Jude was sitting in a pew waiting for Marianna to come back from the restroom. He decided to come to church for no real reason other then he felt like it and maybe a new place would give him some inspiration for his next story. Jude heard his sister giggle and looked in that direction to see her talking to Lee. Jude was confused as he thought she that guy. They both sat down next to him.

"Hey Jude" Said Lee offering him his hand.

"Does Callie know your friends with Liam?" asked Jude disgusted.

"I'll have you know as long as everyone calls me Lee around her, she's ok with it and we had a nice conversation about the food at the reception" said Lee.

"Sure whatever" said Jude in disgust.

"You don't have the right to judge me, by the way I'm not the guy who hurt your sister, plus I read your books and news flash I can read in-between the lines which I could easily judge you off of but I'm not so cool down" stated Lee.

Jude looked at Lee who stared back at him. Neither said another word but Marianna who was sitting in the middle could feel the hate and stares. Unluckily for her Grant showed up with a pissed off expression on his face.

"Marianna we need to talk" hissed Grant.

"Your dads about to speak can it wait? asked Marianna.

Grant grabbing her arm in a tight grip yanked her up causing her to winch in pain.

"Now!" spat Grant

Jude watched as Marianna stood up and was practically dragged away by her boyfriend. Jude didn't like the way Grant spoke to her or how he forced her to leave. He looked at Lee who face was a mix of shame, anger and fear.

"How often does he hurt her!" hissed Jude.

"Excuse me?" asked Lee caught off guard.

"Since they've been together how many times has placed his hands on her!" demanded Jude.

"I don't know...a lot" said Lee filled with shame.

In disgust Jude stood up and headed in the direction he saw the other two head in. His own anger and shame building with each step, his vision narrowing. He saw doors but only one was open a crack. He entered the door and walked down the stairs. He looked around the basement but didn't know where they were until he heard their voices.

...I'm sorry, I forgot!, I'll pick them up!" cried Marianna.

"You fucking better and after that you need to check every inch of this place for ants because if I find even one I'm gonna make you eat it" snarled Grant.

Jude turned towards he sound as he grabbed the nearest object. He didn't know what it was that he grabbed but he didn't care as he crouched in the darkness waiting for what he believed was coming.

"Your fucking doing it wrong you dumb whore!" hissed Grant.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" cried Marianna as she scrubbed the floor harder.

"You make me sick!" snarled Grant as he kicked her.

Marianna fell to her side winching in pain.

"You know what get the fuck out of here, go sit with LeAnn and when you get there tell him I know and will deal with him later" said Grant.

"You...you know?" asked Marianna.

"I do and if you don't get out of here now, you'll have bruises for years!" hissed Grant.

Marianna quickly left the room mostly grateful for the reprieve but to also warn Lee. She never saw Jude. Jude was about to enter Grants room when he noticed the door opened out and all the stuff down here looked heavy. Jude also remembered Grant had placed his phone in Lee's room to charge. He looked in the room taking note of the fact there were no windows. As Grant grabbed a beer and watched tv, Jude shut the door then began moving heavy boxes in front of the door. No one would hurt his sisters again.
