"The Golden Age?" She questioned, never hearing that term before.

He nodded in confirmation. "The Golden Age was ruled by the Tsar and Tsarina Lunanoff's, the Man in the Moons parents, along with several other esteemed families. It was a great age of travel, and it was regarded as a safe time."

Oh. She didn't realize he had parents. She assumed he'd always been there, watching. "What happened, then?"

Bunny looked uncomfortable. Maybe he really shouldn't be telling her this. No...She said she wanted too. "Well, kid, to be honest...um. Your father came into power." Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He coughed. "Simply put, he destroyed everything. He, um, destroyed planets, stars, tore families apart and killed many, even-" he winced. "Even my own kind. Moon knows how many beings he hurt. He was so set on destroying the Man in the Moon, who was only a baby when Pitch came into power. I don't know much about him before that, however-oh, eh, h-hey, don't cry-" Bunny leaned over to offer her support as she began to sniffle and tears misted her eyes. At first, she'd been sitting there stiff and stone-faced, then she just broke?

"No, you cant be serious! My father would never do that!" She said defensively, but something in Bunny's tone told her that he...that he wasn't. "He couldn't have! Right?"

"Kid, I'm really sorry to be the one to tell you all of this. But...it's true."

She still shook her head, her denial breaking bit by bit. She never would have guessed it was this serious. It was almost laughable. What bubble had she been living in? Destroying stars, planets? Even murder? No wonder she had been so sheltered; no wonder there was this...hate against her family, against her father. Its because her father was a criminal! A terrorist! She felt terrible. Now it made sense why she was sheltered. She had to hide.

"Oh no..." She cried, the truth hitting her like a ton of bricks as her head fell into her hands, guilt pouring over her frame. "Why would he do those things?"

"I...I don't know kid. I shouldn't have told you that, it wasn't-"

"No, no, thank you." She said, cutting him off, but it was clear it shook her. "I don't-ah, I don't really want to hear anymore." She muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose to cease her crying. This day was just too much. First she finds out her dead mother had a sister, next her father did all those horrible things? What's next?

"Listen, kid, I know its a lot to hear." Bunny offered. "I will let you know that's not all of it, and I understand if you're done for now. I think you should know the rest, but I can tell you later, y'know. Or even ask Tooth, or North, or Sandy."

"Right." She whispered. "Tooth is my aunt."

"You know about that?"

"I found out like twenty minutes ago." She muttered, curling in on herself. "This is overwhelming..."

"Yeah, I get it. Then I'd ask Sandy or me. I don't think you wanna speak to your relatives about your father."

"Why can't I ask North?"

...Oh great.

At Bunny's hesitance, she tried to put the pieces together, but her mind was stuck being blank at the moment. "Well...Honestly I might as well hit you with this info now, but Tooth is married to North."

Yeah, okay, she wanted to throw up. "What?" She asked, hearing him fully. She shook her head lightly. Her body felt numb, weird, and something else she couldnt place. Sighing and rubbing her face, she said; "You know what? I've changed my mind. Please, tell me more. Cause I'm sure there is."

Tooth's gonna kill him. "Uh, Tooth 'n North have a daughter, and Tooth has a younger sister? That's it I think relative-wise."

What a day! After finding out your father did horrible terroristic crimes-like genocide- and you have not one, not two, not even three! But four relatives on your dead mother's side that you had no idea existed your entire life. That's enough to make anyone want to crawl in a hole and hide. Her body was trembling with all of this racing through her mind. Was this what it was like for Jack?

"I know it's silly to ask but are you okay?"

"Yeah." She said, but it was more to herself. "I think thats enough. Thank you."

"I'm sorry kid." He said apologetically.

Blankly, she muttered, her body trembling even more as she tried to stay on her feet. She felt every emotion in her body but also felt nothing at the same time. "Its fine. I asked for the information, right? I needed to know this. Even if it was life changing and traumatic and overwhelming to the point where I think I'm going to pass out. Uhm. Now I'm going to stop talking. Or thinking. Goodbye."

Before Bunny could say another word, Elizabeth threw herself into the shadows.

.

Now that she was alone, she allowed the pure panic she'd been holding in take over. The panic that made you feel like you were dying; harsh breathing, almost as if there was no oxygen in the air. The grip of cold heartache on her heart. It was so much like the day she found out her Jackson-her beloved Jackson- had died. It was a pain, a fear she never wanted to feel again.

Luckily for her, since she was one of the few people who can gain power over fear, she can mask her own. Her father nor her sister would suspect a thing. Lucky for her, her Jackson was alive. Lucky for her, her father, the man who raised her, was really a horrible person who's action she'd have to pay for eventually. Lucky for her!

Now back to the problem; oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no her heart was going to explode-

There's no way her father did all of that? Bunny wasn't serious, right? Oh, how could she look at her own father the same way? She couldn't! Did Kira know? How would she react? Elizabeth wanted to ask her father herself but honestly? She felt a little uncomfortable. Her father was a...a k-killer.

Suddenly, it hit her. 2012...it was serious for a reason. And Jack! Oh, her father nearly hurt him! Killed her aunt and uncle off! What would he have done then? She had been so in the dark during that year, and she had written it off. No, don't be so hard on yourself for that, she thought, your father didn't tell you hardly anything!

She didnt...the weight that poured on her was so suffocating. Where was her body? Where are her limbs? She couldn't feel them. All she could feel was buzzing, and the heat behind her eyes that hurt so badly. Her mind was going a mile a second, her thoughts were losing consistency and substance. She was starting to run on autopilot, and at the moment Elizabeth had no idea who she was.

She was going to vomit.

Gagging, she found herself stumbling through her home since she knew the layout better. This was crazy. She was being to emotional, huh? Or was she acting normally? What was normal to her?

After she managed to empty the contents in her stomach, she laid on the cool floor, limp and feeling absolutely guilty and sick and she just wanted to cry and run away and change her identity and-

She couldnt do any of that.

Well, scratch that. She could cry. After that, she needed to speak to her father again as much as she didnt want too.

At the thought, she gagged again and emptied her stomach once more.

Pitch was careful to be quiet in the place. Father Time, while never around him, never liked his space to be trespassed, but Pitch didn't care in the slightest. He was here for a reason.

And that reason was standing close by, inspecting some odd scroll with a language he knew was old.

"Kira." He said, making her perk up and looked over to his direction.

"Father," She greeted with a slight respectful bow before setting the scroll down. Kira definitely looked more like Pitch. She was taller, coming to his shoulders (Elizabeth only came to his chest), she was also much thinner. Her skin was a smidge lighter than Pitch's, and her hair was long and inky. Her eyes were a lot more colder than her sister's, which were warm. She had mentioned she started to like the modern-day style of business casual in one of her letters, he remembered. She wore a dark long sleeved-turtle neck, tucked neatly into pinstriped black and grey suit pants. "I wasn't expecting to see you." She grinned, fangs reflecting the light before she gave him a hug. "How are you? Or Tibby?"

"We are fine," He smiled back. "However, I feel like she needs to see you."

"Huh?" She pulled back, more alarmed. "Is she okay? Why'd you say that?" Kira, for as long as they were sisters, was always protecting Elizabeth. Didn't matter what it was from! She didn't take lightly to her baby sister's problems.

"No, no, nothing serious." He waved it off, "Remember what you told me about Jack Frost?"

If Elizabeth had anyone to thank for bringing Jack to her, it was Kira. She'd noticed him when she was in hiding during the events of 2012, and she swore he'd looked familiar. Working for Father Time had its perks, though, so she did some digging. It didn't take her long to realize that Jack Frost was Elizabeth's first love. She had also been the one to suggest a (minor) kidnapping. Out of his daughters, Kira was the one to take action and wasn't afraid of getting her way, even if that meant some rule breaking. Headstrong, she is.

Kira grinned, "Yes, I do! Did you do it?"

"Yes, I did-"

"Oh, that's nice!" She laughed, "I bet she doesn't know what to do. Doesn't he have amnesia? From what I've heard he doesn't remember hardly anything from his past life, right?"

He nodded.

Kira set whatever book she moved down, shaking her head lightly. "Ah, that's a shame. Oh well, at least he's alive. Or. Well, sorta." Sighing, she said, "Well, after I'm done here, I'll have to talk to her."

"Please do." He said, pulling her into another hug. "I'll see you again soon."

"Alright, Father." She smiled, and waved as he left through the shadows.

Toothiana stood in front of her sister's door, in her mortal form, and worried.

Vanish and her's relationship was never good after...she sighed. Mithra was such a sore subject, and Vanish may not even believe her.

What would she even say? 'Hey! Remember how we thought our niece was murdered with our sister? Well, turns out, it was a lie! Not only that, but we have another niece!'. Yeah, Vanish wouldnt have that. She'd slam the door in her face.

She knocked on it lightly and waited. She felt awkward as she waited, hearing cars and people walking up and down the street behind her. She knew Vanish loved this townhouse, she'd lived here once or twice before. Ever since she dismissed her magical origins in her grief. This was also where Vanish raised Bianca.

"Coming!" She heard; Vanish. When the door opened, Vanish's smile slipped off her face, recognizing her sister.

"Toothiana." She greeted, almost monotonous. "What're you doing here?"

Vanish's mortal form wasn't much. Her skin was darker than hers, and her rich brown hair was pulled up messily, her green eyes were hard as steel and Toothiana couldn't help but notice the little scar on the corner of her mouth that she's had since she was young, getting it the day their parents died. Vanish was a casual person, so it didn't surprise her that she was wearing a plain shirt and pants with slippers.

"May I come in, please?"

Vanish rolled her eyes, but opened the door some more. Toothiana stepped in uncomfortably. "Um, how have you been?"

"Fine."

"Oh, thats good." She said, sitting on the couch. Vanish sat down in another chair across from her, almost glaring at her.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, Vanish asked, "Why are you here? Did you need Bianca or something?"

"Well, I will later," She muttered, not wanting to overwhelm Elizabeth. "I came here to talk-"

"If you try to talk to me about her I do not want to hear it." Vanish rushed, her blank expression turning serious and almost pained. "I hate it when you bring her up. I hate it when we have these 'talks'."

Toothiana sighed. The reason her and Vanish had a falling out was from when they last saw their sister, Mithra. Mithra at that point had been Pitch's prisoner and hadn't been seen in months until she showed up at the Battle at the Himalayas. Toothiana, upon seeing her then-pregnant sister, had snapped and said some harsh words, assuming her sister had betrayed them, before swearing her and Vanish were done with her. Vanish was barely a teen, and hearing word of her murder six years later crushed the youngest sister. Vanish blamed Toothiana, and hated being around her as a result. It was still clear that after all these years, she never healed. "Listen, this is important-"

"I dont care!" She shouted, her fuse already short with her older sister. "Moon, why do you bring her up? Do you not remember what you said to her? Talking about her will not bring her back, Toothiana."

"Please listen to me-"

"You come into my home and do this thing all over again? Last time you pulled this stunt, I ended up raising your daughter!"

"Vanish-"

"I want you to leave!" She yelled, before Tooth decided she had enough.

"Our niece isnt dead!" She yelled back with as much power as Vanish had. Vanish stopped, her anger fading as her confusion grew.

"What?" She whispered, not believing her. Shaking her head lightly, she muttered. "No, no, c'mon Tooth, that's sick to joke about."

"Its true." She said. "It's true! She's been alive this whole time, and even worse? Mithra had another baby."

Trembling, Vaish sat back down. "No...No...Another baby?" She looked up, sad, "She had two babies?"

"We have another niece!" Toothiana laughed, tears in her eyes. "Her name is Elizabeth and she looks so much like her."

"Elizabeth..." She whispered, her voice so small and quiet. Vanish stared at her hands. "...How did you figure this out?"

"I met her." She said. "She's at the Pole now."

Vanish stared at her for a moment, before faltering. "This has to be a sick ploy on his move. I can't...I don't..."

"I know." Toothiana nodded understandingly, putting a hand on her sister's shoulder. "I know. It was hard for me too. But she's just as confused as we are. She doesn't even know she has another aunt, or that I'm married or that she has a cousin!"

"But...Pitch-He tore our family apart." She swallowed thickly, tears misting her green eyes. "Why did he do that? After she died...I would've preferred he just dump her children on us!" Vanish's tears overwhelmed her as she shuddered and began to cry. Toothiana pulled her into a hug. "Why did he lie? This is so much."

"I know it is. It's been so crazy the last few days. I know we had our falling out, but for our niece's sake, can we just...?"

Before she could continue, Vanish began to nod in agreement. "Yeah. Yeah...I want to meet her."

"Then let's go."
