Writing Prompts thing! Maybe your thoughts on how Class 1-A would react on how Bakugou was a abusive f*ck (there are children!) twards Izuku, and everything he did? Maybe punch him in the face? Just how you think it would go down if everyone found out about the full scope of things Izuku went through before coming to UA (with or without knowing about his past quirklessness), and how he had no support other than his mom, and how Bakugou is a horrible person. THANK YOU

Ooo okay, well I was already working on something like this but ahaha, we can't go wrong with having more versions.

For how open and friendly Izuku was, he was actually very private and reserved. Sure, he could ramble off a bunch of stats of heroes, was always ready to offer help to anyone who wanted it and definitely didn't hide his All Might fanboy status.

But, he kept the details about him and his past to himself. Everyone in the class knew that Bakugou and Izuku were childhood "friends" but they couldn't even name Izuku's favorite color, his hobbies or even what Middle School he had come from. Izuku could talk about his mother when prompted, but when others were sharing funny memories and things they use to do as kids, Izuku would smile but never offer up his own anecdotes.

(They had learned the name of his middle school name from Bakugou, which said a lot when they thought about it.)

So when another round of reminiscing during a late night at the dorms sent Izuku off to bed early, they looked at the stairway where Izuku had disappeared up to, growing quiet.

"Izuku doesn't like talking about the past," Uraraka calmly remarked. Her hands twisted in worry.

"Perhaps he just likes to focus on the present," Iida said.

Kirishima turned to see Bakugou lingering in the kitchen, not really a part of their group but hanging around the edges. "Hey, Bakugou, what was Izuku like before coming to UA? Has he always been like this?"

"Did he and you have any other friends?" Ashido asked. "He never mentions anyone but you."

Bakugou stilled. He didn't meet anyone's gaze, choosing instead to look out the window. "No, he didn't have anyone else. He used to be even more open. Use to be first in line to help to you, first in line to rattle off the big new thing he had discovered, first in line to show off the newest toy he had gotten."

"Why isn't he now?" Kaminari asked, throwing his hands behind his head. "I mean, it isn't like Midoriya isn't that friendly, but he always waits for someone else to start. So why did he stop doing that?"

Bakugou shoved his hands into his pockets, shoulders hunching. "When it got bullied out of him."

Silence fell. Slowly, the pieces of puzzles fell in place, Izuku's reluctance, Bakugou's defensive posture. What was and wasn't said. The way Izuku flinched, the way Bakugou wouldn't look them in the eye. One by one, they turned to look at Bakugou.

"Oh," Kirishima said.

"Yeah. Oh," Bakugou parroted back, sarcastically. Annoyance and the tiniest bit of regret and concern flashed in his red eyes. Then he turned stalked out of the door, leaving them behind.

"... Man this is messed up," Kaminari said.

"I didn't notice," Uraraka whispered.

Yaoyorozu sighed. "I don't think any of us did."
