This is going to be a Percy/Zoe/Artemis Fanfic. Artemis and Zoe will be on equal standing with each other, the order of the above really doesn't matter at all. The story have just about NO jealousy- or at least any that doesn't get resolved quickly. I really hate conflicts within multi fanfics. Annabeth will be pretty irrelevant once the plot gets moving, so don't expect much of her after the first few chapters.

Mount Olympus (New York)

Percy Jackson knelt before the twelve Olympians on Mount Olympus, a few hundred floors above the Empire State Building. The wreckage from the defeat of Kronos a few weeks prior has already been tidied up, but the destruction could still be felt in the air. The Gods had decided how to reward the hero of the hour and discuss his next steps.

Zeus went first. "I believe that Perseus Jackson, without whom we would probably be in a rather uncomfortable position, deserves an ample reward for his efforts to serve the Olympians. I myself shall generously reward Percy with mercy, and tolerating his existence even if he were to trespass upon my domain- the air. I won't remove that fear of yours of it though, but you can rest assured I won't go out of my way to throw a lightning bolt at your airplane. Would anyone else like to bless Percy Jackson, before I continue with my announcement and give him a quest?"

Percy internally grumbled at the thought of having to go on another quest. Gee, thanks Zeus. You won't go out of your way to strike me from the air. Truly generous. Haven't I done enough already for Olympus? Will I ever get some peace and just sit back and relax?

Percy successfully internalized his complaints, and took a deep breath before announcing his demands, which had been plaguing him for weeks now. "Being in this position of glory you all have so graciously given me honors me, but there are still several who's many contributions to he effort go unrecognized. Firstly, I would like Hades and Hestia both to have thrones on the Olympian Council, and cabins at Camp Half-Blood. Hades' army was crucial in the last defense of this tower, and without Hestia's help, I feel we would've still lost in that final conflict against Kronos. Their contributions have been great, but as of yet, recognition none or little. Also, I would like Calypso and Leto to be freed from their respective prisons. I believe that Leto has been punished plenty for her crimes and has done nothing more evil than pretty much all the gods, while Calypso has committed no crimes other than existing as the daughter of a Titan. I hope that the gods may likewise bestow their generosity upon those I have mentioned."

Zeus nodded thoughtfully for a minute, then replied, "You ask for much boy, and while I don't like the idea of Hades receiving a place here in this throne room, your words have their merits, so I shall acquiesce."

Zeus clapped his hands. Instantly, two new thrones appeared at the ends of the circle. One of them was made of black obsidian, embedded with gold nuggets, and all sorts of gems, all the while radiating an aura of fear and cold. This was clearly Hades' throne. The other one, was a rather plain wooden and marble throne with glowing carvings of homemade foods and hearths. A warm aura of peace and coziness radiated from it in a way that made all desire to fight fade slightly. Their respective owners soon flashed into them, with looks of gratitude towards Percy.

Hestia looked at him gratefully, and then said, "I would like to bless Percy in light of his service to Olympus. I shall grant him the power to cook homely meals well, and give him some control of fire. I would also allow him to sense other's emotions when he wants to, but not exactly what they are thinking about."

No one had any objections, and some of the gods (namely Artemis, Hera, and perhaps Hephaestus) felt a bit guilty that they too did not support Hestia receiving a throne earlier. Hades spoke up in the silence that followed after Hestia's blessing, "I will give him 3 pounds of golden drachmas, 1000 denarii, and also my thanks and the permission to travel in and out of the Underworld whenever."

Artemis surprisingly, announced "I shall give him a crude means to communicate with all animals. I will also give him a hunting knife to show my thanks for saving Olympus." She waved her hand, and a silver glow enveloped Percy for a second, and a hunter's knife appeared in a plain, but sturdy sheathe on the ground before him.

Percy decided some verbal thanks were in order for this surprise gift. "Thank you very much, Lady Artemis." Artemis deigned not to reply but gave a nearly imperceptible nod of acknowledgement.

Apollo frowned at the thought of having any male other than himself talk to Artemis for fear of further degrading the reputation the male half of the population already has with his twin sister. Percy's pretty honorable, he wouldn't make a move on Artemis, would he? Of course, he neglected to consider the fact that a pretty sizable portion of the "poor impression" Artemis had of males was due to his own misbehavior….

He was disturbed from his musings by Aphrodite squealing, "Oh, I simply must give you my blessing! Most heroes are so glorious on the battlefield, but an awkward failure in the bedroom. You simply must avoid that tragic fate."

There was a puff of pink smoke, and Percy emerged coughing. His actual physique didn't change, but in Percy's mind, he now had much more knowledge than he wanted.

Poseidon growled and gripped his trident a bit tighter, "What foul things have you done to him?"

Aphrodite cheerfully replied, "Oh, nothing that you would care about, just gave him some knowledge and a few suggestions on how to further his relationship with Annabeth."

Poseidon was bemused at her antics, but simply sighed before continuing "Oh. I would like to give Percy my blessing as well. I shall increase his control over water and make him tire less easily." He snapped his fingers, and a light sea breeze seemed to flow over him before fading away as quickly as it appeared. Percy smiled at his father and nodded in thanks.

The room was silent for about 30 seconds before Zeus attempted to rouse the gods on to further business. "If that is all, I shall discuss the quest for Percy."

Apollo, who had by now settled his faith that Percy could be trusted, spoke up "I would also like to give Percy my blessing, which will be that he can shoot somewhat straight. You'll still have to practice, but at least you won't be completely incompetent."

Percy glowed golden for a moment, but then Zeus looked rather grumpily around the room "No more blessings to give? Then I shall continue. Percy must go to the Underworld after the meeting to handle some disturbances inside Tartarus. Just inside the entrance of course, not in the depths. I'd like to keep the bridge between the Underworld and Tartarus clean and under our control."

Percy was more than slightly surprised at the amount of blessings that he had received, but decided not to question it. After all, why would anyone question free stuff, especially when it was so useful?

He thanked the gods, and then bowed, taking his leave to prepare for the trip into the Underworld.
