Legend of the seventh element chapter 17.5 part 1:

Child of the north and gifts from the heart

Previously on the legend of the seventh element: the girls and I met up with Aura Lily and they were shocked to hear her call me daddy.

Canterlot, Castle entrance...

The girls were all baffled that she called me daddy.

"Hold on for a sec, you have a daughter and you never even considered to mention this." Said Applejack out loud.

I sighed for a bit while Aura Lily looked between me and the girls with an amused smile.

I then steeled myself for the long explanation I knew I would have to give.

"I will explain everything when we go to Canterlot Castle because I think the princesses also want to know what I'm about to tell you all. Especially Princess Luna since she is connected to little miss prankster here. Isn't that right, Aura Lily." I was about to say but when I turned around, I saw she had dumped a load of snow over the palace guards who were shivering from the cold before being drenched with cold water.

"Thihihi, oh did you say something daddy. I was playing with the stiff statues here." She said in an innocent tone I would have bought if not for the victorious smirk she was giving me.

"You and your pranks are going to give me grey hair one of these days, Aura Lily. Now undo what you did to those guards or so Luna help me. I will place a seal on your powers and let you help me in my forge for a whole week, do you understand." I said to her in a serious tone.

She instantly looks at me with fear.

"No, not that please," she begged of me with a pleading look.

"Then you know what you must do to avoid the punishment, I hope," I said with a burning look in my eyes.

She nods at a fast pace and she uses her magic to instantly clear the two guards of the icy water and chilly snow.

"Well done, and because I am such a forgiving man, I will forgive you pranks. But next time you do something like this, your punishment will be enacted without refusal." I said to her with a smirk.

"Understood, Ben. I won't do it anymore," she said with a smile.

"I will believe it if I see it, Aura Lily," I said to her before addressing the girls.

"Well then, now that problem is solved and the guards are not in a heap of snow, what about we all go to the palace and introduce Aura Lily properly to the princesses," I asked of them while they just nodded still a bit shaken by the revelations.

I then walked back inside the castle with Aura Lily and the girls in tow to speak with the princesses.

We were walking inside the hallways to the throne room until we were stopped by to guards.

"Excuse us for barring your entry high guardian, but may we ask your reason for seeing the princesses. We are just doing our job." the female guard said to me.

I just smiled at her with a very loving smile and saw that a visible shudder went down her spine before I answered.

"No problem at all miss, the reason I am visiting the princesses is to tell a delicate matter and maybe If the talk goes well... Let me say that the guards will get some reassuring allies." I said to her.

She looked shocked at that before nodding at me.

"well then, I wish you very good luck with the conversation. But knowing how well you are acquainted with the princesses; it will be a sure win," she said to me before she and her colleague raised the spears and I opened the doors to the throne room.

When I was inside, I saw that Luna and Nightmare Moon were chatting with each other over various political affairs and Celestia was writing something down with a quill while two advisors were helping her with the mountain of paperwork.

Seeing they were too busy to notice us, I clad myself into a golden aura before it vanished and I stood in an official equestrian armor with some differences.

The armor was silvered colored with the emblem of Equestria emblazoned on the center of the cuirass while a white cape finished the armor.

As for weaponry, I was carrying a silver battle spear with an azure blue tip that was adorned with a pair of wings at the end of the spear point.

I then lifted the spear vertical before slamming the flat end of the spear against the stone floor creating a loud and resonating bang that was heard in the whole throne room.

Everyone either yelped in fright or jumped in fear at the loud bang before looking at me.

The princesses were looking at me with shock while trying to calm their hearts.

"My apologies for the loud entrance, but there is a matter I must discuss with the three of you all. It involves the gift of possibility." I said with a serious tone.

When I mentioned the gift, Celestia immediately dismissed the two advisors and ordered the guard to block the entrances while making sure none shall interrupt this discussion.

The advisors bid us a good night and left through the door before the guards also went outside and went to stand into position with spears crossed barring any entry.

When the advisors and guards had left the throne room, I then began to explain the matter related to the gift of possibility while the princesses sat down on their respective seats.

"Well then, the matter I came to discuss here has to do with the girl I came herewith. Princesses, may I introduce you to Aurora Nightlily or Aura Lily for short. Child of the north and one of the children of possibilities that came from our collective magic that day at Twilight's birthday." I said to them while Aura Lily bowed a little bit before the princesses.

"Nice to meet you all, Aunt Celestia and Aunty Nightmare Moon and hello mommy," she said while I snickered at that last comment of hers

The girls were once again shocked hearing Aura Lily address the princesses like that, but none were as shocked as the princesses themselves.

They were all wide-eyed and were gawking at me and Aura Lily.

Luna was the first to react.

"What in Equestria's name is this, Ben. Why does this young one call me mommy?" she asked with surprise in her voice.

"Well to explain that, she will have to do something about her current appearance. If you would take it from here, Aurora." I asked of her.

"Yes daddy, I understand what you mean. If they want the truth about me then I better play along and place my cards on the table, isn't that what you always say." She said and I nodded.

When she was finished talking, she closed her eyes while a small chill was present in the air before a small whirl of snowflakes and mist swirled around Aura Lily.

Then when the small whirlwind had subsided and she was revealed, that was the moment everyone had their jaws hanging wide open.

There stood now a young mare with still a snow-white coat but her mane had a darker cobalt color and was billowing like the princesses while ice crystals were seen inside her mane...

A white icy mist formed around her hoofs.

Then when she opened her eyes, they had changed from a light blue color to pink with blue edges along with the iris and she spread open her wings.

Her wings were icy white and the feathers had patterns of long ice crystals following to the end of the wings.

And finally, her cutie mark was a crescent moon with a snow cloud at the side.

Everyone had various reactions upon seeing her real form.

Mine was one of pride seeing how she had matured over such a short time while Scootaloo looked amazed.

The girls had also different reactions: Twilight was speechless at the true form of Aura Lily as was Applejack.

Rainbow Dash was raving about having a new flight buddy while Fluttershy looked with a small smile at her sensing what she is.

Pinkie Pie was already thinking about throwing a huge party for the girl while Rarity was already coming up with various designs for her.

But the ones who had the most emotions written on their faces were the princesses.

Nightmare Moon was grinning seeing the connection between Luna, me and Aurora Nightlily.

Luna had tears in her eyes and was holding her hoof in front of her mouth seeing how beautiful she is.

But Celestia had another reaction. She instantly flew off the throne and landed hard before Aurora.

Everyone was shocked by her sudden reaction.

"Why are you here spirit of winter. No hate is in Equestria, so why do you appear here before us." She said with a hard tone in her voice.

Aurora wasn't intimidated by the hard tone nor the serious look in Celestia's eye.

"I'm only here on a family visit, Aunt. There is no need to scold me for just coming to visit. And if you're thinking I'm like the others that came over these lands then you're wrong." She said with equal force in her tone.

Celestia looked straight into her eyes to see if she was lying.

Aurora looked straight into her aunt's eyes as well.

After a long staredown, Celestia smiled at Aurora and hugged her.

"Then I welcome you here, little niece. I welcome you here on the castle," she says with a warm and heartful tone.

Everyone breathe a sigh of relief seeing everything was alright.

Luna and Nightmare Moon then stood up from the throne and walked closer to Aurora.

They then too joined into the hug as did I and Scootaloo.

"Isn't this a nice way to welcome a new family member?" I said to them all and they nodded in agreement.

We then released each other from the group hug and walked to our remaining seats.

I then began to explain the details about my little snow blossom.

"Well then, now that introductions and loving hugs are done. Aurora shall tell you about how she came to be and what change she brings to the realm while I fill in the details between her explanation" I said to the group while Aurora took that as her cue to start.

"Thanks, daddy, now let's see. With what should I start?" she said thinking about it.

"How about the very beginning when the light of the gift traveled to the north and how your life began," I said to her and she instantly nodded.

Ooh yeah, thanks daddy." she said with a smile to me before continuing.

"What Ben said is true, I'm fairly new to the realm of Equestria. I was born when a bright light touched down in the mountains of northern Equestria while a violent blizzard was howling there. When the light touched the ground, I was born within the storm that had stopped. Then when I was aware of my surroundings, I noticed the body I had. I was then asking myself the classic questions of life, like who am I or why I'm here before hearing a voice inside my head. I later found out it was daddy who told me who I was and what my role was in this world." said Aurora to the group.

And what is your role here in Equestria, if I may ask?" Asked Luna with curiosity.

"Certain events are now in motion in Northern Equestria that will determine the future of the land down the way. Daddy asked me to keep a close eye on how everything up there unfolds properly and preventing that there won't be anyone throwing a monkey's wrench into the machine so to speak. Then when it is resolved, he asked of me to become a watchful eye over the northern region and regularly keep him up to date how Northern Equestria would fare after the events to come." She said to the girls and the princesses.

Everyone was progressing this new information while I was renewing my memory of her explanation before telling them another piece of information.

When everyone had recovered from the new information, I then continued on the information by telling them a new piece of information.

"Now then, let me tell you why Aurora here looks like this. She can be considered the child of my windigo magic and Luna's magic. That is why she considers Luna and me her daddy and mommy as she calls us." I explained to the girls.

Twilight and Nightmare Moon nodded at that already having seen the resemblance between the three of us while the others fell a bit stupid for not realizing it earlier.

But the biggest reaction was from Celestia and Luna.

Celestia was completely shocked that such a feat could happen while Luna was still processing what I had told her.

When I saw that everyone had progressed this, I continued to tell them about Aurora Nightlily and her role.

"Also, there is one final thing I must tell you about Aurora before I can begin over the other ones chosen by the gift," I said before I gave a silent nod to aurora who understood what I meant.

She nods in understanding before closing her eyes for a while a triquetra appeared on her face before reopening them.

The triquetra that had appeared covered her entire face with her eyes between the spaces and the center one had its bottom lines by her nose and the top lines by her forehead.

Everyone was shocked by the appearance of the mark on her face which I explained.

"You see, I included in the gift several symbolic marks from my world so it shall be very easy to discern who has gained the gift of possibility. And the final thing about Aurora Lily is that she is the only one who was recently created from the gift. The others who will inherit the magic and the mark of the gift are already inhabitants of this land."I said to everyone present.

The princesses were pondering who could be possible candidates from the land while the girls were giddy with anticipation.

I then continued to tell them the final detail of the conversation.

"I also did a headcount how many candidates will inherit the marks and the roles that came with the gift me and princesses made and Twilight had opened. Besides Aurora here there nine other candidates and they will come from different regions." I said to the ones present in the conversation.

They all nodded at that before Celestia asked me a question

"Say, Ben, since you already have made a count how many there will be beside our new niece here, do you also maybe know their general or even specific location?" She asked of me.

I nodded at her request before I adapted a thinking pose to remember where they could be.

After I remembered where they could be, I proceeded to answer her question.

"Yes, I do know their general locations: three candidates reside in the general area of Ponyville and the Everfree Forest. One other candidate also comes from Northern Equestria. The other five are a bit less specific: two other candidates reside among a barren wasteland and one of them comes from the desert located in Southern Equestria. The final three others live beyond the borders of Equestria." I said to them.

The girls were absorbing this information and when they had processed everything, Twilight then told us the summary of everything.

"So, if I understood everything right, then Aurora is the child of ben windigo's magic and Luna's magic. She is also the only one of the ten candidates who has come into existence this way, while the others are residents of the land already. And finally, to discern the candidates from the rest of the inhabitants of Equestria, they each have a special marking that is unique to your world. Is that about right what I said?" she asked of me.

"Yeah, that was a very good summary of everything that I have told. Thanks, Twilight." I said while she gained a small blush at the compliment.

I then turned my attention back to the princesses.

"Well then, dear princesses. This is all the news I have to tell you all at the moment, and you can also be assured that if I meet any other of the nine candidates along with my adventures here in Equestria that I will inform you of this. So, if there is nothing else you wish to discuss, I wish you all a very pleasant heart's warming eve this night. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, here take this." I said before four envelopes appeared in my hand and I throw them like a set of daggers at them which they caught with their magic.

"What are these invitations for Ben, they are quite lovely." Nightmare Moon asked curiously.

"Well, isn't it a custom to give the ones you cherish a special card on these holidays. These are hearth's warming eve cards that can be hung up to remember this day. Also, if your schedule allows it, it would be nice if you could come to my castle tomorrow at noon. You see, the day after hearth warming eve is also a day for presents and I have a gift ready for tomorrow." I said to them.

Everyone was looking in glee at the prospect of getting gifts.

They told me that they will visit if their schedule allows them

"Then I wish the three of you a very good evening. Now then girls please follow me so that I can arrange some transportation back to Ponyville."

I said to girls and after waving goodbye, we all exited the castle while Aurora stayed behind to stay the night with her mommy and her aunts.

Outside the castle...

I and the girls stood on the central plaza outside the palace gates before I suddenly raised my hands and a flurry of ice and snow came from my palms that manifested into a sleigh.

The sleigh was pure white with a snowflake emblazoned in the middle of the sleigh and had scarlet red reigns and finally, a lantern hung at the sleigh. "Well girls, climb on up while I call in some friends from my forest. They should be here in less than a few minutes." I said to them while they climbed aboard.

I then whispered a few words in another language before letting them fly on the wind.

Then after waiting for a while, a fog came rolling in through the city and a clattering beat was heard inside of it. Then a few deer and a buck appeared out the fog.

They were pure white and had gilded shoes under their hooves while the buck had silver antlers.

The girls were looking amazed at the forest dwellers while I slowly approached the buck of the herd.

When we stood face to face, I slowly placed my hand on its snout before mentally speaking with him.

"I thank you for answering my plea, my friend. It makes travel easier."

"no problem for a fellow child of the forest, you are a friend to all the creatures of the forest and you know that we are there to help you," he replied to me.

I then removed my hand from its snout before motioning them to follow me. The buck and the deer followed me to the sleigh while I took the reins from the sleigh and attached them to the buck at the lead and the deer's in the middle and back row.

I then climbed up the sleigh and took the reins in my hand before turning around to face the girls.

"Now hold on to your horseshoes, because this is going to be a speedy ride," I said to the girls before looking back at the front of the sleigh.

"Alright then, here we go!" I shouted out and under the rails of the sleigh appeared a blanket of snow before the buck and the deer pulled the sleigh and we speeded down into the fog.

The girls screamed in fright and excitement when we speeded down the mountain road at a fast pace while the blanket of snow kept extending while we traveled further down.

I looked back momentarily to see the girls their reactions and saw they were holding on to the woodwork of the sleigh while Pinkie was laughing like crazy.

We were almost down the mountains before I pulled the reins to right to steer them into the forest.

The deer and buck followed my movements and turned to the right into the forest to Ponyville.

I then gave a few pulls on the reins to signal them to slow down a bit.

They slowed down to a trot while I heard several sighs of relief at the back.

"Everypony still in one piece back there?" I said with a chuckle.

Twilight and Fluttershy gave a weak 'yes' as a response while Rainbow, Scootaloo and Pinkie Pie gave an exciting response and asked to do it again.

Rarity was pale as a sheet and Applejack was still clutching the wooden rail of the sleigh before relaxing.

"Partner, that was seriously fast. Are you trying to get us an accident or something," she said still a bit unnerved by the ride.

"Bah, don't worry about that. I'm a very capable driver of the sleigh. I was trained by the northern goddess Skaõi who trained me into skiing and riding with the sleigh." I said to them who just nodded

I then spurred the deer and buck back into a faster pace and we continued through the forest back to Ponyville.

After riding for a while, we came out to the forest and Ponyville was seen just at the end of the road.

Then when we were finally into town, I pulled the reins to halt them.

The girls each stepped out of the sleigh one by one.

"Thanks for the ride back home Ben, even if it was a bit too fast for my liking." Said Twilight while Fluttershy, Applejack and Rarity collectively nodded in agreement.

However, Pinkie and Rainbow had grins on their faces.

"Are you kidding, that was the most amazing ride. We were going right and left at high speed and I was like 'Yippie'..." Was Pinkie Pie saying before Rainbow placed her hoof over Pinkie's lips?

"We get it, Pinkie. It was one heck of a ride." Said Rainbow with a smile.

I smiled at the compliment the girls gave me.

"Thanks for the compliment girls, and here. I didn't forget to give you all a card for Hearth Warming Eve" I said to them while handing them a postcard.

They each thanked before I gave the signal for my forest friends to depart back to my castle.

The deer and buck began to pull the sleigh and me and Scootaloo waved our goodbyes while we headed back to the castle.

When we were back at the castle, I released them from the reins and mentally thanked them for their help.

The buck of the group turned his head to me while mentally saying:

"As I said, it is no problem. A pleasant night for you and your sister." he mentally told me.

I nodded in response before they scattered back into the forest.

When I sensed they had disappeared back into the forest, I turned around seeing Scootaloo waiting for me at the door.

"Are you coming, Ben?" she said to with a giggle.

I smiled back at and I broke out in a sprint over the pathways until I stopped in front of the door.

I then made a few one-handed signs and the door opened themselves for us.

I and Scootaloo walked back inside before I did the hand signs in reverse and the doors closed again while also closing the locks.

"Alright then, now that we're home and all. Listen up Scootaloo, I want you to prepare already for bedtime because tomorrow will be a busy day." I said to her and she wined in response.

I, however, looked at her with an unflinching gaze and she quickly swallowed her response.

"Alright, big bro. But what are you going to do, because from what you're saying you won't be going to sleep anytime soon," she said and I nodded at that?

"I'm going to prepare the gifts for the girls I had promised to give. You see, I was planning to make them before midnight and then catch some hours of sleep." I said before walking to the hallways of places and ages.

Scootaloo just let out a chuckle while whispering to herself.

"Only your brother would do something like that for their friends," she said before going to bed.

Meanwhile...

I was walking at a fast pace through the hallways of places and ages until I reached the center of said hallways.

"Alright then, here we go. Time to make a few nice gifts." I said while making the bones in my fingers pop a bit before going to where I needed to be.

A few hours later...

I came out of the door to my fashion room all tired and sweaty from all the hauling, weaving, blacksmithing, wiring and other manual labor along with extra technical maintenance I did in the room and the other rooms I went to.

I looked upon the wristwatch I once bought for myself before I came here to these lands and saw that it was just a quarter before midnight.

So, I quickly went to my bedroom getting a pair of fresh clothes before jumping into the shower and washing the sweat off myself.

I then dried myself off before putting on my sleeping clothes.

I then walked back to my bedroom but not before going into Scootaloo her room and gave her a peck on her forehead.

"Good night, Little Sister. May your dreams be pleasant this night." I said while closing the door softly.

I then went to my bedroom and went under the wool dreaming about random stuff.

The next morning...

I was deep asleep when suddenly I heard knocking on my bedroom door, so I folded the sheets back and stepped into my slippers.

"Yeah, I'm coming," I said still half asleep and opened my door seeing Scootaloo standing in front of me.

"Morning Big Bro, I thought I should wake you up since it is already a quarter past ten. And didn't you say the girls would come for a visit to pick up the presents," she said to me.

I was instantly awake when I remembered that. I quickly ran to my wardrobe, took a fresh towel and stood back into the doorway.

"Thanks for the wakeup call, little sis. Now if you excuse me, I will be right back. Also, would you like to prep me a sandwich please?" I asked of her while she nodded at me.

"Not a problem at all, Bro. Consider it covered" She said to me and with that, I sprinted off to the hallways.

(Ben's P.O.V)

I was heading down the hallways for the bathroom and I quickly went inside to shower off the sweat I had collected in the night.

(Scootaloo P.O.V)

Scootaloo walked into the kitchen before opening the fridge and taking out various ingredients and some bread out of the basket. She then placed the ingredients between two slices of the bread and placed it on a plate for me.

"So, that's finished. I think I will go read a book until Ben arrives or our guests," she said to herself before stepping over to the living room and taking a book from the table to pass the time.

After a while...

Scootaloo had just turned around the page when the bell rang of the front door.

"Seems our guests have just arrived," she says to herself before placing the book on the table and going to the front door.

She then unlocks the bolts of the door and opens them.

And standing at the bottom of the staircase stood the girls with princess Luna and Celestia behind them.

Scootaloo lets them inside before closing the door against the draft.

"Hey girls, I hope everyone had a good day so far. And it is very nice to see you could come, dear Princesses." She said to the group.

The girls all smiled at her before Luna asked where Ben is.

"Oh yeah, he said he's taking a shower right now. He should join us any minute right now," she said to the group.

And not a minute later when Scootaloo said that, the door to the bathroom swung open and out of a cloud of steam came I into the hallway.

"Hey sis, have our guests arrived yet? And if they have, tell them I going to get dressed before I join them." I said while still drying my hair with one of my towels.

I then turned around and saw everyone gawking at me, and with good reason, because I was wearing nothing but a towel around my waist, hair all messy and muscles on display.

Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Celestia and Luna were looking at me with smirks pony while Rarity, Twilight, and Fluttershy were looking at me with crimson blushes and looking sideways while trying not to peek. But pinkie was just looking at like it was the most common thing in the world.

"Well, this is an awkward situation. I will be right back with something on." I said with a chuckle before speeding down to my room.

The girls still had a blush on their cheeks before going to the living room in silence.

Twilight, Celestia, and Luna sat down on the first of the two three-seater sofa's that I had in the living room while Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie Pie sat on the second one. And Rainbow and Scootaloo sat down on the new two-seater sofa I had bought last fall.

They all stayed silent until Pinkie broke the silence.

"Did you all see how Ben was, he puts the rocks on our family's rock farm to shame." She said with a smile.

Everyone looked at Pinkie with a slight blush at being reminded at what they saw in the hallway.

Twilight nodded at that before continuing at that subject.

"Well, he said when he was forging his elements with his bare hands that he had the physique that was the prime example all males from his race strived to achieve," she said while her blush intensified when remembering when he was half-naked and sweaty from the heat.

All the girls their blushes intensified except the princesses remembering that moment.

Celestia seeing her pupil's blush gained a smirk and said something that increased it to atomic red

"That's quite the blush you have, Twilight. It reminds me when Ben and Scootaloo were our guests and came into the dining room with new outfits and power unchecked that winded my sister's gears quite a lot," she said with a small giggle.

Nightmare Moon and Luna gained blushes in various shades remembering that week the two visited.

"You were just as affected by his aura and presence, sister. You were the one looking at him like he was the finest dessert of the world served right in front of you" Luna retorted with a knowing smirk.

Now it was Celestia's turn to blush up a storm.

Then Rarity added her piece to the conversation.

"Maybe so, but it's hard not to look at him in that way. After all, he has physical prowess that rivals a dragon or even surpasses it, has a gift for magic and spells I had seen only by Twilight before he arrived here, and I could go on for a very long time speaking over his talents. Not to mention he's as much a gentleman as he is handsome." she finished with a dreamy look on her face.

"you forget to mention he's damn honest, he gives even me a run for my money with his honesty." Said Applejack with a smile.

"And that he is a good flying partner. I do have to admit it, but he's capable of speeds that might rival the speed of my Sonic Rainboom" Said Rainbow with a smirk thinking of having a perfect competitor to test her limits.

Scootaloo had a smirk on her face.

"So, if I hear you alright, you're all thinking my brother is perfect colt friend material," she said with a smirk and an amused tone in her voice.

All the girls their blushes went from fading to nuclear red in an instant.

I was just walking inside the living wearing a shirt with orange flame patterns on the sleeves and a red flaming dragon on my back.

My pants also had flame marks but they were blue flames and they were also on the sides of my shoes in the form of wings.

They all turned their heads around to me when I walked inside and looking at me with quite the faces.

Because they looked at me with a far-off look in their eyes and open hanging mouths.

With each step I took, I felt their eyes follow me until I was seated in my armchair.

They kept staring at me until I voiced out my annoyance.

"If you want to stare at me so much, take a picture and hang it on your wall or something. I mean, you're all looking at me like I'm a stranger or something." I said with a furrowed brow.

Scootaloo chuckled at that before seeing that my patience is running thin.

"Well brother, it is not so hard to guess why they stare at you so much. You're almost eclipsing the entire room with your magic power if it wasn't for the three princesses' power acting as a wall from flooding this place with your energy. Plus, you assault their five senses with your aura of dominance and masculinity." she said with a smirk.

I instantly checked and was shocked by how much magic and presence I was pumping out in the room.

I then quickly pulled in my magic power and aura that pervaded the living room and saw the girls were coming back to their senses but had some serious blushes on their cheeks.

"Sorry that my aura had such a negative effect on all of you, I will try to keep it down," I said with a small chuckle.

However, instead of saying it was no problem with me they all shook their heads in disagreement.

"Oh, it's not like we disapproved of this, but it was quite a surprise. I never knew you had this much raw power in you." Twilight said to me.

My smile went wider before explaining the truth.

"That is the magic power I release sometimes unconsciously, the actual magic pressure that I can release with my will doesn't compare to what you felt earlier. But enough gloating about me. I called you all here to give you all the special presents for the holidays." I said before I snapped my fingers and a set of wrapped presents appeared.

They each looked with big eyes at the gifts and pondered what it could be.

The first one to receive her gift was Rainbow Dash

"here you go, Rainbow. I made this gift with the idea in mind that you wanted to join the Wonderbolts in the future." I said to her while handing her the gift.

She quickly snatched the gift in her hoof and opened the box.

She gasped when she saw it was a top-notch blue flight suit complete with a set of specs that looked highly advanced.

"that flight suit covers the whole body and was woven from special fiber that makes it weatherproof against everything from supercharged thunderstorms to hurricane winds that can reach to 500 m/ph. It also makes the wearer having no problem with any speed loss or aerial mobility problems. Then there are the capabilities of the goggles: perfect vision under any weather circumstance while it also shows how were your flying at the moment, also if you join the Wonderbolts eventually ask one of the lieutenants or even Spitfire if they need a new designer for their outfits." I explained to her.

She was so happy with the awesome that she did two loops around in the living room before hugging me tightly.

"Thank you, this is one of the most awesome things anyone could have gifted me," she said to me to which I nodded at her.

I then handed the second gift to Rarity.

It was a lot smaller gift box than what I gave Rainbow Dash.

But when she opened it, she was genuinely surprised.

Inside the little box was a needle for tailoring and two sets of threads.

Rarity looked surprised at the gift before she took the needle in the grasp of her magic.

She jolted back into her seat while the needle fell back into the box.

Everyone looked in shock at the needle in the box while I chuckled a little bit.

"I should have known that the needle still had some residual magic from its creation. Sorry, for that Rarity." I apologized to her.

She just laughed it off.

"No problem at all ben, I was just surprised by the sudden shock. But can you tell me what so special about this particular needle and the two spools of treads since I already have so many needles and spools of various tread to work with," she asked me out of curiosity

"your right about already having many materials for your line of work, but this particular set is one of a kind. This needle will enable you to work with every fabric, tread like any other needle but it also enables you to work with any other material in this world." I explained to her.

She looked shocked at this but stayed silent when I continued with my explanation.

"And then there are these two sets of tread, they are the treads of reconstruction and creation. As their name implies the thread of creation can be used to stitch together all manner of materials while the thread of reconstruction can mend any tear or hole in all clothing without leaving a mark." I said ending my explanation.

Rarity then came off the couch and gave me a big kiss on my cheek before sitting back into the couch.

"Thank you very much Ben, this set of needle and thread will be very helpful by further advancing my tailoring skills," she said with a smile.

"No problem at all, Rarity. I do much for a friend." I said to her with a smile.

I then gave pinkie her gift and quickly unwrapped it.

She then opened it and saw it was a stack of books containing recipes about various desserts and other confectioneries.

She eagerly took one of them and began to read at lightning speeds before thanking me over and over.

"Thank you thank you, Ben. These are recipes from your world, aren't they?" she asked of me to which I nodded in response.

"That they are, when I was thinking about what to give to Ponyville's party planner it came up in my mind almost instantly. After all, it is one thing to surprise a friend but it is quite a task to surprise one who has a form of foresight or Pinkie Sense as you call it." I said to her with a smile.

Pinkie gained a wide smile before jumping off the couch and giving me a powerful hug before walking to her place humming a tune.

I then proceeded to give applejack her gift.

"Could you follow me outside for a moment, because if I gave it here, I would have to lay new flooring," I said with a chuckle.

They all had questioning looks on their faces but followed me none the less.

Then, when we were outside in the vicinity of the forest of the castle grounds, I snapped my fingers and a big plow with a ribbon appeared out of nowhere.

Applejack looked like she fell in love with it and quickly checked it out.

"Here you go Applejack, one fresh handmade plow crafted from the strongest woods from the surrounding forest and the blade is forged by my hand. You won't find many plows of this quality, I guarantee it. The handles and woodwork come from the branches of one of the oldest oak trees in this forest while the blade was forged out of adamantine." I said with pride.

After she had checked the plow, she came over to and gave me a strong but friendly pat against my side.

"Thanks a lot, Partner, Big Mac and I were thinking for a while about replacing that old plow we have for a while. Now we can replace it without a problem," she said with a smile.

"No problem at all, Applejack. And if you need some maintenance for the plow, send me word ahead so that I can take some time free in my schedule." I said to her to which she nodded.

I then hauled the plow back to the garage where Applejack can pick it up after her visit.

Back inside the castle, I then proceeded to give Fluttershy her gift. It was a slender cylinder-like shape wrapped around flexible tree bark and a ribbon made out vines.

"Here you go Fluttershy, I know you have a hobby for music so I made this for you," I said before handing it out.

She slowly unwrapped it and looked very pleased with it.

It was a beautiful wooden flute with fern carvings over the flute while the carving lines were painted green adding extra beauty to the flute.

"This flute will serve as an extension of your magic, Fluttershy. When you play on this instrument, all of nature shall flow and dance upon the rhythm of your song. But be careful with it, it allows you to tap into the vast power of the realm and such power can overwhelm a troubled or weakened spirit." I said to her with a serious tone.

She nodded at me before trying to play a song.

I saw this and quickly blocked the hole where the music was about to come through.

"I almost forget, if you try to play random tunes it may have some weird effects. You need to play by various music scores, so here is the first score: the ballad of the earth." I said to her before showing the bark of where the gift was wrapped into it.

There were green notes carved into the bark on a single line

"this song is the easiest to master because the rhythm of the song doesn't change that much. Oh, and only train at home, please. My castle is already big enough. This song can make the trees to become very invigorated causing them to grow very hard." I said to her with a smile.

She thanked me before rolling up the music score and putting it away in her saddlebag.

Then it was Twilight's turn for her present.

It was a rectangular form wrapped in gift paper.

She opened it saw it was a book with a multicolored gem worked into the cover of the book while a purple tassel was inside the book.

"Here you go Twilight; this is a complete codex of all the mythical creatures of Equestria along with a written explanation from myself explaining what they are and what they can do. Keep this book very well hidden. If others find this collection of knowledge, they might try to fight these creatures for glory. But that would be most foolish because not only may they end up injured or worse, almost half of the ones who hold the mark of destiny are one of these creatures. It could sour relationships between them and us before we even had met them." I said to them with seriousness to her.

She nodded vigorously at that.

"It's good to see you understand. Now then princesses, I have a gift for each of you. But priorities first, there is something I must show the three of you in the hallways of places and ages."

They looked curiously at me but stood up from the couch nonetheless.

When we were about to leave, a sudden insight flashed through my head.

"How could I forget, with how events will play out shortly I think it would be best to include her into these matters." I thought for myself.

With that in mind, I turned my attention to Twilight.

"Hey Twilight, do you want to accompany us on this trip through the hallways? It would prove to be beneficial in the long run, not to mention be educational." I said to her.

She instantly perked up at the prospect of learning something but was a bit hesitant.

"Are you sure ben, I wouldn't want to interrupt the important conversation you could be having with the princesses. You're the overseer of Equestria aren't you, so..." she was about to continue, but I interrupted her by placing a finger on her lips.

I smiled at her before whispering something to her.

"I may be the overseer of Equestria, but that doesn't mean I can't make time for those precious to me. So, come with us Twilight," I whispered to her.

Her protests died out and she just nodded at me.

"Well then, without further ado. Follow me then." I said to them and lead to the hall of ages and places.

I will put the story on hold here and set the devices of my story in part 2
