In So Many Words

So Waige is finally together. *screams internally* so I would love to predict the future conversation Paige and Walter will have with Ralph.

"I think it's too early"

Paige sat down on the couch and bounced her leg almost with a twitch. She looked around the the empty garage expectantly.

"I think it's the perfect time. From one genius to another I predict he would be rather pleased," Walter sat down next to her.

"You don't know that for sure. He's been really- grumpy lately"

He looked at her heels, "I'm pretty sure thats because I fired you instead of confessing my feelings for you"

Her eyes widened, "He knew about that?! You told him?"

Walter put his hand on her shaking knee, "I didn't…in so many words. He's a pretty intuitive kid."

Paige leaned back, "huh."

"So are we going to tell him or not."

She sighed, "Sure. But I need to practice," Walter raised his eyebrow, "you pretend to be Ralph and I'll be me."

"Um why am I Ralph?" She smiled and took Walter's hands as if he were a child, "Ok Ralph, Walter and I need to tell you something..."

"Oh I'm acting!"

Paige nodded exaggeratedly, "So... Walter and I have decided to um... well it actually happened on Happy and Toby's wedding day and Walter said.. well you don't need to know that..."

"Gosh mom what are you talking about!" Walter whined in a bratty girly voice.

Paige shook her head a bit amused, "Ok so you can act out Shakespeare scenes but not like Ralph?"

"I was trying to prepare you for a worst case scenario!"

"I can't imagine a scenario where my son sounds like that," Paige scratched her head, "I'll be Ralph this time so you can see how to properly do it."

Walter cleared his throat, "Ok, I'll act like me."

Walter took Paige's hands this time and she bit her lip to keep from smiling, "So Ralph, your mom and I wanted to inform you of a new situation that has happened between us. We have decided to start a dating relationship. Questions?"

"Why would you do that? I love my mom too much! I don't wanna share her!" Paige tried to cover her laughter.

Walter smiled, "He would never say that either!"

Paige combed her fingers through his hair, "He'll be as excited as we are when we tell him, right?"

"I have a sneaky suspicion we won't have to after all," Walter looked at the doorway.

Paige turned quickly to find her son with the widest smile.

"You guys are weird."
