AN: Hey guys, sorry for not updating in a while, and I'm also sorry for what I'm about to say.

As of now "The Assassin Known as Paladin" will be on hiatus. The reason why the story will be on hiatus is due to how the writing for this story seems inconsistent. What I mean is how I sometimes write without thinking whether or not what I wrote will fit easily into the story. An example of this would be how I made Assassin!-Jaune a complete harem-protagonist with multiple girls, only to realize that I ended up making Jaune a complete flirt.

That was not my original intention for this story.

At first, I wanted to do the harem-route, solely because he was the last Arc of his family. But, I got carried away and began to make multiple girls fawn over him, sometimes the reasoning not even making sense, and a bit cliche as well. Thus, here is what I plan to do:

1) I rewrite "The Assassin Known as Paladin", this time making sure that what I write will flow better; as well as making sure that Assassin!-Jaune doesn't go crazy with the flirting with the female cast. I plan on doing either of these pairings - Arkos (Jaune x Pyrrha) or Dragonslayer (Jaune x Yang). Obviously, the reason for Arkos is Pyrrha being the first one to show romantic feelings toward Jaune, though I am slightly more biased towards Dragonslayer, simply because in the fandom Yang would be the one to make Jaune a blushing mess. However, this version of Jaune would be the one to make Yang a blushing mess. At first I also planned on doing Jaune x Neo, though I feel like Neo could be someone else within the story.

2) I delete "The Assassin Known as Paladin" and create a new RWBY story. Though, I'm not sure whether to go with a full-on OC Huntsmen team, a different Jaune-AU, or a self-insert. While I have a team of OC Huntsmen already thought out, I also feel like most of you guys would enjoy reading a RWBY story which is an AU. For the self-insert, my reasoning for that is due to how I've read other self-insert stories such as "My Turn" by Le MAO XXVI & "Out of Place" by JC of the Corn.

There are many ideas that I want to upload, but I have no idea which story idea would be the most pleasing to you guys. If you're interested, please check my profile to see the story ideas that I have. With that said, I once again apologize for the hiatus.

Just know that I plan on creating a new story, one that isn't from RWBY or BNHA.

Instead, I am writing a Goblin Slayer AU.
