Me: So you're saying that Morro's only appearing for like a minute in the Day of the Departed special? With ZERO apology to Lloyd?

People Who Wrote The Script For DOTD Or Something: Yep.

Me: *increased breathing* YOU LITTLE-

Yeah, I really needed to write this. Shorter than my other fics, but...still sweet?...Short and sweet?

"Wait."

At the sound of Morro's voice, the ninja skidded to a halt and turned to face him. The Master of Wind was silent for a moment, feeling a little embarrassed.

"I, um...I'm sorry...for what I did to everyone in the past." The ninja exchanged glances. "I took away something you loved for my own gain...and didn't even think about how you must've felt afterwards. All of it was wrong, and...I don't know if you'll ever forgive me."

"...Wow. Who knew he could be so honest?" Jay spoke up, to which Kai elbowed him.

Silence followed, and Morro's gaze locked onto the ground. He felt a burning sensation in his eyes-tears. Those again, huh...it's been a while…

"Even lessons learned the hard way are lessons learned."

Wu's quote? Instantly recognizing it, Morro startled and looked up. Lloyd stood in front of him, a small grin creeping across his face. "You're right, Morro. What you did in the past was wrong. But in the end, you changed. You're a whole different person now, the person we always knew you could be."

"Not me," Jay whispered.

"Would you shut it?" Kai hissed. His eyes flashed dangerously.

Lloyd stuck out a hand. "We forgive you, Morro, and we appreciate what you've done to help us."

For a second, the ghost could only stare down at the open hand. Finally, with a nod of confidence, he took it. "Thank you," he muttered. After a brief handshake with the Green Ninja, he released his grip. "Now, go. Your brother needs you. Lead like a true master."

Lloyd blinked. "M-Master? Wait, what do you-"

It was too late; Morro had already disappeared into the museum. In response, Kai walked up to Lloyd and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"You know...that's probably the best advice he's ever given," he said. Then, he raced back to his friends and onto the Bounty.

Of course, Lloyd followed them...but not before he gave a quick smile toward the museum.

Thank you, brother.

Did I mention that Morro's the cinnamoniest cinnamon roll to ever cinnamon roll?

Oh, I said that in my last fic?

Cool. The more the better.
