster, it retaliates by shooting it's robot fist at me. Swinging my hammer, I break through the fist and slam my hammer into the ground, the energy slamming into the Bugster as he explodes and the Gekitotsu Robots Gashat flies into the air, as victory music plays. "Game Clear!" The Gashat sounds as it falls to the ground.

Ex-Aid:(catches Gashat) Alright! It's my turn!

Asuna:(smiles) Gekitotsu Robots, Get! Great job!

Graphite: Ex-Aid…(leaves)

Ex-Aid:(looks at Dark Ex-Aid) How's that?(shows off Gashat) Ready for round 2?

Dark Ex-Aid: Very well. It's a one on one.

Ex-Aid: I'll beat the shit out of you, and I'm going to find out who you are!

I activate the Gashat. "Gekitotsu Robots!" The level generates, before a Red, white, black, and bits of gold robot appears surprising me. The robot greets me before attacking Dark Ex-Aid keeping him busy. I toss aside my hammer before closing up my belt. "Gatchan." Flipping the Gashat and catching it upside down I insert it into my driver. "Gashat!" I swing my arm as I said. "Dai-Dai-Dai Henshin!" I open my belt. "Gatchan! Gachan! Level Up! Mighty Jump! Mighty Kick! Mighty Mighty Action X!" The Robot flies over to me and opens it's mouth and drops it's body over me. "It ate him!" The girls exclaim, as the Robot changes into armor. "A Gacha! Buttobase! Totsugeki! Gekitotsu Punch! Gekitotsu Robots!" The Feet of the robot turns into my shoulder pieces, while the flipped chest of the robot becomes the chest piece, the head hanging on my back, the arms becoming a new Robot fist on my right hand, and a new head piece with a V fin appears on.

Nanami:(looking on) So that's…

Taiga: He got to level 3…

Ex-Aid:(readies) Get ready… Because now… I AM, GUNDAM!

Dark Ex-Aid charges at me and kicks, I block with my right arm. I block again from Dark Ex-Aid before I punch but Dark E leans back dodging. I punch with my right arm which has much more reach and power, as my attack knocks back Dark E. Dark E swings around to attack me, but I block and attack with my fist just as Dark E goes to kick me. I hit before he does, knocking Dark E against a crane. Dark E charges me but I dodged to the side and I punch again knocking him back. Time to end this. I remove the Gekitotsu Gashat out and I place it on my right hand. I insert the Gashat into my slot holder and press the finish button. "Gashat! Kimewaza!" Hitting the button again I ready to punch. "Gekitotsu Critical Strike!" I thrust my arm out as my Robot fist flies forwards smashing into Dark E as the force sends him flying into a metal pile, I charge towards him and slam my right arm back into the fist. "Perfect!" An explosion goes off engulfing the area in dust, I back up and look for Dark E.

Ex-Aid:(looking) What the? What? You're just going to run?! After one finisher?! Get back here and fight me, Pussy!... Sigh. Calm down, me. Calm down…

I close up my belt and remove my Gashats. "Gatchan. Gashun~" I take a breath, still feeling a bit pissed after the fight. Yeah, beat me and get answers, my ass… No Emu, focus… Focus… I turn back to the girls.

Elsewhere… we are Observer

Dark Ex-Aid hobbles off Campus and into an area hidden nearby. His health gauge is only at 2 pieces. "Gatchan. Gashun~" Closing and removing the Gashat from his driver, the armor fades revealing Tyler. Tyler's breathing is heavy as he rests his head against his hand. Graphite and a second person playing a game looks on.

Graphite:(walks over) Ex-Aid so strong, you're shaking in fear?

Tyler:(chuckles) Please. The only Fearsome thing here is my Genius!

Gamer man:(looks up) This is exciting! Kamen Rider Genm.
