AN: Hey everyone! I just want to say Happy Easter! I know we're in tough times but we'll get through it together :) (Warning, there are a few sexual references in this chapter)

(UNKNOWN, ODYSSEUS POV)

The revelation of just who I was and for whom I worked for caused Pontus to pause. He stood there for a few moments, weighing his decisions, wondering if it was worth angering the Primordial of Fate. Deciding he'd be better off not having to deal with yet another Primordial, he growled in frustration as he flashed out of the room, making his anger known as the light created from him flashing out was unnecessarily bright and disturbing.

Without a powerful force keeping her frozen in place, Hylla fell to the ground, all the momentum behind her attack had long since dissipated. Dionysus fell to the ground as well, however, not a moment passed before he scrambled to his feet and put some distance between himself and Hylla's red sword. Rising to her feet, Hylla managed a single step towards the weaponless Dionysus before she erupted into a coughing fit. She rubbed her throat gingerly, revealing that Pontus's grip had not been light.

Taking advantage of the situation, the wine god ran to the Thyrsus on the ground. He rushed to attack Hylla while she was incapacitated, and upon reaching her, he swung his staff at her head.

I felt my anger rising at the cowardice displayed by Dionysus. To attack an enemy while they posed no threat to you was underhanded, shameful, and would not be tolerated in my presence. Crossing the distance of the ten feet between us in roughly half a second, I thrust my longsword just above Hylla's head, intercepting the blow of the icy staff.

My sword was forged from solid Adamantine, the hilt from chiseled Stygian Iron. Just from that, it is already a deadly weapon, capable of killing almost anything. But being the champion of Ananke came with its perks, for studded in the pommel of my sword was a large glowing amethyst, from which glowing purple lines sprouted and lined the edges of my blade.

They weren't just for show either, as they allowed me to cut through everything with ease, including the strings of fate that govern events. I can influence how a certain event plays out, like a battle or a fight, however, that doesn't mean I can just decide the outcome, only influence it.

The strings that govern life are beyond me and belong to the Fates, so I can't just cut the string of life of any enemy and not even have to fight them, unfortunately.

I had chosen a longsword because that was my preferred weapon back when I was mortal, some three thousand years ago. However, now that my fights require speed and maneuverability rather than the great force provided by a longsword, I fashioned my weapon with a spell that allows it to split into two short swords, enabling me to switch between forms in the middle of a fight.

Shock covered Dionysus' face as his blow stopped just short of its intended target. "I can't have you meddling in our business anymore, Odysseus," He spat, turning his full attention to me now.

Before either of us could make a move, however, Hylla recovered from her coughing spat, and gently pushed me away. "I thank you for sparing me from Pontus, noble Odysseus, but this little leech is mine," she snarled viciously, raising her red blade once more.

Dionysus gulped, eyes flicking back and forth between me and Hylla. Realizing what he was about to do, I raised my hand in the air and muttered a few words. A small ball of purple light formed in my outstretched hand, and soon the whole room was bathed in a soft purple glow.

I grinned maliciously. "The spell I just cast disables anyone touched by its light from flashing out. It was designed to trap immortals. However, since your an Olympian blessed by a Primordial, it won't work on you completely. So you're free to flash out at any moment, but you won't be able to choose where you end up, and the amount of energy you will need to expend will exhaust you enough so that you won't be able to flash around for at least a day or two," I explained, my grin increasing.

Dionysus' eyes widened in shock, having discovered just how much trouble he was in at that moment.

"So, what have you decided to do? Stay and fight, or risk ending up in a volcano, or, who knows, fifty feet away from here?" I asked, my grin growing larger.

The icy Olympian smiled hesitantly. "I think I'll take my chances, thanks," he stated, disappearing in a flash of light purple. I smirked, as unbeknownst to the both of them, I had used my sword discreetly to alter where he would end up. I decided to leave him stranded in the middle of Death Valley in California, making sure he was far from any civilization.

"You have two days to hunt him down and kill him before he slips out of your grasp, I suggest you get to tracking him immediately," I informed Hylla. With a quick turn of my wrist, I dispelled the trap I set and disappeared in a flash of dark purple.

I flashed into the throne room of the grand palace of Ananke, located somewhere deep in the void of chaos. My patron sat upon her throne, a majestic seat fashioned from the essence of chaos, a miasmic substance that glowed dimly, a fact which only served to make Ananke appear terrifying and powerful.

A smile graced her beautiful features. "Look how far you've come, my champion. From king of a small island to scaring off Primordials and Olympians alike, you make a goddess proud."

I bowed, holding back a huge smile, trying to appear dignified. "It is your blessing that gives me the strength to challenge those Primordials and Olympians alike, my Lady," I said, rising, and finally giving in to my urge to smile.

Her smile faded, and she adopted a more serious tone. "I believe I have found Aion's new home. As you know, after Kronos faded and the seal holding Pontus began to weaken, Pontus was able to start making his army and his Hydrocines. He invaded Aion's domain, who has grown weaker over the centuries, ironically, and since then Aion has been running from Pontus's reach. But now I believe I have found his new fortress, if you can call it that. Its the Labyrinth. He's restoring it, and once its fully restored, even Pontus' armies won't be able to do a thing to him. I believe he has acquired Ariadne's String from a member of Camp Half-Blood he has recruited, eliminating the only thing that could get Pontus' army through the Labyrinth," Ananke explained.

"Then Aion is running out of time because the seal holding Pontus has weakened enough for him to actually materialize a body. I believe the only thing that can distract Pontus enough for Aion to complete his Labyrinth is the Olympians and their children," I said. I hadn't realized Aion had been pushed into such a terrible situation. Aion had certainly underestimated Pontus' vengeance when he told Kronos how to make the seal that would imprison Pontus.

"Indeed. It is quite unfortunate that you were unable to obtain Pontus' location. We could have stopped the whole war right now and saved millions of innocent human lives. This war will affect them the most," she muttered sadly.

After three thousand years of life, I have encountered many different people, mortal and immortal, however, none have come close to being as important or dear to me as Ananke. Seeing her sad made me want to upheave the whole universe. It stirred powerful emotions in me, things I haven't felt since that fateful day I came home to Ithaca and found a horde of suitors lined up to take my wife Penelope's hand.

"I'll find Pontus," I snarled. "I'll rip his whereabouts from Dionysus' lips if have to." I finished, flashing out in a blast of purple light.

(OLYMPUS, ARTEMIS POV)

I threw open the doors to Olympus to find Athena and Ares bickering in an empty throne room. Well, empty except for Hestia, who, if her annoyed expression was anything to go by, had tried to resolve their argument and had failed spectacularly.

"Ares, if you complain one more time about me going on this hunt then I'll shove my spear down your oafish throat, castrate you and throw your puny balls in Hestia's hearth!"

"Puny balls? PUNY BALLS! Have you ever seen any balls, since you're so shy you have to imagine having sex with a man in order to pop out a child from your big ass forehead!"

"At least I have a brain behind my forehead! Your brain must be located at the tip of your tiny penis! And I know it's tiny because Aphrodite is always complaining about it!"

"Hah! You wish! By the time I'm done with her she's so tired she can't move for hours! Maybe you want some, seeing as how you like talking about my cock and balls so much!"

"Oh please, if I wanted to break my chastity I wouldn't do it with someone who finishes in two minutes! Your size isn't the only thing Aphrodite complains about you know!"

'Okay, that's enough of that,' I thought. Before Ares could retort I cocked an arrow and shot it right between their heads, which was an accomplishment considering they were just inches apart, snarling at each other.

They both turned to me, their angry faces replaced by surprised ones. "You two done squabbling like a couple of hens or should I wait till your little spat is finished?" I asked impatiently.

"We're done, let's go," Athena stated with a huff, marching towards me.

"Yea, we're done...for now," Ares added, walking over to me as well.

Athena rolled her eyes. "No, we're done. Period."

"We'll see when we get ba-"

"Okay, time to go!" I chirped, flashing us all to my hunters camp. I was starting to realize it would be like this the whole time we searched for Dionysus. I was also starting to realize that Olympus was screwed. Royally.

We managed to track Dionysus to a large cliff in the middle of nowhere, but that's where his trail ended. It seemed like he had gone into the cliff, but that was impossible, right? I was starting to get deja vu from when I tracked Percy. All was not as it seemed.

"Well? What does the great Artemis think about this great cliff? Also, what does she think about actually finding Dionysus?" Ares asked dryly.

I rolled my eyes. "I think we should look around this cliff because something about it is rubbing me the wrong way," I said, wordlessly directing my hunters to scout the area around the cliff.

"Well, I can help with that," Ares whispered coyly.

I raised an eyebrow, which seemed to delight him.

"I can rub you the right way." He grinned from ear to ear, raising his eyebrows suggestively.

"I hope you know that I speak for women all over the world when I say, you repulse us," I stated as his grin turned to a sneer.

"Whatever, I hope you know this is a waste of time," he barked, walking off muttering angrily.

Rolling my eyes, I turned to Athena. "Help me look around this cliff, there is something here that we're missing."

Before we were able to move an inch, a loud bellow froze us in our tracks.

"WHAT THE FUUUU-!"

We rushed to where the sound had come from and found a hole in the cliff face with a ladder leading down about 50 feet, and at the bottom was Ares, groaning and cussing at the same time, next to a sheet of paper that looked deceptively like the cliff, and just the right size to mask the entrance.

"Would you look at that, Ares actually did something useful for once," Athena said with a smirk.

I chuckled and gestured to Athena to go first. With a loud whistle to call my hunters to me, I started to climb down the mysterious ladder.

Upon reaching the bottom, I found a cross Ares and a chuckling Athena, standing in a tunnel that lead to a pair of double doors fashioned from the same stone as the tunnel, a fact that made it hard to see that they were doors. Deciding to pay him back for his disgusting comment earlier, I smiled sweetly and said, "You know, I didn't think you would be useful on this trip, Ares, but it looks like your stupidity can be helpful at times."

"Whatever, if I hadn't found the entrance then you'd still be stuck looking at the cliff like an idiot," he retorted with a huff.

"No, you mean if you hadn't fallen into the entrance, then I would have found it and climbed down it like a normal person, and not an idiot," I replied, flashing a smile to Athena.

Ares was about to fire back an insult but was silenced by Athena, a serious expression on her face.

"I think I heard something move behind those doors," She whispered, warily moving towards them.

Focusing on the door made my hunter senses tingle, and after a few more seconds I was able to discern five pairs of footsteps, all trying to make as little noise as possible.

'Trying to sneak up on three Olympians, wow, it's really not your day,' I thought with a sinister smile. Making sure to move as silently as a panther, I crept towards the door, and upon reaching it, I drew all my godly power into a powerful kick.

The doors blasted off their hinges, knocking down three would-be assailants. The other two had quickly jumped back, letting out yelps of surprise.

I could tell that one had died upon impact, and two were injured badly if the sound of their groans was anything to go by.

"It's Artemis! Quick! Sound the alarm!" shouted one of the people who had jumped back in time. He was dressed in light stygian iron armor and wielded a stygian iron short sword.

The other person turned and began sprinting to a long rope on the other end of the room, probably to sound said alarm. She was dressed in a similar fashion to the boy, however, her weapon of choice was a spear.

A quick scan of the room revealed nothing of interest, only two sets of doors, one a single door leading to what seemed to be an uninteresting part of the underground fortress, and the other an ornate set of double doors that were studded with precious gems that glistened in a myriad of colors.

Deciding that I'd rather not be announced to the whole fortress, I drew my bow and quickly fired an arrow right into the exposed part of the girl's armor between the helmet and chest plate. She fell in an instant, choking on the arrow that had lodged itself in her throat.

"Nooo! Jennifer!" yelled the boy who had given the command. He turned to me, pure hatred in his brown eyes. "I will kill you!" he screamed.

He lunged at me, pointing his sword right at my heart. Just as I was about to dodge, a bronze sword came out of nowhere and blocked the boy's attack.

A second later Ares walked out from beside me and grinned.

"You wanna go kid? Cause I'll rip your guts out and feed them to you," the god of war snarled, his grin full of terrifying malice.

The boy gulped, fear visible in his eyes. However, he seemed to remember his friend, Jennifer, because he steeled himself and swung at Ares's head.

"Big mistake kid," Ares said with a hint of...pride? In about three seconds the boy was on the floor, his sword halfway across the room. "I'll give you three seconds to get out of here, and never come back, just because I like your guts," Ares growled.

This time the boy listened because he took off to the single door on the left side of the room, and slammed it shut.

"I'm assuming that's where we want to go," Athena said, stating rather than asking while pointing at the bejeweled door.

Nodding, I strode to the doors and flung them open. I was met with a woman standing next to a very familiar face, who, at that moment, flashed out of the room in a blast of dark purple light.

The woman turned to look at us, seeming unsurprised at our intrusion. "Took you long enough," she said with a smirk.

AN: Sorry the whole chapter was in the pov of gods and stuff, Percy will be back soon enough. Also for those who might be confused, the whole Artemis POV is happening at the same time as the Odysseus POV. Well, that's it for this chapter, take care and I hope you enjoyed :)
