Goku jumped over to Krillin, giving him a senzu. What was left of the Ginyu Force was watching in disbelief, but Oko could see the frustration on Recoome's face. Oko glanced at him and flew beside Goku. She noticed Vegeta kneeling on the ground, blood dripping from his wounds as he glared at Goku. Goku spotted him and smiled.

"Hey, Vegeta!" he called, waving.

"T-This isn't fair!" Jeice exclaimed. "No healing allowed! You insects are breakin' the rules!"

"Correct!" Recoome shouted. "Recoome was just about to do his finishing move!"

Goku looked over and frowned, standing tall. He gave them an intimidating glare, which caused Jeice to step behind Burter. Recoome grinned crookedly, his missing teeth showing.

"Shut up," Goku spat. "What you villains are doing is cruel... and I don't stand by and watch."

"Oh! We've got ourselves a hero!" Recoome exclaimed, stepping forward. "Recoome will destroy him with his ULTIMATE attack!"

"Stay back, guys," Goku said, looking back at Oko and Gohan with a reassuring smile. "I'll handle this."

Oko was still then nodded a bit. Krillin got up and walked to Gohan's side. Goku turned back to Recoome, clenching his fists. Recoome grinned and slammed his fists into the ground, powering up.

"RECOOME! ULTRAAAAAA-"

He was cut off when Goku launched forward, punching Recoome hard in the stomach. Recoome froze in place, his eyes widening and his muscles tensing up. Goku stepped back. Recoome stayed still for a second then face planted on the ground. Oko frowned slightly then felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked over to see Vegeta pull her away from Gohan and Krillin.

Goku then turned back to his group of friends, a smile now present on his face. "So! He must have been pretty strong to take all of you down like that, huh?"

Vegeta simply glared at Goku, gripping Oko's shoulder tightly.

"Y-Yeah, he was," Gohan stuttered, staring at Recoome's unconscious form in shock.

"God, Goku, you have no idea how hard it's been down here!" Krillin exclaimed. "We landed, then there were bad guys, and our ship broke, then we had to hide from an alien emperor-"

"Woah! Woah! Woah! Tell me later!" Goku said with a grin. "Seems like I got a lot to catch up on!"

Goku then looked over to Vegeta, who was already giving him a death glare. Goku remained to smile at him.

"Nice to see you and Oko made up," he said, giving them a thumbs up.

Oko glanced at Vegeta and shrugged. "I guess..."

"This isn't right!" Jeice barked. "We were winnin' then this wanker shows up outta no where and just like that it's goodnight Irene!"

Oko frowned slightly and Vegeta gripped her shoulder a little tighter.

"He's making fools out of us..." Burter growled. "Might as well show him who's boss in this galaxy."

Jeice nodded and crouched down. "You're right, Burter... We need to team up. We can't take him by ourselves!"

Burter nodded and crouched down. Goku sighed and the two launched forward. Goku easily dodged Burter and punched Jeice in the nose. Jeice let out a yelp of pain and staggered back, his hands covering his face. Burter stopped himself and growled. Goku punched him across the face again, Oko hearing a noticeable crack coming from Jeice's nose.

Burter growled. "Jeice! Rush him!"

Jeice growled and swiftly kicked toward Goku as Burter tried to punch him. Goku blocked both attacks with ease. Oko frowned. He was strong... much stronger than he was on Earth! Her father had told her the legends of the Super Saiyan... but she thought of it was impossible to reach that form! At this point, she expected Goku to power up and transform already!

Jeice and Burter both jumped back. Goku had his arms in an "x" sort of position on his chest. He shot them out to the sides of himself, causing a powerful energy wave that knocked the soldiers back. Dust flew up from the ground as the wind blew past harshly.

Burter and Jeice both flew up. Oko heard them talking, but couldn't hear them that well. They were speaking into their Scouters. Oko frowned and instantly assumed they were trying to contact Frieza. She quickly raised her arm, shooting a ray of chi at Burter's Scouter. It shattered, making him yelp in shock. He growled and glared down at her.

"Why you little-"

Goku quickly flew up, kicking Burter in the stomach. Burter went wide eyed and Goku threw him to the ground harshly. Jeice's eyes widened as he flew back a bit. Burter remained still on the ground, unconscious. Jeice stared in horror at his fallen friend.

"Y-You... You just k-killed me best mate..." Jeice said shakily, trembling slightly.

Goku simply looked at Jeice. Jeice tensed up and quickly flew away. Oko frowned and stepped forward.

"You're letting him get away!" she exclaimed.

"Come on, Oko! He's got a second chance," Goku said with a frown. "Everyone deserves a second chance!"

"You... You think they're gonna change?" Krillin asked, glancing at the unconscious fighters.

"Maybe!" Goku said with a shrug. "You never know-"

Vegeta swiftly shot a chi blast at Recoome. Oko went wide eyed and he quickly flew up, slamming his heel into Burter's neck. It made a loud snapping sound. Oko stared silently at the corpses.

"Vegeta!" Goku exclaimed. "Why-"

"You're idiotic," Vegeta spat. "If we let them live, they'll just come back to kill us."

Goku didn't move, giving Vegeta a disapproving look. Vegeta simply rolled his eyes.

"Guys, we should go get the Dragon Balls back from Ginyu," Krillin said nervously. "This isn't a time for fighting."

Goku sighed and nodded. "Yeah... but Vegeta and I can handle that. I want you to take the kids back somewhere safe, okay, Krillin-"

"We need to stop wasting time!" Vegeta barked. "Frieza has the Dragon Balls and while you're here playing life guard, he's probably already made his wish!"

"He couldn't have!" Krillin said quickly. "If he did, we would have seen the sky darken! And we'd probably see-"

Oko felt a spike of chi and looked at the sky quickly. The others seemed to notice too.

"They're coming!" Gohan exclaimed.

Oko growled and clenched her fists. A second later, Ginyu and Jeice landed a few yards away. Oko growled and stepped back. Goku spotted them and smiled a bit.

"They're strong..." he said, sounding a little excited.

Oko gulped nervously and stepped back. This fight with Ginyu was going to get very messy... Oko knew it.

"Krillin, take the kids and go to Bulma," Goku said, looking over.

Oko frowned. "What? But I'm the third strongest here! I can help!"

"Oko, you have to be there to protect them in case something happens," Goku said with a soft smile. "Vegeta and I can handle them!"

Oko stared then sighed angrily. "But I can-"

"Oko, go," Vegeta spat.

Oko looked over at him and frowned. "Father-"

"I said, go, Oko," Vegeta snapped, glaring over at her. "Don't make me repeat myself again."

Oko stared then nodded a bit. Vegeta nodded and smirked.

"We can handle this..."

Oko nodded. "O-Okay..."

"Come on, Oko," Krillin said, flying up.

Oko nodded and sighed, flying up beside him. She glanced back at her father then the three took off. She worried... for them both... but she knew they could take Ginyu down together.

They had to.
