I got this idea when Malice-Mal-Ben-Bree-1998 reviewed on one of my story.

I would like to apologize to you first. When you gave me a list of pairs to do a story on, I thought of an idea that you may not like.

This story is short but I hope you do enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Descendants.

Lonnie blinked her eyes in surprise as the many girls in the cafeteria sighed in despair. "Could you say that again?" She requested. "I don't think I heard you correctly."

Chad Charming smiled arrogantly, for he thought he could predict her answer. "I asked if you would do me the honor accompany me to the Royal Cotillion this Friday."

Lonnie thought he was only joking, but after a few seconds she realized something. "You're serious?"

"Why wouldn't I be?"

For some reason, that angered the Chinese soldier's daughter. "Do you honestly think you have the audacity to ask me?"

The spoiled prince appeared confused because of Lonnie's wording. Lonnie rolled her eyes as she ordered, "Explain why you think we should go together."

"Because everyone thinks of as a couple." Was Chad's immediate response or attempt at being romantic. "After all, we did share a couple's dance."

Lonnie fumed in rage. "We are not couple. And I don't see why you'd think we were."

"Babe-"

"Don't you dare 'babe' me!" Lonnie yelled in anger as she shoved him away from her. "I never ever had a thing for you because you are a self absorbed prince! You always try to get who you want and when you can't have them you ruin that person's life! Your girlfriends only last a couple months before you decide they aren't good for you and you dump them. Heck, you were devastated when Audrey dumped you because you didn't get to dump her first!"

Chad started to get concerned by the attention they were getting because he knew it wouldn't be good for his image. "Maybe we should take this somewhere else-"

"Now you want some privacy after trying to make everything seem like an event?" Lonnie interrogated as she was on fire. "You should have done that during Family Day instead of insulting my friends!"

"They deserved-"

"Like all those girls you were dating deserved to have you cheat on them?" She retorted before he could finish his sentence. "I saw the messages on your phone Chad. You must've had a dozen girls texting you and you didn't know half their names!"

"But I know yours!"

"Only because you wanted to suck up to my brother so you could be on the R.O.A.R team." Lonnie argued aggressively. "All the members of the team worked hard to be part of it except for you. You bribed the other coach, who managed to convince my brother to let you keep your spot on the team."

Chad was having enough of being insulted so he rephrased his first question a little forcefully, "Do you want to go to the dance with me or not?"

"NO!" Lonnie screamed in furry as everyone winced in fear that she'd unleash her anger on them. "I'd rather be locked up in a tower with no food or water on the Isle of the Lost than go or do anything with you!"

She turned her back to him and took a deep breath to calm herself. "Besides," she looked over her shoulder at him, "somebody already asked me."

"What? When?"

"About a week ago, after R.O.A.R practice ended."

This time it was Chad's turn to fume in rage. "Then why didn't you-"

"So you'd finally know what rejection feels like."

She walked away from the spoiled prince with a new spring in her step. She walked with the ex-thief, who wrapped an arm around her shoulder out of protectiveness, leaving the stunned prince with no pride.
