Once Upon a time Descendants

A/N: this is the story of Descendants, using the characters from Once upon A time.

Summary: In present-day Mist Haven, Neal, the teenage son of King David and Queen Snow White, is poised to take the throne. He offers a chance for redemption to the trouble-making teen descendants of defeated villains exiled to the remote Isle of the Lost. The villains' descendants have been granted permission to attend a boarding school in the kingdom with the heroes' kids.

For some clarification, this is an AU, so things will be altered from Once Upon a time. Henry is Regina's biological son, Emma and Neal are twins, Baelfire is Belle's biological son as well as Rumplestiltskin's, I will be using the name Lily instead of Mal, and there will be no Jafar or Jay. I know that Aurora has a boy and Cinderella has a girl in OUAT, but its reversed in Descendants and thats the way it will be in my story.

Prologue

Twenty years ago, Prince Snow White married her Prince Charming, in front of the entire kingdom. At that wedding The Evil Queen crashed and promised the destroy their happiness if it was the last thing she did. Determined to outwit her step-mother, Snow White asked the Dark One for help. the Evil Queen was defeated, and with the help of her friends, Snow White banished all villains to an Isle that David named the Isle of the Lost. The Blue Fairy used her magic to create a barrier around the Isle, preventing villains from using magic. for his help, Rumpelstiltskin was allowed to remain in Mist Haven (The Enchanted Forest) with his wife, Belle, as long as he gave up using dark magic. In order to keep this promise, Rumpelstiltskin gave Belle the dagger. Unfortunately, a few years later, after Belle had given birth, Rumpelstiltskin could not resist the darkness in his heart. He stole the dagger from Belle and took her heart to prevent her from telling anyone. In order to prevent herself from being used by Rumple, Belle took the sleeping curse Rumple had stolen from Maleficent and used it. Rumple could not wake her. he returned her heart but it was too late. Rumple was defeated and sent to the Isle with his son, while Belle was placed in a glass coffin with a preservation spell, in hopes that one day they could find someone to break the curse.

A/N: Sorry this is such a short chapter, I just wanted to show some background and get a feel of what you guys think before I continue. Please let me know. Also, should they live the way they do in the Enchanted Forest in OUAT, or should they have technology and modern clothing, like they do in Descendants. Reviews appreciated.
