Darkness rising part 2 act 4

Just then a ground bridge opened and out comes Conner with lunches for everyone and they grabbed their meals.

Just then an anomaly appeared on screen it was Long-Arms' life signal albeit weird.

"Blasted earth tech!" Ratchet cursed.

"Long-Arm's signal popped back online." He continued.

"Who's Long-Arm?" asked Miko.

"An Autobot who's a friend, the one who gave Cliff his weapon and other things, before he was captured and went offline." Said Conner sadly.

"He's the one who you told me about at work." Said Jack.

"Cliff and Arcee knew him back on Cybertron and they been on some crazy missions, the ones that earn them getting scolded by my dad, Cliff was doing some Energon recon in New York when Long-Arm came along and joined up with Cliff because he had some intel, but the cons got there and they were attacked, they were able to fight them off until the ship fired at the deposit but Long-Arm used a stasis grenade to stop time and placed 3 flash drives and his weapon on Cliff and tossed him out before the grenade wore off and the deposit was destroyed and Long-Arm was taken, by the time we got there it was deserted we found Cliffjumper at the top and we tried to find Long-Arm but he was taken and then his life signal went off line." Conner said with sadness in his voice.

The others can tell that Conner feels very deeply and so did the Autobots.

"How is this possible?" Optimus asked.

"It isn't. Another bug. The system's chock full of them." Grumbled Ratchet.

Conner then went up to Ratchet and smacked him.

"DON'T BLAME THE TECH YOU GRUMP!" Conner snapped.

"Damn!" said Jack trying not to laugh.

"Optimus!" said Ratchet.

Bumblebee bleeped saying "You did ask for that one doc."

Ratchet groaned.

"If there's any chance Long-Arm's alive," Arcee trailed off but Optimus and Conner knew where she going at.

"Ratchet prepare sick bay we might need it." Optimus remarked. "Conner I need you to man the ground bridge."

"Dad I'm coming with you and you know I'll sneak along anyway and besides I welcome the chance of kicking some con tail pipe!" said Conner.

"He does have a point Optimus I say he comes along." Said Arcee.

"WHAT?" boomed Optimus.

"Conner are you serious?" said Jack. "You can get killed."

"Trust me Jack I been doing this for a long time and the cons have killed one of the bots I known and it's payback time." He said cocking his 4 barrel shot gun.

"I'm coming as well."

Everyone turned to the source of the voice, it was Cliffjumper standing up and awake.

"CLIFF!" everyone shouted.

"Please Optimus let me come with." Cliff begged as he struggled to stay up.

"Cliff please you need your rest, you'll still recovering." Said Ratchet.

"Optimus, Conner, Arcee please let me come with you." Cliff pleaded.

But before anyone can say anything else Cliff collapsed on the floor and Bulkhead and Bee helped him back into the med bay.

"Optimus if it's possible can you bring back some energon?" said Ratchet.

"Ant-Man!" shouted Conner.

"Right here." He said coming over.

"Scott do you have your 'gun'? asked Conner.

"Yeah why?" asked Ant-man.

Conner explained and he got the idea.

"Don't worry I'll zap about 10 crates and then when we find Long-Arm we'll bring it back to base." Said Ant-man.

"Arcee what is with you? You know how I feel about Conner coming into battles." Hissed Optimus.

"Look Optimus I know how you feel about Conner coming with us but he can't stay confined forever and I know he's grown, but he has to make his own choices." Said Arcee reasoning with her secret lover.

"But he's all I got left." Said Optimus.

"Look dad I know you worry but I can handle myself, plus I have do this for Cliff and Arcee." Said Conner.

Optimus knew that Arcee and Conner were right, he was that crossroad when it comes to Conner's well being and well when that happens he goes to Arcee for help, not Ratchet because she knew always what to do and he trusted her more than anything. (Also he loves her)

Sighing he gave in "Ok he comes along." He said.

"Alright!" said Conner jumping down.

"Hey Wolverine want to slice up some cons?" asked Conner.

"Never had to ask bub." Said Wolverine extending his claws.

"Hey! What can we do?" asked Miko.

"Remain here with Ratchet and the others." Said Optimus.

"Awwww…." Earning a moan from both Miko and Ratchet as the ground bridge activates.

"Autobots roll out!" said Optimus as the bots transformed into vehicle modes, Wolverine and Ant-man got in Bulkhead and Conner jumped on Arcee and they headed into the groundbridge.

"What just happened?" said Jack.

"I transported them to designated coordinates via the groundbridge." Answered Ratchet.

"What's a groundbridge?" asked Raf.

"A scale down version of Space bridge technology." Ratchet said in a grumpy voice. "Since we don't have the energon or means of intergalactic travel."

"You're stuck here on earth." Said Jack.

"With the likes of you yes. But I've constructed the groundbridge to travel anywhere on your planet." Ratchet boasted.

"Does it work for humans?" asked Raf.

"Naturally." Nodded Ratchet.

"You mean we can shoot on over and visit my parents in Tokyo?" Miko questioned.

"Within moments. In fact, allow me to send you there immediately. All 3 of you." Ratchet offered.

"Watch it Ratchet. Miko warned.

"Yeah Conner would kill you." Smirked Jack.

"To hell with him!" You know when we arrived, Optimus was eager to get back to Cybertron and forget this planet, but he met that human and sired a child with her and he chose to remain on her and forget his plans to return so that Conner he can have a stable future!" Snapped Ratchet.

"He was just being a father by wanting the best for his child! Everyone does that!" Jack retorted. "And from I what hear, you guys fall in love once!"

"Optimus wasn't really 'in love' with her, his spark lies with someone else." Scoffed Ratchet.

"What a grouch bot." said Raf earning nods from Jack, Miko and the others.

Well that ends act.

Next one up is the battle in the mines.

Now the next parts Cliff does get a bit better but he's still not allowed to fight he's at 39% healed.

Now Act 5 will be up sometime in May.

Also when there will be some extra chapters when this arc is done.
